Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Together Dental and their team of friendly and professional staff. I am the world's worst dental patient but Dr James Anang and his wonder assistant made me feel very at ease, confident in their skills and walked me through every step of my extractions. I highly recommend their services and staff.

Fantastic experience: Had tooth extraction and was seen by oral surgeon as had two previous mcomplicted extractions.done and went alot more smoothly the oral surgeon and his assistant was kind and caring and reassuring as I have a fear of dentists definitely ask to see them again if need another.tootj extraction in the future

Negative experience: The guy on reception with glasses is extremely rude. Very hostile and unwelcoming. He clearly hates his job.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Together Dental by my regular dentist as they were not comfortable doing a wisdom tooth extraction. I was in agony for weeks, I arrived at Together Dental to be greeted by a very polite and helpful receptionist, greeted into the dentist treatment room by a very smiley and happy dental nurse (apologies I can’t remember her name) and a fantastically happy and jovial dentist Mr James Anang who is an absolute legend. I am now pain free and ready to enjoy Christmas. Thank you all so much

Fantastic experience: I have been referred to Together Dental for wisdom tooth extraction and have to admit I could not wish for better experience. Lovely reception staff, waiting time wasn't too long, appoitment and extraction was fast, smooth and painless. They have instructed me well how to take care of it after appoitment. I just took a painkiller on the day of extraction and from following day I felt good, so no painkillers were needed, everything healed lovely without any complications. Highly recommend that practice

Negative experience: Every time I have to wait because they are running behind, once an by an hour! No wifi and no signal in there either. Such a horrid time to waste with no updates. Can never get through on the phone, even when there’s no one in the queue! The staff are nice and the treatments are quality but the little things need attention

Fantastic experience: Was referred to have a appointment with Together Dental to see a specialist to remove four teeth. Staff were very polite and talked through everything. The local local anesthetic they use now you don't feel a things was over in 30 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Was on time, explained what would happen in a friendly matter of fact way and was a bonus when nothing hurt. Managed to remove my wisdom tooth including numbing and explanation of risks in just under 15 minutes!! Very effective.

Negative experience: The receptionist is terrible and she was not even working , just kept chit chatting to her colleagues , and worse she said I need a tooth extraction when she knew nothing about my situation and she is not even a dentist

Negative experience: Staff are generally friendly and welcoming. I have been three times so far, second time was to get moulds made of my teeth, which went fine but I had a call a week later saying that they had to redo the moulds because they weren't usable. Weeks later I went back again but this time the dentist used way too much mould stuff and it slid down my throat, causing me to gag and wretch as I tried to get it out. There was no apology for the uncomfortable experience and nothing was said as I walked out. I had to rush home to be sick as I could still feel the putty stuck in my throat. So far, not very impressed with my experience. I was hoping to have the trays in by now but no such luck.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to see a dental surgeon here from my own dentist for treatment. I was seen on time and all staff were lovely and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Appointment was for my daughter. We were seen on time with zero delay. We were pressed for time, even though they were not aware of this. She was made to feel at ease and everything was done and explained meticulously. This goes for the dentist and her assistant. Brilliant!!

Fantastic experience: The dentist I saw was Cristina Renta. She had to do a lot of work as I has a couple of very bad teeth. She was excellent. I had a very large filling but felt no pain. My teeth all lined up lovely, none of the weird feeling when a new filling is too high and your bites not right. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went in person looking for an emergency appointment for my son and he was seen to immediately. We are very happy with the service we received from the very kind and patient receptionist to the dentist.

Negative experience: "I have been waiting in a queue to speak to the receptionist for 3 hours, but when I finally got through, she was extremely rude and didn't allow me to explain my query. She hung up the phone on me while I was still talking. Her attitude and behaviour were unprofessional, especially for someone in a front desk role. Her actions could seriously damage the reputation of the business."

Negative experience: Worst dental practice ever. They took us out of the register without informing and told we had to visit them every two years how would we know that?

Negative experience: I'd like to provide a 0.5 star here. We were previously NHS registered at this dentist from 2012 to 2022. When we aimed to restart post covid, we were informed that we were no longer on the register and would never be again. Whilst we were registered patients, our family had multiple short-range cancellations. We presumed that we were bumped for private patients, but cannot be sure. Over 10 years it was at least eight times. On one occasion by not turning up to a paid appointment after being notified of its cancellation, the full prepaid fee was withheld and a further appointment was not made available. This feels like racketeering with bright white teeth and big smiles.

Fantastic experience: Not going to lie it was more traumatic than any other treatments I have had, that said, James and his assistant were absolutely awesome. It was an extraction that was quite complex. I was kept comfortable and informed at all times. My own dentist would not touch me and I have been waiting since May 2023 to have this tooth looked at. Thankyou James and co for looking after me. X

Negative experience: Proper joke been calling since November for a NHS emergency appointment for a filling. I now have an abscess and most likely have to go to A & E as they don’t have any ever available. Just one a day that seems to vanish. If not you can pay £65 for a consultation deposit and £145 per filling as they have private appointments in abundance.

Fantastic experience: Together dentist is not my dentist,they fitted me in for an emergency which I attended yesterday.From booking in to seeing the the dentist I can only give the five stars.The dentist checked & explained everything to me re treatment & advised me on my next steps.If I didn't already have an NHS dentist I would certainly sign up here .Thank you for seeing me so quickly over the Christmas period

Fantastic experience: I usually hate going to the hygienist and feel it’s torture money. However, Rosemary at Together Dental Southend made the experience almost pleasurable and i will certainly go back to her again. Had a double tooth removed today and an implant put straight in plus bone graft and stitches. Vishal and his nurse (Charlotte I think that was her name) were wonderful - such a good team - and the care and attention was top notch. I am so happy Vishal was my dental surgeon. He’d already placed an implant on one of my front teeth (bone graft and stitches again) but I got my prosthetic tooth today and it looks so natural and fits beautifully. Thank you both and I’d recommend anyone who has the funds to consider an implant and highly recommend Vishal Patel as one if the best dental surgeons in the business.

Fantastic experience: I was seen immediately I arrived by Mr Geo Mathew. I found him (and his nurse) helpful and efficient. The extraction was completed so quickly and painlessly that I wasn't aware of it taking place.

Negative experience: Very upset. My first checkup at a new dentist. Obviously no NHS availability, so I paid private prices. First appointment was cancelled for a checkup. After rearranging, I then booked in for a hygienist clean and my appointments have since been cancelled twice. The second cancellation was on the morning of the appointment for which I had already booked the day off. With no mention of compensation for the time lost, I was told I could get a refund in 10 working days. Because I said I needed an urgent clean because of fear of a cracked tooth, I was told to call another dentist (not part of the together dental group) and go to them! I am more than happy to take my custom elsewhere and will find another dentist that can help.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent dental practice in every respect. Very professional care in an extremely hygienic setting. My dentist is very kind and understanding. Totally recommend!

Negative experience: I was an NHS patient and then opted to have veneers, after paying a lot of money I haven’t been able to get an NHS appointment because apparently I’m no longer a patient. Even getting an emergency appointment is impossible. It seems the receptionists are ignoring the phone purposefully and answering email queries takes more than 24h to respond to. I am very disappointed and will be changing to a different dentist. Also veneers are beautiful and well done! Shame they opt to ignore people in need of NHS treatment.

Fantastic experience: I was seen on time. The oral surgeon could see I was very anxious and put me at ease. He reassured me the whole time. All of the staff were very friendly and empathetic. The procedure was over very quickly. I was given clear aftercare instructions. If I ever had to return there I'd have no worries at all.

Fantastic experience: Priyanka is so attentive at my appointments, she goes the extra mile to make sure my smile is at its brightest. I have been receiving Invisalign treatment for over a year now with Priyanka and I would definitely recommend her to others. She’s incredible at making sure I’m comfortable during treatments and happy with my results. I genuinely enjoy talking to her and catching up during appointments every few months.

Negative experience: After Together Dental cancelled my dental appointment for the 5th time I at last got to attend an appointment today after 11 months of waiting. I was very upset to have my appointment cancelled as I was waiting in reception . I was told there was no longer a NHS dentist available and I’d have to pay an extra £44 to see the dentist privately . I’ve given up on Together Dental. Please can somebody recommend a NHS dentist able to maintain their appointments .

Negative experience: A bit disappointed had an emergency dental appointment on the NHS with this dentist branch, 4 weeks ago and in a lot of pain still. Was told to ring back to get an appointment again if still in pain and they told me there’s no NHS appointments now as the dentist who did my filling cannot do route canal and I will be charged £760 at the one at Southend. They also said it’s more than likely I was given an overfilling at the dentist in Basildon, which has caused a lot of discomfort. Ended up ringing 111 and they were very helpful and got me an emergency NHS appointment elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: James was friendly, with a good sense of humour and put me at ease. Quick and professional procedure to remove a broken off root and the dental nurse was lovely too. Would definitely have no issues with being referred to this surgery again in the future.

Negative experience: Getting appointment is extremely difficult even if it is private. They don't give NHS appointment, I have been calling over a month for an appointment still no luck.

Fantastic experience: A really friendly and helpful receptionist when I arrived. I only had to wait 3-4 minutes before being called into the surgery. Again a very friendly nurse, as was the dental surgeon. He explained everything to me ,made me feel completely at ease, and carried out the treatment efficiently and professionally.

Negative experience: I have been a customer for many years and had lots of private work done including 8 crowns and Invisalign. Very happy to see you for these services but when a small problem ,no appointments for days. I have also been seeing a periodontist ,advised by them and when had an appointment to discuss results dentist did not even look at report and said come back in 6 months. Negative experience: Extraction completed and left in pain, went back and was given antibiotics, finished them and still in pain. Called and the only time they could see me I'd a week later in another part of Essex! So basically left sitting in pain!

Fantastic experience: I've suffered with pain in my back teeth for a few years, everytime I visit a dentist I'm given a filling. I chose to book a private appointment here 3 days before Christmas and explained how I felt and they gave me very clear choices and explanations. I chose to have the tooth extracted and they done it on the spot, I was in and out within an hour and immediately feeling the relief I had sought for many years. Best £300 I ever spent, I can't lie. Worth every penny to be free of pain and sensitivity and a comprehensive explanation for once. What's more is I ate Christmas dinner pain free too!

Negative experience: Receptionist they are not well educated, I think they choose cheap receptionist, don’t know how to politely handle the clients. Even don’t know how to speak well English. Worst Ever. Not Recommended At all. Don’t waste your time with them … Go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this Dentist since it opened. I find it the best in Southend. The Dentist"s are just brilliant, caring, patient & thorough. The receptionist's are just wonderful, who put you at ease.

Negative experience: Clean and nice place but their reception team need serious customer service training. They have no idea on how to treat a customer. I cannot signpost someone there with an awful treatment that I got from their reception. Really unfortunate for an office like that.

Negative experience: I reached out to Together Dental after seeing that they offer Invisalign Treatment and I moved to the area. The lady I first spoke to about their upcoming Invisalign offer running this week was extremely helpful, so I was looking forward to the consultation. When I arrived, the receptionists were arguing with a patient who was trying to get booked in. When she left, the staff continued to gossip about her, whilst also talking about how close they were to quitting their jobs. When I was called in for my appointment, which was 25 minutes late, the dentist didn't know what I was there for or that it was for a free Invisalign consultation. Nothing about the treatment was spoken about other than the pricing, and when looking at my teeth I was told that Invisalign might be okay or I should go to an orthodontist for metal braces, which I was confused by (I understand cases can be complex, but I wasn't sure whether this was a green light for Invisalign or telling me to go elsewhere). The practice isn't welcoming and I did not feel comfortable here at all, unfortunately, I will be finding another practice for treatment.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible, I went in for a tooth extraction and he completely messed it up, I was in severe pain I had to go back and they made me pay for an appointment. Another dentist there checked my tooth and informed me he cracked my jaw when pulling it out and now part of my JAW Bone is sticking out of my gum causing me intense pain. They didn’t give me no pain medication and no solution. They said I should just wait for my jaw bone to grow out of my gum.??? Absolutely ridiculous, I’m in the process of filing a claim for dental negligence because this has been the worst experience ever

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that out of all the dentists I have been to over my 57yrs of life, my time at Together Dental has to be the top one. Yet again I had an emergency appointment and yet again I was seen and dealt with straight away. The care and attention is what makes this the best I've been to. Fantastic experience: Priyanka and her dental nurse are so kind to my elderly father. He lost his wife (my mum) 3 weeks ago and I asked Priyanka if there was any way she could get my dad's dentures done early so he had them in time for her funeral. She shuffled around some appointments and so he will have his new teeth and be much more comfortable for the send off. She didn't have to, but was gracious and accommodating for us - thank you SO much.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists make you feel welcome when you walk in. Very friendly and helpful. My dentist is always nice and gives good advice on how to look after my teeth and also how to improve my brushing routine

Positive experience: Had check up and mentioned burning mouth sindrome which the dentist has referred to specialist, also agreed to have new mouth guard for night use, I was disappointed with the increase in price from £80 LAST YEAR NOW £150 for the mouthguard another disapointment is given follow appointment then had a phone call to cancel due to dentist not available on the date given, now got to wait another 2weeks for the follow up ask why I cannot see another dentist for the mouthguard and Xray which I was told that would not be possible, Why?
