Fantastic experience: Dr. Nishu Chhantyal is truly the best dentist I’ve come across in the UK in the past 9 years since moving here. I was lucky to have both of my children — aged 13 and 15 — registered with her, and she was absolutely fantastic from the very first appointment. Extremely attentive, professional, and full of quiet confidence that immediately puts you at ease. She was incredibly patient and kind with both kids, explaining everything clearly and making sure they felt comfortable throughout. Even though we haven’t started any treatments yet, I already trust her completely. A rare find — I can’t recommend her enough, especially for families.

Nobody's idea of fun, but Faika did a fantastic job of putting me at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable and inspires complete confidence, which is what you want in a dentist! My daughter is always happy to visit and, thanks to Faika, is enthusiastic about cleaning her teeth and even flossing every day. I must also give praise to their reception team. They have always been very polite and made it as easy as possible to fit appointments around my work schedule. I would not hesitate to recommend University Dental Centre.

Fantastic experience: Excellent and careful examination as usual for my regular inspection. Please can you replace the cycle racks outside as they are not secure and are also unsuitable for bikes with wide tyres.The types that cycling organisations recommend include the Sheffield Rack similar to those outside the GP surgery next door. Could you change to that type? Many organisations and local authorities are installing or changing to that type. Thank you.

The process to join the practice was clearly defined, and i was well guided by the staff. they were thorough in explaining how the process will unfold and necessary steps that i need to do. The staff was very professional. For my diagnosis, Samira (dentist) was very thorough and listened to me and my past experiences, which i had with another dentist. She took great care of drafting a treatment plan and guided me well throughout the first treatment i received. Overall, i am very satisfied to switch my dentist to the University Dental Centre. i highly recommend them.

She kept checking if I was okay and explained what she was doing. I cannot recommend her enough and am so happy I found her! Will definitely be coming back

Positive experience: You can find the dental clinic behind the GP surgery. There is walking path from the right side. Opposite to car exit way On an NHS acute treatment, called on for the right time, it didn’t take long for the emergency checkup. Few parking spots inside but there’s ample 2 hours free parking on the roadside too

As I’m heavily pregnant, I was quite nervous about my appointment, but their professionalism, care, and delicacy completely put me at ease. Dr. Aleena showed exceptional empathy and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout the visit. Her kind and understanding approach made a world of difference, and I truly felt cared for. Sujata and Lajima were equally amazing, working seamlessly alongside Dr. Aleena and displaying the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. The whole experience was smooth, and I left feeling very well looked after. I cannot recommend Dr. Aleena and her wonderful team enough for their outstanding care and dedication to their patients!

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with my first experience with University Dental Service. I had toothache and phoned to enquire about registering. The receptionist sent me an application form to fill in on line. I filled it in and got an appointment within 10 days. Anthony the dentist gave me an X-ray and a filling ably helped with his assistant. I didnt need anaesthetic. He was very gentle and I never felt a thing. The receptionists were helpful and friendly. Mr Ranu my dentist for 30+ years retired and I am very pleased to have found a comparable dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: Called in an emergency. The receptionists were so accommodating and tried there very best to find me an appointment slot. When I arrived they were very supportive and sympathetic. I was seen Dr Shabir who was also very professional and wasn't judgemental or condescending. Excellent dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I phoned yesterday to make an appointment for a checkup next month which I paid for. I then asked if there was any chance of an urgent appointment before then as a filling had come out and managed to get a cancellation for the same afternoon. Excellent service.

Positive experience: The dentist is always really nice and accommodating, explained what she was doing and why, which really helped with my anxiety. I only gave three stars as I felt that the receptionist did have an attitude when she asked for my name which I didn’t appreciate, would be nice to be spoken to in a more respectful manner. Fantastic experience: I had a broken filling, so was hoping for an appointment in the very near future. Owing to a cancellation, the practice was able to give me an appointment on the day after I phoned. When I attended the surgery, I was seen almost immediately, a couple of minutes BEFORE my appointment time. The dentist combined replacing the filling with x-rays and a general check-up. All in all, it's hard to imagine how the experience could have been bettered.

Fantastic experience: I've been with this family dental practice since Andrew in the early noughties and they have served me and 3 generations of my family through extractions, braces, tricky root canals and everything in between! The reception staff are amazing - always friendly and accommodating, the practice manager was a receptionist when we first became patients (!) and she is always there to deliver to a high standard, and our family dentist Shabeer is a scholar and a gent. He has not just nursed me, my wife and children, and my parents through it all but gone out of his way to ensure referrals were timely and effective. Service is not just a business but a work of compassion. Thank you guys and keep up the excellent work :)

Fantastic experience: Just recently made the decision to leave my old dentist that I had been with since I was in secondary school and I’m very grateful that I did. My old dentist was commonly referred to as the “butcher” by other patients, here my new dentist aleena was super helpful and took the time to listen to me plus my hygienist cleaned all of my teeth properly for the first time in maybe years! Previously my hygienist would only take 10 mins and even other hygienists didn’t bother but I was so surprised to see that Veronika actually cleaned my teeth. I rarely write reviews but I hope the practice is consistent with their good work :) I’m so happy

Positive experience: Technical service was very good as usual. However, the dentist was 15 minutes late - I had booked an early appointment (09.05) in the hope of avoiding lateness. However, she walked into the surgery at 09.13, and it was a further 7 minutes before I was seen. The dental practice places great emphasis on the responsibility of users to attend on time, with a threat of action against persistent offenders. Why can't we apply the same rules to dentists? Say, a reimbursement of £1 for every minute of lateness?

Having grown up with a fear of dentists, I was initially very nervous to register to the practice but the staff, care and facilities have been above and beyond. Fantastic experience: Always been well looked after by the team at University Dental Centre. I have recently started taking some medicine that could have a detrimental effect to my teeth and jaw, so my dentist gave my teeth some extra work to minmise the chance of anything happening, all on the same day as my regular check up. No need to go back and prepared for the future.
