Negative experience: I had a new nightguard made by Dr. Nilesh Patel. Unfortunately it was causing me pain and did not fit my teeth properly. Dr. Patel did try to fix the issue but to no avail. I don't have an issue with a nightguard not fitting properly as these things do happen, but I did not appreciate the way Dr. Patel handled the issue. He kept repeating every time I came in that I wouldn't be able to get a refund and seemed to be fixated on the issue. It really created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I was also asked to sign a form outlining their "no refunds" policy. I've never encountered this with any other dentist and it really starts things off on the wrong foot in my opinion. The strangest thing was that once I came back for my first adjustment appointment, Dr. Patel told me he was going away for a few weeks. A few days later I had to contact the secretary team to report that the nightguard was still causing issues and they immediately booked me in with Dr. Patel. He kept this up each time I came in for an appointment. Exact same line about going out of town but then each time I came in for an adjustment, he was miraculously still at the practice. Incredibly strange behaviour. Dr. Patel initially offered me a partial refund to cover the fees that they paid to the dental lab, which is a violation of UK consumer law. Ultimately, after citing the Consumer Rights Act and a few emails, I did get my refund. If Dr. Patel invested the amount of energy that he put into trying to deny me a full refund into actually trying to make me good nightguard, I'm sure that things would have turned out much differently. I just want any patients reading this to know that if there is a problem with your dental treatment and you have given your dentist a chance to rectify the issue, you are legally entitled to a refund, no matter what anyone tells you or what you have signed. I will leave a star for the secretary team, who were very professional and courteous throughout.

Dr Jinita is a wonderful dentist, was very welcoming on my first initial appointment followed by today's main appointment which went very well and was performed with an absolute care and precision. Negative experience: As an NHS dental patient, I have been waiting since February for a tooth extraction. Despite calling multiple times over the past few months, I have not been given a definite appointment date or even an estimated timeframe. Each time I contact the practice, I feel brushed off without any real answers or concern for my situation. This delay is now causing me significant anxiety, as I fear the tooth may become infected the longer I am left untreated. Access to timely dental care is a basic health need, and it's extremely disappointing to experience this level of neglect. I hope the practice takes this feedback seriously and begins to prioritise patients who are clearly in need of urgent treatment.

Fantastic experience: I brought my little child for dental check, and I am happy to say that everyone at Colindale Dental provides an exceptional service, starting from booking an appointment to the end of the dental check. For the first time in my history of sparse dental visits this was the first time I have felt totally comfortable and at ease. I attended initially for a review inspection and x-rays. Dr Kinaree was absolutely fantastic and as a health care professional I cannot praise her enough. Dr Kinaree explained clearly the treatment and procedures I will need going forward with exceptional clarity. Absolutely pain fee and comfortable experience. Negative experience: I have been a patient here for many years aswell as my 6 year old son. I tried to call for an appointment for my 6yr old and was told they had nothing available until March at the earliest!! I explained it was an Emergency as he has started grinding his teeth consistently throughout the night and in severe pain, stopping him from eating and was told the best they could do was to place him on a very long list of Emergency appointments!! Terrible service and severe lack of empathy for a small child!! I'm pretty sure if I was a private patient who only joined the practice a week ago would not be treated like this! The NHS is a disgrace!

My teeth were not in the best of conditions and I had some pain in the left side of my mouth for 4 days, however after seeing Erika the pain went & I can't remember the last time my teeth felt this clean! Throughout the whole process from entering the room to treatment to leaving the room, Erika was both extremely professional & friendly. She was very thorough yet gentle with the hygiene clean and gave me so much advice to put into practise myself all without making me feel there was any judgement whatsoever. I have left the dentist today feeling great and cannot thank Erika enough for helping me start my journey to having better teeth! Fantastic experience: Had my checkup after having my baby, we wanted to book as private to avoid NHS queue, but we were told they won't charge women who are pregnant or 12 months after giving birth. During my check-up appointment, as an issue was identified, the dentist took measurements to get me a free night guard. I just had my hygienist appointment, and it was one of the best appointments: No bleeding, no pain, and they entertained my 11mo baby as our nanny couldn't make it this morning because of travel issues. The receìption is exceptionally good every time I've been there. Both receptionists are very friendly and welcoming yet very professional, too. Fantastic experience: Erika provides an impeccable hygiene service. If it’s not Erika for hygiene, I wouldn’t take the appointment. She’s intense with the clean but so gentle to the gums. I’ve been for other hygiene’s in the past who have made my teeth feel overly sensitive after a clean and my gums left feelings swollen for a few days bleeding. This lady has a magic touch and is a pleasure to bring back the wow in a natural smile. I don’t have turkey teeth but she provides a clean to make it look like it

As someone who has undergone various dental procedures over the years, I can confidently say that this was, by far, the most seamless and pain-free experience I have ever encountered. Dr. Li is, without a doubt, a true master of his craft. The extraction of my wisdom tooth was done with such precision and care that the entire process took no more than 3 minutes—utterly remarkable! His gentle touch and the perfectly administered anesthesia ensured that I felt absolutely no discomfort during or after the procedure. I’ve had wisdom teeth removed before, and I can honestly say this experience was in a league of its own—elegant, efficient, and completely pain-free. I felt cared for, reassured, and entirely comfortable throughout my visit. The entire experience at Colindale Dental was nothing short of exquisite. Fantastic experience: Never knew a dental clinic could provide such exceptional service. Hats off to the reception team, and finally to Dr. Kieran. I had a wisdom tooth removed by a different clinic, which lacked professionalism and gave poor post-op advice, and as a result, I got an infection which made me endure a large amount of pain. I booked an appointment to see Dr. Kieran, who not only squeezed me into his tight schedule to give me an emergency appointment but also helped in alleviating the pain and even offered me a free follow-up consultation, which shows his true character and his care for his clients, which is rare nowadays. Best believe this will be my go-to clinic, and I will 100% refer anyone reading this to see Dr. Kieran.

Fantastic experience: I cracked 2 of my front teeth half way through, i had Dr Jinita and her assistant Celia. Dr Jinita repaired my teeth with composite and she has done an amazing job. They have made me so comfortable during the procedure, She really took the time and care to make sure my teeth were normal again. Dr Jinita and assistant Celia were the best i could ask for during this difficult time. I didn’t think my teeth would look normal again but they made it happen. I cant thank them enough and the reception staff is so kind and very helpful. I had so many compliments that my teeth looked so good and natural again. Thank you !

I have moved since for 50 minutes drive from this area, and despite the long journey, I did not want to chage for another practice. Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant experience at this dental clinic. They don’t see you as a patient but as a walking wallet with legs. During my visit, they tried to push an additional service (teeth whitening kit) on me. When I declined because I didn't need it then, the dentist (senior man) behaved aggressively, raising his voice at me for not wanting to buy this kit. As a newcomer to the UK, I felt they were trying to take advantage of my situation. When I requested an invoice I needed for my insurance company, they refused to provide it. They claimed the insurance company would not accept this invoice. They said they would only give me a complete package of invoices after I had completed all their services. This is unlike other clinics, where invoices are issued immediately after the visit. Additionally, they suggested they could put a different date on the invoices. I was shocked by this and decided I would never return. I now avoid this clinic entirely. Update: I do not use my real name in reviews for personal safety reasons.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist practice, super clean with great tech and really high quality care. Dr Si Xing Li really took the time to educate me on my specific dental issues and works hard to minimise discomfort pain. He’s also a really kind and highly professional dentist . Would recommend using this practice. Also the front desk team are great time too, made a big effort to find me an alternative a replacement appointment when I couldn’t make my first, so super accommodating.
