Fantastic experience: Went to Dentist with usual feelings of insecurities worried about how much pain I would get etc..etc..absolutely no need to have worried at all this time. Everyone was so very pleasant. Will keep you posted on my next visit....meanwhile thank you to all the staff..

Fantastic experience: We’ve not had a dental appointment since Covid due to our dentist merging with an other and cancelled appointments ( not from us ) and I was concerned about our new dentist . However , I was pleasantly surprised . I am a nervous mother but never wants to show this In Front of my children . They put me at ease and nothing hurt . My son was also absolutely at ease . Or also didn’t have that awful dentist smell !

Fantastic experience: Called them yesterday but had no availability, so they put me down for a cancellation, called me back that afternoon with an appointment for the following day. Very professional and sorted me out as I requested, great practice.

Fantastic experience: I rang 111 as I was in agony with a loose molar...They gave me an appointment to attend Hunslet Dental Surgery the following day.My tooth was x-rayed before removing and was told the reason it was loose,I had 4 injections and then the tooth was extracted,I never felt a thing.. very happy with the professional service.I was charged £27.40 ..I would definitely highly recommend in my opinion..

Fantastic experience: I have been with this surgery a long time and they are amazing, right from the receptionists..big shout out to Sue who is always helpful and polite..I managed to get an urgent appointment today as I was so worried about my fillings I have a terrible phobia, I saw Zeenna I believe she was called and I had the best service. No one enjoys the Dentist but I felt so at ease and she talked to me throughout to put me at ease, I can’t recommend the practice enough.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service. Don’t answer phone take weeks to answer messages if at all. only aim is to get rid of NHS patients. Avoid at all costs

Fantastic experience: New dentist who I wasn’t sure about as have a needle phobia but 2nd appointment today and really like him as listened to my concerns and allowed me time to think about the recommended treatment.

Fantastic experience: Very difficult to reach by phone, but if you can visit in person reception staff are great and appointments can be made including urgent ones. Parking and bus access very good. Dentists and Assistants are great and know their stuff.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, friendly staff who are always very attentive and listen to the needs of my family and I. I have found them to be supportive and caring. My children are never nervous going to the dentist - they love it! Thanks to Gus and his great team.

Positive experience: Originally booked this appointment and was told April this was then cancelled and rescheduled for today 20th May can not understand why the wait with fillings is so long ? Always friendly and supportive throughout our appointment thank you, today was brilliant very pleasant and informative throughout. However I had to wait over a hour to be seen, reception staff was not happy at all with phone calls and dealing with customers, other customers complaining about the time too however it was very clear that they were very busy, Thank you again.

Negative experience: Used to be decent. Now the phone lines don’t work, you can queue 7 deep and get hung up on. Nobody replies to emails. Appointments are continually cancelled.

Negative experience: Cancelled my son's appointment 2 times.I booked in January for March,got cancelled 1 week before,rebooked for May,cancelled again one week before,rebooked for August.So you need 8 months to see dentist...unless this gets cancelled again.Also this is not the first time this happens and geting them on the phone takes ages,get ready for a very long wait!

Negative experience: Taken over a really bad practice with the promise they are better, been trying for 6 months no one answer phone, emails online forms, they message you a link to book you do that and 30mins before appointment they ring to cancel saying iv only booked a 5 mins appointment so can't attend. When you have done as they have said.

Negative experience: I am updating my response, if I could I’d put a zero star for this dentist, I understand if workers need time off, but my appointment has been cancelled twice in one month, and I’ve got a horrible wisdom tooth, this is not good customer service at all! I’m someone who’s had to reschedule my exams a lot due to this and rescheduling an exam (we’re talking A-levels) is super hard! Because these exams are important! If you’re in search for a dentist, do not come to this one at all, find another one because this is the worst one yet. Oh and I forgot to mention, 99.9% of the time they don’t answer your phone, you just get cut off when you’re at number one in the queue. I get it dentists work hard, but I don’t think it’s fair for patients who are waiting so long for an appointment that probably won’t even last half an hour most of the time. I don’t even understand how this dentist is still open, it should be shut down for inadequate service! I might as well try and find someone to investigate this dentistry area, because if this is the service that’s being provided, it shut be shut down for good! This is coming from a 16 year old, and usually I’m patient but right now, I’m super furious.

Negative experience: Bad service. Honestly I will just discharge myself from this surgery. Even waiting for 2 months to for the appointment, then one day before they cancelled, then they booked for the week after cancellation, I went there the dentist checked my teeth and did nothing, he said I needed hygiene, but needed to book another appointment for the hygiene appointment. Waited for over a month, then attended and said that I needed “filling” had to book another appointment for the filling, so it took me 6 months just to have filling done. I guess it’s because I’m a nhs patient. As if I had paid for it properly had my issues solved in 2 days. Disappointed!!!! Really bad service, never pick up the phone to answer every time people phone the practice. Dentist not friendly at all!! I had to make a formal complaint!!

Negative experience: So many good reviews...?! How?! We must be talking about a different practice!! This one is a complete joke! My daughters appointment was cancelled several times. Emails are never replied to, phones are never answered. After waiting 40 minutes in queue, phone just cuts you off. When you eventually get there, everyone acts like on a holiday camp, especially the receptionist. "Professionals" should prioritise patients over laughter and banter. As you can guess, I strongly advice to avoid the practice.

Negative experience: Hard to put into words how poor this dentist is. They repeatedly cancel appointments on the day an hour before your appointment. Out of the 10 appointments I have booked here I have only ever actually been seen once. They text to cancel and say you have to call to rebook but then don’t answer the phone. Absolute waste of time

He handled a procedure I wasn’t sure was even possible, and I felt confident throughout. Beth, the hygienist, is amazing, she gives excellent advice and truly cares. Fantastic experience: I arrived early in need of antibiotics for what appeared to be an abcess....I was worried because the condition had worsened overnight. The practice very kindly squeezed me in with a dentist and I was able to obtain antibiotics by eleven o'clock

Fantastic experience: All the staff that I have dealt with are friendly and polite and approachable. I'm a very nervous patient and that is taken into consideration each time I visit. This week I had a check up and as usual I was really nervous about it. Once I got into the treatment room I had my routine check up . Was asked if I had any concerns, I had a tooth which was painful when drinking so I asked if it could be removed straight away. Dr Suliman looked at his appointments. Then decided he could get it done . That was yesterday and I've been pain free apart from a dull ache when the stuff wore off. . I Would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Difficult to get an emergency appointment, waited over a week. I received two emails to change the appointment time from 10.30 to 10.40 and then 11.00am. I don't always check my emails straightaway - why can't they telephone? The dentist and dental nurse I saw were very nice, despite keeping me waiting until 11.30am. I had x-rays which thankfully didn't find anything wrong followed by a clean. A few downsides - the reception area should be downstairs, you have to go upstairs to check in and then back down to the surgery, and then back upstairs to pay. The door needs repairing, the downstairs waiting area is freezing and the website needs updating, there is one dentist still on who no longer works there.

Ellie Towning, the dental nurse, was so helpful and accommodating in getting me an appointment to be seen quickly due to me being pregnant and in severe pain. The Dentist, Sulaiman was very efficient and reassuring during the procedure of having a wisdom tooth removed. My appointment was so quick and pain free, I didn’t even know he had taken it out. I have had no issues since - healed fine. Very impressed with the overall service and care.

Fantastic experience: Referred for emergency dental treatment by ‘111’, Hunslet Dental Surgery is a little gem tucked away. Staff were very friendly and took the time to explain what would happen and explain any options. Was seen quickly and put at immediate ease for an extraction, no one enjoys the process but it was the least painful extraction I’ve ever had. Kudos to everyone at the surgery! ⭐️
