Fantastic experience: Always very happy with the service that they provide
Fantastic experience: Very friendly, pleasant staff, the surgery itself is nicely set out and comfortable.
Negative experience: I strongly resent and reject the dental practice quoting a price when I booked today's hygiene appointment (booked six months ago) then trying to charge me more on the day, saying their prices have gone up in the meantime. I don't know if this is even legal, but is certainly objectionable and I refused to pay a higher amount. They sent a round robin email announcing this increase, but nothing directly regarding my prior booking and price agreement, for which I had paid a deposit. Their cash flow in charging around 60% of the fee six months in advance is also objectionable - deposits should be far lower than that, and are far lower in other industries. I have made no further appointments, and will go elsewhere if they try to recoup this money. You will see a response from the dentist below this, in which they falsely claim "the deposit structure is clearly outlined at the time of booking". This is untrue, and outrageous to claim so when it was not stated and was not in writing. Did they check? Did they even know who entered the booking and spoke to me? No to both. I resent these attempts to try to protect themselves from critical feedback, in this case deserved. A better response would be to apologise and offer me a £10 voucher towards a future appointment, undertake to ensure all the front of office staff in their various sites are properly trained, and consider again if this self-serving deposit policy is really to protect a future booking for their clients. Really???

Negative experience: I was not happy with the receptionist. She was lovely, she was asking my details cause I needed to book an appointment, however another client came and she asked me to step back so she can attend this person first. I did it, however, I felt I wasn't important. That was rude. Usually, I have high tolerance for this kind of things but today not.

Negative experience: Dentist was professional and informative. However when leaving the receptionist called me back and asked me to py £25 for xrays. I was surprised as i had paid a £40 fee upfront and was informed of any other costs. When i explainex this the receptionist was surprised that the dentist hadnt advised me of the cost and went to check with him. On her return she explained that he had made a mistake and that i could pay itvor not but was quite short and rude about it as if is done something wrong. I explained to her that it was poor practice for a buisness to carry out work on a patient without advising them of costs first. She kept trying to talk over me. When i had finished saying what i was trying to say she very rudely explained that the dentist had spent an hour with me as if that made their mistake ok. I explained that due to her behaviour inwould not be paying the fee and furthermore wont be using their service. Customer lost thanks to the very poor receptionist

Positive experience: There is an offer for new customers to have consultation and hygienist which I bought. All was well but there was no hygienist in sight. Instead they did a bit of a polish and what looked like a water flossing. All the stains I was hoping to get rid of are still there. :-(

The bundle session is a 45-minute appointment, which includes a dental check up and a hygiene session. While our hygienist strives to address mild staining during the cleaning process, the primary focus of the treatment is to remove plaque and tartar buildup for overall oral health. It is not specifically designed as a stain removal treatment.
For more effective stain removal, additional sessions or an Airflow treatment may be recommended, as these are better suited for addressing more stubborn stains. We would be happy to discuss these options with you to help achieve your desired results.

Negative experience: After having being booked weeks in advanced I was called to be told my appointments been cancelled with less than 24 hours notice so u was fine with this and asked for a new appointment they offered me one with a private dentist and I explained I wanted a nhs as previously booked, the receptionist then in an unprofessional way started to say I was not an nhs patient, I then said I was allowed to be booked and seen as nhs how can you now tell me I am private. So I said not to bother but to cancel my appointment. She then said that there are other dentists I said sure please book me in. I was given my new appointment ended the call and I was about to arrange the time off work and the phone rang and the same unprofessional receptionist called to say that I now can't have the new appointment I said why? They said there not available for that time I said can I have one with my original dentist, she then said she is away for 3 weeks. She said I can have another dentist (who is private) i said no thank you I would like an nhs, she then said it is a long waiting list, I said not to bother. I found this place to be rude unprofessional from the start. I joined by booking an emergency at the same dentist pre paid and had a call last minute to say my dentist is off sick, and to go to the Beckenham clinic which I did only to be seen by a dental nurse but paid the same price to see a dentist as an emergency patient. And all they did was look in my mouth to say looks infected ? I knew this already and I work in IT! Keep away as this place is all about making money and say no nhs places left and you need to go on a waiting list. Terrible experience I do not recommend the dentists at all steer clear.

The chislehurst branch Maze was brilliant I was running late instead of cancelling the appointment helped me to come in 10mins late and still meeting the appointment and the dentist was also flexible in accommodating me. Fantastic experience: Over the last few weeks I have had a few appointments with Anisha for initially a tooth abscess, and then a follow up for 2 fillings. Given that this was my first ever filling, I was rather nervous and uneasy, however, Anisha was extremely professional and exceptionally calming, and took the time to explain everything which was going on, which was very reassuring. Fantastic experience: I have been registered with Smile 4 U for 8 years and have been very happy with the service. Over the last 18 months following an accident I have required relatively major dental work after trauma which has been carried out with professionalism and kindness. Dr Mori has been fantastic throughout demonstrating not only her high level of technical skill but showing compassion and understanding at every step. The reception team always greet me with warmth, handle all my queries quickly and I feel they genuinely care. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend. The receptionist is a pleasure to deal with. My dentist Dr Klaudia put me at east and hygienist Tracey was also lovely. Update - my children have also now seen Dr Hasan, who was absolutely amazing with them. He listen to me with great patience and then examined my teeth and explained to me in great details the management plan. Positive experience: Overall, I am happy with the treatment that I have been provided with at this clinic, however the constant reminder of a single missed appointment when calling to book an appointment is becoming repetitive and unwelcoming. Over the past year, I have spent a lot of money at this clinic and have put a lot of trust in them with my teeth. It has now reached the point that calling up the clinic and speaking to certain receptionists, is starting to make me feel uncomfortable and is making me consider moving dentist’s, as I’m getting sick and tired of the constant complaint over my attendance history. I think this is a real shame as most of the staff are lovely and that the treatment they provide is of good standard.

Fantastic experience: Loved my experience at Smile 4 u. Joddie was really friendly and ensured i was welcome into the practice. She also took the time to explain the forms and checked all the details were correct. Dr Hasan was great, really friendly , excellent dentist. Took his time to examine and explain the findings on examination and the imaging. He also made sure the follow up plan was clear. He was really patient and i felt prioritised patient care.

His extraction today, performed by Dr Hasan, was managed flawlessly. Dr Hasan took the time to ensure both my son and I understood what was about to happen. Throughout the appointment his calm, caring and positive attitude supported my son in what could have been a very overwhelming situation for a young child. Thank you! As a family we regularly see Dr Mathu who always provides us excellent care with clear explanation and a smile. Thanks also go to the ever helpful reception team!
