Fantastic experience: I genuinely cannot recommend Natalie and the team at Caring Dental highly enough. When I had my first appointment just over a year ago, I was terrified of the dentist due to past negative experiences. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel completely at ease — so much so that I actually began to look forward to my visits! I decided to start Invisalign treatment and it's been life-changing. My grandad was my dentist for my whole life until recently (and a lot of other peoples in Petts Wood too) and he said I shouldn’t go anywhere but to Chris. Fantastic experience: We moved to Caring Dental as soon as it opened, in large part because we wanted to follow Cristelle, our amazing dental hygienist. She has been looking after us for many years, and I'd recommend her to everyone. She is such a caring lady with great hygienist skills, and like everyone at Caring Dental, her skills are kept up to date with the newest dental technology available.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to thank the whole team at Caring Dental for the level of care I was provided this week beginning 9 June 2025 even as I experienced the most severe toothache imaginable. What started as an ordinary ache became so unbearable that I called Caring Dental for an emergency appointment on Monday 9 June 2025. I was given a same day appointment and met with Dr. James (the founder), who was not only very professional but showed that he cared. After examining and carrying out an X-ray of my troubled tooth, he explained what my options were (one of which was to take the tooth off as the tooth had suffered a lot of bone loss and was badly infected). Following my reluctance to do this, He prescribed me some antibiotics and advised that I kept my pre-booked appointment with the other Dr. James (the root canal specialist). Dr. James was just as caring, professional and took his time to explain my options. Unfortunately for me, my pain became so bad that I had to book another emergency appointment on Wednesday 11 June 2025 with Caring Dental. Dr. Zahra and another caring nurse were on hand to do whatever they could to ease my pain. I was allowed to leave Caring Dental that day without being asked to make any payment for this second emergency appointment (due to the pain I was in) and to my surprise received an email from Dr. James (the founder) the evening of that day telling me that he was told about my various visits and the degree of pain I was in and had discussed this with Caring Dental’s oral surgeon. He mentioned that one of the lovely receptionists would give me a call the following morning to let me know when to go in for the extraction of the troubled tooth. True to his message, I received the call, was given a same day appointment on Thursday 12 June 2025 and was attended to by Dr. James (the founder). In spite of the pain and apprehension I felt, I was made to feel very comfortable during the extraction procedure (this included an opportunity to listen to one of my favourite gospel artists - Maverick City). The troubled tooth was removed and I left Caring Dental pain free and light weighted. Although I had been looked after with the same level of care by Dr. Charley and Katie (the nurse) due to my periodontal issues, Caring Dental went beyond their call of duty this week to rid me of the pain I was in. NB: Dr. James ( the founder) wrote off the payment I was supposed to make for my second emergency appointment - a rare and very kind gesture from an amazing practice! Fantastic experience: Our whole family has been going to Caring Dental for about 3 years now and we’ve had a great experience so far. Everyone on the team, from the front desk staff to the hygienists and Dr. Chris, is friendly and professional, and makes you feel well taken care of. The kids were a bit nervous at first (and so was my wife) but the team was incredibly patient and gentle, helping them feel comfortable and even relaxed during their visits. It's clear that everyone here feels part of the family business and really cares about their patients taking pride in their work. We’re really happy with the service and feel lucky to have found a dental office we can trust for the whole family in Petts Wood.

I can honestly say she makes you feel at ease immediately and has a brilliant manner especially with nervous patients such as myself. For any worry concern or question on treatment she makes you feel taken care of and always provides great advice. I reccomd anyone with gum health concern to have a conversation, you won't regret it. :)

Fantastic experience: Caring Dental is a thoroughly modern family dental practice based in Petts Wood, providing general and specialist dental services. Over the years they've supported me with various treatments (gum disease, implant advice, crowns etc), all on-site at the Petts Wood practice, which is super-convenient! The practice is well located in the heart of Petts Wood in a welcoming state-of-the-art facility which offers the very latest dental equipment. Chris (Dr. Chris Prange), the practice founder, has a great sense of humour and excellent bedside manner. He is always available to respond to emails or take a call if required and I always value and trust his advice. Heather and her front-of-house colleagues always greet with a smile and by first name and altogether it's a really great patient experience. Communications are excellent via telephone, email and online portal. The practice also has a social media presence which you can follow to keep in touch with them and see what they get up to in the community.

Fantastic experience: Chris and the whole team at Caring Dental are fantastic. After a bad experience with a previous dentist, I avoided checkups for years. When I finally saw Chris, he took the time to assess my case thoroughly and referred me to an expert for advice on teeth straightening and implants—despite being able to offer those services themselves. In my specific case, the expert was able to close the gap with braces, making an implant unnecessary. I really appreciated that every step of the way, the focus was on what was best for me—not what was most profitable. I can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: My first tooth extraction in my 60’s had me nervous as to what to expect! It was a difficult extraction as there wasn’t much tooth left but the root to remove. I have to say I didn’t feel a thing and Linda was careful and professional, slowly removing the tooth. Following that, there was only the slightest of discomfort the next day which quickly went away. As always he was careful and considerate and took time to ensure that I was comfortable before starting the dental work and kept checking that I was OK during the procedure. Like many other people I imagine, I get a bit anxious about visits to the dentist but I have to say that James and his colleagues at Caring Dental always make it as positive and comfortable an experience as possible. James has also recently carried out complex work on another tooth which has meant that I do not have to have the tooth extracted; for that I am extremely grateful.

Fantastic experience: From the reception team through to the practitioners, Caring Dental really do live up to their name. My wife has been using this practice since it opened however since we moved out the area, I chose someone more local. I had a problem which did not get resolved well and my wife persuaded me to use Caring. Have not looked back since. A special mention to the reception team, the most friendly and accommodating, I was even offered the use of their home car charger as there is not one in the area !

Positive experience: I recently visited Melisa for a teeth cleaning. I felt that the cleaning was not as thorough as what I was used to from my previous dentist, who unfortunately has returned to her home country. She seemed a bit rushed during the procedure and my teeth still has the yellow looking spots even though I paid extra for the airflow . I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future patients.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say how well the oral surgeon and all staff at caring dental took care of me for my tooth extraction recently. I'm not a patient of theirs but was referred for the extraction. I was dreading the procedure but they were so reassuring and could not have been happier with the extraction and aftercare.

Fantastic experience: Visited for my annual checkup today and was greeted with a warm welcome. The dentist, Chris, is great, very informative and always takes time to explain things. He doesn’t suggest work that is not needed unlike other dentists I have visited. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Caring Dental for the past three years and wanted to leave this review to highlight the excellent work of Chris and his team for the respect, care, attention to detail and treatment I have received from my very first appointment. From the excellent facilities to the lovely, helpful, welcoming and efficient receptionists, to the excellent work, care and patience of my Hygienist, Melissa, and to the treatment and advice received from Chris, my experience of 'going to the dentist' has changed massively. Since childhood (due to a number of very bad experiences) and throughout my adult life to date, I have always had a genuine fear of dentists and have really struggled to attend appointments due to my past memories, nerves and anxiety levels. Whilst still a little nervous before each appointment, I can honestly say that I do NOT fear attending for treatment and my anxiety levels have practically disappeared! Needless to say as a result of this, and the excellent quality of treatment received, my teeth and gum health have improved significantly and are the best they have been for many, many years. I really would like to thank Chris and all his team for the courtesy, respect, kindness and support given to me (and also to my husband and daughter). I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My adult son has mild learning difficulties and is petrified of the dentist, over the years this has been so stressful for me. So when he was told he had a tricky wisdom tooth to remove that our local dentist could not perform, I started my research. I found caring dental and so pleased I did, he was sedated and sailed through the whole process without a care in the world and VIP treatment! Fantastic experience: I've just completed my periodontal treatment appointment with Charlie, and can honestly say it was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had - seriously. I was a bit anxious about the treatment but Charlie took the time to fully explain the procedure and she has the most charming way of making the whole experience seem effortless. I'm not crazy about dental injections and my procedure required a few, but I can honestly say I never felt a thing throughout the whole procedure!!! It was amazing. I would absolutely 100% recommend Charlie if you need any specialist periodontal work and thank you to the whole team at Caring Dental for their professional, friendly and responsive service. From popping in to register through to a tooth extraction the whole experience was friendly, relaxing and professional with state of the art facilities. It’s not often you can lie back, cross your legs and relax in a dental chair! So if you’re thinking of re- registering you really should try Caring Dental first.
