Fantastic experience: The new dentist lady NK is a asset to ewood practice, she is very nice and she really puts you at ease, she is very good at her job and has made going to the dentist less scary, I'm very grateful to her and the service I receive, thank you.

She was so informative each step of the way about the treatments she was undertaking and made me as comfortable as could be while in the dentist's chair. Negative experience: Unfortunately , the hygienist I saw at my last visit wasn’t very friendly nor did she give me any advice on improving my oral health. When I reminded her that due to my MS, I suffer with vertigo and I can’t go too far backwards, she said she couldn’t clean my teeth properly as she’ll get a bad back!

Fantastic experience: I recently had to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed at Lancashire Dental. The care I received was excellent. The dental surgeon, Matthew Gormally, removed the tooth whilst I had conscious sedation. It was recommended for me as I was very nervous of the whole procedure. I should not have worried, as I don’t remember a thing about it. It’s magic! He had previously explained everything that was going to happen and listened to my concerns. Also the two dental nurses Wendy and Ellie were very supportive. Above all, kindness and patience was shown towards a very nervous patient, for which I am very grateful…

Fantastic experience: I've been registered with this dentist since a young age. The company has changed over the years however many of the staff are still the same and know their patients very well. Staff are lovely and are always very helpful. The team are also very good in emergency situations and go above and beyond to get you the right treatment.

Fantastic experience: I'm happy with the temporary filling and the prompt service I received following my request for treatment. I wasn't at all impressed with the attitude of the dentist who carried out the treatment. I found him to be quite aloof and surley.

Fantastic experience: Been with Ewood Dental Surgery for many years. Most recently needed to be seen urgently for ongoing pain in my tooth. The surgery was able to triage me quickly , get me seen and ensure the problem was solved. A thorough assessment and intervention along with a follow up ensured the problem was rectified.

Positive experience: I like this clinic, my doctor Tomas is a professional and his assistant as well but I did cleaning teeth, and cleaning stones from teeth staff Adam she is no good at this, she gave me dirty glasses and after my teeth were not clean as usual after this.

Positive experience: Have attended this practice for many years, it is a friendly and professional dental practice. So far never had a problem. Can usually get emergency appointment if needed. However the Dentist I see has left the practice and I was only able to see the Hygienist, don't know when I will get my 6 month dental checkup, makes me wonder what I am paying for if the delay is prolonged especially as the fees have just increased.

Negative experience: Not the most customer focussed organisation.

Fantastic experience: Thorough Hygiene appointment with Joanne. Excellent care from Tomasz on 6 month check with the usual good support from Wendy. Friendly service as always from Kathryn on reception . They deserve 5 *. However, on waiting to make my next appointment, the behaviour of a young receptionist was unprofessional and unacceptable. Private dental treatment is very expensive and as such, the patient should not be able to hear name calling and childish slurs. I look forward to hearing from the Practice Manager.

Negative experience: Hygienist was great but unfortunately had to wait quite a time for the dentist. I am a type 1 diabetic and it was lunch time so I was not feeling well by the time I got into the room. I had been in the waiting room for 30mins and nobody went into or out of the room. I spoke to reception who were helpful and then I got my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Ewood House Dental Practice all my life. The staff have always been friendly and polite and any treatment required has been done with care and patience.

Fantastic experience: Extremely good and friendly service as always. I broke part of my tooth late on the evening of 23rd December, left a VM on the evening and rang at 8:30AM Christmas Eve. I was given an appointment 11:30AM on Christmas Eve. Everyone was very patient and friendly with me, from reception to Amber who resolved it so that I didn't struggle over the Christmas period. I arrived early and was seen within 5 minutes and issue resolved within about 20 minutes, with a follow up appointment also set for the New Year to check on my tooth. Thanks so much guys.

I have seen many changes of staff and a change of venue over the years but have always found the level of care and service to be of the very highest standard. Alex and his dental nurse are kind, reassuring and friendly and all the reception staff are efficient and welcoming. My dental health is in safe hands.

Fantastic experience: After loosing a couple of teeth over the years, I have recently had them replaced with implants. Lancashire Dental had been well recommended to me and the whole treatment was well explained and carried out very professionally. I was initially a little anxious about having the titanium posts screwed into the bone, however the process is painless, done with great precision, and I am extremely pleased with the results. The new implants look, feel and perform great. I will have no hesitation in coming back for further treatment as my real teeth wear out and I wish to thank Mathew, Tomasz and Wendy for their superb work.

Negative experience: Joined few weeks ago as new patient at Ewood clinic, being told full examination & check-up & x-ray covered by new customer fee £60. Upon attending, dentist told can’t check implants as not qualified and need to see another dentist, for this we need to pay another £120 or so. Also told free x-ray doesn’t cover full mouth so need to pay x amount for this. Disappointed as I feel misled with full examination and x-ray claim when in fact there are hidden extra’s. Also why customers being asked to pay for another appointment if the allocated dentist can’t examine implants?

Positive experience: Displaced crown when in USA, difficult to get treatment, made appointment on very effective web site in US for when I returned to UK. Treatment completed satisfactorily on return.

Positive experience: Excellent dentistry. Just a shame you have to wait so long to get to see your dentist. Seems like too many patients not enough dentists. Wasn't like this in the early days when they first went to a predominantly private practice

Fantastic experience: Cannot begin to describe the fabulous professionalism and patience shown by Tomas, during a much dreaded root canal required on a capped tooth. Reassurance and gentle explanation of what was required and how the procedure would take place. I can honestly say it was painless, and without a problem. My pain has for the first time in 3 years now finally gone!! Both Tomas and Wendy were amazing.

Fantastic experience: I received excellent treatment and services from the Lancashire Dental practice, Ewood. I required dental implants supporting a bridge, to replace a 3 front teeth bridge, which was no longer viable after 20 years. All the team at the practice are amenable, thorough and professional, who give their best every day. The planned treatment and pathway of dental implants was fully explained by Matthew at every stage, which was very reassuring. Having full confidence in Matthew, Wendy and all the practitioners enabled me to approach the treatment with a positive frame of mind and minimal nerves!! The end result is an implant supporting bridge, which fits very comfortably and feels and looks like real teeth. Thank you and much appreciation to everyone who cared for me.

Negative experience: Great dentist unprofessional receptionist. Don't argue with her because your appointment will be changed, you won't be notified and you'll ne kicked off the books for a missed appointment. The only thing lancashire Dental has been bothered about is this review and the sole reason I recieved a call as they stated in the call.... the call happened a week before they replied adding a retrofitted PR spin... My dissabled partner who has been left in agonising pain since this surgery after being refered for treatment at another practice by lancashire Dental and the the ither practice have daid we need to take it up with lancashire Dental. Lancashire dental have now kicked her off the books and ignored her and not even contacted her. She has had to have treatment from the emergency dentist and had infection physically cut out and now needs to book in again as She's been unable to talk and eat properly since this happened due to the infection and inflamation. She now has missing teeth that she didn't have before. Lancashire dental are not interested.

Fantastic experience: Altaf and team have been amazing. Recently, I've had a number of issues with one tooth which had to be crowned and then another tooth cracked! I was slotted in very quickly and made to feel at ease as I was anxious having a tooth extracted. I have been coming to this dentist practice for 50 years since I was a child when it was Marsden & Mattison across the road and I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommended.

In complete agony after extraction three days prior, I rang for an appointment and was very grateful to be in within the hour. Negative experience: Been here for years. Absolutely appalled with my recent experience. I've paid a shocking price as it was for literally 2 10 min appointments. 7 weeks later I got a very basic email claiming the payments made was wrong and I paid too little. This was there error and making it look like I was in the wrong took them 7 weeks to realise. Will not be returning feel humiliated.
