Negative experience: I’ll single out Natalie, one of the receptionists, who goes above and beyond in her help and care. So thoughtful and caring. I’ll miss her as NHS treatment is being stopped. Not sure why this dentist cannot accommodate a percentage of NHS patients, when others do. Such a shame the partners have made that decision. 3/7/25 Editing to add my utter disappointment today. I visited EH as needed some urgent care to refit a bridge that EH had originally fitted, that had fallen out. (Not for the first time either). They refused to see me, unless I paid privately! Seems money really is more important!

Fantastic experience: I needed to change my Dentist and after some research I decided to go with Edward House - The receptionists are friendly and helpful - Usman the dentist is extremely pleasant and professional and so is the dental nurse Aimee - Usman explained clearly what dental work needed to done and the best procedure necessary - I had 2 replacement fillings 1 of which was cosmetic; he was gentle and made me feel at ease; altogether a positive experience and I am very satisfied with his work -

Fantastic experience: Im usually petrified of dentists to the point of shaking and nervous sweats. i cannot even begin to explain how professional and brilliant the staff, the procedure and the experience i had here was.From start to finish even stopping to check how I was doing during the procedure but i never felt a single thing from start to finish. Fantastic experience: I had my latest six-monthly check-up with Rebecca on 13-02-2024. This time, a couple of X-rays were taken and also a couple of minor interventions were suggested (for a future appointment). Rebecca has a most helpful manner and she approaches her work most conscientiously. Do keep up the excellent work at Edward House Dental Studios! I had a hygienist appointment with Anoushka on 4th June. She was extremely thorough and, although she said at the outset that my teeth weren't "bad at all", she still did her work most diligently and dispensed good advice about flossing and the importance of using an electric toothbrush and inter-dental brushes. I do these things, but not quite as often as I should. Anoushka was great! I had an appointment with Rebecca on 23rd July 2024. She wanted to do some work on three teeth which were not causing me any problems, but these interventions will protect the teeth for the future. (I like her forward-looking plan.) Rebecca has high-level professional expertise but she is also really friendly and most helpful, and she has great clarity in her explanations. In addition to all this, she has an abundance of entirely natural charm. I am SO fortunate that Rebecca is my dentist!

Fantastic experience: Duncan did a very good job yesterday in dealing with the cause of my tooth pain. He has a very calm and reassuring manner which is much appreciated. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant too and did their best to fit me in for an emergency appointment.

Positive experience: As always, my hygienist appointment with Maria was professional, pleasantly friendly and uncomplicated. No problems there. However, I was shocked by the increase in the cost of the service. Six months ago I paid £55.50 for my hygiene appointment, an increase of £5.50 compared to the previous appointment some 12 months ago. A 11% increase, quite high considering inflation. Yesterday I had to pay £65.00 for exactly the same procedure! A huge increase of some 17% on top of the previous 11% increase! How can this possibly be justified? The price has increased from £50 a year ago to £65 today - I’m afraid I shall be looking elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: I was extremely impressed with the service I received over Christmas. I broke a tooth on Boxing day, I phoned the practice on the first day they had reopened, the receptionist said that they did not have a dentist that was working that day, but if I was in any pain they would call one out. As the tooth was uncomfortable it was not causing me any undue pain so I declined the offer to call someone out. They made me an appointment for 9am on 2nd Jan, I saw Rebecca and by 09.10 she had sorted the tooth out with a temporary filling. Brilliant service.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of Duncan’s and this dental practice for many years. Had an old broken filling dealt with. Bookings are always on time without delays and I Find Duncan a great person as well as an excellent Dentist. Always got time to relax you as a customer and do the work to a high standard but also human and friendly. As an educated man his football team choice leaves a little to be desired but the dental work never does.

Knowing that when those inevitable, small but inconvenient tooth problems arise (such as losing part of an old filling) I will be offered a range of different times for an emergency appointment - some just hours after making my call - provides me with the reassurance that I have the best dental care possible.

Fantastic experience: A course of dental treatment to remove an abscess and a cyst - to include root canal work, tooth extraction, cyst removal, an implant and two crowns, to me was the stuff of nightmares! However, I was fortunate to be in the very safe hands of Clare and the team at Hedon and, at Beverley, Jason and Jaye. Everything was done with consummate skill in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The whole company have my highest recommendation and most grateful thanks for a job well done.This is a truly outstanding dental practice with an amazing team - very impressed!
