Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at this dental practice. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. Dr Karen and Dr Umair explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and handled everything with great care and precision. I was really impressed by how smoothly everything went and how attentive the team was during and after my appointment. Fantastic experience: I received excellent service this week from Dr Karen Sanderson who was very ably assisted by Umair. Dr Karen's extensive experience meant she was able to devise a clear treatment plan which she executed with great skill and good humour! I recommend her to others who have complex dental issues or who like me, are a bit scared of going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed today at The Dental Design Studio by Dr. Usman, and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had! I’ve had extractions done elsewhere before, and they were painful and uncomfortable. But today was completely different—Dr. Usman was incredibly gentle and professional. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure! The whole team made me feel at ease. Also, a big shoutout to the receptionist, Sam—she’s amazing and very kind. She makes me feel always so welcome and comfortable from the moment I arrive. Highly recommend Dr. Usman, Sam, and the entire team at The Dental Design Studio!

Fantastic experience: I have been having an ongoing issue and came in and met Dr Sally and nurse Shaniquia. I can honestly say that this is the best service I have had whilst visiting a dental practice. Having an ongoing issue for months. they listened to my problem, checked previous records, conducted a check up and carried out an xray. Updated me with a plan of action and followed up with a referral. Excellent service well recommended.

Negative experience: The worst place,before booking opg scan they do not informed you what you need to do before attending the appointment they just book you in take the payment and then you attend the appointment they said they can’t do,they make you Lose you work,your time,your wages Before you book to them make sure you get as much information and ask them to sent it by mail to you

Negative experience: Do not go to this dentist they don’t care about you.if you go for check ups etc don’t leave until a X-ray has been done. how can you go for check ups and a grey tooth is just seen and left. Then they telling you book another point to check the other side. All about sucking your money out of you .things get missed then you complain and all they do is avoid disgusting. this place was great it has really gone down hill under staffed and all about ticking boxes with no care in explaining most this place will do is tell you to go hygienist so please be aware before joining this dentist I have to now speak to my solicitor because I’m so Upset and also went for second opining from other dentist which told me to do the same my issue should have been avoided with the amount of times I see this place

Negative experience: The front desk staff were highly unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy when interacting with patients. Their communication was poor and created unnecessary frustration. If possible, I would recommend seeking services elsewhere to avoid similar issues.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Dental Design Studio after something of a ‘hiatus’ in receiving dental care. As such, I was expecting the worst and indeed the worst was confirmed. But unexpectedly I had an enjoyable visit nonetheless as the force of nature that is Dr Karen made for a unique experience. At the same time she gave me a clear assessment about the problems resulting from my grinding and what work might be best going forward for which I am grateful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Dr Karen for some months now, working on a TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issue, and there has been great improvement over that time. Dr Karen certainly knows her stuff and cares very much about her patients. She's sought out second opinions about my TMJ to back up her knowledge, in my case from Ifrah, as well as Dr Karen’s technician, Mitch. There’s also excellent assistance from nurses Umair and Monique. Such a professional, but relaxed, jolly atmosphere, it's a great all-round experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Karen is an exceptionally excellent and brilliant, I have moved from my former Dental surgeon when I had an emergency appointment with her. She's amazing, fast and knows what she's doing, the best customer service I have ever received and best treatment ever. She puts you at ease and is great with adults as well as children. Have I said before that she knows what she is doing!? I wish there were more dental surgeons like her. There's also Dr Fatima who was amazing with my child. He was nervous at first but her kindness and professionalism put him at ease as well. She referred him to an orthodontist after the assessment. Fantastic experience: I've had the best dental experience here at The Dental Design Studio in Walthamstow. After years of putting up with poor treatments and crappy service at what is now my former practice, I am over the moon that I've made the step to try a new practice and the results are better than I expected. Dr Karen and her assistant Umair possessed all the qualities that I would want in a dentist; she was patient, extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease from my first consultation till my last treatment which was today. Negative experience: Kimberly that answers the phone is a rude member of staff. Waited for 5 minutes because she put me on hold then hung up on me. Called back and expressed how that upset me and asked for an apology which ticked her off and she went on to patronise me by saying “I apologise, and I apologise behalf of all my colleagues and the dentist office is that good enough?” I told her to stop patronising me and let her know that this isn’t customer service at all. I’m now on hold again for 10 minutes just because she feels like it. All I want is to confirm when and what time my 6 year old child’s appointment is. Still waiting on the phone because of her absolutely rude attitude. I’m moving my daughter to another dentist that can actually treat people with respect. Negative experience: Subject: Dissatisfaction with Recent Hygiene Appointment Dear Dental Design Studio, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent hygiene appointment at your practice. This was the first time I have left a dentist appointment feeling unhappy, and I feel it’s important to bring the issues I experienced to your attention. Firstly, I was asked to assist the dentist during the cleaning process, which was not only uncomfortable but also unprofessional. I was left feeling like my role in the procedure was more involved than it should have been, affecting the quality of the service provided. As a result, some areas of my mouth still felt "weird" and were not thoroughly cleaned. In fact, there were stains that were not properly removed, which I found concerning. The entire appointment felt rushed, lasting only about 15-20 minutes, which is far shorter than the standard time I am used to. I have always left your practice feeling satisfied with the level of care and attention provided, but on this occasion, I felt that the service was inadequate. I would appreciate it if you could address this matter, as I expect a higher standard of care, especially when it comes to something as important as dental hygiene. Fantastic experience: I came in with a serious life threatening infection lower left wisdom teeth two weeks ago. Which was excruciating and i went to see 4 consultants even one at guys hospital who did nothing while i couldn't eat and the infection nearly went into my airway. Dr Karen and Umair were fantastic masters of their craft savants even in dentistry and came up with a solution on of cutting in my teeth and draining the puss and then doing a coronoctomy a week later as the tooth was on a nerve so very risky to remove and i had to clear the infection. They have been treating me well with care and precision and both them actually tried to help unlike some other dentists. I would recommend them 10/10.

Negative experience: No idea why on earth this dentist has so many good reviews, it’s a dated practice which to me doesn’t feel clean or clinical. Also the main dentist I saw was trying to sell me an expensive treatment which I didn’t need as I went for a second opinion.

Fantastic experience: Karen, the dentist at the Dental Studio, provided exceptional treatment from start to finish. Initially I started with emergency appointment with her, and she identified the issues straight away as I was having for long time. Her calming presence and unique character truly set her apart. I am extremely pleased with the bridge she placed recently. I would highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed with the Service and Conduct I had an extremely disappointing experience with this dental practice. My visits with Mrs. Sally Khurram have been unsatisfactory. On multiple occasions, she merely counted my children's teeth and declared them fine, without conducting a thorough examination. This was particularly concerning because one of my children had an infection that went unnoticed until it was too late. Moreover, I had a distressing experience when I asked to breastfeed my baby during an appointment. Mrs. Khurram instructed me to follow her upstairs with my baby still in the pram. To my shock, she attempted to tilt the buggy in a way that could have caused my baby to fall out. This incident left me extremely upset and concerned about her professionalism. In addition, I found Ms. Karen's conduct to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Her behavior towards ethnic patients, including myself, felt dismissive and condescending. She spends more time talking and making unkind remarks than actually attending to patients' needs. This lack of professionalism is alarming, especially in an NHS setting. I am very disappointed with the level of care and service provided at this practice and would not recommend it to others.

Fantastic experience: The crown came off my tooth on a flight from Limoges to UK, so I had to call for an emergency appointment first thing in the morning. I was impressed by the very helpful and polite receptionist who gave me an appointment for the same day, and I hoped it would bode well for the treatment. What can I say? Dr Karen and Nurse Mihaela were amazing. Fortunately, I still had the crown, so Dr Karen reattached it. She also treated a tooth that had been chipped a while ago as she was concerned about its integrity. I found her to be straight-talking and no nonsense, which is what I expect when dealing with professionals, but she’s also got a great sense of humour. The service from everyone I dealt with at the practice, from start to finish, was outstanding. I will be able to attend the writers’ festival at the weekend without worrying about a possible tooth infection. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dental Design Walthamstow for over 20 years, and Dr Karen has been my dentist for most of those - everything from check ups to inlays to root canals and extractions, always very well done. There are many things more fun than visiting a dentist, but for check ups and when it’s needed, I’ve had years of expert care from Dr Karen.

Fantastic experience: I had a lovely experience with Dr Karen and her team. I came in for my usual checkup however I always get anxious when needing to go to a dentist. upon entering I was welcomed by the people at the front desk with great respect and clear instructions and when I actually went through for my checkup i was greeted by a lovely Dr Karen who made my whole visit alot easier. She was so nice and welcoming and that made me so much more comfortable despite being quite anxious for the checkup. Her checkup was clear and thorough and her team member was also very helpful as well. After switching from my other dentist due to its closure, I was always worried I wouldn't find another good one however the dental design studio definitely exceeded expectations. Would definitely recommend and special thanks to Dr Karen who made my visit so much easier.

Negative experience: AVOID!!!! Visiting Dr Karen Saunders after someone I know had been referred for an emergency treatment. Seeing the way she treated the patient without any remorse to their pain and refused to acknowledge the patient plea that the pain was getting too much and carried on aggressively working on the patients mouth without any care. Also Whilst she was operating on the patient who was laying on the dentist chair all the way down, she aggressively shouted at the patient to swallow when the patient was CHOCKING on their blood and saliva as she did not put in the suction pipe in the first place. it was very traumatic to see. Dr Karen Saunders also made racist remarks and also belittles the nurse that works with her. This was a very disturbing experience and I would avoid this dentist at alll costs! She takes full advantage of patients who are most vulnerable and in need of emergency care. Not sure how she has qualified as a dentist and definitely needs to be investigated by the authorities. She also treats private patients with better care than those on the NHS. please avoid this dentist practitioner and practice if you do not want to be traumatised.

Negative experience: UPDATE - 1/6/24 Having seen the laughable comment from the practice, refuting the comments made in my initial review, I stand by them 100%. The awful dentist who manages this practice, or 'lead practitioner' as she introduced herself to me, is a toxic and nasty, passive/aggressive individual whose sole aim is to extract money from emergency patients who don't know any better. Swerve this horrible dental practice as the Care Quality Commission recommended in their most recent inspection of 27/5/22, details of which are attached. Awful experience at this practice after being referred via 111 for tooth pain. The whole setup feels like a racket and the receptionist's main aim is to elicit payment and rush as many emergency referrals through as possible on a Saturday, as I experienced first hand. I waited less than 4 minutes, completing a form in the process, whilst a gentleman in a wheelchair was seen. Showing a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for patient confidentiality, the door to the treatment room was wide open so anyone sitting in the large waiting room could hear every word. The patient left and soon after I could hear the dentist, who is a dead ringer for Hyacinth Bucket from Keeping up Appearances and just as snooty, making sneering comments, speculating as to whether or not the patient was homeless and that the Council should be doing more, as well as about his alleged odour. This rudeness about the previous patient continued as I entered the treatment room and she apologised for a non-existent smell which she presumed the man had left behind, although as I told her, there was none. I was not made to feel comfortable at all when asked to lie down, by either the nurse / receptionist or the dentist. After reading my form in front me, the dentist looked at my teeth for less than 10 seconds, I was told I had a gum infection and the hard sell began, as without explaining in any detail what the problem was, I was asked if I could afford private treatment, to which I said no, as I wished to register as an NHS patient. She told me nowhere was taking NHS patients, and persisted with the hard sell by telling me the price for a deep clean and dates for when she could book me in. When I said I wasn't interested in booking in an appointment now and simply wanted relief for my tooth pain, her attitude switched and she began to tell me, that as a smoker, my mouth was filthy, it was all my fault and my teeth would fall out if I did nothing about it, all of which is self-evident but still something to rant about it would seem. She stopped examining me and began to write out a prescription, for amoxicillin as it turned out. Whilst doing so, she asked me if I was OK to take 2 other medicines, neither of which I'd heard of, which I told her, to which she said she would have to give me amoxicillin due to poor information from me. I pulled her up on that, pointing out I am neither a pharmacist or dentist so shouldn't be expected to know the name of every drug. I said I felt she hadn't helped me at all, and as a parting shot, with her pomposity pricked but still at dangerously high levels, she claimed she had given me superb advice, which in truth was no different to what my GP could have told me and provided the same prescription, yet my time was wasted and I was charged £23.80 for the privilege. I would not recommend this practice to anyone after my mercifully brief visit, whether you are looking for treatment or especially if referred as an emergency patient, as I was. The reception area is cramped and run-down and the treatment room was grotty, the irony of which wasn't lost on me as the passive / aggressive dentist attempted to shame me for the state of my teeth, presumably still upset at having not been able follow up on my appointment with a more expensive booking? Lastly, I would call into question the number of 5 star reviews for this practice from reviewers with 1 review, a telltale sign that many of them may be paid for or fake.

Negative experience: My mum had the worst experience at this dentist. The dentist was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. The treatment was also poor, no x-rays were taken to see what the cause of her extreme pain might be and no proper treatment was given.

Fantastic experience: After almost a year of excruciating pain to my back tooth I am finally pain free thanks to Dr Karen and her professionalism! My root canal treatment was out of Dr Karen’s remit therefore I was referred to the Dental hospital in White chapel, where I had two separate visits, and they did an excellent job after which I was then referred back to Dr Karen to cap the tooth this process was so easy and pain free. I have always had a massive fear for the dentist but Dr Karen, with her Whitty humour makes my visit better, in addition the dental assistants are always very polite and professional.

Negative experience: I’m totally not happy with doctor.She need to explain properly while I ask to her I have soo much pain and I already check another doctor 6 month before that time my one teeth was not good but the second teeth was also damage which was showing in x-ray. So I ask to her we need to take X-ray then we can go ahead.But unfortunately she said don’t tell me my job.I know what me need to do. I didn’t recommend to anyone for this dentist.very bad experience

Negative experience: My partner recently had an emergency appointment with Dr Sanderson due to a loose bracket in her braces. Whilst I appreciate she isn't an Orthodontist, she offered assistance on helping my partner with the loose bracket. Unfortunately due to the sheer rudeness and unprofessionalism she presented to my partner, she was left upset and completely unsatisfied with the treatment received. My partner has written a formal complaint directly to the dental practice in hopes of receiving an apology. However, I feel this must be addressed not only to employees within the practice, but to other potential patients considering this practice. I would not recommend this firm at all!

Fantastic experience: Dental design studio was my first dental practice when I was a younger and I must say it wasn’t the best practice to go to even back then. I went there recently as an emergency patient after calling 111 and was sent a same day appointment. I arrived within the hour of booking the emergency and was seen about 30 mins after arriving which honestly the wait is understandable as the practice seems to have a lot of emergency appointments booked in so to be seen straight away is a little unlikely and although I was in pain I could clearly see others were to so I took that into consideration. I then saw Dr Karen who was lovely, funny, patient and informative. She took an OPG and explained exactly what she saw, gave me antibiotics which worked like a charm, referred me to Kerry the hygienist and called me back within a few days to check on me. I informed her I had pervious x-rays done recently at another practice and she advised I carried them to the check up appointment. Kerry the hygienist was lovely! I’m usually very sensitive with the water pressure from the ultrasonic scaler at hygiene appointments but with Kerry it was so refreshing to not have any jump-scare out of the chair. She was truly brilliant and attentive. On my call back appointment Dr Karen started on repairing the tooth I had the problem with as the X-rays I had brought showed further damage. An injection was needed and I was NOT looking forward to it but when I say I felt NOTHING, not even a pinch. My whole experience changed the way I look at NHS dentistry. I could not praise Dr Karen enough and I am truly happy with the care I have received.

Negative experience: Dr Karen was the worst dentist ever, she is unprofessional and inhumane. I would hate for anyone else to be treated by her, as her lack of professionalism and care was below the bare minimum. I will be contacting my solicitor to take this further!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Karen is the best dentist I’ve ever had. Making me feel at ease through both appointments and taking my wisdom tooth out with in a couple minutes. Fantastic experience: I recently went as an emergency patient due to having a tooth ache. I’m an extremely nervous patient who hadn’t been to the dentist for years. Upon arrival I was seen by the kind receptionists and then taken in by the dentist; Karen, She was really kind and gentle, she gave me a x-ray and antibiotics to clear my infection and explained to me I had to get an extraction and hygiene clean, she booked me in the next week. The session of the clean with a hygienist was comfortable and the extractions were really easy and not painful at all as Karen kept me calm and really knows what she is doing. The nurses are also very kind and calming. I couldn’t recommend Dr Karen enough, I’ve finally found a great dentist!

Negative experience: I had a really bad experience with Dr Sanderson and the receptionist. Emergency appointment after my tooth broke, they insisted to give me the first slot in the morning even tough I told then it was convenient for me. I accepted the appointment because I was in pain and they left mr no choice with that time. Was there on time, the dentist came in more than 1h late- no apologies. The first thing she asks me is why are you wearing a perfume, I don't like it. Then she move on telling me off because I don't have a dentist, not answering my questions. Very bad experience. The receptionist said if I am unhappy I could just leave. No professionalim.

Fantastic experience: I am now no longer afraid of the dentist! I've avoided them to the point where my wisdom tooth got painful enough to force me to a dentist. I need not have worried. Karen made me feel at ease and removed the tooth with no pain! I now have a dentist I can trust.

We have been living in this country for four years, and in all this time, we have never encountered someone as dedicated, attentive, and friendly as Dr. Sanderson. Fantastic experience: After seeing 2 different dental practices for ongoing flare ups and infections due to impacted wisdom tooth , fed up of being in pain and ongoing NHS waiting list I decided to go private. Was seen by the very experienced Dr Karen who put me at ease from the beginning as specialised in this type of wisdom tooth extraction. Dr Karen could see I was nervous but was absolutely great in explaining everything. Hardly felt anything and was over quicker than I expected. Gave me excellent advice on the after care and I was completely back to normal pain free , eating properly in one and half weeks. Thank you to all the staff at the practice, all very pprofessional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Having been in excruciating pain for 3 days due to complications resulting from the extraction of my wisdom teeth, I was given an emergency appointment to see Dr Karen. She knew exactly what was wrong and relieved me of my pain almost immediately. She was warm, professional and comforting. We even enjoyed a lovely chat! I have not always had a great time with dentists over the years but Dr Karen and Monique were amazing, will put you at ease and both were very skillful dentists. Fantastic experience: Last Saturday evening, I needed emergency dental work and was referred to the Dental Design Studio by 111. After only a short wait, I was treated by a dentist named Ibrahim. I do not exaggerate when I say he was the best dentist I've ever met. Not only was he very kind and considerate of me as a patient, but he treated his colleagues the exact same way. If the world was full of Ibrahims, no-one would be afraid of the dentist. Whatever they're paying him, it's not enough.

Fantastic experience: I had the lovely DR Karen today , she fully understood my neck procedure and what to look for . Thorough check , antibiotics and made me laugh throughout being in the chair. This is not easy as I am so petrified of the dentist. Yes Karen Im scardy cat lol. Any way this Dr needs keeping shes an asset to your practice.

Negative experience: It is a shame I have to give one star. Where do I begin with this practice. Dr Karen Saunders previously butchered my tooth badly, put a crown on and I nearly died with the infection that formed underneath it. Now Dr Khurram (they call Sally) put a perfect crown back so skew my bite has been off for three weeks. I now need that crown destroyed too and all works privately carried out. Impacting my well-being and finances. Please avoid this place like the plague. They had great dentists in the past, but they can’t keep hold of them.

Negative experience: A complete JOKE!!! Booked an emergency appointment for 2pm (opens at 2pm) arrived 10 minutes early and waited for the clinic to open. Assuming I was one of the first patients I then came in at 2 and waited, at 2:30 I find out the dentist has decided to take a break and is on lunch or a break whilst fully aware she has a patient waiting. I ask the receptionist at 2:30 why the wait is so long and she apologised and said 5 minutes, I’ve then gone back at 2::40 as I have only paid for 1 hour parking and she says she was delayed and still having lunch and maybe another 5-10 minutes? What level of proffesionalism is this? Waiting for almost an hour while in agony from my tooth is ridiculous! If you know you have a patient waiting why on earth would you be taking an hour break when there is no one visibly waiting after me either? No apology at all for her being so late and my appointment was literally no more than 5 minutes, so I could have been seen at any given time! Also no sink in the dental room or able to spit after having mouth injected due to ‘COVID’??? I’ve never heard this and have regularly visited my own dentist since covid and have always been able to spit and they have a dental sink for patients, I felt sick and wanted to vomit from whatever was put in my mouth I was then given two plastic cups to swirl water and spit into the other cup.. very bizarre, never heard of not being unable to spit excess water or blood at dentists appointment due to COVID yet perfectly able to breath in each others faces and having my mouth examined whilst breathing directly at the dentist… abit of a contradiction..

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice via the NHS 111 Emergency service and I have to say, I was so impressed with how professional the staff are, they were all so friendly and dealt with me swiftly. I was met with Dr Ibrahim who in my opinion is the best dentist I have ever visited (and I have been in and out of different dentist practices over the last two years due to toothache issues from being pregnant). Dr Ibrahim performed a root canal, he was so gentle and made me feel so at ease, he performed the root canal efficiently and ensured I was comfortable, he was informative about the procedure and aftercare and advised on next steps without rushing through. I was so impressed with him, I requested to see him again to finish off my root canal treatment but unfortunately he’s based at this practice only for emergencies and I am gutted I didn’t ask where he is based permanently as I would go out of my way to have him treat me again, that’s how good he was! Dr Ibrahim was patient with me during the procedure as I was in a lot of pain due to a severe infection of my nerves, he allowed me to catch my breath during the procedure and patiently allowed me to scream/ tear up. He did not rush or tell me off or blame me for having toothache issues which I have dealt with in the past by NHS dentists! The assistant was great too! Fantastic experience: After long time, I decided to do the big step and improve my teeth, so I decide a random dentist in Whalthamstow. I wasn't aware about I was going to meet the best dentist I have ever meet in my life so far. Since I meet Dr. KAREN she was super lovely with me and making my dental experience as painless as possible. Negative experience: Worst dentist I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. My son has been messed around so much for the last 18 months. Unmanageable, delayed appointments, rude staff, misadvised on treatments and accidentally prescribed penicillin when he is allergic. Absolutely shocking. **Update, my son had to go to an emergency out of hours dentist as his tooth has become infected after a VERY BAD root canal was done only a couple of months ago** absolutely disgusted and a certain aggressive bullying argumentative dentist at this practice should be struck off!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment through 111. The Dental Design Studio is not my usual dentist. I had an extremely swollen gum, infection which was very inflamed and painful. I was seen by dental surgeon Dr Karen and dental nurse Monique. Dr Karen was so competent and compassionate, gave me good advice about my dental health and best way for my dental health going forward, after the dental surgery procedure. I felt no huge pain. Nurse Monique was so caring and calming. I left the dental room feeling so reassured. My healing has been good and speedy. Thank you so very much.

Fantastic experience: I had an extremely painful tooth and Dr Karen Sanderson went above and beyond to help me. Not only did I find her a an exceptional clinician but she was also very human and compassionate (which I think sometimes is underestimated how important these features are for the patient). Negative experience: This Studio is really a scam, don't fall into good review written here like I did. You will check the review and find all the positive review especially about person called Karen, beleive me, it is all asked for. I have visited and they treated me very bad, I wrote a bad review about the clinic, they called me and asked literary to remove it and write good one which I did as I needed to follow my sessions there from the first one. I went back there and spent more then £170, and at the end to get a referal to another clicnic, which they ignored me at all. My situation was crucial and needed treatement urgently, but they did not care and i lost my tooth since they ignored me for more then two months. I even met the doctor Karen once outside and asked her for my treatement, she did not even stop to talk to me like they do not care at all about the person. Negative experience: Very poor experience. I had a very enthusiastic consultation with their private dentist, followed by scans. Enthusiastic because they were fast to take money from me, but then never followed up with a treatment plan, or anything for that matter. I proceeded to email and call them for months but got no response, very frustrating as their phone system does not allow you to wait in a queue, it always cuts you off or forces an answer phone message which is never replied to. I honestly think this dentist is a scammer and have seen little evidence to prove otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Was sent there for an emergency appointment on a Sunday. Didn't catch the dentists name (but looks like it could be Dr. Karen), she was super nice. But yeah they should probably add a door between the waiting area and the operating room or just leave everyone to wait downstairs as the space is tight upstairs.

Fantastic experience: Dr Karen has been absolutely incredible. Having previous bad experiences of dentists, as well as ADHD, I was extremely nervous and struggle at dentist appointments. Fantastic experience: I have had a very pleasant experience with Karen. I am usually very wary of coming to the dentist. Karen made me feel very relaxed and put me to ease. Fantastic experience: Never been a fan of dentists due to past experience. Excruciating pain caused by a wisdom tooth and the adjoining tooth had broken. After calling NHS 111 I got an appointment to see Dr Karen. Fearfully and nervous Karen calmed me, after a course of antibiotics I ventured back for extraction. Negative experience: Horrible service. I was referred by the emergency 111 service. My initial appointment with the dentist was fine and she was lovely. But the staff, especially receptionists seem to be working sooo hard they have no time to treat you as a human. I understand the NHS is struggling but it seems those who work FOR the NHS seem to now think they ARE the NHS. They are normal human beings who ALSO USE the NHS but choose to act like arrogant peasants when at their place of work. I have been waiting for a referral to be sent from the dentist to an Oral Surgeon. I am in immense pain and my mouth has now started to swole. For the past 2 days, everytime I called they insisted it has been sent without even bothering to check with the dentist if mybe something has gone wrong. 2 days later still no referral sent, so i decided to come in and maybe I'll be able to get it sorted as the only etiquette they know on the phone is to dismiss your claims and insist they are right. I turn up and I'm greeted by a receptionist I have never seen before who is even worse than the others. She wouldn't even let me finish my sentences. I will now have to contact 111 AGAIN and book another appointment with a dentist who might just do their job and let me be seen by PROFESSIONALS. All in All, worst experience in my life all due to the receptionists. If only 0 stars was an option.

Fantastic experience: What can I say, Karen you are wonderful you really are. Karen has been my dentist for a good while now and it has always been a pleasure to see her, this is not the usual reaction when you visit a dentist! - she's caring, considerate, good humoured and really knows her stuff. Above all though, Karen helped in such a big way with my son Joel, firstly by noticing he had an incredibly rare dental issue (something that could easily have gone unnoticed) and then fast tracking him to GOSH surgery.
