Fantastic experience: Great dentist practise! Team is helpful and kind and Iris is the best hygienist I ever had!

Fantastic experience: I had a periodic NHS dental check this morning with Dr. Romi Gupta. I have been a satisfied patient with the practice for many years, but I was particularly impressed by the care and thoroughness with which the check-up was done today. Dr. Gupta not only took the time to carry through the check in a thorough way, but also talked me clearly through all the options that I had for any further treatment without in any way trying to persuade or pressurise me. Very happy with the session.

On my last visit I saw one of the hygienists, Roxana who was amazing, my teeth have never felt so clean, as I have sensitive teeth she took every care to make sure I was comfortable throughout. My dentist Dr Puri is also amazing and makes a trip to the dentist a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Every hygienist I’ve seen has been excellent, so I never have to worry about who I get an appointment with. Dr. Vinay Puri has been our family dentist, and he is simply outstanding—not only highly skilled but also warm and friendly. My daughter absolutely loves coming here, which says a lot! Fantastic experience: I've been going to Park Avenue Dental Care since I was a child and have never had an issue. I've seen Dr Lakhanpaul and the hygienist who have been great throughout all of my dental treatment. The entire team were very helpful when I had some dental trauma a few years ago. Also, the reception staff are always lovely!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience during an emergency visit. Despite being in significant pain, there was no real attempt to relieve my discomfort. Instead, most of the time was spent talking and inspecting my teeth, with no practical treatment provided. I was charged £80 for the emergency appointment, which did not include even a single X-ray. On top of that, I was charged for a prescription that I was later advised not to use, as it was for an infection, whereas I was actually dealing with inflammation. In total, I left £130 out of pocket without any improvement in my condition. The dentist seemed more focused on cataloguing my teeth for future treatment rather than addressing the immediate issue. I was then told to book another appointment—presumably to go through the same process again. What’s more frustrating is the push toward expensive private treatments. The dentist spent considerable time trying to convince me to opt for a £1,000 root canal, even after acknowledging that there was only a 50/50 chance of saving the tooth and that an NHS option was available for £78. I explained why such a high cost wasn’t justifiable in my case, yet the sales pitch continued.

Fantastic experience: Dr Taylor was so wonderful, reassuring, friendly and thoughtful. I have adhd & autism and was embarrassed about not going to the dentist in a few years, and he was non-judgemental, helpful and validating. The practice was very clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend !!

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous at the prospect of having a tooth out. Dr McArdle immediately put me at ease and the process was quicker than I had expected. I had no pain and very little discomfort. In fact I felt a little ashamed at how terrified I had felt. Since my visit three days ago I have had no pain, hardly any bleeding and was back to normal the next day. I cannot stress enough how great he was, and how excellent his chairside manner.

Fantastic experience: I have been at this practice for 15 years. I travel 1hr because I trust them. Unlike many dentists they don't do unnecessary work to increase revenue. They are conservative in treatment but all treatment is high quality. All my family come here and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I use Dr Gupta my husband uses another dentist at the practice.

Having spent years avoiding dentists due to upsetting previous experiences, I was hesitant to visit again even for a check up. The staff here put me at ease and are empathetic about my nervousness. Negative experience: Been with this practice for over 30 years and due to 2 missed appointments they have unregistered me from the practice. I am registered disabled and due to my condition wasn’t able to attend the last appointment and they were informed. It’s a disgrace how they have treated me.

Fantastic experience: First time here, had to come in for an emergency treatment (cracked tooth) receptionists were helpful, and I was seen 1 hour after calling. Treatment was painless, and the dentist talked me through each part of the exam and treatment as well as any costs involved. A great surgery!
