Fantastic experience: I want to leave the most positive review I can regarding my recent 2 visits to see Katie Bott (Hygienist) at East Park Dental. Personally I have always been petrified of Dentistry having had really traumatic experiences as a child, and which have remained with me all my life (and with the Hygienist side in particular, given I have extremely sensitive teeth). Katie was exceptional - the first to 100% understood my fear and phobia, and the degree of sensitivity my teeth have. She put me a ease, was kind and gentle, and adapted my treatment to suit me, and I had hardly felt any discomfort on either of my two visits...I am so grateful to her for that. She has my total trust, and made a patient for life...!

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment this morning which I wasn’t looking forward to, as not a huge fan of going to the dentist. I was greeted with a smile and the lady on reception was very polite and friendly. I waited upstairs feeling very apprehensive. Once in the dentist’s chair I was told exactly what was going to happen. The dentist and both assistants were brilliant. I left feeling a lot different than when I went in. I have two more appointments booked and I’m feeling happy about them. A great experience.

Fantastic experience: All staff are very professional so I always feel very confident about the treatment I am receiving. They combine this with warmth and genuine friendliness!

Positive experience: Three quarters of the way through my teeth clean with the hygienist the machine overheated and stopped working, which was disappointing. At the end of the clean I wasn’t offered a mirror to check the work carried out. My dentist check up was very thorough. I was given good advice moving forward and reassured that I can ring any time I have an issue with my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I have just returned from an appointment with hygienist Kate. This is the first appointment since Coronavirus lockdown was imposed. I was nervous about visiting as my husband is shielded but the steps they have implemented to keep their customers and themselves safe is second to none....my worries were soon alleviated. As always, Kate was great, putting me at ease...chatty, pleasant and above all excellent at what she does - even though what she could do was restricted

Fantastic experience: I recently had to have a temporary crown fitted. Having not had any treatment for over 30 years I was slightly worried but need not have been. My dentist Gurvinder and his assistant were extremely professional, explaining my treatment as it went on. Treating me with kindness the whole way through the procedure. I can now eat on both sides of my mouth while previously I had a lot of pain. I am now looking forward to getting my permanent crown. Thank you East Park Dental.

Negative experience: Recently had a filling , £200 didn't solve the problem, so had root canal £700 still infection in tooth . Was told today need another root canal in same tooth , another £700 , won't guarantee work, so in the end might have tooth out , surely shouldn't have to pay for 2nd root canal , have been with this dentist for over 40 years , was took over about 7 years ago , will be moving after recent work, shame used to be great , no more. And i won't be having repeat root canal operation there as no confidence any more. Let alone paying twice for the same operation .

Fantastic experience: I have had excellent treatment for many years, most recently for root canal work. Jo takes time to explain options in an unhurried way, and to achieve the best result possible. When I needed an extra appointment I was seen the same day. February 2020 Excellent attention and advice as always. August 2021. I have absolute faith in this practice. Friendly, efficient and totally professional. Jo takes time to get the best result. July 2023 Once again nothing but praise. Jo has extremely high standards and takes time to achieve the best result. Fantastic experience: Another pleasant visit to the dentist where both Dentist and Hygienist were professional, friendly and took trouble to explain the state of my teeth and the care required. A very capable team and definitely to be recommended - and that is speaking with the experience of dentists across 4 continents.

Negative experience: Dental Appt cancelled an hr before it was due & I live 25mins away. I could of better used a wasted afternoon for work. The hygiene appt did go ahead but that's 2 trips into Northampton rather than one. Poor organisation in notifying patients

Fantastic experience: No-one likes an extraction but Ria made the whole process easy and pain-free. Both the administration of anaesthetic and the extraction were done smoothly and professionally which meant it was all over quickly and I didn't feel a thing. Thank you Ria!

Fantastic experience: The pre arrival was smooth, and I completed all health checks before arriving. I was impressed with the hygienist, she was careful and caring. Sometimes I get pain as my gums are sensitive, but she was very careful. Chris is the best dentist I have ever had, and I appreciate his advice.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous when it comes to dental treatment and have a very active gag reflex that adds to my anxiety. I had a 90 minute appointment to prepare for the fitting of a crown and was very impressed with the adaptations that Rakhee made to ensure I was able to complete the required treatment. With her assistant they adjusted the process and tools used so I could tolerate them and used distraction exercises to help me through. While I can't say I enjoyed the experience they made me comfortable and I have no fears ( although a little apprehension ) about returning for final fitting.

Negative experience: I was attending a hygenist appointment. I was waiting for a bit but not long. I did not find it the best experience. My cheek was prodded a few times and currently painful the day after. The hygenist apologised. My teeth hurt that evening. Perhaps she was just very thorough. The whole appointment was uncomfortable and previously it has been ok.

Fantastic experience: Chris has been a fantastic dentist. He's been looking after me now for a few years. He really puts me at ease and has a great sense of humour. I'm moving out of the area but will be staying with East Park Dental. The extra travel is well worth the quality of treatment.

The receptionist heard how much pain I was in and moved up my original appointment so I got seen the very next day. The dentist, the lovely Ria, was so kind - she truly saw my pain and treated me there and then. She was quick, professional and genuinely caring, and she made my pain completely disappear. Fantastic experience: Visited EPD and had the preparation done for an onlay to be fitted later this month. My dentist (Ria Shah) was very informative all the way through the procedure. First time I have had the “blue sheet” used to shield my tongue from getting in the way, wow a “game changer”. It felt very odd at first I must admit. But within seconds I realised I could breathe fine, and more importantly I wasn’t going to be suffocated by the thing, it was so much better than usual. No constant swallowing or having to open and close my mouth, all that usual mess was above the blue sheet and easily mopped up by the lovely assistant. Pleasant visit again. Another positive review will follow the onlay final procedure if successful - and if this temporary filling holds out until the end of the month.
