Positive experience: My daughter is currently undergoing orthodontic treatment here, and overall I’m very happy with the care she’s receiving. The orthodontists and clinical staff have all been absolutely lovely—professional, kind, and clearly dedicated to making sure patients feel comfortable and supported. We’ve been really pleased with her progress so far. However, I do feel the need to mention one recurring issue that really takes away from an otherwise great experience: one of the receptionists. There are two, but unfortunately, I always seem to end up dealing with the same one—and she is consistently rude, both to patients and even other staff. She comes across as unprofessional and unapproachable, and arranging appointments with her feels unnecessarily stressful. I’ve since read other reviews that mention similar experiences, so I know I’m not the only one who’s noticed this. It’s such a shame because the rest of the team is fantastic, but this one staff member really lets the practice down. I hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously—it would make a big difference to the overall experience.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding Orthodontic Care from Ms. Pam Thakral and Team: My son completed his braces journey a few months ago but unfortunately I found the time to write the review now. Our experience with Ms. Pam Thakral has been nothing short of excellent. She is an extremely experienced and friendly orthodontist, making the entire braces journey much smoother for my son. Though the process is long and requires patience, her exceptional care and expertise kept my son comfortable and motivated throughout. The receptionists are always helpful and do their best to accommodate appointment requests, even though finding slots outside school hours was sometimes challenging due to high demand. Despite this, they always tried their best—whether by following up with calls or finding alternative solutions—which we truly appreciated. Occasionally, booking appointments well in advance was tricky as the doctor’s schedule wasn’t always available, but the team always found a way to make things work. Most importantly, my son is very happy with the results—his teeth look fantastic, and we couldn’t be more grateful! I even considered bringing them chocolates as a small token of appreciation but hesitated, given they are dentists. Regardless, I sincerely thank Ms. Thakral and her wonderful team for their dedication and care. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I decided to get my teeth straightened to improve my smile . I had the ceramic brace treatment over 18 months which meant I was at Angle House Every 4 to 6 weeks during that time. The receptionists led by Divya made me feel welcome . It is a busy surgery but they seem to remember everyone and greet you with a smile. On a few occasions I had to change my appointment due to work commitments , they were accomodating and helpful. Dr Popat is an excellent orthodontist : He is patient , pays attention to detail and always pleasant.Thank you to all the team :My teeth look great now .

Negative experience: It’s such a shame to the establishment to get a low review considering the orthodontists and the assistants are so sweet. The only reason why I am giving such a low review is due to the receptionists, who treat you as sub-human. I understand that being a receptionist can be quite difficult, this doesn’t however serve as an excuse to treat patients so poorly. I wish it was a one-off thing but the fact it has happened consistently is the fact why I am placing this review. I truly hope that in the near future they fix their behaviour.

Fantastic experience: My daughter completed her Orthodontic treatment two weeks ago and we're so glad it's over. As we found out first hand that having braces is no picnic at all, there were a few hassles and inconveniences we had to face during her treatment. From the pain of dental extraction (due to over-crowdedness in her mouth), to developing blisters and mouth ulcers (which took nearly 3 weeks to heal - I had to bring her to our Dentist in case it gotten infected etc), to having restricted diet as she cannot eat hard, chewy or sticky food (sometimes food had to be tear or cut up into small pieces), to being taken in and out during school hours (or sometimes late for school), and my constant reminder to her, "Be careful when eating" (as she broke the wire once already) and "Don't forget to put your bands on" etc. This was truly a case of 'No pain, No gain' scenario. She was under treatment for approx one year and a half (removal braces first and then the fixed braces) and although this wasn't long compare to others, we were glad to have reached the end of this journey. We are extremely grateful for Dr Rahul Khiroya for managing my daughter's treatment. He was very helpful in a sense that he explained the procedure to us, gave the necessary advise we need and addressed any concerns we had. We were also glad that our Dentist referred us to this place as it's located conveniently for us. One of the reviewers here commented about the Reception staff being "stand offish". Whilst I don't disagree with this (because we often feel this vibe while we were there), there is a young lady from the Reception desk (who wears a headscarf, wish we knew her name), who is approachable and always spoke in a calm and pleasant manner to us. "Stand offish" aside, I noticed that the Reception staff are quite efficient in answering my email correspondence. (At least you can be assured your enquiries are not being ignored!) In addition, one of the Orthodontist assistants (I think her name is Rae?), who we met right from the beginning of my daughter's treatment stage was also nice. My daughter was quite tearful after finding out she'd have to wear removal braces first because she thought it would be 'ugly'. So Rae noticed that my daughter was in tears and she stopped in her track to check up on the matter and then gave her some reassurance that it won't be as bad as she thinks it is and even showed my daughter what it looks like from the website. My daughter then felt a bit better after that. I thought it was nice of Rae to do that despite of her busy schedules. Another thing I noticed the first time we set foot into their office was space, it's pretty spacious with enough seats around, and its clean and tidy too. It makes waiting time feel a lot more comfortable (not that we have to wait that long because our Orthodontist always see us on time!) If only our GP can do the same thing, but that would be wishful thinking. To wrap it up, my daughter and I were very pleased and satisfied with the service we received from our Orthodontist, Dr Khiroya. His professionalism and dedication has helped my daughter achieved a nice set of aligned teeth as well as resolved her overbite problem. As a result, my daughter can now show her teeth (proudly) when smiling during photograph moments! We'll just have to make sure it stays that way.

Positive experience: Practice and orthodontist service is very good. Some receptionists can learn better in the receiving of patients in a polite manner and not so stand offish. The worst thing is the appointment system where there is almost no choice for the patient. Not sure if the practice has too many patients but then no point asking people to call back in case of cancellations as this never happens and the only other option is to cancel and try and be seen in another 3 months!!

Negative experience: Was checking in on the system and it didn’t work, I went to the receptionist to resolve this issue and instead she dismissed me entirely instead of helping me with the most passive aggressive tone I’ve heard in my life. Fantastic experience: Very good and efficient here, all orthodontists here are very educated and precise especially Dr Popat and his team, I just got my braces off but my whole experience up to now for 2 years and a bit has been amazing, they’re always very kind and efficient. I loved it but when it came up to wearing retainers yes I haven’t worn all the time because it was irritating my teeth and I was a teenager at the time. Everyone makes mistakes we learn from the mistake. Dentist left me there and didn’t even finish, because I wasn’t wearing my retainers?? Isn’t there another option then retainers?? could’ve done better please But luckily I went to another one for getting my wisdom teeth removed.

I have been under their care since 2021 where they had given me beautiful teeth using braces, they have an amazing team here and are able to perform braces highly well. Every single visit was sweet and not intimidating which would be great for people who may be scared of the process. The whole team makes sure to make everything as seamless as possible and very efficient and have great customer service and with that, I can’t recommend this place enough in particularly for braces. Negative experience: My son was referred over a year ago, there is a 18/24months wait for the initial appointment, bearing in mind they can say no at this point. I called after a year to find out when he would have his consultation and the rude receptionist said the email said 18/24 months! She was extremely abrupt and unhelpful. Frustrated I went back to my dentist who kindly referred my son to the Canons Park branch and we received the initial appointment within a week and now he is on a 12 months waiting list for his braces. Please don’t waste time at this branch, we have wasted a year!
