Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency session due to bleeding gums. Having not been to a dentist in 10 years I was apprehensive. My whole experience from coming through the door to leaving was relaxed and very informative. The dentist I saw explained everything and came up with a plan to help with my problem. Recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: I required urgent dental treatment so called into the surgery on the off chance I could be seen to asap. Kayleigh (Receptionist ) was extremely helpful and listened to my dilema and managed to slot me into Dr Pooja Gupta’s calendar within the hour. Dr Gupta was very approachable and put me at ease whilst she x-rayed my mouth. I felt very looked after and came out feeling good.

Fantastic experience: Every care was given. I was looked after by all members of staff. They were even accommodating moving me to a downstairs surgery as I have a trapped nerve in my back and would have found climbing the stairs painful.

Fantastic experience: A really well-run practice. Communication is always excellent. SMS and email reminders of appointments. Forms can be filled out online before your appointment, so as to save time on the day. Dentists, technicians and admin staff are friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: My appointment at Selby Dental Care today was efficient and speedy. The reception staff were friendly and I didn't wait long. The dentist was new to me, she was friendly and very thorough, checking my history carefully before any treatment. I felt comfortable and relaxed. A very positive experience.

Positive experience: I find the service from the dentist and staff brilliant however I am a little put out and disappointed that although it will be 4 months before I can get an appointment for my treatment I have had to pay today for that treatment? I’m not sure this policy is reasonable when I have to wait so long?

Fantastic experience: I went to the dentist with an emergency appointment with worsening toothache. The dentist was very sympathetic, gave me options to resolve the issue and gave me as much time as I needed to decide my preferred course of action. The decision was made to remove the offending tooth and the treatment was carried out straight away in a very considerate and caring way.

Negative experience: Today myself and 2 children saw a different dentist to our usual one (Mr Nawaz). I always get a clean and scale every year, but wasn’t offered one today. I was charged £75.40 which I questioned The dental assistant who was suppose to be marking things off on my file on the computer, was busy selecting music on her mobile phone Not good practice at all

Positive experience: After a number of cancelled appointments I finally had some treatment today. The service was surprisingly thorough given the disappointment of multiple cancellations. Aside from the usual check up and clean i was given a load of very useful advice to combat gingivitis. Much better service and I hope this lasts

Negative experience: Poor Cannot get the patients name correct. Charge £80 when you book online and don’t tell you until you turn up for your appointment. ‘It’s our Head Office’ policy to charge so understand if you want to cancel - what about my wasted time Mr Dentist? Running late, no apology. Very poor experience
