Negative experience: Terrible experience — I feel completely misled and scammed. I booked an appointment with Colosseum Dental clearly stating that I wanted NHS Band treatment. They charged me £27.50 for the examination and confirmed that any needed root canal would be done under NHS Band 2. After waiting an entire month, I went in for the root canal only to be told by the doctor on the spot that I had been referred for private treatment — something no one had mentioned to me at any point before. In fact, they had repeatedly confirmed that I was being referred to an NHS dentist. They claimed the root canal was "too complex" for NHS, which sounds like a convenient excuse. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. When I asked for a refund of the examination fee, since I had been misled, they refused — saying the NHS doctor wasn’t "qualified" and only the private doctor could do it. And the treatment is expensive and you need to pay the private fee. This kind of dishonest behaviour is unacceptable. I trusted them to provide NHS care and they quietly pushed me into a private treatment path without my knowledge or consent. Avoid this clinic if you expect honesty or proper NHS service.

Negative experience: Just being two minutes late is enough for them to flip out, get defensive, block your account, and ignore you forever. Meanwhile, dentists here are allowed to run as late as they please, apparently, claiming their delays are justified and unavoidable by 'patients that can't be rushed.' Do they honestly think we’re just out here relaxing, sipping cocktails on the beach and taking our sweet time? It’s a ridiculous excuse! Absurd! I am late because of a disability, and despite my social worker’s efforts to inform them, they dismissed her, ignored the communication and gave me the cold shoulder - remarkable professionalism! Apparently, nothing says 'excellent service' like when these top-tier dentists decide to turn their back on me and neglect my needs —brilliant work, dentists! what a shining example of care!…. A very disappointing treatment!

Negative experience: Horrible. My child was supposed to have her baby tooth removed before 13 years old and they refused to do so, now we’re facing problems and she’s having to have a major surgery to remove her adult teeth which has penetrated her nose bone as it’s been pushed up due to the surrounding adult teeth growing around that baby tooth. Because of one dentists negligence, she no longer will have an adult tooth in the front of her teeth.

Negative experience: AVOID AT ALL COST They decided to remove me from the system because, even though I've tried to call them numerous times, I couldn't attend my booking. I called them last week because after ONLY A MONTH the filling they did is falling apart and when I showed up for a visit that I booked the week before, they treated me like I probably got to the wrong dentist even though I was their patient since April/May. I HAVE NEVER BEEN EXPERIENCED SOMETHING WORSE THAN THIS DENTAL CLINIC.
