Fantastic experience: I had a scheduled dental appointment today with Dr Sarah Elsaser to fit a dental splint on a few loose teeth. During the appointment Sarah and her Nurse (name not known) were informative and explained the procedure to me throughly. Which allowed me to feel more at ease and comfortable.. Dr Sarah was very gentle with my fragile teeth and often asked if I was ok! Whilst performing the dental work necessary... I can not praise them enough on their thoughtful caring nature. They are exceptional women and a credit to the dental profession! Thank you. X

Fantastic experience: Dr Suki Duggal was amazing he was very gentle, and understanding. I was very nervous for my first appointment but thanks to Dr . Duggal for being so caring. When I came to my appointment Laila was so welcoming and took the time to explain a few things I wasn’t sure about. Made the whole process was less stressful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Chinwe is undoubtedly one of the best dentists in London! She is friendly, kind, incredibly gentle, and so efficient. I began my dental journey in September 2024, and now, as of June 2025, I’ve officially completed it – and what a journey it’s been! My treatment included full Invisalign (which definitely had its painful moments – lol), but Dr. Chinwe made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Any time I had concerns, she was quick to book me in or send a message to check in. That personal touch made all the difference. I also had bonding done, and the results are amazing. My teeth look so natural – you honestly wouldn’t know I’ve had any bonding at all. At every appointment, Dr. Chinwe explained each step thoroughly, so I was never left in the dark. I always knew exactly what was happening and why. I could go on and on about the exceptional care I received, but to put it simply: I couldn’t recommend a better dentist. I love my results and genuinely didn’t think I could achieve such beautifully straight teeth without going abroad or opting for full cosmetic work. A huge thank you to Dr. Chinwe – and a special shout-out to her nurse Helen, who was by my side at every appointment from beginning to end. They truly are the dream team!

Negative experience: Had a hygiene appointment with Shrita. I paid almost £75, the appointment only lasted 15mins if that! Teeth did not feel clean like it usually would after having a scale and polish. My bottom teeth have been very sensitive since then.Im really disheartened about it, it’s not cheap and she didn’t a good job. I know someone else that went to her and got the same bog standard service too. The reception team are fantastic otherwise. Get 2* because of them.

Prior to today's appointment, my last appointment couldn't take place as I took ill [dizziness & vomiting] on the premises due to a prior head injury. Negative experience: I work more or less seven days a week so getting an appointment for anything can be challenging. A tooth chipped last week and I saw Borough Dental did 8am appointments on Mondays. Happy days! I went there this morning for my early Monday morning booking only to find the dentist hadn’t arrived as she was unwell. Hmmm, Monday morning/unwell …. The next appointment they could offer is in about two weeks but I’m in quite a bit of discomfort so I need to find someone more reliable. Very irritated

Fantastic experience: After such a terrible experience with a previous dentist - I'm so glad to be a patient at Borough Dental Care. Everyone is professional, warm and welcoming and I've not had any issues with bookings or appointments. Best of all my dentist, Dr Hanyi Chen is a warm and excellent dentist, whom not only does extremely brilliant work but has made going to the dentist a lot more bearable (I am not a fan of the dentists). I am so glad Dr Chen is my dentist and Dr Chen has transformed my teeth they are on the road to being strong and healthy!

Negative experience: Dental care is motivated by money, not patient benefit. I consulted with a dentist here who recommended I get multiple expensive treatments costing >£4000. I subsequently consulted another dentist from a trusted source who advised that these treatments (including a crown and Invisalign) were not required and that I only needed a filling (£200). In addition appointments are frequently cancelled.

Positive experience: I have been a patient of this dentist for 5 years, Jose is great and reception staff are friendly. However I just called up and spoke to one of the receptionist who I think might be new as she was unbelievable rude and actually hung up the phone on me.

Negative experience: Terrible Experience with Maria This was the worst hygienist appointment I’ve ever had. Maria was abrupt, aggressive, and completely lacked customer service skills. Despite me visibly showing discomfort and stopping her several times, she only mentioned numbing gel towards the very end of the appointment. Why this wasn’t offered earlier is beyond me. Her approach was rough and aggressive throughout the treatment, making the experience incredibly unpleasant. I will never be returning.

Negative experience: Me and my partner had a hygienist appointment with Maria and had a very bad experience. The cleaning was extremely aggressive and painful, the most painful clean I’ve ever had so won’t be returning.

Negative experience: Have been a patient for over 5 years. Stuck it out after multiple fee increases including the latest which has made hygiene visits £80. Stuck it out after moving further away because I liked having a regular dentist. Then I'm running late for one appointment because the northern line goes down while I'm on it. I call them out of courtesy to inform them that I'll be late and apologise They cancel my appointment and kept my deposit. Seems just really petty and penny pinching after 5+ years. Loyalty does not pay. I've had my last visit. Don't courtesy call them if you're late, just show up and let them deal with you there instead

Fantastic experience: Had an initial consult, followed by a hygienist and a dentist appointment with Dr Lalji. The staff are nice, friendly, courteous and professional. Dr Lalji explained the procedures and answered my questions. She is good and did a great job with my case, which was not the easiest. The hygienist was nice but it felt the technique was a bit rough. I'll definitely be back for a dental check-up in due course 2nd visit next dental review saw Dr Suhayl Saadat who was super professional and lovely. Happily I am now at Borough Dental Care and my dentist is amazing. Negative experience: Constantly canceling appointments. Had to go to 111 for treatment, then more canceled appointments by this this dentist. Eventually had to register with another dentist to receive the treatment that Borough dental were unable to provide.

Negative experience: I registered with the practice nearly 2 years ago. I had 3 appointments booked with them 2 of which were cancelled and 1 I was delayed for about an hour. I was not happy with the dental practitioner appointed to me as he cancelled on me once,delayed once and didn't really want to work with me on my dental needs. As a result my registration with the practice was blocked and I couldn't make an appointment. A few months ago an appointment was made for me to see another practitioner at 10am and by 8.36am I received a message saying that my appointment was cancelled as it was made "by mistake" and that I needed to write an email to them stating my reasons for complaining which I did. The response I received was that it was my fault that I didn't obediently have 3 roots taken out in one go together with an operation to extract a sample of my gums where I was butchered and was in pain for 2 weeks after that. I was and still am absolutely appalled by this behaviour and I am fuming at the moment as I think this has got personal. I have lost 2 days of work because of the conduct of the practice and that is unacceptable. I tried to make another appointment today and i am still banned. In the last 2 years I have had to go to Poland and have all my dental works done there at my expense because of these egoistic unprofessional incompetent individuals who run this place. They operate like a tight knit criminal gang, covering for each other and having each others back when they do wrong. They also know how difficult it is to get an NHS dentist and they use that to make us accept treatment like this and be queit. They forget that our taxes pay their wages and that they are there to serve us and not treat us like a problem or a number. I will follow up my complaint with the relevant authorities since they are not willing to have the matter resolved internally. I will contact my solicitor and possibly take legal action against the practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the wonderful opportunity to shadow Dr. Chinwe as part of an assignment for my university. From the moment I asked her if I could come shadow, through the whole two days that I attended, she was so encouraging and her positivity was absolutely infectious that I genuinely loved being there! Dr. Chinwe was so professional, yet incredibly patient and willing to explain all the important details of the procedures to me whilst performing them. Throughout my time at the practice, I had the chance to observe a wide range of treatments, from routine checkups and fillings to more complex cases such as root canals and bridges. Not only was she an incredible dentist to her patients, but she even went above and beyond to ensure I had the most beneficial shadowing experience. She would spend her lunch break going through any questions I had, and explaining further the treatments that were carried out so that I had a good understanding.
