Negative experience: Every time I ring it say I’m caller one but they never pick up the phone

Negative experience: I had an appointment today at temple dental practice , my appointment been cancelled purely because of incompetent receptionist . I book this appointment few months ago I receive two reminder last reminder was yesterday with form which I have complete emails that not enough as receptionist has nothing to do she call my sister as never mention my name and obviously my sister told her she doesn’t have appointment so she cancel my appointment pure negligence and stupidity and I took early finish from work waited 35 minutes and at the end I couldn’t see anyone and I have to make new appointment . They have nothing to do this receptionist so they have plenty of time to make mistakes that customers pay for . They call it curtsy call which result In me losing my appointment. Nothing can describe their incompetence

I came in as an emergency patient while on holiday, feeling quite nervous, especially since I found the clinic through Google Maps based on the reviews. But I’m so glad I chose this place! From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was so lovely and helpful, which really put me at ease. Dr. Neshat was incredibly kind, reassuring, and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, which helped me stay calm and relaxed throughout the whole appointment. Even though it was just a temporary filling, the level of care and attention I received was exceptional. Fantastic experience: Over the weekend one of my fillings came off and I was left with a big hole in a tooth. This could have rapidly decayed and needed quick attention. However my usual dentist was on leave at the time, and normally it would have taken weeks or even months before I could usually expect an appointment. But on this occasion the staff managed to squeeze me in for an emergency evening appointment the very next day, with a different doctor. Once there, I got called in immediately (no wait time at all!), and they expertly repaired my filling in no time; I was out after just 15 minutes, with everything sorted. On top of that, I only had to pay the emergency NHS rate. Incredible service - thanks very much indeed!

Fantastic experience: The whole team manages to combine a friendly approach with good communication and professionalism which helps to take away anxiety about a visit to the dentist. The dental treatment is excellent, well-explained and further questions are encouraged to put the patient's mind at rest. I visited the surgery for help with an unexpected dental crisis and received excellent, gentle and well explained care. To add an update after my recent visit, I saw my usual dentist, Dr Tan, an excellent well-trained professional who explains everything, including your own responsibility to maintain healthy teeth and gums. And everyone there is welcoming and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice. I continue to receive sensitive and thorough care from hygienist Bhavani Vallabhaneni.

Fantastic experience: I went for my first appointment since having recently moved to Oxford and I had a really good experience. Even though I was a couple of minutes late due to traffic (completely my fault) the practice was happy to push my appointment back without extra charge and both the dentist as well as the hygienist were extremely kind ad thorough. I’ll be back for my next check up and am glad to have found a good dentist in the area.

Fantastic experience: I’m so lucky to have found this practice when we moved to Oxford 7 years ago. My dental health has improved dramatically since I came under the care of Dr Roberts. From having several fillings & needing regular professional cleaning I have been taught to look after my teeth by a system of preventative instructions at every visit. The Practice is very Pleasant & I do not dread dental checkups anymore, treatment is prompt when urgent & I have never had cause to complain. I rate Temple Dental Practice very highly.

Negative experience: Called to book for 30 min hygienist for £70 I was advised that I need to pay £110 for 45 mins as I didn’t book for two years? Or else they cannot book me which I did find odd however I end up paying, any how arrived on time however I was seen 10 mins after my appointment and never had my 45 mins that I paid for it was literally just 30 mins!! This will be my last time as I didn’t appreciate this money grabbing approach.

Negative experience: "I recently booked an OPG panoramic x-ray at Temple Street Dental Practice in Oxford, as a private patient, and was quoted a cost of £60. I arranged everything around this appointment, only to receive a call less than an hour before, telling me I’d need an assessment before they could perform the x-ray. This requirement was never mentioned during the initial booking call or anywhere on their site or materials. It was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient, especially with such short notice. I would expect much clearer communication upfront from a professional dental practice."

Negative experience: I booked an appointment at Temple Dental to see a dentist, but my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I had to wait well beyond my scheduled time. Additionally, I was charged £75 for a hygienist service I had not requested, on top of the £80 I had already paid. This extra charge was only mentioned to me after they suggested I see the hygienist before my dentist appointment. Since no one informed me of the additional cost, I assumed it was part of the service. When I inquired, the receptionist claimed it was a mistake due to confusion—hardly a reassuring explanation--and that I had to pay regardless. While I waited, I overheard two other patients encountering similar issues, which suggests a significant communication problem within the clinic. The customer service, though not terrible, is inconsistent. Different staff members gave me conflicting information, and when I questioned the extra charges, their attitude turned quite rude. The dentist herself seemed indifferent, offering insights no more valuable than what I could get from ChatGPT for free. She was also unnecessarily dismissive toward her assistant, which I found quite odd. The receptionists were passive-aggressive, patronizing me when I asked about the £75 charge, and they weren't even aware that X-rays cost £30—I had to remind them to add it to my bill, twice. The hygienist, while competent, did confuse her patients but at least offered useful advice and listened to my concerns. Despite this, the overall experience was poor. The clinic, both in person and through their website, seems unprofessional. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because of the hygienist’s effort.

Fantastic experience: I had a recent hygiene appointment which left my teeth and gums feeling great. The hygienist explained everything she was going to do including applying numbing gel before treatment. The newer powder treatment was used and I could feel the difference between this and the usual cleaning method. I can highly recommend it.

Negative experience: My experience was quite disappointing. As an international student, I found myself in a difficult situation when I developed a gum infection and had no idea where to turn, especially since the NHS is often slow to respond. After searching online, I found a highly-rated dental clinic and paid £50 upfront for an appointment. I was relieved to get an appointment the next day. The dentist I saw was professional and explained the issue clearly. I was advised to get an x-ray and to have the infected area cleaned, which would cost an additional £95. Despite the expense, I agreed, using my hard-earned savings because I was in severe pain and desperate for relief. After the procedure, I was told to take painkillers for a few days, which I did, hoping it would be enough. However, the next day, the pain in my jaw became even more intense than before. When I called the clinic, I was told that the doctor was fully booked until September, and if I wanted to see another dentist, I would have to pay again. This left me with some serious questions: Why wasn’t I prescribed antibiotics to treat the infection? If the initial treatment didn’t resolve my problem, what exactly did I pay for? Based on my experience, I recommend contacting weststonebridge dental. As an NHS patient, I was able to get a next-day appointment at a much lower cost of £29.

Fantastic experience: My partner had a dental emergency and thankfully, we were able to book a same-day slot as an emergency NHS patient. The team is very punctual and wait time was very minimal. Dr. Alex was thorough during the examination and explained clearly to us what the issue was and how to treat it. We could not have had a better experience (bonus point for the beautiful lavender out in the garden!). Thank you to the whole team!

I’ve seen different ones and they are all good as is the hygienist I always and pleased with the work I have done. I have just had reconstruction work on an old milk tooth which has gone very well.

Fantastic experience: It's always a pleasure to be attended to by Dr Mori Neshat. Not only is he extremely thorough in performing his dental treatments, but also has a very friendly disposition. He patiently answers every question in a comprehensive and easily understandable way. Having him as my doctor has completely eliminated the fear one has of a dental visit, and instead makes it a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Neshat has always been very friendly, professional and goes above and beyond with advice in terms of personal dental care. The hygienists are also amazing, very gentle and thorough and also give good advice on oral hygiene.

Positive experience: Temple street dentists and hygienists are excellent. My only complaint is around their management of future appointments; which is not made clear to the patient. They ask would you like to book your next appointment? you agree then they ask for payment upfront. So your next check up/ treatment etc even if in 6 months time they expect payment immediately, therefore they have your money in their bank account 6 months before the treatment. This should be made clear before agreeing to rebook as it could cause embarrassment/intimidation to the patient, especially if they are shy to speak up. Knowing this I will make an appointment as and when, I prefer my money to sit in my bank account for 6 months and not in Temple Street Dentist's.

Negative experience: Very poor communication. One time I needed emergency dental work and I went in and there was no one there - whole place was empty with doors wide open. They did the emergency repair, it fell off in less than 2 weeks. Then they took me off the NHS list without telling me. So now to get the root canal that I need, it is £800+, because I have to go private.

Negative experience: Visited this dentist a few months ago, opened the door and put one foot inside and the receptionist shouted have you got an appointment, I said no and asked politely are you taking on NHS patients and she shouted no! Private only! Extremely rude woman!! I managed to find another dentist that was very professional and welcoming.

Negative experience: Took me off NHS care without warning during COVID and wouldn't accept me back as an NHS patient because of one private appointment that I made here when I was having a dental emergency and just then discovered that I had been taken off the NHS books. Otherwise great dentists, friendly staff, professional work and price tags of £500 or more :) would recommend but not if you are looking for compassion

Negative experience: I really had very bad experience with Dr. Perle Lo . After 4 appt and 5 hours working on my tooth she told me that she can't finish the treatment because the breakdown of trust between me and her ,but it wasn't the case actually she knew that she destroyed my tooth and can't fix it . I was Dr.William's patient I was very happy with him he had great experience but when I booked my appt for the root canal treatment they changed the doctor I don't know why ! 22.09.2020 was my first appt with Dr. Perle when she started the work I knew that she is unexperienced Dr because of the way she was acting ,my dad is a Doctor since 1990 so I have little knowledge to know which doctor is good or which one is bad ,she spent extra time than usual on my tooth then she called Dr.William' ,he showed her what to do ,then I asked the receptionist to change the doctor for me for the next appointment but she told me who started the work should finished . The second appointment on 06.10.2020 it was an hour appt she started work and my tooth started bleeding she called another doctor ,she came and showed her how to stop the bleeding ,but what I noticed she didn't changed the gloves while she was typing on computer when she was talking with that doctor and after that without changing the gloves she came back and started work again. The third appointment was on 23.10.2020 she started work again and told my that she is cleaning the tooth but my tooth was getting weak day after day On 18.11.2020 my fourth appointment she started root canal preparation after I went home my tooth got a strong pain in which I couldn't eat ,drink or sleep .I was crying all the time I was taking paracetamol but didn't work my husband called the practice he said I want to know what she did to my wife she is in all that pain they said she is not here another doctor prescribed another tablet . After all that she emailed me and said sorry I can't do anything for you ,I called lots of dental practices but unfortunately they didn't accept me with unfinished tooth work . I wish I could give zero

Negative experience: I recently visited the dental clinic for an emergency appointment due to severe tooth pain. Despite the urgency of the situation, the dentist did not provide any treatment. Upon seeking a second opinion from an out-of-hours dentist, it was discovered that my filling had come loose, exposing the nerve and causing the pain i also needed antibiotics . This oversight has caused me unnecessary discomfort and inconvenience. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of proper care and attention received during my visit and would not recommend this dental clinic to others.

Negative experience: Went for an appointment yesterday. The dentist gave me glasses to wear which clearly must not have been disinfected as I have woken up with an eye infection. This is outrageous I can’t go to work and do my day to day tasks. The appointment was so expensive as well as it was private. Will not be going there again.

Positive experience: I've been going to this dental practice for years and there was no issue but recently I had hygienist appointment and I was running late. I've called the dental practice to informed about my appointment as I was stuck in traffic when I turned up the receptionist told me I only had 15 mins left of my appointment. I've paid in full for my 30 mins appointment as a private rate which is not cheap. The way she spoke to me wasn't very nice and didn't give alternative options, I had 15 mins treatment. A hygienist suggested I should book another appointment for 45 mins to make up for what I've missed for this appointment. I booked next appointment for 45 mins and paid in full which even more expensive than 30 mins appointment. Yet again her customer service wasn't great as she was on the mobile phone and tell me to wait while she texted someone. I think they can do better with a customer service skill maybe smile a bit more. I feel like they should have other options for a customer who unfortunately can't turn up on time like myself either reduce the fee for the next appointment. It cost a lot of money for private dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience for an emergency appointment. My toddler son recently had an accident that required an emergency dentist appointment (he's fine). After trying unsuccessfully to get an appt at his regular dentist, we were recommended by NHS111 to contact Temple Street. We had no difficulty getting through and were given an appt within 24 hours. The dentist (Alex) was absolutely excellent - both with our son, and with his two slightly agitated parents. We were supremely impressed with his professionalism, his bedside manner, and the information he provided about what to expect in terms of short/long-term prognoses. I imagine we will be looking to switch dentists soon! While I don't recommend letting your accident-prone son run around concrete tripping hazards, I strongly recommend Temple Street Dentists should he experience a dental-related misadventure.

Negative experience: Absolutely HORRENDOUS level of customer service, why isn't this rude receptionist fired immediately? I call up 6 weeks ago to have my dental records sent to me. This should of taken 2-3 days instead 6 weeks later I have received nothing. Call up an extremely lazy and rude receptionist at 16:30 who when I say this says 'send the manager an email?''' She doesnt want to do her job, I ask her to forward what Im saying to the manager, as they are 6 weeks late with my issue. She says she will forward it WITHOUT even asking for my name and date of birth, she only does this after I point this out. Then she hangs up two times. Disgusting level of service.

Fantastic experience: Lovely and reassuring dentists. Amazing amount of helpful, detailed advice. Was on hold for a while waiting to get through to book an appointment but the care and compassion in appointments is totally worth waiting on hold for.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I don't really have the words to describe what your practice has done for me. Before I met Dr. Kim the thought of even an appointment was traumatic. Over the years I have been unkind to myself and with that my teeth and gums have greatly suffered. To be honest I thought the dentist would insist on dentures but Dr Kim has been such a patient teacher and practitioner that my whole outlook on myself and dentistry has changed. I am not in constant pain and now understand how to take care of my teeth and gums properly. Also, he has given me extra care and I can now enjoy my food.

Fantastic experience: An excellent practice. Very friendly and helpful receptionist and an assuring and excellent dentist in Dr Mori Neshat and his silent yet smiling assistant. You will be in good hands with these guys and I recommend this dental practice to anybody in need of dental treatments and various tooth repair activities for all the family. It is so good I am going back for three more visits next month. And I still have my teeth.

Negative experience: Dental Hygienist and Assistant were friendly, answered my questions, and concerns, and also offered me good and practical advice. During the cleaning the Assistant seemed to be about to fall asleep. A couple of weeks later went back to my Dentist and they still had to remove tartar that was labelled as the "natural look and colour of my teeth"... This was a fully paid appointment in December 2023. I guess a second visit will not happen...

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the practice with dentist Perie Lo. There were conveniently available appointments with the dentist and subsequent hygienist. I found Perie very thorough and she communicated her findings and advice very well in a supportive manner and I felt immediate trust in her. The original appointment was rescheduled to 35 minutes later than originally booked and then was 25 minutes late on the day. I wasn’t informed how long I would need to wait which created some mild stress as I had a work call planned after the appointment when originally booking. The upstairs waiting area was a bit unloved with empty picture hooks and photocopied notices stuck to the wall and as a private patient would expect environment to be better maintained.

Fantastic experience: Pearl is an excellent dentist, took the time to explain everything she was doing and recommendations for dental health going forward

Negative experience: I had to pay in advance every time I booked something, they always insisted on the advance payment despite my never objecting, they always gave me the impression of covering themselves. It doesn't seem fair to me. Furthermore, the last intervention was done by a specially called doctor, who was not at all kind or gentle. He immediately told me (making me feel guilty for no reason) that I should have known it was a two-hour procedure. During those extremely difficult two hours, I had panic attacks because this ungentlemanly individual locked my jaw, closed my mouth with a rubber membrane that often blocked my nostrils, and put all his body weight on my lower jaw. I had excruciating pain in the jaw muscle the entire time, and I literally cried like a child, and he treated me with contempt for it. The assistant didn't suction the saliva and I risked choking several times. If I interrupted, I was treated as if I were a stupid person wasting their time. I arrived with confidence, but I was mistreated and humiliated with hateful looks and a total lack of empathy. I will never go back there again, and I feel that I have been abused. Furthermore, for over two weeks after the procedure, after feeling his needle go a little beyond the upper jaw, I started losing a clear liquid from my nose and throat. It woke me up during subsequent nights if I positioned myself slightly inclined on my side. I was literally losing drops of this liquid from my nose without even realizing it. I was worried until something must have healed and it stopped. During a general check-up, I asked to pay attention to a tooth that showed a stain and hurt as if it were the beginning of a cavity. I was told that it was not a cavity, and despite my insistence and request for a better check-up, I was simply told it was a coffee stain. Today, after a few months, it hurts, and I am certain that I was right.

Negative experience: Dr Tan is fantastic!!! 1000000 stars for him! Sadly, if I could give no stars to the receptionist I would. Why, why, why are they so passive aggressive and unkind?

Fantastic experience: I recently received first rate treatment from the Temple Street Dental Surgery. After suffering pain from gum infections under loose teeth for a couple of months, I realised the situation was not going to improve, and called into the surgery. I was given an emergency appointment for later the same day. I discussed the options with Dr. Lo, and we decided that I should see the hygienist to see if she could deal with the infection. She gave it a really good try, but to no avail, and after a week I went back to the surgery and was given another appointment, again on the same day. We agreed that the two molars should be extracted, and I was given an appointment for the next day. On attending this appointment Dr. Lo fully explained the procedure, while the anaesthetic was taking effect, and then removed the teeth. This procedure was carried out skilfully and quickly, and with minimal discomfort, following which I was given detailed instructions on aftercare. And it was all done on the NHS, which I was very grateful for. The gums are now healing up nicely, and it’s a great relief to be pain free. So, many thanks to all at the Temple Street Dental Surgery, including the friendly and helpful receptionists, for their speedy and effective treatment.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for a good experience, booking the appointment was trouble free, there were frequent reminders of the upcoming appointment and then on the day it was very straightforward to check in at reception. Very good car during the appointment from dentist Mori Neshat and nurse. Mori took time to explain what he was doing and gave advice on dental care. He was very positive and friendly and provides very good care!

Fantastic experience: If I could have put 10 stars, I would have. The entire professional body in this establishment is irreproachable. Dental assistants, receptionists (met three of them and they were all adorable) and dentist. I was extremely nervous about having my wisdom tooth removed, given that I've had bad experiences in the past. Dr Rimmi Bhogal removed it without any sensation in what seemed to me to be less than two minutes. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: I registered with this practice after having a difficult experience elsewhere - it was recommended by a friend. I have had excellent care here and feel confident that the dentists really know what they are doing, and do not push for treatment that's not needed. Respond quickly to emergencies too, and are good with people who are very anxious about going to the dentist (such as my husband, who has also transferred here!) Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I’m extremely happy for the care and attention I received from Ms Bahl. I find it very difficult to keep my mouth open for any length of time as I develop pain in my jaws. A device was put in place that kept my mouth open, I had no pain no discomfort. Sidhika is extremely kind and caring and an excellent professional. She has a very gentle touch and she was able to make me feel completely relaxed and reassured.

Positive experience: After multiple personal visits and persistent attempts to see the principal dentist, I managed to get back half of the amount I had paid for the missed appointment and received a reasonable explanation from the principal dentist. Nevertheless, the front desk manager, Shannon, exhibited a lack of courtesy: 1, When I asked her to inform me about the complaint procedure, she claimed that the computer wasn't connected to the internet, preventing her from informing me about the complaint process, even though the complaint procedure was posted on the wall right next to the front desk. 2, When I insisted on seeing the principal dentist & initiating the complaint process, she tried to call someone to escort/kick me out and asked me to stand outside the clinic and wait. Apart from the unpleasant conversations with Shannon, I am satisfied with the service provided, and I appreciate the help from the principal dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr Morteza Neshat is so wonderful with my kids, he connects with them, makes them feel engaged and comfortable and as a consequence their dental hygiene improves because they feel invested in the process. I find him to be genuinely interested in our family and non - judgmental in the way he advises on any dental problems we are experiencing. My 3 year old was very nervous before we arrived but with Morteza‘s calm and engaging approach, he willingly had a full check. My 6 year old was excited to book a return appointment and has even said that he wants to be a dentist when he grows up which feels like a pretty strong endorsement

Fantastic experience: Dr Tan was amazing. Did my procedure so professionally and made me feel at ease at all times. A wonderful dental practice with wonderful staff.

Positive experience: Have been coming to this dentist for several years now and I am happy with the treatment I have received. The dentist always explains the treatment plan and best options going forward. The dentist always makes me feel at ease and relaxed during treatment.

Negative experience: I am appalled by the customer service of this clinic. I paid upfront for a treatment I decided not to proceed with and cancelled within the window of time where I was able to receive a refund. I have called on several occasions, it has been several weeks, and I have not received this refund. I really don’t know who the people that have left positive reviews for this clinic have spoken to, I wish I could get through to the same people.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience from start to finish was incredible. From taking my phone call Leo the receptionist was the most calming amazingly attentive caring person. As a nervous patient she reassured me all the time and was so kind and considerate. I was then seen by such a wonderfully professional and considerate dentist who kept my nerves at bay until the whole procedure was complete. I have nothing but high praise and urge you to use this practice and be part of a nurturing caring place rather than the scary dentists of old. I was genuinely amazed at their excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I attended for a routine checkup and clean with Dr Lo. Dr Lo was professional and very thorough in her approach. She was gentle with her procedure, making it painless. At the end, she shared her findings and patiently walked me through what needed to be done. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: This is a perfect dental practice. From the moment you walk in it's a calm relaxed atmosphere, lots of light and smiling faces. The dentistry I've had has been easy and I was sensibly talked through a tooth removal and before I knew it it was out. This is a great, helpful, friendly practice, I almost look forward to check-ups!

Fantastic experience: So basically I missed the appointment and I got charged an amount wich I'm nor gonna discuss it here I spoke with the manager and she told me that they will call the next day of my visit so they can refund a small amount from what I got charged from the missing appointment,that never happened as for the dentist actually the 5 stars goes to him he was really professional and was explaining everything so thank you

Negative experience: AVOID: I had a terrible experience at this dentist because like others here have commented, they treat clients like cash machines. I was running late for an appointment with the hygienist, so I called in advance to apologise and let the receptionist know, but once there (just 10 minutes late) they announced that I had basically lost my slot and all the money I had been forced to pay upfront. There was nothing I could do about it they said, except rebook for an extortionate fee. When I explained that I booked that already very expensive appointment on the dentist's instruction because I have gum disease, they didn't care at all and just said I'd need to pay again. The place is basically a racket profiteering from the health needs of others, including NHS patients

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service. The dentist and nurses were very pleasant and helpful. They booked an emergency appointment immediately and treated me on the same day.

Fantastic experience: Tuesday 25th April I arrived at the dental surgery and was greeted by a friendly and polite receptionist. After a few minutes the nurse called me into the surgery. Dr Kim Weng Tan carried out an examination, then explained in detail what dental treatment was needed. A plan was worked out, then a date set for my next visit. Both dentist and nurse were friendly and kind making me feel at ease throughout my appointment. I would highly recommend Dr Kim Weng Tan to any patient who may be apprehensive or nervous about visiting the dentist. I would highly recommend this dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: The practice has always been good, and high standards of care towards patients is the norm. My teenage clients from a resettlement program I used to work for were always looked after with, great understanding of their circumstances. My treatment was - for me - quite complex, involving removal of a crown and fitting a bridge. All staff, from the hygienists to the dentist and her assistant, were easy to talk to & the work was meticulous and painless. I had to go private but I wouldn't normally. I don't think standards of care would differ, on the NHS.

Negative experience: Very disorganised. -I had a dentist appointment that was 20m late -they tried to charge me for a service I hadn't had -charged me in full for the following hygienist appointment (even though the website says I only need to pay a deposit) -I waited 3 weeks for the hygienist appointment which they then cancelled and I've been waiting over a week for them to process the refund. -I ended up getting an appointment for half the price in London the next day, so they aren't great value for money The Receptionists don't seem to have any idea what's going on and can't actually do anything to help. For a private practice this is pretty poor. Not recommended and I won't be going back.

Negative experience: Dentist and Dental assistant was lovely. The reception staff not so much, in fact they were awful. The one with the lip filler was the worst. Very stand-offish. Not sure if she didn't want to smile or if all the Botox made it impossible for her to smile, either way not a very nice experience! Very hostile, I didn't even say goodbye which is very unlike me!!

Fantastic experience: I had a really bad experience at another dental surgery whilst being an NHS patient and came to temple street as a private patient during a wisdom tooth emergency. The front desk team, the dentist I saw and the hygienist (as well as all other assistants in the room) were so lovely and so calming. They explained everything happening in detail and all options open to me. It was a lovely contrast to my experience elsewhere. I couldn’t recommend more and will now be returning here instead!

Fantastic experience: I was suffering with a severe toothache over the weekend. I emailed Sunday evening requesting an emergency appointment. I received an email at 08.30 on the Monday morning asking me to call the practice and got an appointment for that day. Excellent service and lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I trust Temple Dental to provide a professional and friendly service. On my last visit the receptionist was very helpful and efficient. The hygienist was welcoming and reassuring, and gave helpful advice.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and professionalism. The reception team were friendly and knowledgable, and the dentist and her assistant were fantastic! Dentist explained thoroughly what would be happening step by step, took time to answer any questions I had, and I never felt rushed. They included at the end a schedule which I could choose to follow, showing what further appointments were proposed, including filling work and hygienist visits. I never felt pressured, but happily took their advice. Could not recommend highly enough!

Negative experience: Urgently need more staffing. I called on the day of three cleaning appointments (myself and two children) to say we had to cancel because of bad colds. However, I did not reach anyone and left a message. They called back hours later and said that they were going to charge me anyway...so I called back (again no answer, just left a message) saying in that case we would come. When I showed up, they had cancelled our appointments. After much fuss and grumbling, they saw us. If they don't check their own messages, how are we supposed to communicate?

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with Dr Kim Weng Tan and the Temple Street practice. Very professional and came away happy. Dr Tan is also very personable and easy to talk to. Very good dentist and also caring to his patients. Perfect combination. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Competent dentists and higienists although their assistants seem to be a new one at almost every visit (students?). Excellent ways on dealing with patients. Warm, respectful, no rush. As you don't find anymore nowadays. Opaque billing system at times. Also triple check their treatment budgets are complete to avoid surprises later.
