Fantastic experience: As someone who was a nervous patient when visiting the dentist, ever since having Dr Annika as my dentist I no longer fear going for my appointments! She is lovely, caring and explains everything from start to finish. My son who is 9 months old has also had an appointment and she took time to get him used to being checked over. She was also so patient with him whilst he sat in his pushchair waiting for me to have my treatment done.

I am 200% pleased: and the service for my child (who, by the way, has very, very bad teeth. They are weak, fillings often fall out), the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I have a son who is autistic and finds the whole experience scary and stressful but his dentist is Dr Annika who is fantastic and patient with him and goes through everything she is going to do and let’s him see every piece of equipment and explains what it does which really helps put his mind at ease . She is a credit to the surgery and alongside Zahreen they are brilliant team for my son . Dr Annika has been very good with my own Dental care with advice and improvements for me to be healthier. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient with this dentist a number of years now. Staff are always friendly, kind, attentive and professional and fully explain any treatment required. I have had an extraction of 2 broken molars.I was terrified but let the dentist do the procedure and it was over before I knew it! Very grateful! Have now had 2 front teeth crowned. A lengthy procedure over several visits but I am very pleased with my "new" teeth!

Negative experience: The dental practice used to be good as I had been there many years but since being passed annika and realising her capability is limited with only a 50% root canal success rate and a lack of empathy for children when having painful procedures I would not recommend her at all.

Positive experience: Went with a loose tooth in pain, everything explained to me about taking care of my teeth, ex ray explained brilliantly but at the end of it all got to put up with the pain for another 13 days before it get extracted. ‍♂️. Toothache gets any worse all be extracting it myself with pliers…‍♂️

Fantastic experience: I went to have a crown replaced at the front of my mouth. As a nervous patient Mr. Hindocha was wonderful, he was very patient and kind. I have a temporary crown which frankly looks better than the original! 10 days I have to return to have the new one fitted. The cost? £800 for a porcelain crown. Would highly recommend Total Dental Care to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My dentist was has she has always been, considerate, caring, and frendly. The surgery looks better after all the alterations. It's modern, well lite and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and had an easy manner. After the examination of my teeth was finished, my dentist explained the condition of my teeth in a language I could understand, further treatment, and advice on how to improve the care of my teeth, she also explained the condition of my mouth in general, and how my medication was giving me a dry mouth. I am not worried about going to the dentist, but if I was, she would be the one I would choose for her level of care and consideration! She is a person who wants to make a difference!

Negative experience: l went into the dentist yesterday to make an appointment with Annika to be told l had been took of their register which really surprised me as lve been a patient with them for a number of years, the last time I went to see Annika was on the 22 feb of this year l did make another 2 appointments which I had to cancel due family moving house and little one being poorly but always let them know it’s not that l didn’t inform them which any would understand this things happen, wasn’t even told No phone call and No letter absolutely Nothing which I find disgusting, I have been told by another dentist that I should have been informed and explained why, then I realised I had put a review up concerning the way the receptionist had spoken to me last week basically there was a 3 way confirmation when there should have 2 which l found very rude and she also put phone down on myself so as you can imagine I stated my concerns on a review and surprise surprise l have now been took of their books, these remarks were made about the receptionist No any dentist l have Never had anything but good things to say about her, l always thought we had freedom of speech.

Negative experience: So my two kids got an appointment on the next day. However, I rang them to cancel it (35 hours before) as I wont make it anymore at that time or be 10 minutes late. However this new receptionist with a very cold voice said I am not allowed to cancel an appointment and that she will put it in the record, saying my kids missed few appointments in total throughout since they registered years ago (but only missed 1 in the last 3 years). She said she will take them off the register if I cancel another appointment for whatever reason. Apparently its their policy!! Yet I had a reminder text msg on the day before that says to ring if I am unable to attend which i did, however this rude receptionist is saying we need to ring 48 hours before the appointment, what the point of reminding us a day before and not 48 hours if we can't cancel/reschedule. These appointments are made months prior and can cross over with some new school schedules or even emergencies, surely we should be allowed to cancel in case of emergencies without being penalised. I did ask to be sent the policy, but she coldly replied "well that's our policy!!.

Negative experience: Was waiting to get treatment 45 minutes. At reception 3 ladies -one serving customer,another speaking over the phone in front of everyone about her new signed contracts, third sitting looking at first one. A bit unorganised and unprofessional. Price list also needs to be updated on website as being told by dentist more than states on website.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to start this review with saying just how much I appreciate this practice and all its staff. I almost lost my place as an NHS patient but have always had Vijay as my dentist I wouldn’t feel safe going anywhere else Vijay understood my fears and gave me one last chance! I attended today for a filling and him and his nurse were so patient with me. Couldn’t fault my service here on every single visit they have gone above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: My 1st time being treated by Dr H & the whole experience was fantastic. He has a very calming presence in surgery & explained everything throughout. His nurse Marni was very attentive & they both put me at ease. His treatment was flawless & I came out smiling from ear to ear! The practice itself is beautiful, an upmarket look but offering affordable services. The whole team are friendly and caring from the moment you walk through the door. I've already booked back into their health clinic - the great thing is they're not just teeth! Well done team Total, you've really nailed it.

Fantastic experience: I had a check up, two x-rays, teeth cleaning and three fillings done all at one go here this morning for a very reasonable price. The dentist and staff were good-humoured and kind and my only complaint is a aching jaw!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but overwhelming praise for this practice. Such was my needle phobia, it had been an unbelievable 10 years - you heard that right - TEN years - since I had had as much as a dental consultation! However, it suddenly became unavoidable when unwittingly, I chipped one of my upper teeth badly on a something hard in a breaded chicken fillet - I felt this bone-splitting crack; and barely dared look: it was a complex injury in that the part of the tooth which had broken off stretched from its lower right to the upper left! I was in complete denial for a couple of months, hoping if I used enamel repair toothpaste, etc. the tooth might repair itself... But then one night I awoke at 3 a.m. with this awful throbbing, and knew I had to face the music... Miraculously, Total Dental Care still had my details on file; it was my practice of choice not only because they were the last to have seen me, there was a personal connection, in that I had actually taught Dr. Hindocha's delightful four-year-old daughter in her Reception year at school some 20 years previously! It turned out the broken tooth was just the tip of the iceberg; my teeth were generally in a bad way. Despite priding myself on not having a single filling and brushing regularly, I was a night-time 'grinder' in my sleep. That, coupled with a fondness for citrus and cola, plus 57 years of natural wear meant I had come just in time: several of the back teeth needed shoring up before the front ones collapsed like a house of cards. Through a process of thorough discussion, showing me all the different options, Dr. Hindocha devised a comprehensive Dental Plan, making some 14 crowns to completely transform my smile and safeguard the rest of my teeth. It wasn't a quick process, as explained to me, there is a very necessary to-ing and-fro-ing methodical process between front/back, upper/lower jaws, etc. to achieve an optimum balance and even bite. This is where Dr. Hindocha truly excelled: by his own admission, the process is a passion for him; he really did take his time to get things right; on many occasions welcoming feedback from myself and fine-tuning accordingly. Nothing was too much for him. Despite my having undergone a course of hypnosis to enable me to cope with Covid jabs, I was absolutely terrified upon the first visit; and Dr. Hindocha and his team did a magnificent job of putting me at my ease; all the areas to be injected were prepared with generous doses of a fabulous numbing gel, which really ensured that the pain was never more than I could manage. They also put metallic orange visors over my eyes which shielded me from much that was happening. Trust me folks, I am the world's biggest "wuss" - things are a far cry now from what dentistry used to be like - if I could cope with these procedures, you certainly can. Dr. Hindocha was extremely sensitive in his whole approach; I think he could sense this was a real journey for me facing my demons; he is actually considerably adept at utilising calming hypnosis methods himself, addressing the right breathing techniques and so on; and has a naturally soothing manner, with a great deal of good-natured humour and fun banter exchanged between him and his other staff - you cannot help but be at your ease! Not only am I delighted with the overall look and quality of the final outcome, to cap it all (get it?) I even left with a 'back-up' set of crowns to retain in case of emergency! The whole experience has, for me, been something of a personal triumph in terms of facing what would have been hitherto an impossible ordeal a couple of years ago... For ANYBODY who is scared of dentistry, THIS is the place to go. I want to pay tribute to the entire team, from Alisa and Lindsay at Reception to Sam the Practice Manager right through to the dental nurses Marnie, Paris, Zee and the lovely all grown-up Dhianna and Annika (!) this is a practice which coheres perfectly - and I recommend it unreservedly to you all.

Fantastic experience: The building is being updated so building work going on, but the dental care you get is fantastic. I like many others hate these visits, but since being with this practice i feel a lot more confident and at ease in going. Dr Vijay for the 1st couple of years and today for the 1st time seeing Dr Annika. I'm so impressed by her as a dentist and as a person too. All staff exceptional. Highly recommend Since 1st posting I have been attending every 3 months. I'm still with Annika, and I couldn't wish for a better dentist. All staff exceptional. Highly recommend
