Fantastic experience: Iv been coming to damira dentist in Bishop stortford for some time now. I go quite regularl. I see Andrea who is a really lovely lady. I wouldn't want to see any other dentist I feel very comfortable with her and she knows me and what's best. Iv had a few different hygienests. My recent appointment was with a different lady and so far she was my favorite. I walked out feeling much more happier and feel she was alot thougher and even polished which iv never had done with any other hygienests within the dentist. The staff are very friendly and polite.

Negative experience: Couldn’t fault them previously but recently the new receptionists i speak to seem to not care at all, i struggle to get booked even in emergency situations. Beyond disappointing from them & will be looking to be seen elsewhere in future. What is going on Damira!!!

Negative experience: The staff at Demiral were kind and professional, but unfortunately, my mum’s implant procedure went badly. After the screw was placed, she experienced severe pain, and within days it fell out. This also caused damage to the bone of a neighbouring tooth, which now has to be removed. She’ll need to restart the process with another clinic and get two implants instead of one.Resulting in more cost. It’s been a very stressful experience for us.

Negative experience: Very disappointed and time wasted , poor services and superficiality. They can cancel your appointment immediately if you late and rebook after 3 month ,but don’t get any sorry if you wait like idiot 30 min in the waiting room. I will not recommend ,my friend end up in a very complex dental problem with her little one, costing her over £5000 because of Andrea the superficial dentist .

And also they have great advice on teeth cleaning due to my sensitive gums and how best to manage this. It’s always easy to book appointments and the prices are reasonable. Negative experience: They cancelled 3 appointments, and only offering next visit in 6 months. But they happy to offer private appointments in the next few days.Not happy with poor customer service and changed clinic for my kids, got appointment next week. I also booked my other daughter for emergency appointment, so needed to pay to make it quicker. They haven't done anything. But another clinic, made some treatment to help with the pain

All dentists are self-employed and split their time between NHS and private care. Accordingly, there may be a shorter waiting time for private services as there is less demand for them.

Negative experience: I had an emergency dental appointment yesterday , paid £60 for nothing .Dentist took my tooth x-ray that would cost another £15 . I am really disappointment the Dentist did not do anything to ease the pain. I felt it is a waste of my money and time .

Fantastic experience: I went to Damira dental practice for hygienic clean.For the first time, I tried air flow clean.Alrhough it is a double in price of the usual clean, I thought my teeth felt cleaner, this treatment is not painful and I will consider having it in the future, but probably not each time, as it is expensive.

Positive experience: I have been taking my daughter to Damira for at least 4 years. As part of NHS free exams every 6 months it was literally in and out in less than 10 mins for daughter. There was general reminder that teeth were to be cleaned properly but with no time spent explaining the technique to my daughter. I was almost contemplating to move to another dental practice to avoid her feeling discouraged. This is when Damira’s NHS team recommended that I see their hygienist privately for my daughter. We saw Vivian ant Damira and it made a lot of difference she was very patient and explained everything nicely. Now my daughter looks forward to it. There is definitely difference between patients seen privately compared to those in NHS. Recommend this place for private treatment.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Damira is always patient and kind.Padma is particularly gentle whilst advising the most suitable treatments and my dental health has vastly improved over the few years we have been registered with them. I used to hate going but not now. Going to the dentist is still not my favourite outing but I feel safe in their hands and l trust them to do their best for me. Jean Moore This was a clean and brighten up. I asked Padma how I could get rid of the heavy stains on my teeth. This was the treatment I had yesterday and it took her only about 15 minutes to transform my old lady looking teeth into a much healthier, cleaner looking smile.I have never smoked but tea and coffee stains were so unattractive but now my teeth look clean for the first time in years.If you have worries or a problem they listen and help.

Negative experience: I think the locum dentists at Damira are appalling and they have no people skills. I spent all of 2 minutes in the dentist chair and paid £26.40 for that - shocking. I also had a broken tooth. I have been told to come back. I can only get an appointment in November. My tooth is bothering me. The dentist put a temporary filling in which took 2 minutes and it has already come our 1 day later. What a waste of money and I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied.

Positive experience: Booked a 30 minute appointment for general hygiene and polishing. Was on the expensive side compared to other clinics in the area. I was out the door within 20mins with a few minutes either side of the clean spent chatting therefore 15 mins in all was spent on the clean itself which, for the price, I wasn’t impressed with. Hygienist was lovely but will most likely try somewhere else for my next hygiene check up.

Fantastic experience: I was rather upset. I have a lump on my upper gum and the dentist advised me that I need to be referred to a specialist for it, as a matter of urgency. When I saw my last dentist in March 2024 he said that the lump was nothing to worry about. I recently spent (last two years) over £8,000 for work removing teeth and creating bottom set of dentures with implants. Whilst I have been delighted with the dentures, last week I lost a piece of one of the front teeth, not sure how, maybe eating a nutty bar! This issue was given rather a vague response by the dentist. I need to know what I should do to get my tooth "fixed" and how much (if anything) it will cost me. I spent about ten minutes with the dentist (who was professional) but this cost me £75. I had a follow up appointment with my original dentist, Haroon, and I'm delighted to say that my trust in Damira Dental Practice in Bishops Stortford has been fully restored.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. Waited half an hour for the dr while he found a car park space, no apology. Instead, he quickly told us that my daughter needed filling and got rid of us. The next appointment is in August. And, worst of all, we went for an emergency appt but we can’t be seen for that until the fillings are sorted. Utterly disgusting behaviour, and a waste of NHS money.

Negative experience: I personally would not recommend them I felt as I was the last patient on a Saturday all they wanted to do was clear up and go home . had to return literally minutes after my treatment as she had left cement on my front teeth . How could she possibly let me walk out of there with all of that over them it had to be scraped off . So clean or interested in patient just about shutting up and going home . So a definite no .
