Fantastic experience: Overall great experience using this dentist for the first time. Excellent service and felt as though my concerns were well listened to and accomodated. Colette was super friendly and made me feel at ease during my appointment. Emma, Rebecca and Amy were all lovely when I was speaking to them at reception.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ballantyne, my hygienist, is fantastic and helps with my anxiety around needles and dentistry in general. After years of neglect, I went from having terrible teeth and periodontal disease to my healthiest gum state—truly, the healthiest they've ever been. They don't bleed anymore, and I'm not scared to smile. I'm also so much more confident in the chair and life. The new receptionists are a much-needed breath of fresh air! Bubbly, friendly, professional, polite and well spoken. The kind of staff you want at the reception around nervous people.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been at this practice for a few years now. There's always a warm welcome from the reception and the dental staff are kind and professional. NHS prices are good and we've paid to have private hygienist treatment which we were very pleased with.

Fantastic experience: I've always had such a fear of dentists because I've abandoned my gums and teeth so much but Dr Ballantyne was amazing, understanding, thorough and completely non-judgemental. I'm actually a little bit gutted I won't see her for 3 months. I would recommend this practice to anyone who has a fear of the dentist or is embarrassed to go.

Fantastic experience: I really recommend g1dental, a practice, just as you walk through the door you are relaxed, no fear, no stress, always welcoming and smiling people and the doctors are always punctual and professional, explain the problem well and give very good advice and the result at each consultation is just top my dentist Mrs Eleni Patsiatzi is so sweet and kind with Caitlin always smiling I am NHS and I am very well received and properly treated no worries and I notice no difference between me and a private client (rare these days a dentist who does not hurt)

Fantastic experience: I have attended G1 Dental practice twice now. My dentist Cameron who was originally based in Bathgate moved to Glasgow. Cameron was brilliant sorting me out with an mouth shield to help prevent snoring, my snore score went from over 100 to under 10, I could not believe it. But it works and works well. Cameron has a lovely, kind and professional approach with his patients. I struggled to get a dentist in Edinburgh and needed some work carried out on a tooth and to be honest I trust Cameron as he always makes me feel less stressed when I see him. So when I went to get my shield adjusted I asked if I can become a patient and was acceoted. Had the tooth removed with very little discomfort and very helpful after care information was provided. The team at G1 are so lovely and helpful, they are so courteous and friendly, they are a really lovely bunch of folk (well those that I have been in contact with) keep up the great work.

Negative experience: As other reviews have said; if you’re a private patient they care and if you’re NHS they don’t. I’ve been registered at this practice for almost 10 years and every time I go for NHS treatment, the dental surgeon repeatedly attempts to sell you private dental care, which ends up in having to be constantly reassured that you’re receiving NHS care because you feel you might be getting charged for private treatment. The final straw was my NHS appointment being cancelled because of an “emergency appointment” well over a week before my appointment was due. My advice is to avoid if you’re an NHS patient.

Fantastic experience: Appointment time: 25/11/2025, 10.40am. People in G1 Dental are very helpful! Always feel relaxed about working with Dr H Taylor. She is very good at providing a relaxing and caring clinical environment whilst maintaining her profession. I thought I would only have a regular check-up, but she had a profound examination on my previous tooth issues as well as offered a deep cleaning treatment, which was very thoughtful and saved my time from booking another appointment. I would recommend G1 Dental and Dr Taylor!

Negative experience: This is a sales operation first and dentist second. As sales of old they have no problem lying. Iv been with them 8 year. Had a appointment booked for Friday. Unfortunately my circumstances changed since my last appointment. Now on benefits. Treated like a 2nd class citizen, and even though I asked the manager not to lie on top of the lie, she did.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, I would like apologies because I should have done it a long time ago but I didn’t. I regret it so much. I really want to highly recommend the service by Collete, the most professional and friendly Hygienist Dentist that I ever seen in my life. She is a wonderful person, golden heart, soo kind, patient and makes our visit for hygiene appointment a pleasant time. She looks after us like no one else!! Fantastic experience: Great service here always. Colette is wonderful. I never feel pressured with up selling. Just great treatment.

Negative experience: If you pay your treatments - they treat you well. If your an NHS patient. They treat you like crap. I've been literally begging for over two years to try and get false teeth from them. The last time I went - it was a scale and polish. No reply when I asked. Again. NOW... They are playing their little game again. Claiming I've missed an appointment. And it's went from £10 to £30 they want. Before they will see me again. As for this 'missed appointment' nonsense. I did go in with toothache. And guess what ? Here's some antibiotics - come back in a week. I took them. And then side of my ballooned out with a swelling. That, was the only 'missed appointment'. But they knew about it. I phone up two days before - to say I was feeling as sick as a dog. Thanks to their - u must take these pills first - approach. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: I visited G1 Dental for the first time today, 20/08/2024. I was impressed by the spacious environment and the welcoming reception team. My appointment with Dr. E Patsiatzi at 10:30 am was pleasant; she was a lovely dentist, and the dental nurse was great too. Thank you!

Negative experience: They were just calling me for taking xrays 3 times so they can be paid from the NHS. They only offered amalgam to fill the teeth and they didn't offer anything else. If a dentist offers amalgam regardless of where they are, RUN from that place ASAP. For small jobs, they heavily relied on NHS and they don't offer white fillings which they would rather charge you for that and if your tooth is broken, I wish you mercy because NHS dentist wouldn't do anything nor the G1 until you pay on your own approximately 700 pounds.

Fantastic experience: Professional, approachable with the bonus of being a city centre dentist! Highly recommend Sunny - valuable, diligent and happy to answer any questions. Shout out as well to Lauren and Emma for organising my transfer between dentists with ease and keeping me up to date.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appointment back in late February for an infected tooth. I was 100s of miles from my dentist. G1 took me in next day and sorted me out. Excellent service. Highly recommended. Had tooth pulled out by my regular dentist 2 weeks later. My regular dentist said G1 did exactly the right thing. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: I visited G1 Dental for the first time today and I was really impressed. The practice was easy to find, clean and all the staff I met were welcoming. My dentist, Hilary, carried out a thorough examination before giving me some very helpful dental advice. All payment options (NHS & private) were clearly explained and a print out of costs provided which I found was useful. A positive experience

Fantastic experience: Dental health has a much larger impact on our overall health than many people realize. I know from family experience (mother died from oral cancer). I have a dental implant and two crowns as a result of an accident years ago, and it's critical that those be be cared for correctly. NHS are good, but not as accessible as I need for my own peace of mind. Yes it's private and that is a darn shame but when it comes to preventive dental care I will not compromise. The staff here are wonderful. From reception desk (Lauren and Emma), dental hygenist (Collette) and of course my dentist (Hilary Taylor)! I've experienced their routine check up and cleaning care and they were superb precise monitoring of the dental health especially around my dental work. Always on time, efficient, caring, never felt rushed, rather that I was the only concern they had the entire time there. They always were prepared to discuss my dental health and provided me with additional information on individual dental and medical health interrelationships. Dental care here is worth the relatively small (especially compared to USA dental costs) out of pocket expense. Highly recommend. The long term return on your health is worth it.

Negative experience: I registered with G1 Dental in 2018 and visited multiple times for dental hygiene and fillings. However, in the last few months, my experience hasn't been great. I developed cavities in my wisdom tooth and one beside it. A dentist, whose name I won't disclose, performed fillings in November and fixed my teeth, initially leaving me satisfied. However, a couple of months later, I began experiencing sensitivity and food getting stuck in the same area. Initially, I ignored it, but it gradually worsened, leading to unbearable pain. Upon revisiting the same dentist, they recommended a few days of antibiotics, warning that if it didn't improve, they would need to extract the wisdom tooth. Despite following their advice, the pain persisted, and subsequent appointments yielded no improvement. Frustrated, I sought an emergency appointment with G1 Dental, where another dentist recommended root canal treatment (RCT) for the wisdom tooth, although they couldn't guarantee pain relief. Consulting with friends, I decided to seek treatment from other dental clinics. They immediately identified that the filling wasn't done correctly initially. They performed RCT on the wisdom tooth and corrected the filling in the other tooth. Now, I'm feeling much better and can finally sleep. Honestly, I would advise avoiding G1 Dental, especially for critical scenarios.

Fantastic experience: After having a very long fear of visiting the Dental Hygienist I had two appointments with Collette Ballantyne on the 29 February and 1 March 2024 to have my teeth and gums cleaned and it was a pain-free and excellent experience. I would highly recommend Collette and G1 Dental as a whole to everyone. I definitely would say that G1 Dental is the best Dental Practice in Glasgow. Don't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Great dental practice! I'm travelling here this week from London, but I started to have a toothache right before my departure. Because I'll be relocating here soon, I decided to start seeing a dentist in Glasgow. I did a quick search online and found this one very close to my hotel. I called and explained my situation, stressing that I needed a same-day appointment, and the reception was able to accommodate me. The clinic was modern, clean, and had a cheerful vibe (perhaps because of Halloween). My dentist was Dr. Sloan; he was very kind and professional. Together with his assistant, they quickly identified my problem and booked me for the very next day for the initial treatment. The treatment was so painless that I didn't feel anything even after three anesthesia injections. There was plaque developed beneath a previous filling I had gotten from a renowned London dental clinic. Dr. Sloan cleaned the plaque meticulously, ensuring that nothing was left. He applied some temporary fillings and scheduled me for a follow-up treatment next week. I had toothache after the anesthesias effect ended, and I took 500mg paracetamol to solve it temporarily. Surprisingly, the next morning my toothache had complete gone! I'm more than happy now! The entire process was swift. Plus, the price is very reasonable compared to clinics in London. I've heard about Glasgow's stellar dental reputation, and now I can vouch for it. The entire treatment was both smooth and efficient. It's hard to believe I'll have everything sorted within a week. The last time I had a similar issue in London, it took a month to treat.,, I'm truly fortunate to have found this clinic. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: G1 Dental has been fantastic to me since I joined post-Covid. Dr Sheikh has been amazing during my initial check up and then the multiple root canal treatment appointments. Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Sunny today (note: the appointment confirmation text said G. Basi). I am a nervous patient, but with Dr. Sunny’s attentiveness and gentleness you wouldn’t think so. Everything was thoroughly and logically explained. He is a very kind and diligent dentist. I felt nothing at all, and he allowed me to listen to music during my procedure to help with my anxiety. I am no longer as afraid to attend the dentist. He’s an asset to G1 Dental!

Fantastic experience: Wow. I’m so impressed! I called this morning asking if they were taking on new NHS patients and managed to get a cancellation for 3pm. Receptionist was absolutely lovely and helped me fill out my forms. The dentist Sunny/Sunni could not have been more thorough with my teeth, taking X-Rays of the back and really making sure he got to the bottom of the problem when I said I had some tooth pain. Staff were all friendly and the place is spotless. So happy I’ve joined as a patient and look forward to G1 being my dentist for years to come. Thank you!

Negative experience: When I went there with a cavity the dentist told me that I needed an extraction, and that I needed another tooth extracted, but I did not agree with that so I took myself to another clinic and there I have got a filling done following a root canal treatment on the same teeth that I was advised to extract. So basically the dentist is a bit unexperienced from my personal experience

Fantastic experience: G1 dental is by far the best dental practice experience I ever had! Reception team is very accomodating and friendly. Dentist Raeed and dental nurse Abbie have treated me over 1 year and each intevention was painless and smooth. Raeed explained everything step by step and was very transparent about everything making sure the best options were offered to me. He focused on treating and savng my teeth with the best possible treatment at a reasonnable cost. I am very happy with the result. He was very gentle and regularly checked on me if I was feeling all right throughout the procedure. Abbie was very caring and gentle ensuring I was comfortable at all times. They both worked seamlessly as a team. And who would have thought I would even laugh through the treatment as I got ticklish! I would recomment G1 dental, Raeed & Abbie without any hesitation!

Negative experience: Got booked an appointment to get a filling because of tooth pain and then the dentist said that he wouldn't do any work because I'm registered with another dentist at the practice. the practice manager called to discuss my review on here but got my partner and said that they would call the next day but as of yet still no phone call

Fantastic experience: Having to look for another NHS Dental Practice in Glasgow - I am so glad that I came across G1 Dental Group. Visited early March for a check up - back today for an extraction and Cameron made me feel relaxed (as I am not normally a fan of the dentist :-) ). Fantastic experience: I’ve always avoided the dentist, through fear, preferring to suffer for years with rotting teeth. I was in agony and really needed emergency treatment, g1 seen me straight away and Craig the dentist was so amazing that I’ve been returning and finally getting my teeth sorted, I feel no discomfort for the first time in years and my teeth are starting to look great. Fantastic experience: I really liked the clinic, and how it is hygienic and well advanced equipments are used. The doctor is so friendly and sweet. She cares about the wellbeing of the patient, not just the treatment itself. She care about the treatment plan in short- and long- term means and her recommendations were so clear and nice.

Fantastic experience: G1 is the a fantastic dentist in Glasgow. The dentists are fantastic professionals that are great that the work performed meets the highest standards. The dental assistants are just as gifted. The receptionists are highly experienced are super friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dentist for years, the staff are always super friendly and helpful and are able to offer a mix of NHS and private options. I get regular hygienist appointments and am able to get an appointment easily within a week or two of me requesting across the board. I also get honest advice on what is necessary treatment and what is a nice to have, so I can budget accordingly. Great service all around!

Negative experience: Never never step into this one. The R dentist tell lies. He never sent the referral of wisdom teeth removal. He is passionate about private services. one teeth charges 400 pounds. I was upset to the hospital asking about waiting list. The staff told me no my information. Totally liar!

Fantastic experience: Wee bit late to the 'review party', but after my latest visit today, I realised that G1 have been my dentist for around 8 - 9 years now... And that's for good reason... Since being under their care (specifically Dr Sloan's...) they've been the model of good practice, and the exemplar of how a modern dental practice should be: very professional, compassionate, and with very effective treatments. While I'm not a 'nervous patient...' myself, I've witnessed how staff in G1 deal with those of a certain disposition, and it's always with tact and dignity. I'd never go anywhere else, and cannot recommend G1 enough....

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a broken, dying front tooth for years that has really bothered me and broke my confidence, readjusting the way I smile and talk to hide what I seen as a hideous off putting aesthetic . After years of just accepting it I was provided with the means to get help and fix it, the treatment i was provided by G1 Dental and Atelier Dentistry was next level beyond, from an extraction, teeth whitening, composite fillings the works I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Massive thanks to Dr Craig Sinclair and all the staff at both practices for the Amazing work you have done! It means the world to me and I’m so grateful. If you’re ever in need of top notch dentistry give them a shout! I highly recommend them to anyone with any dental issues! Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to the dentist in about 6 years… didn’t realise it wa a that long… last dentist put me off. G1 on the other hand have been brilliant… easy to get an appointment so far, friendly, helpful.. best dentist I’ve been to. Had hygienist visit booked and my mouth hasn’t felt this good in years.. the hygienist (Debbie and Louise) were really good. Very gentle considering they were scraping and grinding 6 years of neglect away… I won’t hesitate to go again… certainly not leaving it 6 years either…bets dentist I’ve ever been to…

Fantastic experience: Best dental practise I’ve ever been to. My dentist is Dr Sharif, he knows my anxiety around dental treatment and does everything he can to make me feel as comfortable as possible and never makes me feel ashamed for my anxiety. Dr Hillary Taylor and Emma have taken such good care of me and they’re always so lovely. Negative experience: Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with this dentists private practice, the Orthodontic Lounge. They keep having the review removed which tells you all you need to know. Firstly, I had Invisalign here and all I can say is Dr Iqbal only cares about how much he can get from you. I was given my treatment plan which was great however Dr Iqbal kept pushing I pay extra for white filings (something that was never discussed prior and nothing I was concerned about) I of course refused as I was paying enough for my Invisalign plan. Then once the very last payment was made, I didn't see Dr Iqbal after this. I was unhappy with 1 tooth after my treatment however I was told ''that's the best we can do'' but at the beginning of my treatment it was a totally different story and I was told they wouldn't let me finish my treatment until I was totally happy. I eventually went back as I was still extremely unhappy with 1 tooth however as stated above I was being seen by a different dentist. Dr Iqbal randomly entered the room during this appointment, whispered something to the other dentist and demanded in a unprofessional tone that I put my mask on. Firstly, I was sat in a dentist chair getting my teeth looked at, I might not be the smartest but pretty sure it would be impossible for me to wear a mask and get my tooth looked at. I also had a family member pass from covid 3 weeks before this appointment so trust me I know how important it is to wear masks. I think the words ''be kind'' are something Dr Iqbal should really consider when speaking with customers as I left this practice in tears. I spoke with the manager regarding the above but this was also pointless as even though I felt totally uncomfortable with him after how he spoke to me, I was told I would NEED to see him and him only. Its unfortunate as I had more treatment I wanted to be done by them but after this, I found a different dentist along with friends and family who have also now left the practice.

Negative experience: I had my filling treatment here, but I also I need to remove teeth and get implant. They recommended me to go for another dentistry which is very expensive and looks new. At the beginning, they told me it will cost £3,000 to get an implant. I accepted this, then when I actually went to that dentistry (which I could not find that place in Google Map), they showed me the price nearly £4,000 (just for an implant). And I have to pay £250 for consultancy and teeth scan. I didn’t feel very well when they also let me sign a paper which shows I accepted the price in a private room. That makes me think: are they just trying to pick some foreigners or other people who don’t know much about the dentist price here, and are willing to pay whatever they need pay? Because I don’t think that looks like a normal price in the UK for getting an implant and removing teeth.

Fantastic experience: G1 provides great service. All its staff are professionals in their area. The admin assistants are so welcoming, always ready to help out. Dentists and hygienists are knowledgeable, explain with such detail every single procedure and outcome. Not to mention the location, in the hear of Glasgow, the City Centre, easy access, nearby public transport links, and just next to Glasgow Queen St Station. If you are looking for a place to take care of your teeth, G1 is that one.

Negative experience: since covid i have constantly emailed and had no response i booked an appointment and was told i would get a courtesy call or text the day prior received nothing so called the day before kept ringing out even though it cleary states on website open till 7pm from 6pm onwards kept getting message this inbox is full cant get any more messages so i emailed again to ask for confirmation of appointment and still heard nothing back so registered at another dentist who answered the phone and also booked me in for an appointment to which straight away i got an email confirmation. thats how it should be done . i still believe i even paid for work prior to covid and never heard anything back about that either. would advise trying another dentist

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to G1 dental for my check ups and for hygiene visits. I highly recommend this practice for anything because everyone is really professional and kind. My dentist Stuart Sloan and his lovely dental nurse Raquel are really good and always happy to explain any treatment or plan. I’ve already started my treatment plan, what are you wanting for? Just give them a call and the lovely receptionist would help you allocating an appointment that suits you!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of G1 Dental for quite a few years now and have found all of my experiences there extremely positive. The staff are all really lovely and attentive. I'm always able to get an appointment quickly even if it's just for a check-up. Aside from check-ups, I've had a scale and polish (NHS) about a year ago and wisdom teeth removal, all four of them (privately with G1 Dental). As I write this, I am recovering from the procedure (It was yesterday) and I am just so glad I went with G1 Dental. The Dentists of whom worked on me, Dr Sharif and Emma were so extremely professional, but also so easy to talk to and calming. Before the appointment, Dr Sharif explained to me what the plan of action was - he also asked which music I'd like to listen to during the procedure - I chose to stick to the steady, chill tropical beats they were playing already. I was a nervous patient going in since I had never had anything done to my teeth apart from a scale and polish, and was shaking at first, but they just spoke to me and really made me feel at ease. I knew I was in good hands - as soon as the chair was lowered, I was calm. Emma kept on checking on me, asking if I was okay, and before I knew it, two of my teeth were removed and not long after the next two. I was given a recovery pack with some gauze, a cold bag and a few instructions whilst Dr Sharif explained to me how to recover well. I was so happy that I went with G1 Dental. I knew I was in safe hands and I think that is really important. I really appreciate the work of Dr Sharif and Emma, the check-up call I received today from the team at reception and I'm looking forward for my appointment next week checking on my healing. I've already recommended G1 Dental to my friends and family, and I recommend them to you too! 5*

Fantastic experience: Recommended full stop. Was dreading my wisdom teeth for years. It took literally 10 minutes. No side effects just very hungry:) I appreciate no individual case is the same but it helps to meet a good doctor. Thank you, Dr Sharif. Would improve attention to admin details at all levels but it doesn't take away from how grateful I am.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in so many years because I’m terrified, so as someone who is neurodivergent and incredibly anxious, dentist trips are nerve wracking. However, the thorough care and kindness shown by Dr Sharif and his assistant Niamh (I’m so sorry if that name is wrong as she deserves just as much credit) was incredible. I will continue to pay private dentist costs for as long as I live as long as it means I get a dentist & nurse like these two stars. If you’re reading this because you’re like me and binge Google reviews at an attempt to quell your fear, please rest assured that this dentist, their nurses and their reception staff will look after you.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed in the service i have received from G1. I started orthodontic treatment with them back in 2017. Had numerous appointments cancelled on me last minute, which delayed treatment, then once we came out of lockdown in July last year i never heard from them at all to resume treatment. I am disappointed that they have not even acknowledged the amount of money i have paid for treatment to then not even have it finished.

Fantastic experience: Changed practice a few months ago, after many years with my previous practice. Can't rate G1 Dental highly enough. All staff I've dealt with have been friendly, efficient and helpful. No long waits for treatment. Very happy with the dental work I've received so far. Definitely recommended.

Negative experience: Good practice but I'm still waiting to hear back about my botched crown after 2 years, so am left with no alternative but to leave a public review. An ex dentist at this practice gave me a poorly fitted crown. I was meant to receive a new one as it was their error but all I got was a temporary crown. Thankfully it was an excellent temporary crown which lasted for over a year. Unfortunately it could only do so much & I eventually lost the tooth earlier this year. At no point did the practice ever contact me about the replacement crown I was owed. They even referred me to another specialist (at my cost) but never followed up with me after that. I was promised a call back at my last appointment to discuss the matter, but that was 6 months back. I have no idea whether this failure in communication was deliberate or accidental but I have no faith in this practices ability to provide follow up care. Basically, great at what they do. But if anything goes wrong youre on your own.

Fantastic experience: Was my first visit to the practice and the staff were lovely. Was told what work needed done and it was completed there on the day. The first time I've had a wisdom tooth out and had no bother afterwards.

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Dr Sloan for a few years and although there are dental surgeries closer to where I live. I wouldn't go anywhere else and have recommended g1 dental to family and friends. I trust Dr sloan and feel he is always very honest and makes me part of the appointment and doesn't recommend work unless actually required. I've had some long term acid erosion on my teeth which was bothering me aesthetically. We discussed options and made a plan of how to decide which required some work and others which were fine for now. I've just had composite bonding on 6 of my upper teeth and they look so much better!!! Dr sloan and his dental nurse were so kind and I'm really pleased with the results

Fantastic experience: Dr Sharif had to deal with a very complex and daunting situation in at least 5 of my teeth. Due to previous mistakes done by other dentists and me being not very careful, I ended up I could hardly chew. Amir is the most professional, caring and meticulous dentist I have ever found. He called me at Christmas because of an infection, he called me during the lockdown to reassure me, he taught me how to take care of dental hygiene and he saved my entire mouth. If he was a restaurant he would receive 5 stars Michelin!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been patients at G1 Dental for 3 years. The practice is clean, modern and bright. The dental team is always friendly and professional. We are always happy with the treatment provided.

Negative experience: This is the worst dentist I have ever visited. I had a root canal treatment done with them which still hursts almost two years after and numerous other specialists visits later. I understand that mistakes and accidents happen, but the way they dealt with the situation afterwards was really unprofessional. At first, they dismissed my pain, and did not tell me that the root canal had a perforation into my sinus, which ended up burning my throat (with a cleaning chemical used in the procedure, similar to bleach) and has caused my cheek and teeth to be extremely painful for a year and even now, almost two years later, it still constantly hurts. Later on, when I decided to find a new dentist, they would not give me the x-rays and appointment notes from my treatment and only weeks later send me the x-rays (and no notes). I really would recommend finding a better dentist. At least 2 years ago it was miserable.

Negative experience: I wouldn't go near this place ulless there is absolutely no others clinic in the city. They told me that you can register as an NHS patient and kept me waiting for several weeks, and when I called them again, they told me you have to wait another 9 weeks. After bringing to their attention that they once said that to me, they set an appointment for me. I think they need to be honest with patients, and if they are unwilling to take on new NHS patients, they should just tell that to your face instead of wasting your time. On the other hand, they would give you same day appointments if you are paying in cash. Basically, all they know is $$. The secretary and the receptionists are very rude and you can feel that in their tone that they don't want to help with your registration. I rarely write these reviews, by I had a terrible experience with them, and thought to share it with you and save you some time.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this dental practice to anybody who is looking for real professionals to take care of their teeth. My eldest son had to get some treatment done as an emergency and G1 Dental could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They told him what was required and made the appointments to suit which during these difficult times was exceptional service. The treatment was carried out and almost a month after the treatment we had to get a detailed receipt for insurance purposes and the lady who my wife spoke to, Caitlin could not have been more helpful and this was emailed to us within 30 minutes.

Negative experience: PreCOVID My dentist Nelson and his rude assistant socialising over my mouth wide open... prescribed unnecessary treatments, missed an infected root canal for 6months of going back and forth, constantly encourage private treatment, very uncomfortable. a year later and never sent the hospital referral...

Fantastic experience: Always really friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Very flexible on travel arrangements and last minute changes which are sometimes unavoidable. Have been able to see the same dentist each time and always felt things were well thought through and explained.
