I would highly recommend this place if you want a safe and calm environment, and are looking for a tailored service. I have been nervous about this appointment for a while, but the consultation was very thorough and inclusive about what was going on.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment with a dentist for a check up. I asked the doctor if she will do an x-ray because I've got a gum disease and I wanted to know how much bone loss I've got. The dentist said they had done one in March the previous year and I didn't need another one now. She just did an x-ray of the tooth I complained about. Then she suggested deep cleaning of my teeth for which I had to pay £48 + £27 for check up. I agreed but everything was so rushed and painful that I felt awful. I felt like a cash machine and not a patient. If that's the new strategy of the practice, I choose not to be their patient. The deep clean took no more than 5 minutes - enough time to lose a patient but surely not enough to clean my teeth properly. Thank you Dr. Sarah Abdelgabar. Yes, I worry too much because that's my health, my teeth and my pain! And I pay enough to be treated better than that.

Fantastic experience: I visit Ash Dental twice a year for a clean and polish. Dentist and her assistant were friendly and professional. Made me comfortable and a thorough clean and polish was carried out.

Negative experience: AVOID, AVOID, AVOID ! I wish to give zero stars if I could. They made false claim of treatment saying deep cleaning of teeth was offered, and asked me to pay band 2 NHS charge for cleaning 1/4 of my teeth within 3 minutes. Researched online, deep cleaning of teeth generally takes 1-2 hours. What they provided is just superficial scale and polishing. Routine cleaning I reconfirmed with the receptionist about the charge and what she said was“it’s up to the dentist”, and now it’s up to me to file a complaint against this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Ok so Dr Gulvash did the implants in November it was a long surgery but pain free I was extremely nervous but the team put me at ease and explained each step of the procedure, I got to even choose type of music Alexa was playing lol, all the work healed up nicely went for a checkup couple of weeks later and she was happy how things were progressing. Today 13th Feb went back to have the implants exposed from the gums this is done for a better look when the teeth are finally put in place a lot shorter appointment a few injections to numb the area and work completed in an hour once again fantastic communication and support, I go back in a couple of weeks for the moulding of the teeth so Dr Gulvash says around 4 more weeks I should be complete with my new look, can’t wait to be able to go out not having to put a denture which I absolutely hate in. If you’re thinking of having it done, go for it it’s a little discomfort and waiting period for unbelievable results and I honestly can’t recommend Dr Gulvash enough she and her assistant go the extra mile and nothing is to much trouble they will support you every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: Been with Ash Dental for years and always find the reception staff, dental nurses, dentists and hygienists so friendly and professional. Had a temporary crown done this morning by Atife (Dentist) and Courtney (Dental Nurse) great experience even though the appointment was for 1hr. Obviously a bit of jaw ache but the work Atife did was comfortable, professional and caring. Courtney was amazing with the suction no uncomfortable bits at the back of your tongue or water running down the back of your throat. She really did take the time and effort to make it as pleasant as possible. Thank you to you both.

Asked for confirmation of some things but didn’t go over all questions I’ve had past hygienists ask. I do find £46.50 very steep for an appointment lasting less than 15 minutes

Negative experience: Never used to have any problems, however recently told me when booking that I had to see existing dentist, then when arrived someone else's appointment was swapped with mine- resulting in me seeing a different dentist anyway. On another occasion had me waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time to call me in, after me chasing up what the delay was.

I’m sure the other dentists are good, but I can only comment at the moment on Atif. However, previous dentists at Ash Dental have also been very good with me in the past.

Negative experience: Over 70 mile drive arrived 10.15 for 10.30 appointment got seen 11.15 first time in over 30 years at ash dental we’ve had to wait so long to been seen, that why only a two star.

Negative experience: Over the past 2 years my appointments have been cancelled 6 times stating my dentist is sick. Week commencing 28.10.24 I have had a further 3 appointments cancelled again stating my dentist is sick. The next appointments are around Christmas time. I have pre paid for treatment that has not been provided and I have now asked to be reimbursed. I have been informed I have to fill a form in and wait for 2 weeks to be reimbursed.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service. Friendly reception staff. Kind & courteous dentist. I am 70 years old, full of arthritis & struggle with stairs. My appointment was upstairs & the lady dentist took my bags & helped me on the stairs. I felt so at ease & my check up was fine on leaving she again helped me down stairs & helped me with my bags. she also stated that for my next appointment she would try & book a room downstairs. The service offered is above & beyond expectation.
