Fantastic experience: My dentist was Dr Syed Ahmed for 12 years. He is a great dentist, who treats his patients with respect and is a very pleasant man. The surgery is welcoming, professional and kind. I would have no hesitation recommending this practice.

The doctor hygienist Nias provided me with great service, cleaned my teeth thoroughly, answered my questions and exhaled my expectation. Fantastic experience: Brilliant Dentists, my Dentist who is Syed and the dental Nurse Alysha I think her name was have been fab with both me, my husband and my children! My kids don’t worry about going to the Dentist at all because collectively Syed and Alysha have made it a place they feel comfortable and happy to go.

Negative experience: I was refered here by my dentist to have a tooth extracted. The dentist that I saw didn't seem to care that I was still in pain even after the anesthetic. I was almost in tears before they had finished. They didn't let the wound clot over before removing the gauze so I ended up with Dry socket. I am highly disappointed. I WILL NOT be going again.

Fantastic experience: What can I say... From the moment me and my family walked into reception we were greeted by a very friendly reception team who checked us in for our appointment. When we saw Dr syeda Seema and her colleagues we were put at ease straight away as they discussed with us what has been happening with my siblings mouth. After an X-ray we discussed treatment options which after alot of discussion it was decided for my sibling to have 2 teeth removed instead of a root canal. Within 20 minutes both teeth were removed with the help of another dentist who was also very professional and very helpful. Overall the experience was fantastic the staff could not of been more helpful and friendly they all did an amazing job with all that they did for us. We will be coming again soon.

I needed 3 teeth extracted and wasn't looking forward to having them removed due to past traumatic experience with other dental surgeries. Fantastic experience: Called at 8am, my 8 year old daughter had an issue with painful tooth and gum. Got in for an emergency appointment that day and Syed the dentist and his assistant were absolutely brilliant. Spotted the tiny cavity, explained to my daughter exactly what they were gonna do. Filled it and we were in and out in 10mins!

First appt was 8.50 to assess a broken tooth and then asked to return at 11am to rebuild the broken tooth. Friendly and professional and more importantly, a pain free procedure. Fantastic experience: I have suffered with major anxiety and fear of dentists since I was very young. However, I had a bad tooth that I had to get looked at and I was recommended Pennypot Deal. I can honestly say this is such a lovely surgery, all the staff I encountered are kind, caring and helpful. I had to have a tooth removed which I've never had done awake (only under sedation) and they talked everything through with me, held my hand and made it as easy as possible for me to cope with it. The two dentists who did my procedure are superb and I really felt looked after. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth problem on Friday afternoon and I felt the need to comment about my treatment by Pennypot Dental. I emailed the surgery and within 10 minutes they phoned me back saying please get here before we close and your dentist Dr Bopanna will see you. I arrived and within 20 minutes was sat in the chair receiving the urgent treatment required. Some 40 minutes later I was on my way home after receiving brilliant first class treatment from Dr Bopanna. When Pennypot Dental opened I was one of the very first to register with them and they are the best dentist I have ever used in my 74 years. My praise also goes to the reception staff who were excellent in dealing with my situation. Simply put I cannot recommend Pennypot highly enough, first class.

Today my treatment was with the hygienist Neas, he cleaned my teeth very thoroughly with great care , l will definitely be continuing the six month visit without hesitation, my teeth felt great today. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today and needed a tooth removed. Unfortunately I was unwell immediately after the removal. The staff were outstanding, they were kind , re- assuring and dealt with the situation in a compassionate manner. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone. He takes the time to explain procedures and allows for a plan to be decided on rather than telling you what he will do. I continue to feel comfortable and confident in the care he provides. The dental nurse was very kind and offered support when needed to my son. The ladies on reception were lovely and friendly too. 10/10 for sure.

Fantastic experience: Just had an extraction: my experience from the booking of the appointment to being in the chair was incredibly positive. The dental nurse understood I was petrified and was incredibly kind and reassuring. She kept checking I was OK. The dentist was calm, kind and professional. The receptionist was so lovely when I missed my initial appointment and showed real compassion for my predicament rather than being a stickler for the rules. I have been with Penny Pot for years and years (the Hythe branch first) and I am so grateful to all of the staff there. They really are wonderful!!

I can honestly say I was totally put at ease, he was really gentle explained everything he was doing step by step. He reassured me throughout. We were amazed and very proud of my daughter. After 2 long failed attempts at other practices. This one is incredible and put her at ease as she was scared.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at the dentist and was checked in by the most pleasant and polite receptionists. I had barely sat down and was called to see the dentist. The dentist listened to my problem, checked my tooth and X-rayed the tooth. The X-ray showed a cracked wisdom tooth. I went back to the reception and paid and was told when a appointment was available. This was a wonderful experience and hopefully everything will soon be sorted. Well done Pennypot, it was a pleasure to be seen and dealt with so professionally and still with a human touch.

Fantastic experience: As someone who walked into Pennypots physically shaking and walked out with an unbelievable weight off my shoulders I can certainly attest to just how wonderful they are, the reception staff are helpful, polite and very approachable and Dr.Bopanna and his assistant were amazing, truely patient, listened to all of my worries and concerns and completely put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency, and as I’m new to Walmer and not yet registered with a dentist, I decided to phone around and see which dentist could help me. Luckily Pennypot was the first ones I phoned and very helpfully were able to fit me in the next day. I am very pleased with all aspects of my visit, the receptionists and the excellent dentist. Negative experience: In general I find the reception not too friendly (although the new young girl did her best to help me). The dentist left my 5-year old with a wobbly tooth with a major cavity after 3 injections of local anaesthetic. Whilst I appreciate removing a young child's tooth isn't easy, its far better than leaving a child in absolute agony for what would have been 5 months before our 'emergency referral' at the hospital where he would have undergone general anaesthetic, which also carries major risks. Have now left the surgery. ** update ** over 4 years later my new dentist referred my son (without telling me) to pennypot for some extractions prior to his brace being fitted. They claimed ‘not to have received the referral’ when I called to check even though my dentist assured me it had been done. When I called back a month later for an update they said they still hadn’t had it. Then miraculously they ‘found it’, refused treatment (entirely expected) and referred it back into the community. Whilst I’m not concerned and understand why they have chosen not to see him, they have chosen petty, spiteful and entirely unprofessional behaviour to waste 2/3 months, which has delayed my sons brace work by 3 months. Pathetic. For the record they have chosen not to respond to my initial review or take on board any of my legitimate concerns, they simply ‘blacklisted’ my whole family after not removing my original review. That’s not a business that has their customers best interests at heart. Comply and do not complain if you wish to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous having a 'specialist surgeon' extract a large back tooth but the treatment was pain-free and the molar was out in no time! The surgeon, dental nurse and reception staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My partner and I are both patients here she’s had some issues with her teeth but the staff from the reception team to Dr Ali have been so accommodating fitting us in at the earliest possible appointment and trying everything to fix the issues. My partner is nervous of the dentist but since going here and seeing dr ali she’s no longer nervous it’s such a calm atmosphere and he’s very calm, reassuring and understanding.
