Fantastic experience: Although I have been a patient at the Fourways Dental Surgery for 50 years, Fergus Duvnall is my current dentist also Helen Wilson being his Dental nurse. Last year, I had my front bottom teeth tipped with white fillings due to them wearing away. Even though, I was really pleased initially, the tips wore away too. Therefore, after discussing my options with Fergus, I decided to have all my existing teeth crowned. Despite the fact that it was quite a long journey, it was well worth it. The incredible work and attention to detail I have received from Fergus has been outstanding. He is such a caring dentist, making you feel at ease and wants nothing but the best for you. Prior to having my teeth crowned I was quite self-conscious of my smile. Now I have fabulous, natural looking teeth. My smile has been transformed and I couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Fergus and Helen his nurse.

Fantastic experience: Fergus was very punctual. He started my routine inspection on time, was thorough, courteous throughout and explained carefully what he was doing. My visit was over and I was back on the street in less than 15 minutes.

Fantastic experience: After fearing a trip to the dentist knowing I was in for a hygienist clean, check up and possible tooth extraction I was put at ease by Avi and her team who were welcoming, professional, and informative. Talking me through the whole process and making sure I was ok all the way through the tooth extraction helped ease the nerves at the time and made it so much easier and a pain free experience for which I am so thankful for.

Fantastic experience: If you are thinking of having implants and are nervous…… go see Alex Tahalani at Fourways Dental Practice. He puts you at ease, is very gentle and although I had to go through a sinus lift before Alex could do my implants it was well worth it. I should have had it done years ago. I am absolutely thrilled with my implants and looking at them you wouldn’t even know they were implants as Alex did an amazing job of matching them with my own teeth. Fantastic experience: November 2024: my newly fitted crown had unfortunately come loose a few days ago, whilst I was having a meal (with nothing hard in it, I hasten to add). Fortunately I did not swallow it, and so I was able to make an immediate appointment at Fourways Dental Clinic to deal with the problem. The crown is now now back in place, and I am confident that it will stay in place this time - with the recent loosening having been an unusual occurrence. I am very grateful for this being rectified so quickly. Further comment 25 March 2025: unfortunately the crown did come out again, and so the decision was taken to replace it with a new one, this time including a peg. Further comment 8 April 2025: the replacement crown with peg was fitted in place on 2 April, and has settled in comfortably. I am now confident that this will remain in place, and that I will soon forget it isn't a natural tooth. I must complement Aviva Riley and her staff for dealing with the problem I was having with the original crown, and replacing it so quickly with an effective one. Further comment 11 June 2025: I had a check-up this morning, and the replacement crown with peg has indeed remained in place, without any problems. I am very pleased that this problem has now been resolved, and therefore return Fourways to their five-star rating.

I was really impressed with the communication from the clinic, very quickly getting called back and booked in the same day, when it suited me. Both Milan and Oksana made me feel at ease (I'm a nervous patient!) and I even found myself laughing during the appointment! Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at fourways for around 20 years and have been seen by various dentists but i am so pleased to now be under Avi's care. I have recently had problems with a broken tooth and Avi has been a miracle worker. Having thought the tooth was irreparable Avi assured me that it was definitly not and saved it without any pain or discomfort. Avi and her nurse Sarah have always been friendly caring and professional and I would recommend anyone to her especially if you have any fear of dentists you will be treated with the utmost gentleness.

Fantastic experience: A very friendly and welcoming surgery! The ladies on reception were inviting and pleasant. Put my 5 year old son Zachary at ease straight away. Lots a lot of smiling happy people working there that were not dealing with us directly but that were still pleasant and said hello. It makes all the difference. The surgery itself was clean and tidy and “very posh and homely” according to my son. The dentist (upstairs and the room on the left) was very happy and chatty, again putting my son at ease and explaining what was happening to both him and me. Taking the time to explain something and actually write it down so that we could look into the issue further if we wanted to. I feel like I may book myself an appointment I just need to remember the dentists name! A few quotes from Zach from the visit- “The garden looks lovely” “It smells nice in here” “Its like a nice house” “I liked wearing those glasses daddy, I looked cool”

Negative experience: Had to have a deep filling when my tooth cracked about 3 months back. Took about 15 minutes to fill and on my way. Started hurting a few days later again. I had to travel, so saw another dentist there, and they were less than impressed at the work (X ray showed a cavity remained). They drilled it out and refilled over the course of 2 hours and its now fine. Maybe just a random bad experience but I paid for something that had to be redone elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I came here today for the first time as a new patient with a problem with a tooth. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There are comfortable seats in the waiting rooms and a television on for those that are interested. The dentist I saw gave my tooth a thorough visual check and then took an x ray. After drilling out the existing filling and seeing how far into the root the decay had gone, I decided on an extraction. It was the first time I'd had a tooth removed without sedation. It went so smoothly that I didn't realise the tooth was out. This practice is more expensive than where I went previously but the extra expense was well worth it.

Myself and child get fantastic service, my child is welcomed and encouraged to not be afraid and actually has ended up finding it an enjoyable experience thanks to the wonderful team here. He made me comfortable at each appointment, answering any questions I had. At age 68 this is the most professional & friendly dental practice I’ve attended. Fantastic experience: A very good visit, as usual, to our Dentist yesterday. We arrived early Ona freezing day and were greeted by a cheerful receptionist. Whilst sitting in the waiting room Avi came in to call her next patient and insisted we had a hot cup of tea while awaiting our appointments, which was very welcome on a cold day. As my wife cannot manage the stairs the practice arranged for her to be seen on the ground floor by both Avi and Vicky, the hygienist. As always we were both treated with professionalism by both Avi and Vicky. We were at all times addressed by our Christian names by all staff which to us is just what we would like. On completion of our check ups and hygienist treatment we were checked in for our next visit by the friendly receptionist. Well done Fourways Dental Practice.
