Fantastic experience: It was my first time going to this dentist and trying a new practise. I rang to book an appointment due to being in a lot of pain and experiencing severe sensitivity, was offered an appointment a couple of days later which was convenient! I am a very anxious patient when it comes to the dentist and all of the team made sure I felt completely comfortable and welcomed when entering the practise and throughout my treatment. I was able to bring someone along with me to sit in while I was undergoing treatment and the dentist and assistant were ensuring that I felt calm at all times. I will 100% be returning to this practise in the future and feel pleasantly surprised and relived after my visit today with how simple and pain free the process was.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous when I initially phoned for an appointment and I really shouldn’t have been. The receptionist was so kind and reassuring, she also explained all the prices to me so I didn’t need to ask. When I saw Maxwell and his assistant they were extremely understanding of how nervous I was and took plenty of time to explain the procedures that were available to me. I am so very glad I chose to go to this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Botha worked his magic again! I was seen the same day as I rang, for an emergency appointment. Fixed a plate, filed a tooth and repaired a broken tooth, all in 45 mins. And at a fair price, which unfortunately is important for me. What I don't understand is how he can work on a tooth within a minute of an injection, I felt no pain, but the numbness had cleared by the time I was home. He has an extremely calming nature, has all the high tech gear, does everything to save your teeth, and is an absolute magician at what he does. All this is coming from someone who had a phobia of dentists before visiting him. As good as it gets!! Although... be prepared for the most eclectic choice of background music you could possibly imagine!!

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Valley Dental-as a new patient, was fantastic. A welcoming dental practice not only visually but staff to. A friendly greeting and a short wait. Maxwell, was attentive and talked through my x-rays. I was lucky to still have no fillings or extra work but a polish and clean which was very thorough. I would highly recommend this practice. Fantastic experience: Valley road Dental Practice have been superb so far I've only been with them a year but I used to hate going to the dentist on the NHS but going private has been a eye opener, yes it's more expensive but you get what you pay for I guess and now it's almost a pleasure to go to the dentist I certainly don't hate it anymore Dr Maxwell Botha is exceptionally good at his job, brilliant !! I recently had an appointment with Gracie the hygienist and again was superb tells you what she is doing and gives advice on how to clean your teeth 5 stars .

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely scared of dentists due to a bad experience years ago. Maxwell Botha made me feel at ease, explained everything thoroughly and was very gentle. I know the costs are higher than NHS plus you can get an appointment straight away, but the service is amazing and I would rather that than feeling anxious and upset. I will definitely stay with this dentist, from the moment you walk through the day until the moment I left my anxiety was nowhere to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Philippa today and then a check up with maxwell Botha. I always love my hygienist visits. Philippa is so lovely and always makes me feel great after. It was my first appointment with Maxwell today. He also made me feel really calm as I do get anxious. It was a really good experience so hopefully I’ll be more relaxed on my next visit.

Fantastic experience: My crown fell out and my dentist wasn't around to fix it. I called Valley Dental Practice and they saw me the same day and fixed my crown perfectly . They were fantastic including the receptionists who were the best I have ever come across.

Fantastic experience: I am not very keen on seeing a dentist but maxwell who I saw yesterday was amazing, not only a lovely man but also a brilliant dentist, sorted my broken tooth within the hour. Not even any discomfort during or after. Definitely recommended .

Fantastic experience: I really appreciate the care shown by Dr Botha Jnr. Repairing my crown that fell out. I called and left a message to say what had happened and the surgery called me within the hour to say I could have a cancellation that had come up that morning. I was so grateful for the help and the treatment was 11/2 hrs as I also needed a filling which only came to light as the crown had come out, it was all done and was a very gentle treatment, thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I am petrified of the dentist but had to go due to a problem. The dentist Maxwell was very considerate towards my anxiety, he was calm, quiet and gave reassurance. He kept checking I was OK throughout the treatment. The TV on the ceiling to watch during treatment was a really helpful distraction. All staff were lovely, friendly and patient. I have had half of the treatment and have to go back in a week for the rest and feel much more confident about returning. The surgery is very nicely set out and immaculately presented.
