When I have an appointment with him I be happy because he gives me all the attention and explains everything to me about my teeth. Negative experience: My experience not good Made appointments for Hygienist and general check-up. Paid deposit. As I am having treatment for cancer had to cancel but gave more than the required notice. Refund promised. Then call from Amber asking for my credit card sort code and account details etc. Everybody knows that credit cards do not have a sort code so in my opinion just delaying tactics. Email requesting refund ignored. Still have no refund but fortunately I am a solicitor so will now issue proceedings in the small claims court. The amount is only £138 suggest beware of relying upon a refund of any deposit paid to these people.

Positive experience: Excellent service from a professional dentist (Ishtar) and nurse (Marilena). They did a wonderful job of replacing old fillings and fixing a chipped tooth. Everything was explained clearly to me and they used modern techniques to do repairs that will last. If I have a gripe (and I can see this becoming a major beef) it is with deposits. While I am happy to pay a short term deposit, I am very reluctant to give deposits for appointments that could be months away.

Positive experience: Sadly I have lost trust in this dental practice since it has been sold on, very expensive and confusing with advice given that I couldn’t trust, honestly it felt like the priority is maximising how much money they can get out of you.

He always explains everything clearly and makes sure I’m comfortable throughout. Everyone there is super friendly, and the whole experience feels easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and professional surgery where everything was explained thoroughly as I am a new patient.

Negative experience: Dentist not interested.in doing a front filling that feel out or another filling on bottom ,due to fact i have Bruxism was told if have the front tooth done it might break. It looks unsightly and I keep put my tongue in gap and tongue gets sore plus the tooth could break. Anyhow, I can't eat properly. I'm quite upset .. I was recommended by a friend to go here. I had a tooth removed and that was ok but It seems thats all any dentist wants to do nowt else. Suggested I go private , but it's finding someone who will do it. (Been searching for years ) It's beyond me y any dentist don't know of anyone to treat Brusixm patients. Every time I've been ,I see a different dentist. You never build up a rapport. It's bad as the doctors. If you haven't got Bruxism , and you got "normal teeth '. Your be ok here . The receptionist Amber is a lovely girl. .

Fantastic experience: Really welcoming and warm receptionists. The dentist Dr. Rishi Thakerar was brilliant, really informative. Explained in good detail what issues I had and made a plan to get them fixed. I had an appointment with the hygienist Arghavan and Nurse Dora. They were both excellent! Really efficient and causes no discomfort. I was told they were using a new technique which is a lot more comfortable and causes much less pain and they were right. The process was quick and painless, I'd highly recommend this treatment. They were also lovely and gave me lots of really useful information to keep my teeth clean. I've also just had a large filling done by Rishi Thakerar. He and nurse Anna were brilliant. Did a fantastic job, I couldn't be happier. Tooth was a bit of a mess, not sure how they did it but it looks like new now. Really happy to have found this practice. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a hygienist appointment with their new water technique which was much more comfortable than my previous hygienist appointments using the older methods. Amber was excellent when I arrived, checking me in, and I was seen quickly by Arghavan and her nurse Madelina. They showed and explained throughout what they were doing and I was very well looked after during it all. Amber then helped me book my next appointment and everything was nice and easy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a truly excellent experience with my dentist Rishi and receptionist Amber. From the moment I walked in, Amber made me feel welcome with her warm, friendly, and professional approach. Rishi is equally friendly and highly professional, but what really impressed me was the thoughtful and effective treatment plan he created for my teeth. He started with the most urgent issues, addressing the worst areas first, and gradually worked toward improving both function and appearance. By the end of the process, he also enhanced the aesthetics of my front teeth — something that made a huge difference to my confidence. Every step of the way was comfortable, clear, and surprisingly enjoyable. Now, I actually look forward to my regular check-ups every six months. I can’t thank Rishi and Amber enough for making this such a positive journey!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO INTO THIS DENTAL PRACTICE!! THIS WAS ADVERTISED ON INSTAGRAM SAYING THEY TAKE ON NEW NHS PATIENTS - what an awful dental practice. It was chaos and disorganised. Went for my first dental appointment on the NHS. The dentist Israt was already 45mins late and did my mouth examination which was only examination and X-rays - no scale polish or application of fluoride as stated on the NHS dental charges. She kept telling me to see the hygienist which would be private and to order a mouth guard which is available privately. I know that I need fillings and what is the point of having treatments on the NHS when you are not getting a proper decent dental treatment. I was in and out in 5-10mins. I would not return back to this practice again and might as well go privately to get a better service and treatment elsewhere. It was such a waste of my morning and completely ruined my whole day! :(

He took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease my nerves. Fantastic experience: My son and I are very happy with the time that was given by Michael in the dental check up, x-rays, examination and discussion on my son's lifestyle and habits affecting his teeth. Nothing was rushed and everything felt relaxed, and we felt that a good relationship was being formed between us and our new dentist, and that Michael was really getting to know my son's teeth, and we felt confident that we are getting the best up to date treatment, advise and care from a well experienced and skilled dentist. The environment is very clean and organised, and I could see that this surgery is very modern and uses up to date methods in dentistry, and the staff we spoke to were very professional, courteous, engaging and friendly. Being with a good dentist who I can trust and one that I am really confident in, is extremely important for me, and I am really happy that my whole family's dental care is being looked after here.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extraction by Dr Kajal. I was very nervous as it was my first ever extraction but everything went very smoothly thanks to Dr Kajal and her lovely nurse Donya. Very professionally done!! Thank you both.

Negative experience: Very happy with practice when Alex was there as a dentist. Very different atmosphere now. Reception and hygienist staff always helpful but appears to be a high turnover of staff! Prices are very high: £140 for the new system used by the hygienist in which we had no choice. I was told several times that it was to pay for their equipment . I was quoted £850 for three fillings this week( two small) whether by a dentist or when told it would be a therapist / hygienist doing these fillings and that that was now within their remit. No reduction of price for not having a dentist carry out this even though I was told the price was because this dentist was very specialist. Having asked several other dental practices for their charges no one has quoted anywhere near these costs. I was later called and told that I could have DB price bands as I couldn’t afford their other prices! I have now left and registered with another practice The new practice manager has emailed all my treatments to me to forward

My daughter Sofiia always feels comfortable and safe in his hands, and he knows exactly how to work with children — with patience, warmth, and a gentle approach. Her teeth were treated with great precision and care. We're very grateful to have such a skilled and kind dentist for our daughter and highly recommend Dr. Rishi to other families!

Fantastic experience: After 4 times, I highly recommend to book all your dental appointments in Dental Beauty Southgate but specially with Dr Michael Orlans. He is simply outstanding and good with the kids as well, flexible with after school appointments. My son is really happy to come back there every time. For me, in the same day he resolved my dental problems, he didn’t even split the appointment in different parts like everybody does unless it’s necessary, he directly went for a solution. He knows what he is doing. He is our dental hero. 100% recommended.

Negative experience: Really disappointed with my experience at Dental Beauty Southgate due to lack of price transparency and poor patient care. I recently moved to the area and registered due to the great reviews. The dental check ups have been fine but the unprofessionalism of the hygienist appointments are the reason for the low review. I joined and had a hygienist appointment 6 months ago. It was fine but heavily focussed on selling the latest technology they use for the cleans. I made another appointment and paid a deposit. At the latest appointment they tried to charge me more than the price provided on booking, and more than the price shown on the website. They eventually honoured the price I expected but not without debate. Regardless of the lack of price transparency the whole appointment was an ordeal. I was completely soaked with the equipment they used, even my forehead was wet. In addition to this, despite explaining I have an autoimmune condition and have poor use of my hands during the flare up I was experiencing the hygienist tried to make me hold up a mirror so they could show me whilst they did the clean, they were quite pushy with this until I literally had to just put the mirror down due to the pain in my hands. Honestly I’m left quite shocked and had the price not been reduced to honour the price I expected I would have had to pay £136 for the ordeal.

Fantastic experience: Today went to hygienist and saw Arghavan and had a good clean telling me how to clean my teeth use dental floss the correct way and help prevent tooth decay. The treatment was high pressure water and no pain at all I would highly recommend you visiting dental beauty Southgate warm friendly people.

From the moment we walked into the clinic, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the receptionists are just so wonderful to deal with. The staff as a whole were incredibly friendly, and the environment was perfectly suited for children, making my nine year old daughter feel comfortable right away. Dr Rishi took the time to explain everything in a way that was reassuring and easy for my daughter to understand, ensuring she felt completely at ease. What could have been a stressful visit to extract two teeth, was turned into a positive experience thanks to the personalised care and gentle approach from that staff at Dental Beauty Southgate which made all the difference. We even received an after-care call which was very sweet and appreciated. It’s clear that Dr Rishi genuinely cares about his young patients, he made sure to be the consistent point of contact for us to put my daughter at ease and I’m so grateful for the patience and kindness he showed. If you’re looking for a fantastic child-friendly practice that goes above and beyond, this is the place to go!

Dr. Kumar and Lori were fantastic in figuring out exactly what was going on with my teeth. The technology they use is next level – it’s not just about checking your teeth but understanding them on a deeper level, which made me feel more confident about the work that needed to be done. To be fair I was a bit shocked by the prices at first, but once I saw how much care and top-tier tech they use, it honestly is worth it. It’s great that everything’s done in-house, so you’re not being sent all over the place for different scans or treatments for an uncertain answer after it all. It really does make a difference when it comes to looking after your dental hygiene in the long run. I also had a hygiene visit with Dr. Arghavan and Nurse Marilena, and they were both so pleasant. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and did an amazing job with the cleaning and tests. I could tell they knew their stuff and made sure I understood everything. Silvia also deserves a mention, she was fantastic at explaining everything to me and made sure I felt good about the process, even with all the forms and paperwork. And Amber, who was there both times I went, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which is exactly what you want when you walk into a dental office, especially after not being to one for a while. It honestly made the whole experience feel a lot more relaxed. Overall, I’m just really impressed with how everything went. The whole team at Dental Beauty Southgate is amazing, and I can’t shout out Lori and Dr. Kumar enough – they really stood out for me and made me feel like I was in the best hands. Definitely recommend the whole team if you’re looking for quality care and a friendly environment!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience. Arhavan and Marilena made me feel so at ease during my hygienist appointment. As well as Silvia always being such a delight when I walk in for my appointments.

Negative experience: Alex Adams was a great dentist but now retired. I was called one hour before my pre-paid (£99) Hygenist appointment to be told they no longer offer this service (!) but instead a better more advanced Hygenist service which costs a further £76.50. I booked the appointment 2 weeks ago through a link on their email and suddenly the prices have risen by 75%!! This is no longer the decent dental practice it used to be - it is now purely a vehicle for selling cosmetic treatments. They have been trying to get me to agree to various unnecessary treatments for the past year. To add injury to insult the refund (since they cancelled the appointment when I refused to pay extra) will take another 3 weeks. AVOID AVOID AVOID... they are only after your money NOT your dental welfare.

Negative experience: I've been coming here for years, when it was Adam's, I came on recommendation as a nervous patient, it was amazing, I soon lost my fear of the dentist and I was happy to pay reasonable private prices for good work, even Dee had receptionist awards! Ten years later it is now Dental Beauty, an aggressively sales-focused, profit over patients, cosmetic dental surgery. It's horrible and it's not what I'd call a dentist anymore. My whole family are leaving. EDIT after business response: No, you use the 'latest equipment' purely so you can say you're using the latest equipment and charge extra regardless of whether it's actually better at the job or not. You charged my mum double for her teeth cleanings, no warning about price changes, the new method is no better and no more comfortable but it makes you feel you can charge a premium. You frightened my brother to death with a hugely expensive scare-mongering treatment plan and then bamboozled him into paying a non-refundable deposit with no cooling-off period. His second and third opinions at other well-regarded dentists deny any of what he was told is true or needed. Disgraceful on every level, you're everything that's wrong with the modern world. Aesthetics over health, profit over care, you can destroy people's teeth to give them veneers pretty well, but can't medically take care of their real ones. I hope you go out of business.

Negative experience: Been asked by the Dalston branch to contact the Southgate branch. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t call back if you request not to wait in the queue, they don’t respond to answer phone messages and finally when they did answer they put the phone down.

Negative experience: Very nice facilities but won't go back to this practice. I found one of the receptionist very arrogant and patronising and the dentist although had a nice manner just suggested a few extractions which were dimmed unnecessary by a different practice. Went to a different practice and had my tooth treated instead and saved. Just as many others leaving reviews I feel they are just after your money more than really caring about your teeth.

Negative experience: - the dental beauty Greenwich website has the Southgate number on, I had to travel so far to get to Southgate - the dentist found no issue and just didn’t take my pain seriously. My next dentist somewhere else found a crack. - I got upsold on everything and ended up spending so much money - the hygienist did a bad job and my next dentist showed on an x ray that I needed more scaling. - I got given an incomplete invoice and the website says I still owe money when I paid almost double what they have claimed (£337.30 as an nhs patient). Reception aren’t responding to my emails. - I have had nearly a week of the most intense pain as a result - I genuinely think this dentists might be a scam, I will be complaining when my pain is resolved

Negative experience: I paid £50 for a dental check which lasted 4 mins! Apparently my teeth are fine. No cleaning or measuring gum depths. Then I discovered my hygienist left in May and no one notified me at 6 months to come. I was formerly coming every 4 months. Don’t exactly feel cared for or looked after.

Positive experience: When I arrived I was informed of a new hygienist practice costing more than TWICE the price of previous with no option to have the original service. Customers were not informed of this by email, web text or call which is an absolute disgrace. I was told all reception staff had been SACKED, just like Dee had been from the original surgery months before and that nurses were delivering the information. I can’t believe I have no options or opinions at the surgery any longer and am questioning my return to what used to be a great dental practice (Adam’s) and now seems to be just for profit and surgical focus including fillers rather than the care of teeth

Negative experience: I've got no complaints about the dentists I've seen, but my experience with hygienist appointments has been atrocious. Last time (six months ago), they cancelled my appointment days before, let me rebook for the same week, and then two days later cancelled that one too and didn't offer another appointment until a week later when I couldn't go. No offer of compensation or anything. Now, I show up for my appointment only to be told they've nearly doubled the price of their hygienist appointmens because they've adopted some newfangled teeth cleaning process and no longer offering the older method. Now I have to look for a new practice because I can't/won't pay nearly £140 for a single hygienist appointment.

Negative experience: AVOID AT ALL COST. I have been going to this dentist for years but since they changed from Adams dental it’s all gone downhill. They’re a bunch of scammers, there fees don’t reflect the work either! Their receptionist is so rude and incompetent. They charge nearly double then other dentists. It’s so sad to see Adams dental turn into what it is now

Negative experience: Book an appointment with my dentist in 2 weeks time. They called me earlier (1 week before) to ask me if i can attend TODAY AFTERNOON appointment as there was a patient who has cancelled his appointment. I told them I can tried to attend today as I'm away from home and it would take me an hour plus to reach there. I left work early to attend the appointment but due to high traffic congestion I was not going to make, I called them an hour in advance to let them know I could not make it. Unexpectedly they told me, I should not make the appointment and blaming me for it. They also asked me to pay cancellation charges, otherwise they would removed me from the practice. I told them I am not paying anything as you have called last minute and requesting me to attend the appointment, I try my best to attend but due to high congestion I could make it. Both the receptionist and the surgery manager were arrogant and disrespectful. I felt because of my race they treated me like an ANIMAL. The dentists at the surgery are young dentists with no experience, they do not value and respect patients views. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Negative experience: signed up to Adams dentist 11/04/24 as a NHS patient. I had a scan so a teeth protector could be made and worn at night to stop wear and tear to teeth. This cost me £300. I was advised to book a hygenist appt. I tried to book an appointment on 10/09/24. I made an appointment for 22/10/24 and to my horror was asked to pay £180 before my appointment could be booked. I told the receptionist that I would pay at the time of hygenist appointment. She said if i did not pay, she would cancel booking. Beware, Prices seem very high for NHS patients. Please read all customer reviews before signing up with this dentist. And by the way, my hygenist appointment was cancelled. Steve.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth taken out today by Dr Sripal and it was an absolute blast. Didn’t feel a thing, didn’t even realise he’d pulled it out till he showed it to me! It’s been a few hours but I’ve had no numbness, pain, swelling or discomfort - haven’t bitten my cheek accidentally either, Dr Sripal and the entire Dental Beauty team really are tip top, top customer service and top dental professionals.

Fantastic experience: Great surgery, very welcoming staff Doctor Rishi very competent, explained everything clearly, has a great approach. Assistant Marinela (I’m sorry if I’m wrong!) is very warm and kind. I will definitely come back to this clinic!

Fantastic experience: I have always struggled with dental anxiety however I instantly felt welcomed when arriving by the receptionist symoney who was very kind and informative , I saw Dr Adeeb Parkar and his nurse Maria who were both very friendly and professional they helped calm my anxiety as well as doing a throrough assessment , I am very happy with this practice and will be going forwards with them couldn’t recommend enough !

Fantastic experience: I recently had an emergency appointment for my mum, who had a fracture in her temporary implant-retained bridge. Dr. Sripal Kumar, along with his nurse Lori and the rest of the Dental Beauty team, were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Despite the complexity of the case and our impending travel plans, they managed to resolve everything within a week. I really could not recommend them more: very professional and with extensive experience. Will definitely be back in the future!

Negative experience: My family has been coming here for several years. The dentist and hygienist services are very good in a clean and modern setting. However, they now charge an unreasonable £40 fee to make an appointment for any service, supposedly as a precaution against no-shows. Since we've never missed an appointment, I find this fee insulting and unreasonably excessive. I strongly urge the practice to reconsider this policy.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend Adeeb and Maria for a dental check up. Adeeb was very informative and thorough at the appointment, ensuring all the relevant scans had been done before adivisng on future treatment, which he explained very clearly. Maria was very helpful and friendly, nothing was ever too much. Feel like I am in safe hands going forward with my dental treatment and a big thank you to them both.

Fantastic experience: Had a emergency with my tooth which was giving me extreme distress and pain. After searching around endlessly, I found dental beauty and spoke to Laila who spoke to me with compassion and comforted me that I would be looked after and fit me in promptly with NHS dentist Dr Parkar who immediately discovered the problem that was giving me so much stress and causing me problems with tooth and severe pain to my tongue. The premises are so beautiful and well kept. The doctor treated me with dignity and compassion, I felt safe and secure that I had excellent top class treament today by doctor Parkar! I would highly recommend Dr Parkar for high class treatment as he treated me with kindness and care which caused me to leave content and happy

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and I’m v happy to finally find a place that is accepting NHS patients! The receptionists are friendly and helpful both in person and over the phone. Highly recommend this practice !

Negative experience: Beware went in to have a filling repaired, instead ended up in more pian. I complained was booked in for an emergency appointment to then be told I needed root canal and a crown costing over £2000 and they also had the nerve to charge me for the emergency appointment. Thankfully got a second opinion and found it was completely unnecessary. Appalling service would not go near the place.

Negative experience: Unprofessional behavior exhibited by your receptionists during my recent visit to your facility. Regrettably, I found their conduct to be unacceptable and deeply concerning. During my visit on 19 Feb, I encountered two separate instances of unprofessionalism from your reception staff. Firstly, the receptionist who handled my initial booking displayed a dismissive and discourteous attitude towards me, which was both unwarranted and disrespectful, particularly in the presence of other patients. The receptionist repeatally said my daughter is band from the practice because she couldn't make the appointment. Furthermore, my interaction with the second receptionist, who appeared preoccupied with a phone call, left me feeling unsure if I had inadvertently caused offense. Subsequently, I was shocked to learn that this receptionist had made false claims about my behavior, accusing me of rudeness, which I vehemently deny. I respectfully request that your management thoroughly review the recording of these interactions to ascertain the accuracy of events. It is imperative that appropriate action be taken to address this matter and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of your staff, which has caused me significant distress and dissatisfaction with the level of service provided. Furthermore, I am considering escalating this issue to the NHS and leaving a negative review of your facility if it is not resolved satisfactorily. I firmly believe that training and corrective measures are necessary to ensure that all staff members communicate with patients in a professional and respectful manner. Therefore, I request that this complaint be forwarded to Dr. Amit Prabodh Devlukia for his attention and appropriate action.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at the dental surgery. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the dentist, along with the dental nurses, were amazing. The receptionist, Dee, stood out with her kindness, making my mother feel comfortable by even preparing a cup of tea during her wait. The efficiency and helpfulness were truly commendable.
