Fantastic experience: I had a major fear of going to the dentist due to a bad experience as a child, and because of this, I hadn’t been to a dentist for 17 years. After developing toothache, I eventually had no choice but to see a dentist, and was originally referred to windle house through the NHS 111 service. I saw Stephen, who immediately put me at ease, and who I didn’t feel judged for not going to a dentist for so long. He immediately diagnosed the problem and sorted the necessary treatment. I enquired about registering with the practice as a patient to get a proper assessment of my teeth, and although I have had to do this privately, it’s been worth every penny. I had a thorough assessment of my teeth and x-rays, and have since had to return for a filling and hygienist appointment, ( the lady hygienist was also superb and put me at ease). I feel as though I have finally gotten over my fear of the dentist, I would highly recommend windle house and Stephen in particular to anyone who has a fear of going to the dentist. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Everybody is really efficient and friendly, always ask how I am doing and ready for a chat as well :-). I have never had any problems with either the dentist or the practice hygienist. At one of my check-ups he dentist noticed a growth under my tongue and made me an emergency referral for further diagnosis and treatment. Two weeks later, I have had the biopsy and a month later it was taken out. He probably saved my life.

Fantastic experience: I was pleased with my initial visit to Windle Dental surgery. My second visit involved a filling which went very well. My previous dentist walked out and left me without telling me. I'd been undergoing visits because of a lot of pain and infections. Windle have got the ball rolling quickly for me understanding the pain I have been in for about 7 months. Communication is excellent between dentist and patient. I cannot thank them enough and have and will continue to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice for many years now. Although my Dental Team has changed several times, the high standards of treatment and professional integrity remain unchanged. The Dental Doctor and Nurse are always polite and attentive and do a great job each time. The appointment system is good in that they always give a call one or two days before to reconfirm the appointment. I usually do not have to wait long and get treated within 5 minutes of my appointed time. It is a practice I would recommend.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been with Windle house since we moved into the area. We have always found the surgery very efficient and spotlessly clean and hygienic. Telephone reminders are a bonus ! We were impressed at the way we were kept advised regarding appointments during lockdown . Their service is spot on . My only grumble and disappointment was that my daughter and young granddaughter were removed from the NHS patient list. Due to her non attendance . She was a nurse in a covid ward and a single parent ! .Unfortunately there was no appeal . But their dental service is great. And recommended.

Once you manage to get in here, you will stay here. It really is that good!! Parking horrendous though. May have to park at the back of the doggy parlour on Duke street or wherever you can find a safe place to park.

Fantastic experience: We took our 12 year old son for his appointment for work to be carried out and I have never seen the level of personal care and reassurance given to a child getting dental treatment, , the dentist coming out with the phrase “you’re in charge of the room and raise your hand if you want a rest” was just class , the calm manner including how the dentist and his assistant spoke with each other just kept the whole appointment feel relaxed and positive, totally brilliant dental practice and extremely professional with a real personal touch

Fantastic experience: Took my extremely phobic girlfriend here as an emergency patient. She's had really awful experiences with dentists before, so had incredibly high anxiety going into this. However Steven and his dental team had some of the most incredible bedside manners I've ever come across. They were kind, calming and incredibly good at explaining every step and letting my girlfriend get her anxiety under control between the various stages of getting examined and having the problem tooth filled in. One of the best dentist experiences either of us have ever had. We will both be putting ourselves on their waiting list to become regular patients here. A real class act.

Fantastic experience: 1st class service. I snapped a tooth and via emergency appointments I was sent to Windle House. Sadly the tooth was not able to be saved but Stephen the dentist was absolutely amazing. He talked me through everything and was very gentle during the extraction. As an extremely nervous patient they totally put me at ease. Honestly one of the best dental experiences I have ever had.
