Positive experience: I initially wrote a review following a disappointing experience due to a delay in receiving paperwork following a procedure. Within 48 hours of writing this review, Dr Sunil (owner) called me, despite it being a weekend. He was very professional and listened to my concerns regarding the incident and discussed it in depth. It is very apparent that he has a great level of care towards all of his patients - whether they have received care from him directly or from other staff at the practice. I would genuinely say that he went above and beyond to rectify the issue and I am delighted with the care and professionalism shown, as well as how quickly I was contacted. It is very rare to find business owners that take such a high level of accountability and strive to make sure that every customer has a positive experience. Despite the initial issue, I absolutely cannot fault how this was resolved. Huge thank you to Dr Sunil.

Negative experience: I have had a disappointing experience with this dental practice. The reception staff lacks professionalism, and my dentist, Dr. Mehmuna, did not provide a thorough diagnosis. Despite being registered as an NHS patient, I was consistently billed for private treatment. Whenever I questioned this, the staff failed to provide a clear process or valid explanation for the charges. In a recent interaction, the receptionist (she/her) informed me that I was removed as a patient due to 'poor attendance,' which was inaccurate. She also claimed that Dr. Mehmuna had written in her notes that she no longer wished to see me, which I found unprofessional and unsettling. Additionally, I never received a definitive diagnosis, which led to prolonged periods without necessary treatment. This practice appears to lack transparency regarding patient rights and billing, and I believe their practices warrant further investigation to ensure fair and ethical treatment for all patients

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service. Staff very courteous and helpful. Dentist did what I feared was going to be an unpleasant extraction in a matter of moments with no discomfort to me. In fact I thought he was still preparing when he said, "That's it. It's out". Very impressed. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extraction booked with Sunil Kaura. He explained the process and what he would be doing. He then used cold spray to numb the area before doing the injections. He was able to remove the wisdom tooth very quickly in a very professional manor. Negative experience: I have braces so I went there to get a referral letter to an orthodontist. Went to my appointment and was promised to be emailed a referral letter. It’s been about 2-3weeks and I’ve gotten nothing, I have called about 3 times and each time they tell me that they will email it to me.

Fantastic experience: I recently underwent a wisdom tooth extraction at Shinfield Rd dental , and I cannot express how happy I am for switching from my usual London dentists and giving this one a try. I live in London mostly but go to Reading University and stay here during term times- so I knew I had to at some point find a local dentist (Even though I hate the dentists) From the moment I stepped into the clinic, my anxiety was met with a comforting environment and professionalism. Dr.Kaura deserves special recognition for his outstanding dedication to patients well-being and obsession to detail. The initial consultations involved a thorough examination, complete with x-rays, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of my wisdom tooth which was literally as impacted as it gets... He took the time to explain each step of the process, alleviating my fears and provided good insights into the safest and most effective extraction methods. What sets this dental clinic apart is the genuine concern for patient comfort & THE PATIENCE SHOWN to us ( cuz nobody likes a rushing medical practitioner ffs). There were not like other money hungry dental clinics ive previously been to who try their best to squeeze out every dollar from your pocket by recommending unnecessary operations. He was always straight to the point and backed up everything he told me with top tier dental facts while providing me with valuable methods to use to maintain optimal dental health. . Bascially , I wholeheartedly recommend Shinfield Road dental for anyone seeking dental work done on them, particularly those needing the tooth extractions or implants. The professionalism, expertise, and genuine kindness exhibited is quite nice esp considering the private costs involved. Edit: I guess the dentists is not that bad after all, the difficult part mostly is finding the good ones lol. Also I forgot to mention but big thanks to the reception team too, those 2 ladies kept my anxiety at bay by answering every one of the 2,379 questions I had before the operation.

Fantastic experience: Sorry…I seem to have neglected this….in 22/23 I underwent a process to do 2 crowns and 6 implants . I never thought this would be possible as I have had problems over the years with gum disease….but this has now been sorted.Sunil took me through the process in an organised and methodical way, explaining everything as we went forward.His skills are second to none….especially as I don’t think I had an easy mouth to work on! Also all the nurses are excellent….as are receptionists….vrry caring with excellent communication.Obviously it cost a lot….but cheaper than a lot….im not a wealthy person at all….but I considered the work a good long term investment. Fantastic experience: Having had a really bad experience at a different surgery some years ago, I was beyond scared to go back, and stupidly didn't get regular dental checks. After a month of toothache, I realised I was not going to be able to self manage it any longer and was given an emergency appointment at Shinfield Road Dental + Implants last Friday. I was ridiculously scared, but in so much pain. I saw Dr Sunil Kaura. Both he and the nurse were so caring and reassuring. I had an x ray which showed that my wisdom tooth was decayed and needed removing. I was given a full explanation of what that would entail and then given a prescription for strong painkillers and antibiotics to see me over the weekend. I went along on Monday evening. The needles were not nearly as bad as I had anticipated. Again everything was explained before the procedure and all the way through. I was given another prescription for more antibiotics and all the post procedure care information I would need, both written and verbal. I cannot praise the practice enough. They completely understood my (in my opinion) irrational fears and put me at ease. I am extremely grateful for them sorting the problem out for me and I now have no hesitation in going back for further appointments. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am not normally someone to actually write a review so that in itself says something! I am not going to lie I do not like having dental work done however I really like the dentists at this practice. They are really patient focused and explain every procedure in detail and do not make you feel uncomfortable saying you are nervous. I decided to have an implant and saved up for it. I kept thinking the procedure would be similar to root canal work as I had nothing to compare it to. It was actually a lot less intrusive. I was worried about the drilling but there wasn’t as much as I had anticipated and it was over much quicker than I expected. I cannot stress how kind and confident Dr Sunil Kuara was throughout the whole process. He put me at ease and is very personable. Like I said I don’t write reviews but I would 100% confidently recommend him to anyone thinking or considering an implant.

Fantastic experience: Sunil Kaura- is definitely the best Dentist I have ever been to I am a very nervous patient and went to him 3 weeks ago with a broken tooth that had developed an abscess I was crying in fear just whilst he took an X ray but he calmed me and didn't poke around around unnecessarily Today the surgery rang to say that although they'd referred me to the hospital for extraction the hospital had said no I'd need the sedation clinic I know what I'm like and wouldn't have gone so I went to see Sunil Kaura- who agreed to take my tooth out there and then I can honestly say that it was a completely pain free experience He really put me at ease- first time ever I felt like he cared .I really can't recommend him enough Thank You very much Sunil Kaura

Positive experience: Have been visiting the dentist here for over 15 years and before the current dentists took over. Miss Mr Ranu who was incredibly thorough and whose service was excellent. The new dentists are good but their clean and polish is nowhere near as good as Mr Ranu was. Am now advised to see their new hygienist where as previously the thorough clean and polish was part of my your 6 monthly checkup. Now you get a very quick clean. Am currently seeing the private dentist Sunil as I have had an implant. He is very good and is doing all that he can to ensure I am happy with the new implant. Unfortunately we have had a few problems and it still may need further adjustment but am sure it will be as it should be in the end.

The dental LOUIS & his assistant HUMIRA have completely understood my situation and have helped my over the past couple of years get my mouth and teeth back to a fut state! They have so uch compassion when it cones to a patient and not your normal scary dentist experience!! He’s advice is second to none and with every visit I have had with LUIS AND HUMIRA has been smooth and relaxing, my teeth problems are not straight forward by any means and both of their professionalism is unbelievable! Fantastic experience: My son (age 13) needed to have 3 teeth removed in preparation for his braces that needs to be fitted early next year. He was very distressed as one of his school friends had some teeth removed and it was very painful and took days to recover so he was not looking forward to meeting the dentist. We managed to book a late Friday appointment thinking if he was in pain then better the weekend where we can keep an eye on him at home. We arrived early and it was easy to find a free parking space right outside the building. When we arrived in the reception we where greeted and told we would be seen shortly. Reception was nice and clean. When we where called in we meet Sunil and his assistant, both very professional, with a friendly smile and they quickly got my son to relax and get comfortable by explaining what would happen and answer all the questions my son had. After a couple of injections, the process was over very quickly and we had an explanation about what to expect and the after care note along with additional cotton balls for the trip home. All in all a great experience from booking the appointment till after the job was concluded. The plan was to relax all saturday but due to the expert extractions, my son was ready to go to a birthday party Saturday afternoon. Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and skilled Dentists It’s a busy Dental Surgery and the Dentists have a high work ethic to accommodate as many appointments as possible so if you make a 4pm onwards appointment don’t be surprised to be waiting awhile. At the end of the day at least your being seen which nowadays can be a challenge at Dentists
