Pennypot Dental New Romney

Fantastic experience: Great practice, I was a very nervous patient on entering through their door a few weeks ago after not being to the dentist in a few decades!! but the friendly reception team immediately put my mind at rest and the practice dentists I have seen are very patient and professional talking through treatment and plan options beforehand in a non judgemental way i would highly recommend this practice to any nervous future patients

Positive experience: My experience at Pennypot was a pleasant one. All staff members from reception the dentist and her assistant were welcoming, polite and helped me feel at ease. Treatment went well the only reason I put 4/5 is the costs which I guess can’t be helped at present with no NHS funding.

Fantastic experience: I have had toothache since last week, entirely my fault because when we came for our check up Emma told me that tooth was really bad and needed to come out. It had not caused me any pain so far so I said I might as well wait. The pain came on in a big wave and got worse as the weekend came on. I rang this morning hoping for an appointment and was told to come in at 12. Long story short I was seen about 1.15 and left so happy as the pain had gone and do had the dragon of a tooth. My husband had been in a similar situation years ago and eventually had to have his tooth removed in Canterbury hospital. I said that is the best thing of having a very good dentist. I still have pain but it's the after treatment and will get better. Not worse. So I can only say. Thank you out of bottom of my heart to the THE PENNYPOT TEAM. I should have kept the tooth to take a photo to show you all of THE DRAGON SORRY EMMA SHOULD HAVE TAKE. YOUR ADVICE XXX

Fantastic experience: Went in anxious and worried and came out reassured and much impressed. An excellent, and very professional job done on a difficult tooth - and everything kindly and knowledgeably explained. Lovely dentist.

Positive experience: I had very painful toothache for three days. I knew of Pennypot dental as I live close by. On the off chance I popped in to see if I could get an urgent appointment. The very kind and professional receptionist consulted with one of the Dentists and they were able to accommodate me later that day. At my appointment I had an examination and x-ray. The situation was explained to me and I had the tooth extracted. The next day no more pain. Very good service all round.

Fantastic experience: Another professional experience!!! I had an issue with some sensitivity around a tooth and booked an appointment. Unfortunately the sensitivity turned into toothache and headache a week before the appointment. I phoned the surgery and they were kind enough to fit me in that day.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Penny Pot Dental and from the moment I walked in the receptionist Lorna put me at ease. As a nervous patient it had taken a great deal of courage to even walk through the door. I needn’t have worried the Dentist James was understanding and clearly explained everything about the process and procedure and afterwards the treatment needed. I was in safe hands and would definitely recommend Penny Pot Dental to anyone looking for a Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I felt like a vip today very well looked after and cared for by members of the team Emma Andrea Jade (welcome back and congrats ) and last but not least Norma who even when extremely busy appears to be a swan with duck feet paddling under the water x check up done xrays and discussion of concerns and the most wonderful clean x thank you good to see you all again after what has been a somewhat testing and trying time !

Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot thank James and the ladies at reception enough for all their help. I had been having tooth pain for over 2 weeks and thanks to James I am now pain free. James and the receptionists were so attentive and understanding despite the emotional mess I was in being 34 weeks pregnant and a very nervous dental patient! As it was a Friday James treated me there and then meaning I didn’t have to wait over the weekend. A very happy patient :)

Fantastic experience: Great practice. The receptionists are always very friendly and chatty and go out of their way to welcome you. The dental practitioner and hygienist are always very friendly and keep me up to date with prices/treatments, and also sympathetic towards me with any dental problems. The surgery is always very clean, with a pleasant and warm atmosphere. Plenty of onscreen information for patients to watch, as well as good products on sale. I wasn’t feeling very well after my treatment on Wednesday after all the anaesthetic and the receptionist was very caring and made sure I was ok before I left.

Fantastic experience: After experiencing problems with a lower molar I have received excellent service from the practice in New Romney to try and rectify the pain. Several appointments to try and retain the tooth were arranged but sadly and finally I had to have it extracted today. The senior partner arranged a special appointment and took the time and trouble to deal with it himself going over the history before the extraction took place. I was very impressed with their professionalism and speed of action and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Had a fairly uncommon problem my upper saliva gland got blocked resulting in the side of my face ballooning up with pus ! The team were fantastic and professional and helped ease my pain and referred me promptly to the William Harvey Hospital for further treatment They found a small acid stone blocking the duct to the gland All good now .. Fantastic experience: Saw the dentist for an emergency and also a check up twice this week, both times seen promptly especially the emergency. Very efficient and friendly service from everyone. The dentist, Dr Pashler, has been very good, sorted all problems quickly and gave good advice for the future.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Emma at the end of June and had some x-rays done. These meant the removal of 3 teeth and 3 fillings. Not a happy bunny. I was offered an appointment with the Aural Surgeon in Hythe very quickly and had all 3 teeth out together. Hythe is a very nice practice, light and airy and pleasant staff. Then, the same week, it was back to Dr Emma for the fillings which all went well. Caroline and Laura are very pleasant ladies on the front desk and Dr Emma and her dental nurse are both lovely. Not going back - hopefuly - til January '24 but I know if I have a problem I will get seen as soon as they can fit me in.

Fantastic experience: 2 long sessions to resolve a root canal problem were undertaken in a good professional ( and painless) manner.

Negative experience: OK P.P practice... I am strongly Dyslexic..it seem this practice does not care or recognise a hidden disability... when I signed up to this practice I warned your receptionist that I rely heavily on reminders one a few days before and one early on the day ... you should be aware that at 66 I have other health issues of wich your company dose not seem to be interested in ..I have had one knee replacement and the other one is under review .. this constant pain may not be of importance to you but its a big distraction to me ... if I don't get a response on this you may be facing an enquiry from the CQC about how your company do not recognise that patients may have underlying private problems...... gh As I said ... its been a few weeks now ... so now I have referred your practice to the CQC ...

Positive experience: It’s ok as far as dentists go, staff are very friendly and helpful. Just wish I could get on as an NHS patient as at £83 compared to £25 for the same less than 10min check up……way too pricey!
