Fantastic experience: I found tooth on google because I had 3 chipped teeth. I left an inquiry online and received a reply via email within the hour and also managed to book a consultation too!! Anyway, I tried Tooth London after trying to get my NHS dentist to fix my teeth (they did an awful job by the way). ToothLondon fixed my teeth back to perfection. They have lots of specialist apparatus and treat you like a celebrity!! Dr Ana K is such a perfectionist. I think I actually told her that I lover her!!! Thank you tooth London. I have booked my Diamond clean for next week!! Totally recommend ToothLondon to ANYBODY for ANYTHING!! Thank you Dr Ana K!!!

Negative experience: UPDATE NO.2: AVOID THIS DENTIST, THEY OVERCHARGE. Following the inaccurate and deeply patronising response to my review (thanks for the kiss btw) I repeat that a number of the advised treatments by Tooth were deemed entirely unnecessary and over expensive by the qualified dentist I spoke to following this unprofessional and downright sloppy appointment. I have added this review to my socials and others have been in touch with similar experiences. See the screenshot from one of them. Anyone reading the below response will be able to see that this outwardly glossy company appears, in fact, to be run by unprofessional opportunists. I repeat: the experience was rude, arrogant, unclear, and as far as my experience and evidence from my brilliant new dentist shows, geared towards charging me as much as possible rather than offering best care. These people are interested in maximising profit with a thinly veiled disdain for customers from what I've seen in the facility and now here too. As for training nurses, yes of course, but it wasn't a situation where careful training was being given, it was a case of the dentist being distracted and rather impatient trying to explain rudimentary processes to a nurse who ought to have been qualified to carry out simple clerical procedures before working with patients in the clinic. And yes, the dentist's socks were unmatched which is not professional attire and her shoes were filthy. Come back on me again, please and I'll happily add more screenshots of people sharing their own bad experiences. X UPDATE: I went to a different private dentist who confirmed the suggested "plan" from Tooth was poor advice and unnecessarily expensive. Read into that what you will, but I'd avoid. I've gone from £1500 at Tooth to £800 at the other place, and a far better service. Unfortunately, apart from the Bono sunglasses, the dental checkup was pretty poor. The dentist I saw was rather patronising for someone in filthy trainers and mismatched socks. At one point, she seemed to take offence when I questioned why she would want to drill into 2 teeth with zero decay. Add to this, the fact the nurse didn't know how to use her computer and the dentist kept having to tell her what buttons to click... it was all a bit GCSE dentist. I was told I needed a whopping £1,500 treatment plan that seemed well beyond necessary work and the presentation of this plan was perfunctory, lacking in coherent information, and didn't match what the dentist said during check up. My final impression was the dentist turning her back on me so I had to ask her whether we were finished and leave as though I'd been dismissed by a disgruntled teacher. Rude, overpriced, unprofessional
Hi Andrew, thanks for taking time to leave this review, we do take all feedback seriously, but we do also need to clarify when reviews are not entirely accurate.
Regarding your treatment plan, we have had your x rays, notes and treatment plan reviewed by our Principal Dentist and we are 100% confident with all of the recommended treatments proposed to you. We understand all options listed were discussed with you and all treatments were explained in detail, along with details of which were most urgent. We are legally bound to list solutions for treating any of a patient’s identified issues, for example, if we were to find signs of tooth wear, grinding, leaky fillings, periodontal issues, etc in a patient. Naturally, a patient is under no obligation to do any or all of these, and we give no pressure to do such, but these are the standards we must adhere to.
At tooth, all of our Dentists are very well experienced and qualified, usually with at least one Post Graduate Degree in addition to their Dentistry degree. Naturally, their choice of socks doesn’t affect the quality of their dentistry, so please don’t let this overly worry you. All our team must, and do, adhere to our uniform policy. Outdoor shoes are not allowed so we feel that someone having 'filthy shoes' was fairly unlikely, but just in case, and for good practice, we have now reminded all of our team about our uniform standards, so thank you for this feedback.
As an ethical business, we are proud to support Trainee Dental Nurses on their journey to becoming Qualified Dental Nurses - this involves mentoring and training, including training them on our dental software systems. Over the years we are pleased to say that our Trainee Dental Nurses have gone on, not only to become Qualified Nurses, but also, to roles such as Orthodontic Therapists, Specialist Dental Nurses, Practice Managers and more. Mentoring and developing them in this way is something that gives us great pride. Whilst the vast majority of our nurses are Qualified Dental Nurses, the Nurse working with your Dentist at the time of your appointment was one of our lovely Trainees on their journey to success - hence the mentoring being given.
We are always more than happy to talk through a patient's treatment plan if there is any confusion or misunderstanding, or if they would just like any clarity. We have a team of experts at our patients' disposal for this. This is the more typical route a patient would follow if they had any questions or needed any more details as to why a treatment was listed on their plan. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for years and have always been so pleased! My 3.5-year-old daughter just had her first proper cleaning today, and I am so shocked by how smoothly it went. Dr. Florentina was so kind to her, and I’m so happy that her first dental appointment was such a positive experience. After a bad accident where she nearly lost her front teeth, I couldn’t have imagined it going this well. While this dentist is not specifically marketed as a children’s dentist, I can’t recommend them enough for your nervous toddler’s first time!

Negative experience: EDIT: these guys sent me an email explaining how they are correct in their decision which was full of upselling treatments and asked me to delete the review. This just shows how 5* reviews is their marketing strategy. They care more about having clean reviews and money than patients getting affordable treatment. Pure greed Old review: This place is an absolute joke. I went to a checkup about a year ago. They did an xray and said they will send me a special treatment plan, in couple hours I got an email saying that I need like six procedures - from root canal infection treatment, to crowns and decays. They wanted to charge me £4 000. I laughed at the email and decided to go to a different dentist. They cleaned the root canal for £350 and also did an x ray - surprisingly they did not find any decays (which was not a surprise to me given I floss actively and take good care of them) The other dentist said a crown would be nice to have but given I have a stable filling there is no need to change that short term. I swear these people want to rip you off and make up stuff such that they could charge you more. I made sure Id wait a year before posting this review such that I can be sure I wouldnt experience any additional dental issues despite not paying their £4k special fee tag. This place is the reason why people have terrible yellow teeth in the Uk- they probably cant afford it because they are being scammed by overcharging dentists (who instead of focusing on affordable care focus on farming 5* reviews)
Hi Samuel, thank you for taking time to leave this review, but as you were informed in the detailed email that we sent you (which we sent as soon as we saw your review), it is grossly inaccurate - and it is important that readers of your review understand this. Knowing that it is inaccurate, now that you have been given full clinical clarification of every point made in your original review, this would lead most people to withdraw the review (since they have been made aware that they were initially mistaken about what they posted). We just see it as the logical and right thing to do, now your concerns have been clarified. Apologies if for some reason you see this clarification as something else.
As mentioned in the email we sent, we have had a second opinion from our Principal Dentist on your treatment plan, case notes and x-rays and we 100% stand by the clinical accuracy and correct diagnosis of everything noted on the plan.
Over time we have learned that we cannot please all of the people all of the time, and that dentistry can be an emotive subject for some. Not everyone always hears what they want to hear, but our experienced, and well qualified Dental professionals are all our bound by regulations that dictate that if they see an issue they must inform the patient about it, and they must offer solutions to remedy it. The patient is under no obligation at all to do these treatments, and we put no pressure on them at all to do so, but we are under legal obligation to inform the patient of the issues and options.
As you mention in your update, we sent full clinical justification, in detail, for every single treatment listed on your treatment plan, and explained (as the treatment plan itself also mentioned), that the total price listed on the treatment plan would not be correct when we were presenting multiple options for one tooth. Under the regulations of ‘Informed Patient Consent’ that we are legally bound by, we will often present multiple options for one tooth where the outcome will be similar – for example, a full porcelain crown, a porcelain bonded crown or composite onlay – but as these all relate to the same tooth you cannot have all of them – only one. This allows the patient to select based on their preference, cost etc. We totally understand that sometimes treatment plans can be confusing and that’s why we have a team of people ready and waiting to help with any questions or queries a patient may have, and we do encourage all patients to just ask if they have any questions about their planned or current treatments.
We are very pleased to hear that your teeth are not currently causing you any issues, and we are pleased that you have found an interim solution. Thank you for this update. As a team that cares passionately about oral health we have just one goal – to help patients achieve good oral health and whether this is done with us, or with another provider, we really don’t mind. We are sorry again that we didn’t meet your own personal expectations of dentistry and thank you for your visit.

Fantastic experience: I had to do two fillings and generally I am very scared of the dentist. Dr. Eleni was amazing . She put me at ease and the whole procedure was done without me feeling anything ! She is so caring and her nurse Marta as well was perfect! Usually I panic when I feel all the water but this time there was nothing.

Fantastic experience: I needed a root canal on a back molar which has been giving me trouble since it was crowned earlier this year. I was referred here by my NHS dentist to see Dr Alberto Molina, a specialist endodontist, for the procedure. I am quite a nervous patient when it comes to dental work but Dr Molina put me at ease and I did not feel anything during the procedure. He was so skilled and thorough, I had absolutely no pain the next day, just a slight tenderness but this was resolved within 48 hours. If you need specialist endodontic work under microscope and want to have a comfortable experience, I highly recommend Tooth and Dr Molina. The team were super lovely and helpful throughout the process from initial consultation and booking me in for the procedure within a couple of weeks. Thank you Dr Molina and tooth team!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Eleni was amazing and saved our trip. We needed urgent temporary crown placement after one broke when we landed. She saw us the same day and squeezed us in to make sure we were able to get the temporary crown placed. The crown feels comfortable because she took the care to customize it to fit the previous crown shape as much as possible. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I was impressed by the dentists, hygenists and receptionists at Tooth. But what prompted me to write this review is that I have just had my wisdom teeth removed in 2 separate sessions. Both times after the removal, there was virtually no pain afterwards. This is just unheard of and proved the surgeon Dr.Ana has incredible skills and techniques. She is the world champion of dental surgeons. Very pleased I switched to Tooth last year when my previous dentist retired.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in many years. The team at tooth provided the best care I've ever received in a dentist. I had been very nervous from previous bad experiences at other practices but the team at tooth have completely changed that. I needed a lot of work done, several appointments and Dr Ausra explained everything patiently and honestly to me, showed me exactly how and importantly why I needed it done and I did not feel pressured or hard sold into anything. This helped me feel I understood what was going on and felt in control. The atmosphere is excellent; white, calm, clean, friendly staff and serene with pleasant calming music playing at all times. Absolutely blown away by tooth, well worth the money. Thank you so much.

Just like all of our team, Dr. Ausra is great at explaining things fully - we aren't in a rush to make our lovely patients informed, and all our patients are in control - we will explain any necessary and viable treatments, be open with costs and likely results, and the patient can decide their next steps. We never pressure or upsell - it is not our ethos - we simply only offer the best dental advice, tailored to each patient's needs and circumstance. Fantastic experience: I came to get some tooth gems removed and get just a general check up as well and they were very quick via email and over the phone to give me a quote and I was able to be seen the same week. Negative experience: I recently underwent a crown treatment with YUQIAO LIU, and it was a complete disaster!!! After spending £1,850, not only did I see no improvement, but I also lost the natural smoothness of my tooth!!! SICK!!! Now, it looks like I’ll need to pay extra to a real doctor just to fix it with polishing. I deeply regret trusting this individual, who I wouldn't even call a doctor.

Fantastic experience: As someone who was pushed pillar to post by the NHS and other private dentists, I was quite desperate to find a dentist who would help me with my long standing dental issues. Advised that I would need two canals by a specialist , I found tooth which has a specialist endodondist, Dr Molina. I booked a consultation through tooth, whose receptionist team was attentive and responsive when I had any concerns or queries. Dr Molina ’s service was thorough, patient and reassuring throughout. As someone who also has issues with becoming numb, he ensured I was pain free throughout my dental procedures. If anyone is in need of a diligent, skilled and talented endodontist, Dr Molina is your go to.

Fantastic experience: I don’t have great teeth so have had quite a lot of work. But my last experience was not good . And I fall asleep at the dentist !! A friend recommended doctor Anna at tooth , said she was amazing . And she was not wrong . This lady seems to know everything , the best methods the best options . She’s so efficient and never causes pain or discomfort . She’s thorough and doesn’t pressure you . Or make you feel guilty . She always says if something isn’t urgent . Fantastic experience: The definition of professional. From the front office to the doctors. I had 3 tooth fillings, and a surgical wisdom tooth extraction with Dr Ana. Every session was so professional and stress free. Her assistant always polite and always there to assist the doctor. The front office very helpful, with quick email replies to all of my questions. Very flexible appointments. Financial plan available. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Holly was the best hygenist I have ever been to she was gentle kind professional and non judgemental after not being able to go after a long time I was embarrassed to get teeth cleaned but to my surprise Holly through my anxiety out the door and made me feel relaxed and feeling good about my self and genuinely cared about my teeth . Thank you . The only thing that was not great was the reception after pronouncing my name wrong and when she was corrected she still called me a different name 4 times although English was not her first language I believe there it was quite clear. She made not effort and kept calling me samira even though there is no r in my name and it was a different name . Too unbothered

Fantastic experience: THIS is the place for anxious patients. The patience of my dentist here is phenomenal. I am your nightmare patient: terrified of needles, they literally turn me into a blubbering mess. Often the drill does too. I’m higggghly anxious at the dentist and honestly, these people just so patient, kind, and never make you feel bad about it. They wait for you to calm down and do all they can to make it as pleasant as possible. If I hadn’t found this dentist my teeth would still be rotting in my mouth. I cannot recommend them highly enough - I’ve had extractions, fillings, the lot here. Great.

Negative experience: Very bad ( Endodontist) DR. Jose Alberto Molina I do not recommend it at all. He tried to fix my tooth with root canal treatment, but unfortunately he was not able to do that, and now I need to have my tooth removed. Three doctors before him told me that they could fix it, So I was expecting he would treat it better than them but ended up ruining my tooth. I lost my money, I lost my tooth... It's terrible

As you can see from our hundreds of other reviews, this is certainly not normal, so whilst we do value all our feedback, we also do have the duty to clarify any confusion or incorrect information for anyone reading this review - as inaccurate reviews can be damaging to our independent local business and impact our hard working and caring team.
As you know, we have also taken time to call you and to send a detailed email to you once we saw this review as clearly there was some misunderstanding at your end after the appointment as to the status of your tooth and the viability of treatment. We apologise if there was anything explained that you were unclear on on the day, and we encourage all patients to ask questions at the time if anything isn't clear, or we are always available 8am-8pm every day to answer any concerns or questions after treatment. As you have chosen to leave this inaccurate review online even after the email explanation and clarity, we will just give an overview to readers below:
- Dr. Alberto is a leading Endodontist – he has his degree, a Masters and also a PhD in his area, and he works exclusively doing Endodontics, so is very well qualified and experienced in his field of work.
- Although x rays can show that root canal (endodontic treatment) is viable, they do not and cannot reveal all the details of a tooth.
- When other Dentist recommends a patient to see a specialist, for example, an Endodontist, this is because they need an expert to review and/or do treatment. If it was a simple case they would simply do the treatment themselves.
- During any root canal treatment an Endodontist may discover that the tooth is not restorable once they have looked under their high powered microscope and more closely in the tooth. Not restorable simply means that there is no point doing the root canal as it just won’t work. So, as an ethical practice and in line with guidance, rather than just taking a patient’s money to do a treatment that wouldn’t work, we prefer to simply advise the patient if the outcome for the tooth is very low and/or that it simply can’t be done properly. This saves a patient the cost of the treatment and then having to still have it extracted anyway.
- This is the best and most ethical way to proceed for any dental treatment. In these cases we only charged for an Investigation and not the full root canal treatment, saving the patient lots of money and time.
- The reason a non-restorable tooth may need extraction is because it is too damaged and in these cases for any patient the outcome is the same whether you would see our Endodontist or any other Endodontist. In simple terms if a tooth is beyond repair when a patient comes in, it is not the fault of the treating Dentist or Specialist.
All of our clinical team will do all they can to save a patient's tooth if possible but sometimes the expectations of a patient do not align with the clinical possibilities of treatment.
Apologies again if you misunderstood any of the details explained to you on the day, and by email and do email us on [email protected] if you have any questions at all about the treatment or if we can help you in any other way.
Negative experience: UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. 1. I have 3 artificial front teeth therefore I have always had lower mouth guards because of it. The dentist who did the scan was fully aware of it and never asked me whether I would prefer upper one or lower one. Please NOTE that I was NOT advised that it was an upper one. It was only when the guard arrived she then informed me that mouth guards are normally upper ones- I said that’s not the case and I won’t accept it. 2. Simply blame it on the lab is not a solution and doesn’t change the fact that it’s a bad experience for the customers due to the poor quality of product. It’s your duty to make sure you have a competent supplier in order to achieve satisfactory results. 3. The third one caused sore gum after couple of weeks, I simply just didn’t want to waste my time again and go through all of the process for the fourth time. 3 times is enough to prove the poor quality of the service/product/ technology in my opinion. Hope that makes sense. Tried 3 times to get a mouth guard that actually fits me, completely waste of time and doesn’t worth the money and time. First one did not fit at all, second one also didn’t fit, third one was okay but couple of weeks later it didn’t fit anymore and it caused me sore gum after. Over £400 wasted and all the time I spend on the appointments. One star was given to the receptionists who are welcoming and friendly.
Hi Lingmin, sorry to hear that you felt you had a one star experience at tooth. It is very rare for us to get negative reviews as our team is so strongly focused on giving the absolute best service always, so this is upsetting for us. To clarify the process for mouthguards - we use a state of the art 3D intra-oral scanner (Trios 3shape) which gives an accurate digital render of your teeth, which then goes straight to the lab via digital files.
The lab itself makes the mouthguard and on rare occasions they send things that need to be remade if they don't fit well. This is down to either lab error or corrupted files, but this isn't something that we control as the labs are independent companies outside of tooth. In your case the first scans were reported as distorted so we did new ones for you. When the work from the lab came back it didn't fit nicely, so we sent it back - but although a Michigan Splint made is only for upper teeth, which was advised at the time, at this point you advised that you wanted something for your lower teeth, so we rescanned again for free and changed the order to what is called a Tanner Splint. Again, the work that came back from the lab was not satisfactory was is equally as disappointing for us, so this was rejected, and we took further scans just as a precaution.
The third one fitted as planned and was noted as a very good fit. At this visit you were advised to come in in 3 weeks for adjustment, which is required to ensure a comfortable long term fit, once you had got used to the splint. However, you did not book or attend this visit, hence why a few weeks later it was rubbing. At this point you should have contacted us and we would have booked you in to review and adjust as planned.
At tooth we care passionately about giving the best service and the best treatments, our hundreds and hundreds of 5 Star Reviews are testament to this. Had you contacted us in 2022 when this appliance was made and fitted we could have done any necessary adjustments, but 18 months on it is difficult for us to remedy the situation.
Once again we are sorry that you felt you had a poor experience at tooth, but we hope that this response more clearly explains to readers and yourself the background to this case. Many thanks for choosing tooth and do not hesitate to get in touch if you need us again in the future x

Fantastic experience: Friendly and welcoming receptionists, kind, friendly, and communicative dentists. Dr. Olczak went through all the X-rays and photos with me and explained the problems and treatment necessary. Booking treatment appointments was fast and easy. Appointments were speedy but didn’t feel rushed, and reasonably priced compared to other clinics, especially considering the central location. Very happy with the care I’ve received and will definitely come again when necessary.

Fantastic experience: I went there three times in total, once for a checkup, once for wisdom teeth extraction, and once for cleaning. I don’t understand many professional English words, but the doctors and nurses I met would use simple words to explain to me, which made me feel very considerate.

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience I’ve had! Needed an non-surgical wisdom tooth extraction and I was in and out of tooth in 20 minutes. There was no pain and I was eating normally 3 hours later and healed up straight away! It was also relatively cheap considering the procedure as well.

Negative experience: The receptionist and dentist are nice. But I won't recommend their hygienist, it was the most horrible hygienist I ever had. I felt soooo sensitive and painful for a week!!! Because the lady is rude and washing hard with METAL HOOK ALL OVER MY TEETH SURFACE even its very clean already (is it necessarily??) Another practices gently use ultrasonic water jet for surface and only use the hook for tartar etc. I felt my teeth is damaged. And they asked me to come back in 6 months, fxxx if I will. (for other service maybe yes, but not hygiene)
Hi Mae, thanks for leaving this review - we're glad you found our Dentist and Reception team nice, but we do always encourage all patients to ask questions during the treatment or after if they have any questions or concerns. We can see from our records that your hygiene visit was c18 months ago (from time that you left this review) in April 2022, so we are unsure why this has come up now.
To clarify, you saw one of our most experienced and most popular Hygienists - the reality is that a proper hygiene session can make you feel sore for a short time afterwards as we have to go around the gum line, where the plaque builds up. The metal hook you refer to is one of two things - it is either the tip of the Ultra-sonic scaler, which is an essential part of a scale and polish, as the name suggests, or it could be the hand scaler - again, an essential tool for scaling. Neither can damage your teeth, but both allow the Hygienist to remove build up (plaque/tartar etc) from your teeth, which is exactly what the booked treatment is designed to do. Our hygienists do have a legal obligation to perform these tasks unless the patient requests we don't do this.
Although in the past your other hygienists at other practices may have mainly just used an air-flow, this is not an effective tool for removing hard build up (dental calculus) and this may be the very reason why the Hygienist at tooth had to hand-scale more than you are used to, and why it felt harder than usual for you. It is quite common that we get patients from other practices that have had hygiene appointments elsewhere and are surprised that we have had to remove so much build up.
Had you have asked us about this at the time we could have happily explained to you all of the above, but I do hope this helps explain and that it makes you reconsider this very low review for delivering the treatment that you booked. Fantastic experience: Anna is the best dentist I have ever had. She is quick and calming and I have never had any subsequent issues with any work done at Tooth. They are honest about what is and is not urgent. The receptionist is lovely and helps you feel at home. Fantastic experience: A great experience. I finally bit the bullet and switched form the NHS to private. The service was great and Dr Anna and Hygienist Mia were excellent. The most important part for me was not being upsold treatment which may not be necessary.

Fantastic experience: I had a brilliant experience at Tooth for my Invisalign. I began treatment elsewhere, but because of unforeseen circumstances I had to switch from my original dental clinic. I appealed to Tooth to take my on going case, which I'm sure is unusual. The whole team were awesome, incredibly accommodating, and made sure that I could finish my treatment with them. I felt so taken care of and they worked to make sure the rest of my treatment would be as effective as possible while keeping within the original budget. My teeth now look and feel amazing!

Negative experience: First of all, there's no such policy in either the website or the booking email mentioned that if the customer is 15 mins late, he/she will be rejected to do the hygiene. Also, there's no policy said that the deposit is not refundable if the customer is 15 mins late. The receptionist didn't allow me to do the tooth hygiene only because I was 15 mins late, even though the hygienist was not occupied when I arrived. And they refused to refund any deposit. The last time when I did tooth hygiene, I arrived on time, but I was asked to wait at the reception for almost 20 mins until the hygienist showed up & did the hygiene for me. This experience is very unpleasant & their attitude is unacceptable.
Hi Diana, thanks for taking time to leave this review. We are sorry that you didn't feel that you had a good experience at tooth. However, we did explain thoroughly at the time of the late arrival, and later by email as to the reasons why we couldn't see you on the day, and the reality of your '20 min wait' last visit.
Regarding the 20 minute wait - as explained, everything on our system is time stamped and the system shows that you arrived 20 mins early for your previous appointment, hence why you had to wait until the appointment time. You were seen exactly on time as planned, for the full length of the appointment, exactly as planned. In non-dental terms this is like arriving for a 3pm train at 2.40pm and then leaving a bad review as it wasn't there until the scheduled time, which we feel is a little unfair.
Regarding the late arrival, we will always do everything we can to see a patient that arrives late, but we have to have a cut off point. For 30 minute hygiene appointments this cut off point is c15 mins. There is a genuine reason why this is, as explained, and that is simply that we will not be able to carry out a hygiene treatment safely or effectively in 15 mins, and as we were fully booked with appointments directly after your allocated slot, it would have been really unfair to make all the other patients for the rest of the day run late through no fault of their own. Many of our hygiene patients also have a check up booked back-to-back, so this also makes running late not viable for us as it would also make the dental appointments run late. We are really sorry that we couldn't see you and did offer to rebook you.
The reason that the small deposit is kept in these situations is simply to help mitigate towards some of the losses incurred. As we couldn't see you owing to the late arrival, it means we lost that whole 30 minute slot, so not only did we lose the hygiene fee, we also have to pay the nurse and hygienist for that period. The small deposit goes towards some of these costs. A late arrival like this (15mins late out of 30 mins appointment) is therefore the same for us as a no-show, or a late cancellation - simply as we waste the slot and can't rebook it. We do genuinely understand that this is frustrating for you and we are really sorry for any inconvenience or loss caused by your late arrival. We do hope you understand and thank you for your custom to date and we hope to see you again soon.
Fantastic experience: I switched to tooth quite a few years back because of an emergency and they have been consistently amazing. I’ve always felt apprehensive of dental procedures, but Dr. Anna made the experience so pleasant that completely took away any anxiety for me. Negative experience: the new patient examination. I’ve been told it a ‘normal gum bleeding’, but it is not normal!! I still feel uncomfortable after 5 hours, and after I use mouthwash I can feel it’s at least 4 wounds in my mouth. (My tooth and gum are completely healthy and do not have any oral issue history) 2. After the examination one of my teeth feels pain when I’m eating because the nurse pressed and shake it very hard during the examination. ( even I told her it’s a baby tooth needs to be careful) 3. I’m not sure if hygiene is compulsory before I see the dentist for orthodontic purposes because my tooth doesn’t even have any stains or anything that needs to be cleaned. However, they just let me pay £165 to do all the examinations before I see the actual dentist for 15min free consultation. 4. I went here because of all those 5 stars comments, what a shame. 5. Be careful their dentist won’t be in their clinic all the time, they only work in this clinic a few days a week. THE WORSE DENTAL EVER, SERIOUSLY AVOID IT! Unless you want to pay money and get your tooth and gum damaged. BTW, your replay is interesting. I can see you tried your best to mislead people. I do give five stars to different companies, but not to your unprofessional & unskilled staff.
Thank you for leaving this review - whilst we do always take all feedback seriously, from a clinical point of view the review just simply isn’t accurate. Our Dentists are well qualified and experienced and professionally conduct many patient exams and treatments each day (hence the hundreds of genuine 5 Star Reviews), but one thing they cannot do is reverse historical or ongoing dental issues on your first visit. At a New Patient Exam, we will be looking all around the mouth for issues, and will do what is known as BPE scoring. Should, for example, a patient have gingivitis, which causes irritation, redness and swelling of your gingiva (the part of your gum around the base of your teeth), then when probed it might feel a bit sore and may bleed. This is very normal, but it is the result of previous neglect rather than the result of a gentle probe by an experienced and Dental professional. The only way for us to avoid this would be to ignore the issues, which naturally we cannot do nor would want to do.
A hygiene appointment is not required before an orthodontic consultation - but it is definitely required should a patient have any gum issues (such as gingivitis). This is how that issue will be remedied clinically.
With regards to a nurse 'pressing and shaking your tooth', just to clarify - nurses cannot legally do anything with your teeth, that is what the Dentist does - a nurse only holds instruments that aid the dentist, such as the suction, retractors etc. They have no physical way of pressing or shaking your tooth.
We can see you have also left out of sync 1 star reviews for other businesses, so we would ask that in the future you please consider normal protocols - such as asking the Dentist for clarification of why things were recommended if you were unsure, or contacting us after the appointment if you had any concerns and we would, as always, be 100% happy to explain and assist. Thank you for choosing tooth and we are sorry that this visit to the dentist didn’t meet your expectations, but we are very comfortable that we followed correct and normal procedures.
Fantastic experience: Just finished wisdom tooth extraction with my dentist Ana, without feeling anything and removed both tooth in 20 mins, Ana was very patient and professional, the receptionist is super lovely too and one of their team members can also speak Mandarin which is amazing , they are all very thoughtful and sweet!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I have ever been to. I did an awful lot of research before coming here. Tooth dental care has received multiple awards. All well deserved, as it turns out. Firstly I noticed that it was spotlessly clean with a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The equipment is high-end technology. I felt confident right away that this was the best place. The experience is very much like the customer service you get in America. DR. Ana Krstevska was my dentist, and she was extremely kind and thoughtful. She gave me many options, and it was clear that she cared about what procedure would benefit me the best. There was no up-selling. I felt very comfortable with her, and she was conscientious and considerate of my comfort level. Upon arrival for my first visit, I was greeted by Lara, who went above and beyond with her help with an issue I had, my fault, not the dentist's. Lara is an exceptional office manager with excellent client skills. I found her to be very sweet, kind and considerate. Overall, my experience was as pleasurable as possible, considering it was a dentist and not a spa day. I have found my dentist and have recommended it to my friends, who are also going there. Fantastic experience: I would firstly like to say that Tooth London is a clean and professional dentists. When you enter through the door the receptionists are welcoming. The receptionists have very good customer services and when you need to change your appointment by phone or email they are helpful and quick to respond back. The main reason I am very happy with Tooth London is Dr Ana Krstevska. I really think Dr Ana is a great dentist because she is so professional and explains the whole process from start to finish. Dr Ana makes you feel right at home and calms your nerves down, as everyone knows how scary going to the dentist can be. I visited Dr Ana last year in October for my first check up with Tooth London and she explained what needs to be done and produced a treatment plan. Dr Ana talked me through the treatment plan and made sure that I understood the whole process. I am still in the process of seeing Dr Ana as my treatment plan is close to finish. I would like to thank Dr Ana for all her help and professionalism. You are a great person as you always made me feel welcoming and always have a smile on your face. I hope Dr Ana never leaves Tooth London as she is my new dentist from now and till the future. I would also like to thank Mia the hygienst for her help and also making me feel welcoming. Fantastic experience: Wow! What an amazing find! Great service on email and as soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the receptionist and her lovely, sunny personality. This continued when I had my tooth cleaning where both hygienist/dentist and dental nurse were so friendly. The dentist was really knowledgeable and gave me some helpful tips to make sure that my teeth remained in good condition. The place is also spotlessy clean and in a really convenient location. Will definitely be back and couldn't recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: First time I go there and very happy. Very clean place and professional staff. Dr. Anna Olczak did my revision with no rush and carefully. Negative experience: I had a bad experience with them, found it unprofessional, not worth it the price and not careful to hygiene. To start with the price of the visit on the same day to check a small part of a filling that came out I paid 65£ and was definitely not worth it because the dentist said would have lasted from 7 to 10 days and after 3 days came out and when I asked to get a replacement since it did not even last the minimum amount of time that I got told, the receptionist said that she would have asked and let me know, never heard back from them. Very careless and unprofessional. Also the dentist, Giorgia was the name I guess, was using the same glove to touch my mouth and the mouse of her computer and this is anunhygienic bad habit but also is even worse now because the mouse is a germs and viruses carrier so doing that she is putting in my mouth the germs and bacteria and viruses potentially that are on the mouse and if she does this with every patient she is cross contaminating patients and is also very unprofessional this other than the fact they totally forgot to call or contact me back to do a reparation small filling. I am bery very disappointed by this debtal studio and by the staff, very careless and unprofessional and totally not worth it the money, they lost a client and I had 2 teeth to fix permanently. Really disappointing I definitely do not reccomend it.
Hi Alba, sorry to hear you were disappointed with your service at tooth - that is very rare as you can see from all our other reviews. As you know we did discuss this with you, and we did follow up to confirm everything once more on email - I am uncertain why you didn't get it - it was sent 19/10/21 at 20:06. We would never not reply or leave anything open and have multiple systems in place to ensure this can't happen. Whilst we naturally cannot discuss the clinical details of your case on here, responding to the points on your review: As per the call and the email, a temporary filling is temporary, as the name suggests. It is not a substitute for a permanent filling. You would have been told that it would last up to 7-10 days, not that it would last 7-10 days. Really sorry if this was misunderstood at the time of appointment, but it was explained again on the call and the email. It can often be less - they aren't designed to last in the same way as a permanent filling.
Our Emergency Fee is £65, any temp fillings are included in this. This is our standard Emergency Fee which you were informed of clearly at time of booking - it is not a fee for the temp filling, it is a fee for the time allocation with a Dentist. The temp filling is 'free' as part of this Emergency Fee.
Regarding our management of cross infection. We take cross infection extremely seriously and comply with all of the regulatory standards, including HTM-01-05. We use barriers/stickies for each patient and the mouse is also wiped with medical grade alcohol wipes between patients. There is no risk of cross infection from the mouse.
On the email we sent, and on the call, we mentioned the next steps for you - a permanent filling and gave full details and time slots available for this. This was the next step of your treatment, but we did not hear back from you. If you would like to book for the permanent filling, then please do get in touch on [email protected] or if you would like any notes sent to a new dentist then we would be happy to help.
Thank you for your business to date and apologies again that you didn't get the answers that you were hoping for, but we are comfortable that the service provided, treatments and information given were satisfactory and all of our normal protocols were followed correctly.

Fantastic experience: Very very happy with all treatments and help by Dr. Andreea Miclea specially. She actually referred me to hospital to check a lymph node that has been sitting and swollen under a dental implant for quite a long time. Dr. Miclea has been really caring and helpful all throughout my many fillings and visits to the dentist. Fantastic experience: 1000 stars to Dr. Ana Krstevska ☆☆☆☆ After an extensive search to find a dental surgeon in London to remove two impacted wisdom teeth which were really concerning me due to the complexity of the procedure I decided to go with Dr. Ana I could not have had a better experience. Fantastic experience: I required urgent dental care during the Christmas period and chose this clinic as my first choice as it has a very informative website, ticked all the boxes in terms of advancements and treatments. Many thanks to Phil who responded to my emails, answered all my queries efficiently and thoroughly, although the clinic was closed. He also helped me get an appointment for both consultation and treatment at the soonest availabilty. Regretably I happen to cancel as I was seen in an emergency and therefore was refunded the deposit without any cause of inconvenience.

Fantastic experience: I have been a client here for about seven months and I have consistently been satisfied with the care I've received. I have never had to wait more than two to three days for an appointment, and when I had an extremely painful infection, I was able to get an appointment within hours and have the problematic tooth removed less than a week later. Special shout-out to Dr. Anna and Nikolett who have always been so gracious and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I had two appointments today with Toothlondon today I've been to different dentists in the past years around Waterloo area, I have to admit... Toothlondon is one of the best you can find in that area. My appointment with DENTAL HYGIENIST, LEANNE was awesome , she really did a professional and great job in cleaning my teeth, keep in mind I had a sensitive tooth pain and she was really careful to not cause me any pain. And my appointment with DR. ANDREEA was great too. She did a full checkup and went over my problems with professional manner, and offered me many options of treatments, I was happy and satisfied! And they didn't rush me over with treatments plans like the other dental practices in London that I have been in. It seems the other dental practices they rush you over the treatments plans and make you pay in advance which is really no good, But Tooth Dental Care don't do that which is I liked. Guess I finally found my favorite dental practice in London :)

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dentist for some time, without any success: Most charge outrageous prices not being justified by quality of products nor service. But when I found Anna, I was so happy that I found my favourite dentist. I had some challenging times with my teeth and Anna calmed me down and made sure to explain step-by-step roadmap on how to improve the matter. No matter the issue, she always fixed it. Reception staff is very friendly, too. Definitely recommend a visit! Also another sidenote: The surgery is quite stylish!

Fantastic experience: Visited Tooth a few weeks back and had a couple of teeth extracted. I was lucky enough to get an emergency appointment on the day due to a cancellation and the receptionist was very kind, helpful and welcoming. Dr. Anna was absolutely amazing and talked me through what the issue was and presented me with options rather than just saying what needs to be done and I found this really reassuring. I had two teeth extracted and the procedure was relatively pain-free and smooth all the way through. The prices at Tooth in my opinion are also relatively competitive in comparison to other dental practices in the area and from the receptionist all the way up to the Dentist, everyone is very welcoming and really helpful. I will definitely be going back for a hygiene clean in a few months and will recommend to colleagues, friends and family in the area!

Fantastic experience: Having not seen a hygienist in nearly over a decade (caused by the amount of agony I was in for weeks afterwards) I had developed an irrational fear of getting my teeth professionally cleaned. I could see calculus building up around my bottom teeth and felt it was about time to get over this fear and find a dentist that I trusted to sort the problem. On Tooth being recommended I went 4 days ago and was seen by the lovely and attentive Lauren. I was immediately put at ease and she explained that process of cleaning and scaling. Due to my last bad experience she decreased the water pressure and went tooth and nail at the tartar and calculus. I am so happy with the service I received. I could tell the difference immediately and although I need to go back for more appointments I have no pain afterwards and my confidence has increased. I will be back in 3 months!

Negative experience: My husband and I had a tooth standard shine and I have to say I am really disappointed. Teeth are still not clean (plaque and tartar has not been removed). When I called I was told I should take a picture of the inside of my mouth and they were absolutely not understanding of this.
Hi KR, thank you for your review. We are sorry you weren't happy with your cleaning - it is very very strange for any plaque or tartar to be left after a hygiene session (unless you were informed you needed more time - owing to heavy build up/long time since last visit etc) so, that's why to help identify the issue we would have asked for a photo in the first instance. The reason for this is two-fold: Firstly, sometimes it is just a tiny bit of left over polishing paste that people see or sometimes it is where the tartar has been removed and it now reveals natural tooth colour (more yellow) from below receded gums etc. Secondly, we always want to minimise inconvenience for our lovely patients, so a photo in the first instance could save all the time and inconvenience of an unnecessary visit. However, protocol is that if for any reason someone can't take a photo, or doesn't want to, then we'd book them in for a free review to take a look and remedy if required, which is the process that we followed here. Once again, sorry you weren't happy and I hope that this confirms that as always we were ready and willing to help and resolve your concern.
Fantastic experience: Tooth London takes absolute care in cleaning and looking at teeth. Staff are also very friendly and accommodating. I walk with a stick and have some health issues (where I deal with a lot of pain). The dentists have made sure I'm always comfortable when I come in. I really do hope they don't have to close down, just because of this pandemic.

Fantastic experience: On recommendation by a neighbour last year (in finding it increasingly difficult to attend my previous dentist, who was reducing his working days/hours) I tried Dr Ana Krstevska. What a breathe of fresh air! Though not quite as cheap as my previous NHS dentist (tho having done local research, very competitive within the general market) the difference in service quality highly apparent the minute I walked in.. impeccably clean, modern ‘everything’, transparent pricing, friendly staff, long opening hours incl. evenings which is fantastic for us full-times workers and complimentary tooth product samples. I had a tooth which needed removing (I’d been putting off for months out of sheer nervousness) and Dr Ana did so one Friday eve before Xmas, rightly pointing out it wasn’t serving any purpose just sitting there broken. It was a wrestling match lol (this was my first ever removal, was an old root canal) but she got there with aplomb and determination despite my subtle shaking & quivering. I now require an Implant (not an inexpensive process anywhere, however I feel wholly confident I will get excellent service & treatment here longer term) and in fact was ready for next step in the process just before COVID-19 disrupted the plans. I’ve been living with a big gap in my upper row teeth for longer than envisaged & primarily eating on my other side for months.. so really looking forward to the Tooth team getting back to business ASAP. I should also mention the wonderfully front of house staff who are helpful and professional, in particular Nicolette who was marvellous on that particular occasion and every other, she is so calm, friendly and reassuring, indeed a true asset to the entire Tooth team. Fantastic experience: I came to Tooth to get a specialist root canal done by the endodontist as my dentist did not do this. Tooth were very helpful in reviewing the xrays and information from my dental appointment and did not require an extra consultation (which some were charging at £300). Everyone from the receptionist to the endodonist were incredibly helpful and made for a painless procedure. If you want a reliable, good value dentist, I would highly recommend tooth. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Excellent Dentist! I had a dental implant here (Dr. Eleftherios Martinis) and was very well looked after from start to finish. It made such a difference to have such clear, calm explanations about the different steps of the procedure and prompt reassurance when I worried! Extremely capable, professional and caring staff. Have since returned for standard dentist care and can highly recommend the dentist (Anna) too.

Fantastic experience: I've had a number of visits to Dr Ana at Tooth and can truthfully say that she has taken all the stress out of a visit to the dentist. I've had a variety of treatments and am very pleased with the results. The clinic is also well appointed, super clean and all of the staff make clients feel welcome and cared for.

Fantastic experience: At Tooth was my first dentist experience in UK. Till the moment I stepped into the dentistry I felt scared, but it was unnecessary, because the premises are neat and atmosphere is welcoming and caring there. I would like to thank Dr Ana who explained my situation very clearly by showing on the screen and did a complicated manipulation quickly, as well as the supporting staff - everybody were very professional. I am now waiting for the end of social distancing period to be able to register for my next visit. I like that I can sign up by email, last time all of my communication with Tooth was by email, always very prompt. A pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: Not a fan of the dentist's! but the friendly and reassuring staff made this a pleasant experience and I have been back a couple of times for follow ups and just cleaning. The reception staff are so nice that you will want to go just to see them but when it comes to treatment they are really good. Previously I'd had a couple of dentists that had a god complex and made me feel really bad about not having perfect teeth, nothing could be further from the truth here, they are honest but also kind and make you feel at ease. So all in all a clean, smart and professional place to go with some great people that will treat you kindly but know their stuff and very good.

Fantastic experience: The work I’ve had done has been second to none, they have corrected mistakes made my previous dentist, I felt like every care was taken to make me comfortable and put me at ease. A fantastic dentist, all the staff are so lovely and helpful, from the receptionist to the nurses and the clinicians. Time is taken to discuss options, your views and opinions are considered rather than a treatment plan simply being thrust on you. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Fantastic experience: Great service and I am nervous when going to the dentist however I felt at ease and looked after. The cleaning is so on point the best I have had and they advised me on mouth washes and how to floss correctly etc. This is my dentist from now on very happy with the treatment received.

Fantastic experience: I visited the place twice for Dental hygiene/cleaning treatments. I was treated by Dr.Andreea and Dr.Lauren. They both did a great job. The cleaning was done neatly and without any complication. They also gave some dental hygiene advice which I have been following for the past 4 months. It seems to work very well. They have friendly staff too.
