Fantastic experience: First time visiting this dentist after being referred by my registered dentist. The surgery is very welcoming and clean and doesn't have that clinical feeling so made me feel less anxious. I was welcomed by staff who were very kind explaining everything they were going to do and making light conversation throughout which made me feel more relaxed. I have had teeth removed at another dentist before and they haven't been pleasant experiences but I didn't feel a thing this time around and I had two teeth removed. Fantastic dentist

Fantastic experience: Although not the best experience, having teeth extracted, the dentist made me feel settled and explained everything to me even showing me the bloodied teeth he had removed. I would much preferred my dentistry to be carried out under the NHS, as with my wife and son (at the same practice) as it is extremely expensive for a pensioner and I am not sure how long I will be able to continue with the Private route. I found The Island Dental Care very professional.

Fantastic experience: I attended your practice and saw the amazing Marcin Kazmierczak. As an extremely phobic patient I can’t express what a huge relief it was to be met with a dentist who is not only an excellent dentist but also kind, reassuring, compassionate and polite. I was constantly asked if I was ok throughout the extraction and to my shock, there was NO pain at all. It was incredible treatment. I cannot praise Marcin Kazmierczak and the whole team enough for their amazing work and their kindness. They are on another level. Thank you so much to the team.

Fantastic experience: I attended Island Dental Clinic for multiple tooth extraction, I was highly anxious upon arrival and was met by a friendly receptionist who guided me to where I needed to wait and gave me a form to fill out in which I could tick box how anxious I was. I have Autism and can struggle to communicate my feelings so for me this form was fantastic, as I could tick my feelings rather than say them. Once I went into see the dentist he read my form thoroughly and explained the procedure to me and also suggested conscious sedation to help me cope with the procedure, at one point I did start to panic and Dr Marcin Kazmierczak and the dental nurse (I didn't catch her name) were amazing in helping me carm down and spent the whole appointment reassuring me that I was doing well. I honestly couldn't have got threw it without the help and support they gave me. I highly recommend Island Dental Care to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Hi i would like to firstly say a massive thankyou to Kelsey for taking the time to book me in for an emergency appointment, she new i was in a massive amount of pain. my appointment was for 10:45 at 10:46 i was sat in the dentist chair, this is when i met Anna & Dawn, just after talking to them both i could feel my whole body starting to relax, i told Anna that i hadn't eaten or drank for 4 days as it caused the tooth to fling me around the house in pain, i could see that she was concerned about this, after numbing the tooth she gave me water and a glucose drink, how caring is that, the whole time i was sat in the chair Anna was explaining what she was doing, telling me to breath and try to relax, the tooth took some shifting but she got it out, no pain what so ever bit of pulling and pushing but that was it tooth was out, being a pussy when comes to the dentist i can say that the whole experience was brilliant i have now registered with island dental care and even paid up front for a couple of fillings i need. what a team thankyou. bernie,

Fantastic experience: Francois and I have been coming to Island Dental Care since we moved to the Isle of Wight in 2021. We have always been very happy, whether it is for myself with Anna or Francois with Joshua. Francois had a very bad experience as a child with a dentist and Joshua is just perfect for him. We had to come yesterday for an emergency extraction and Joshua was there for him, which makes a world of difference to us. Fantastic experience: For someone who finds going to the dentist fills me with anxiety, I could have not been put at more ease than I was by Dr Kazmierczak and his wonderful colleague. From the warm welcome at the front desk to sitting in the chair, I was settled and reassured and given CHOICE from the get go. Extremely comforting and informative and just got the job done! Fantastic experience: Island Dental Care is a fantastic practice. After one by one my family moved over to their practice, I was persuaded and have now seen them twice. All staff are friendly and welcoming from the minute you get there. My dentist, Anna, was amazing, she didn't rush, clearly explained everything i needed to know, and I had the most painless Dental experience I've ever had! It also cost me half of what I was paying with another dentist. Honestly couldn't recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: As a phobic patient I have been with Island Dental care for a couple of years after finally plucking up courage to get regular checkups after years of not going to dentists. Unfortunately a tooth we have been "keeping an eye on" (mainly my choice to avoid previous treatment) has ended up having to have either an extraction or a root canal. Having taken the recommendation to try to save the tooth by having the root canal Marcin was fantastic giving me the injection so gently I barely felt it and although the procedure itself took about 35 minutes, it was entirely painless and suddenly over sooner than I expected and and I was left thinking "was that it?!". Will be much braver next time!

Fantastic experience: I'm petrified of the dentist after an awful experience as a child. Joshua is a kind considerate and very professional dentist he took the time to allay the fears I had and was very gentle while performing surgery. I even found myself tapping my feet to the background music lol! Not one single moment of pain during or after the procedure-Thankyou. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dentists. I have been a registered patient for years and unfortunately I have needed a number of emergency appointments which resulted in extractions. It's my own fault due to smoking not the treatment I received. Anna, my dentist is very kind and understanding. I am always seen quickly and I have every confidence in her. I can recommend the dermal filler and Botox also. Either way I always leave in a better state than when I walked in.

Dentist was fantastic, gas air, numbing gel and injections I was instantly relieved and anxiety dropped. Within 10/15 minutes I was out the chair with my molar removed. No pain at all. And believe it or not I didn’t have to take any painkillers after. I couldn’t thank Marcin enough.

He made sure I shut my eyes to test for dizziness and made sure I didn't leave till I was ready. Since being at home I have had zero pain- just slight uncomfortable jaw but my cold was worse than the after pain! Very little bleeding too. Please pass on a huge thank you Julian! Fantastic experience: Following a very unpleasant and painful infection in a broken lower wisdom tooth, I was referred to Island Dental Care for extraction. I was welcomed at reception by a very pleasant young lady who asked me to fill out an "Anxiety assessment form" which I thought was a very good idea. I was also very impressed with the friendliness and expertise of Dr Marcin Kazmierczak who put me at my ease during the extremely rapid and painless procedure. Only local anaesthetic was required and he ensured that I was comfortable during the procedure. I didn't even realise the tooth was out until I saw it on the tray. I was then given written advice regarding mouth care following surgery. I am so grateful to the kind staff at the clinic.

Fantastic experience: My experience with the Island Dental Care has been amazing from their service(treatment and receptionist) they provide; friendly, good communication in polite. Fantastic experience: I was on holiday in the Isle of Wight when I had issues from previous wisdom teeth removal. I called them up and they so kindly squeezed me in with an emergency appointment that same day. The reception were so helpful and informative, and made me feel really relaxed. When I was seen by the dentist, the process was so smooth and quick, they knew exactly what needed to get fixed and I felt really comfortable. The whole team made me feel like I had been attending the surgery for years! Such kind and helpful people, I couldn’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I am always put at ease through the friendly atmosphere when I attend Island Dental Care. There is always time for a chat which makes it feel like visiting old friends so I never have time to worry about what needs to be done.

Fantastic experience: In 2022 I was advised on what toothbrush to use and how to use it effectively. Last year (2023) I met Josh, a recent recruit, and he examined me and took X-rays; he told me I had good teeth and to come back next year (2024). This year was another good result with no issues. I have a booking for next year and will receive an email to remind me so there is no chance of missing it. Island Dental Care are as good as it gets with dentists!

Fantastic experience: Holiday heroes. I was on holiday on the island and needed an emergency appt. Island dental were the only place out of 10 dentists that I rang (even the NHS emergency dentist in East cowes.) that agreed to see me as an NHS emergency the same day. Thanks to Tilly for her lovely email, Gemma who was lovely and helpful on the phone and to Joshua and assistant who treated me with antibiotics which have worked a treat and allowed me to enjoy the rest of my holiday.

I received an appointment quickly, the admin staff were super friendly and professional, and Josh the dentist was clearly very good at his job. He was reassuring, he kept me informed about what the situation was and what he intended to do, and my tooth removal was painless and quick. A day after the procedure I'm recovering well with no side-effects or problems whatsoever. My thanks to all the staff over there for making an anxiety-inducing situation such a breeze to get through.

Anna quickly sorted me out with some lovely antibiotics when I got a tooth infection and i was in absolute agony and about to pull my own tooth out !! Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Marcin to discuss possible sedation options for a large tooth extraction. On my visit I was instantly put at ease by him and his assistant. I felt very comfortable to proceed with an extraction with regular local anaesthetic but without sedation and the procedure was pain free and effortless, with very little discomfort during and after the procedure. Fantastic experience: I am a petrified dental patient and Marcin had previously done some tooth extractions for me on referral and under sedation. I needed a new dentist and there was no question who I wanted as my dentist. I recently had root canal and the thought of having no sedation was scary but I trusted the team and agreed to have no sedation. The care and compassion they all provide is something I’ve never experienced from a dentist. They understand how I feel and the procedure was no where near as bad as I thought. I’m happy and lucky to be a patient there and it is the first dental practice I can can recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal care from booking through treatment. My two children are polar opposites when it comes to the dentist. My first child is extremely anxious, but was constantly reassured by Dr. Anna, and her treatment was tailored to minimize her anxiety. My second child is extremely laid back and did so well with his care that Dr. Anna decided to switch to a more permanent option for his filling because he was tolerating it so well. She is a wonderful dentist who listens to, understands, and cares for her patients. I was honestly blown away by her thoroughness of care and explanations. I do not write reviews often, but this care was above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

With my visits they only do what they REALLY AND TRULY need to do and never do anything without asking and do not do anything just to make money from you.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding service as always. I cracked a molar in half, it had already had a root canal due to the crack several months ago, so needed an extraction. Rang on Tuesday, booked in on Friday 2pm as surprisingly it wasn’t overly painful, and by 2.15 I was walking back outside, the whole process from reception to procedure was very smooth, I had text and email confirmation of my appointment before I’d had a chance to put the phone down, thanks Kelsey! My mouth was a bit reluctant to go fully numb, Josh wouldn’t proceed until he’d administered some additional injections and made sure I was comfortable. The whole practice is a shining example of how it should be done, I only wish you would take over my GP practice, they could learn so much from you!

Fantastic experience: I came to this practice in autumn 2023, having not received any treatment for almost four years, through a combination of the Covid pandemic and subsequent inaccessibility of my previous dentist. A number of fillings were overdue, and I’ve been very impressed by the quality of Anna’s work as well as the friendliness and professionalism of all at the surgery. I intend to remain with this practice.

Fantastic experience: Very efficient and helpful receptionist. Bent over backwards to help my wife get a last minute appointment. All staff friendly and helpful. GBP50 for a checkup, GBP60 for X-rays, GBP75 for cleaning means it is all covered by BUPA. Happy to be a patient.
