Fantastic experience: I went to Kiln Lane Dental on Saturday 15th March to see the Hygienist. I was welcomed by Amy & was introduced to Shaun. I was really nervous & didn’t know what to expect. However, I needn’t have worried as I was made to feel quite relaxed, I was informed of the procedure & the reasons why it was necessary for the future of my teeth. Thank you for the cheerful banter between the two of you, it was really refreshing & instead of feeling nervous I am looking forward to my next visit!

Joanne made me feel comfortable and explained the process during the appointment. I was a little bit nervous at first but I instantly felt at ease. All staff are very friendly and helpful and I am looking forward to my next visit in a few weeks

Fantastic experience: First time attending Dental Practice after recommendation. The whole experience was excellent. Amy made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. She explained everything she was doing and why, making my time there stress free. All the staff were well presented in their appearance and the whole practice was clean and tidy. I have never had this much care and attention with any other dental practice. As a result I am now switching from NHS to this private practice. Fully recommend.

Fantastic experience: Firstly I am terrified of going the dentist due to pre existing health conditions that can be triggered by dentist visits and treatment. This aside i have a huge phobia of the dentist anyway but always went even though i would have panick attacks and become very distressed. Due to having terrible experiences with my previous NHS dentist I chose not to go for 10 years (many people in my area had the same issues with the same place/dentist). Finally having a dental issue crop up i knew it was time to go the dentist so researched online and found kiln lane to have the best most positive reviews. When I finally was brave enough to pick up the phone I spoke to Nicola who was my 1st point of contact. Nicola is such a lovely kind and caring person. She listened and was very kind and reassuring on the phone. Nicola explained everything about the practice and the staff members and payment plan options thoroughly and said you'll never be scared of the dentist again when you come here. Nicola is brilliant. On my 1st appointment to the dental clinic I was in Huge distress and panic. When I got there i couldn't believe what it was like inside. It was so warm and friendly and your guard immediately drops a little. It is not like a cold clinical surgery at all. It's clean, beautifully decorated and lovely sofas and chairs to sit whilst you wait. Nicola on reception remembered me and again was brilliant with me as she remembered I wouldn't be ok. I was taken upstairs for my 1st appointment with dentist called Sophie and dental nurse nakkita. Nakkita Sophies assistant is so lovely too they make an excellent team. I can't really put into words or describe how lovley Sophie is. Sophie is so knowledgeable and professional but at the same time you are so relaxed whilst she is doing her thing you feel like you're having a chat with your best mate. The dentists room also not clinical or scary. Very friendly, warm and relaxed. Sophie offered that I could have my family member sat in whilst we got through my appointment but I didn't need to. I can honestly say this for the 1st time in my 43 years I'm not scared of the dentist thanks to Kiln Lane Dental Practice and the staff i met today. On my way out. Another absolutely lovley person I met at the reception area I think called Joe who explained all costs and plans and what I had to do next. If anyone does read this and you are terrified of the dentist like me you won't be anymore if you go to kiln lane.

Positive experience: I have used Kiln Lane Dental Practice since I was a child. Sadly over the last year the experience hasn't been up to the standard I have been used to. Last year my appointments were changed at short notice and when I did attend I was kept waiting with no explanation for the delay. I put this down as a one off ,however yesterday both of my appointments were late . The first one by 15 minutes and the hygienist appointment by 35 minutes. No explanation was offered. I had to approach the reception staff to ask about the delay. I was told when I got in the surgery that I hadn't been added to Amy's list that day. The treatment was ,as ever, very good and staff friendly and helpful . I do not like to complain but feel that on this occasion I should,as I do not feel I had the usual high quality service I expect from Kiln Lane Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a new patient appointment with Tom and Tyler today after avoiding the dentist for years due to fear and anxiety but I wish I’d have come sooner as I had nothing to worry about at Kiln Lane Dental. From the moment I stepped into the practice they were welcoming and my appointment was a genuinely wonderful experience- which I haven’t been able to say about a dentist before. They were kind and understanding and made an effort to ensure I felt calm and comfortable throughout the appointment which is truly appreciated.

Fantastic experience: My latest appointment On 13/11 was with Louise my hygienist and her assistant. Louise always takes the time to explain any areas i need to concentrate on and more importantly actually shows you how to clean my teeth properly which is a great help. As always the ladies on reception are lovely and polite. I can recommend Kiln Lane to anyone who is nervous about visiting a dentist. Tom is brilliant so down to earth and helpful. Thanks again. After not having a dentist and not seen a dentist for a good few years to say the least, I went to Kiln Lane Dental for my first appointment and after worrying and a few sleepless nights after going to see them all the worry had gone and now so relieved that I've got a dentist who is going to help me!! Positive experience: I had to wait nearly an hour for my appointment as an emergency patient was fitted in. This I wasn’t told upon arrival until I asked if I was next. I also had my hygienist appointment straight after but sadly had to cancel due to the time as I was catching a train and wouldn’t make it.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended dental practice. I hadn’t been to a dentist for years after a bad experience when young. I decided I needed to get things checked out and was told about Kiln Lane. From the start they were excellent, putting me at ease and explaining everything to me. I’ve been going for six years now and wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else. It’s now four years on from my previous review and I’m still going. The standards never drop here and I would highly recommend here to anyone. Faultless in every way.

There is no pressure to undergo any treatment , which I've experienced in other surgeries, and they support and respect your wishes and views. I was also extremely nervous after what I'd been through, Tom & Tyler were very friendly & welcoming & made me feel like nothing was going to be too much trouble. They're actually a pleasure to be around. After alot of hard work on their behalf & a good few visits I'm now an extremely happy lady! Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years because of previous experiences with NHS dentists. From my first appointment I was completely put at ease. I even had 2 crowns fitted without any pain or stress. I would recommend the monthly payments which give you two dentist and hygienist appointments a year, it makes sure you go :)

Fantastic experience: People who have experienced a tooth abscess will know how painful and anxiety-provoking it can be, especially if it happens on a weekend while you're on holiday! The staff at Kiln Lane were brilliant, super helpful on the phone and arranging an emergency appointment for the Monday. The dentist I saw, Jade, was equally brilliant and I was quickly sorted out with the necessary antibiotics and went away feeeling reassured by her calm professionalism. A superb service, fully deserving a five-star review.

Fantastic experience: I can't say that I love visiting the dentist but I can say that Kiln Lane offers the least hateful experience of any dentist that I have ever visited! The reception team greet each patient by name and explain exactly who you are due to see and when. The hygiene team are friendly and explain everything clearly and calmly, in an understable way. My dentist team (Jade) are calm and friendly. There are lots of opportunities to ask questions but it's okay to just listen to advice and explanations. I can highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous about going to the dentists from past bad experiences. I booked an emergency appointment with toothache and the staff was amazing. They made me feel very calm and comfortable and after a tooth extraction I was pain free again. I have now returned on several appointments which is a first for me and this is down to the excellent care and treatment from the staff they are all amazing people and very friendly. They talk you through everything they are doing and this helps when nervous. Thank you to all the staff keep up the hard work and thank you for welcoming and easing me into your practice.

Fantastic experience: Fed up now of being nagged "how did we do" by e-mail. Lots of new e-mail messages without any warning or explaination. Now wondering what's happening at the dentist. High staff turnover, at all levels, lots of 'new faces', was not like this till recently. From entering a familiar surgery, I'm now wondering who will be there. Level of service, still OK, but I do wonder. Happy staff stay around. Updated November 2023. Very organised, with professional service. Inspires confidence in their services. Negative experience: I should say that I have attended kiln Lane practice for many years with no issues at all but I did walk out yesterday after a hygiene appointment with a new...to me...male hygienist. His bedside manner leaves alot to be desired and he should remember that I am paying him and not the other way around. He could learn alot from Jo who is wonderful

Fantastic experience: Would like to say a very very big thank you to the practice for today. Yesterday I knocked the filling off my front tooth leaving me a very uncomfortable very large chip in my smile. Reception were lovely and managed to get me in the next morning to see Jade who was incredibly patient and kind with my nerves. She really took her time to fix the problem properly and my smile looks better than ever, you would never even know it was a repair. Beyond thrilled with the work and very thankful to her for her commitment to making sure it looked good as well as functioned.

Negative experience: This establishment used to be an NHS dentist, but over time it has transitioned into a private practice, which undoubtedly generates higher profits for the dentists. However, it seems that the focus has shifted towards marketing and aesthetics rather than upholding traditional values. The emphasis on appearance and promotion is so pronounced that it almost resembles a nail bar rather than a dental practice. Having lived in America for a period of time, I witnessed firsthand how their healthcare system operates. It would be an understatement to say that I do not wish for a similar system in England. Private dental is one thing, we can just about afford it, but let’s be careful.

Fantastic experience: Again, fantastic customer service from Kiln Lane, the people really make the place. Lovely smiles at reception, great dental treatment and advice and a superb practice manager makes for that personal touch.
