Positive experience: Hygienist. Lovely ladies in the very small Hygiene room. (don't go into the small room if you are claustrophobic) Oxygen jet didn't work too well at the beginning, as, no water or air coming out. Payed for an Oxy clean scale and polish. I got a brilliant oxygen clean but no polish on the outside of my teeth like I did last time with the pink polish cream. No 6/12 month text message reminder to book an appointment. Got a reminder for my son to book an appointment nhs text message. Booked my private appointment after receiving my sons text message. As we have appointments at the similar time of year. Would of got a 5 star otherwise.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency dentist with Thouifaqar Shamsa yesterday and just wanted to say Thankyou so much for your time and patience with taking my tooth out. He was very patient and explained everything to me clearly and made me feel calm and made sure I was taken care of. This is my second visit with him and I would recommend this dentist since I have had bad experiences at other places and couldn’t fault anything they do :)

Fantastic experience: Went to Synergy in Preston for my tooth removal and my dentist Mohammed was excellent. He explained everything to me in detail and thoroughly went through each steps of the procedure he was going to carry out. He was very professional and very prompt and knew exactly what he was doing. He pulled it out in a minute and I was in and out in 15. Deffo recommend Mohammed 10/10 service.

Fantastic experience: I was referred her by my dentist for an extraction. Before my appointment I was so worried about having my wisdom tooth out. The only thing I felt was the injections but wasn’t so bad. My tooth was taken out in a matter in minutes. I have had absolutely no pain in the past 24 hours which I believe is from the expertise of the dentist removing it. Thankyou for making my experience way more traumatic than I perceived it would be.

Negative experience: If I could give no stars I would My grandma went to these not long after she lost her husband wanting a new smile, paid a lot of money for veneers and fitted teeth, her bottom teeth don’t even fit and her veneers are dropping out not 18months later been back so many time to get the fixed for them to drop out again it’s caused her nothing but hassle would not recommend going here at all save your money and go turkey

Fantastic experience: I initially attended Synergy Preston for a smile make over consultation with Ali as I wanted to know my options for worn-down teeth due to bruxism. On my first appointment Ali carried out an intra oral scan where I got to see my 3D stimulation. At my second appointment Ali showed me the design of my new smile to ensure I was happy with what he had designed and to decide on a shade. We decided that emax eneers were the best option for me due to severe tooth wear. The third appointment was my trial smile where Ali had the moulds made so I could see what the final veneers would like and to check the shape. On this appointment Ali carried out a final scan to send to the lab. The final appointment was when Ali fitted the veneers, and they look amazing! I am so so happy with them and I can't thank everyone enough at Synergy Preston! Thank You Ali

Fantastic experience: Recently had an implant through synergy dental Preston, Ali was my implant specialist. The whole process from top to bottom has been seamless. First procedure was at the end of March and just last week had the tooth fitted onto the implant. It’s perfect it’s brought my smile back. The work has been done perfectly, and been I’ve very well looked after. Ali was amazing and has been wonderful through the whole process. Fantastic staff, especially Paige at reception and Jen the hygienist. Everything went well and I appreciated Jen holding my hand. Went for one tooth but it ended being two teeth. The dentist (I'm sorry, but I don't remember his name) undertook a complex extraction. He listened to me and was very professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Although my extraction took a lot longer than expected the staff were very helpful and nice and overall a good service and experience.

Negative experience: Do not recommend one of my veneers came off after 12 months and I had to pay another £600 for a crown as a veneer wasn’t suitable for the tooth in the first place. 2 years later and another veneer has come off so having to pay another £600 for yet another crown as that tooth isn’t suitable for a veneer either. Be better going to turkey don’t waste your time with this place

I was quickly seen to, I felt very comfortable with the dentist in question and the work was painless & quick. I was surprised as well when a day later, I got a follow up call to see if everything was settled. Really good service!

Fantastic experience: I cried when I looked in the mirror from the joy I had. I was overwhelmed. Truly an amazing visit with Ismail and Imanya yesterday. Start to finish making sure I was comfortable all the way through and stopped when I felt things were too intense for a second so I could catch my breath (I have medical conditions too). I hated my teeth and this appointment made me incredibly anxious, however, I needn't be! They really put my mind at ease, explaining everything from start to finish. I can't thank you enough. I couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: i was very nervous coming for my wisdom tooth removal appointment today, as my regular dentist told me it would probably be a complicated procedure due to the nerve in my jaw being very close to the roots of my tooth. Firstly, the dentist took an x-ray picture, which was more detailed than the one my normal dentist took. He then clearly explained to me why this would instead be quite a low risk procedure and ensured i fully understood everything before proceeding. He also informed me of the different options i had, ensuring i didn’t feel pressured to rush into a decision. During the extraction, both the dentist and dental nurse made me feel comfortable throughout and it was a quick process. I really appreciated the professionalism and expertise of the staff. Overall a very good experience, and i would recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Synergy by my dentist for a complex wisdom tooth extraction that was infected and causing pain and terrible breath. The surgery, staff and dental team were amazing, despite my anxiety, the sedation went smoothly and I have no memory of the surgery, a pleasant side effect. I really appreciate this team. I would happily transfer here if I could afford private care! Date of experience: 06 January 2025

Negative experience: I was referred here from my own dentist for a tooth extraction. When I arrived, it seemed alright and the dentist was nice enough. Receptionist however, she wasn’t very welcoming. The dentist was expecting to remove 3 teeth but I was only aware of 2 going through and 1 being watched. He decided, for some bizarre reason, to only remove 1. This was not the nicest extraction and I’ve had a tooth out before to compare to. I was bleeding quite a lot after it. The dentist said “Are you going to work tomorrow?” To which I replied “Yes, shouldn’t I?” He laughed and said I’d be fine. About 3 hours passed and I was bleeding heavily, I had a mouth pool of blood and couldn’t spit it out (advised not to). I got in touch with Synergy who said to go to A&E, I spent 6 hours there to only be given gauze after gauze and then was told I had to contact synergy for stitches the next day - this meant I had to take a day off work, unpaid, So I called synergy, the same woman on reception informed me this wasn’t their problem and I had to call my dentist but I insisted on someone seeing me. They got me an appointment and I was just given more gauze when it clearly wasn’t stopping. Dr Ali (I think) finally decided to stitch me up which was extremely painful. It looked a complete mess and it was disgusting. Taste, smell, all of it. I called the next day concerned of an infection because of the taste and smell but I was told if I had one, I’d be given some. So I booked an appointment with my own dentist who said I had a raging infection, it was in fact a mess and the pain must have been awful. They also said my other tooth should have been removed because it’s causing significant pain. I spent all of Christmas on antibiotics and in pain and lost a days pay, all gross negligence on Synergy and their awful service. I gave 2 stars because both dentists surgeons were nice enough and put me at ease, but the way I was dealt with and the receptionist needs looking at. I don’t recommend this clinic and by the looks of other reviews, i wouldn’t go back for an extraction.

Fantastic experience: My visit to Synergy dental practice was due to a referral for an extraction. As I was very anxious about having the procedure done, the dentist made me feel a little less anxious & as calm as possible. The whole procedure took 10 mins from start to finish. A little sore for 24 hrs but so glad it was finally over. They telephoned the following day with a courtesy call to check everything was ok. Overall as I don't like going to the dentist I'm so glad I came here I couldn't recommend enough, lovely and friendly people. Thank you so much. In a nice way though I hope I don't have to come back :).
