Fantastic experience: Hygienist Sadia was very lovely and professional!
Negative experience: Sales-driven and rude staff. When I registered as a new patient over the phone they said "...and so you know we do botox." Had an appointment where the dentist told me I needed invisalign and that they could book me in for a £40 consultation; when I said I wasn't sure he said he would do it for free. Once had to cancel an appointment, which I did with plenty of notice, but they charged me the full price. I called and the receptionist said I must not have cancelled and said I needed to show proof that I had. I went over in person and explained my story, and the woman from the phone recognised me and whispered to her colleague not to refund me. I then showed them my calendar where I had crossed out the appointment and my call logs showing a call to them a few days before the appointment. They refunded me and I've never set foot in the place since.
Fantastic experience: Have been a client here of Dr Padma for years. She has my every confidence and I find her very kind and patient keeping me informed at all times. I have referred several friends to her.
Negative experience: I've been a patient for 30 years. They cancelled an appointment made 6 weeks in advance at 2 days notice. Despite three calls they've failed to give me a new appointment. Standards have fallen off a cliff I need them to complete a half finished extraction where they broke the tooth in the jawbone.

Fantastic experience: A truly wonderful surgery, I suffer with EXTREME dental anxiety which has made visiting a dentist incredibly difficult for me. Today I came in for part one of my root canal treatment with Dr Padma and Shree. I was terrified regarding this appointment but for no need, I didn’t feel and thing and Padma and Shree were incredibly lovely and made me comfortable immediately. Ann on reception is such a lovely, friendly person who can’t help you enough. She is able to settle my nerves with a friendly chat before my appointments.

Fantastic experience: Got an opportunity to visit Wandsworth town Dental practice on an appointment with dental hygienist (Priyanka) and nurse (Assalamu). It was wonderful experience. I have been greeted and explained about the procedure thoroughly. Throughout the procedure staff members were with me and supporting me. They treated me extremely professional manners. Negative experience: Disgusted at how I was treated today. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I had a 10 minute check up appointment. I was late 7 minutes which is unusual for me. The practice was practically empty and the dentist had no clients. I was told by the male receptionist that I needed to book another appointment and come back another day. Ridiculous. Dont bother giving them your business, there is far better elsewhere. I've had a response from the business that doesn't change my view. They could have at least offered me the option to wait for a 10 minute slot to come up, at my risk. Instead they are being facetious by asking me if I would have been happy being seen for the remaining 3 minutes of my appointment.

We are truly sorry for the negative experience you have had with us. We have gone back and looked at all the circumstances pertaining to your appointment with us on the day, and for clarity feel it necessary to elaborate a response for you here.
You and your wife both had back to back appointments with us on the day. As you correctly said, you were 7 mins late for your 10 mins appointment. During the ensuing discussion with the Reception, your wife apologised for the delay saying she mistook the timings, and it was agreed that she be seen by the dentist for her appointment (which was scheduled after yours). Her appointment lasted for 15mins (5 mins over the scheduled time) and the Reception offered to reschedule your appointment, which you were happy to do at the time. The next availability was after the 15th of May, but on the request of the dentist and some re-jigging by the reception we managed to offer you an appointment for 2 days later, which you were happy to accept, and the appointment was booked for you.
Please know that on the day there was no availability with any dentist in the practice at all (all our available appointments pop up automatically for booking online as well) - if there was anything available why wouldn't it be offered to you - it is far more inconvenient for the receptionists to have to change bookings, call up patients and have to reschedule! Also it is a huge waste of the dentist time to have 'no clients', your dentist would prioritise to see you, and if you are late for your appointment they will ask you to reschedule if they have back to back bookings and cannot accommodate you as there is no extra time available (which is usually the case). If you are 7 mins late for a 10min appointment, the only options are: 1. Seeing you for the remaining 3 mins of your appointment, (would you rather be rushed? Probably not fair to you as the patient to have substandard service or fair to the dentist to have to stress about squeezing what they have to do in less than half the time) 2. Using up another patient's 10mins of appointment time (this has a knock-on effect on all the subsequent appointments of the rest of the day!) or 3. Rescheduling you to a time that is convenient to yourself. You might agree that the latter is the best option, which was offered to you and at the time you were happy to have a new appointment the same week. Also, you were not charged for the missed appointment (missed appointment fee is our practice policy and usual for most places - dental or otherwise).
We really appreciate your custom for the last 20 years, and try our very best to look after all of our patients. We would be grateful if you appreciate that offering to reschedule your appointment at no cost of missing your original one, and bending backwards to make one available for you the same week, is quite reasonable and the most we could do at the time. However, if there is anything more we could have done in this case please let us know - we are always striving to improve ourselves and are very receptive to feedback. Also, if there is anything we can do for you in the future please let us know, we will do whatever we can to look after you.

Shavi, who managed everything over the phone, was incredibly helpful, calm, and professional — he really put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I can’t rate this dentist practice enough. My appointments are always prompt, and on one recent occasion where I needed an emergency appointment (which turned out to be a sinus infection and not dental related) they saw me same day and were able to prescribe antibiotics. Padma is a wonderfully warm and caring Dentist, as are all the team working there. When I initially signed up I expected a long wait list, but throughout I haven’t struggled to get appointments and didn’t wait for my first appointment. Not sure what else you could want, just be respectful of their time like they are of yours.

Negative experience: I recommend avoiding this dental practice and choosing a different one instead. The staff appears to be there due to nepotism and lack of professionalism. During my visit, three dental assistants handled the X-ray of my jaw, but none of them knew how to adjust the headrest properly. They also struggled to explain the problem to me. It took them 20 minutes to figure out what they were doing wrong, which was frustrating. Additionally, while I was there for a cleaning, one of the dentists accidentally created a hole in my bottom front teeth.

We are however not sure if you have perhaps mistaken us for someone else? We have tried hard to tally you and your comments but unfortunately haven’t been able to identify you as our patient.
The X-rays are taken by the dentists and nurses who are well trained in their use - as a busy dental practice you can imagine that hundreds are taken every single day. Also we cannot fathom how a dentist could create a hole in your teeth whilst cleaning? Negative experience: The reception staff was very unprofessional. I was only seven minutes late for my appointment, but they didn't know how to communicate properly. The dentists were also not good, and I had a very bad experience. The clinic used to have excellent staff, but ever since the management changed, the service has gone downhill. Don’t waste your time and money—go somewhere else.

We have had a detailed look as a Practice at all the particulars pertaining to your case, and feel it’s important to elaborate a full response to your comments here for clarity.
You were 12mins late for a 15min NHS appointment. No money was asked from you for any (previous or future) treatment or the missed appointment - no charges whatsoever. The Reception had the following options on the day:
1. Let the dentist see you for the remaining 3 mins of your appointment time. This may not have been a good option as the dentist would not have been able to do their job properly and you would not have had a satisfactory appointment.
2. Take the full required 15mins, using the time from the next appointment. This may also not have been a good option as it would have meant delaying the next patient who was already there for their appointment, and also subsequently delaying all the appointments for the rest of the day, putting undue stress on the dentist as well as the Reception, and being unfair with time for all the other appointments.
3. Rescheduling your appointment to another day that is convenient to yourself. This felt like the best option, which was offered to you.
This third option was given to you and communicated in the nicest possible manner when you came to the Practice. You were not charged for anything, there was also no penalty for the missed appointment (which is usual practice for most places).
We feel it is quite unfair to blame the Reception who were only doing their job (and in turn got shouted at), and it is unfair to say anything negative about the dentists, who you had made the appointment to see several times before this incident (and indeed had come again to see on the day) and never raised any concerns about.
We have a zero tolerance to abuse policy, our team works very hard to look after everyone in the best possible way and we are also very receptive to any feedback or concerns and bend over backwards to accommodate as much as we can.
Fantastic experience: I’ve just completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr Ahmed and would recommend this practice. All the reception staff are lovely especially Ann! I feel so much more confident smiling now my teeth are straighter and whiter. Dr Ahmed is always helpful and has an attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: Recommended by my best friend to see Padma, and all my worries were put aside. Fantastic experience: I went to a variety of dental clinics upon deciding I wanted to go ahead with Insvialign. Dr. Abdul Ahmed was the only dentist who took the time to a) explain the end to procedure and considerations b) outline the likely results based on my teeth (and advising a traditional brace would gain a better result). Upon confirming I’d proceed (with Invisalign), he supported the decision and was prompt in booking the various appointments, always mindful of doing so around my working day. He was reliable with scheduled appointments, polite and highly aware of any discomfort I may be in during each appointment. He continuously provided feedback and his professional opinion on the treatment to ensure the best results were achieved. It was a very professional service, and I’m delighted with the result. Negative experience: Had to rebook a one year-old baby appointment after being late literally 10 minutes due to an unexpected nappy change. Zero empathy.
Dear Fer Pagani, sorry that you had a less than satisfactory appointment with us. We have tried to call you a few times to discuss this with you, and even left message. Just to briefly clarify as we have been unable to speak with you, you had 2 back-to-back appointments on this day, you missed the first one and came halfway late into the second appointment, the dentist still saw you for what was left of the second appointment. You were happy with the appointment and there wasn’t an issue with either the dentist or the Reception at the time, and we saw you after that again for another appointment a few days later and you didn’t raise any issue.
Please note that if our patients are halfway late for their appointments it puts the dentist as well as the Reception in difficulty as it has a knock-on effect on all the subsequent appointments. Many times the dentists may still see patients that run late, or take extra time in the appointment, and as a result need to apologise to their next patients for seeing them late, this causes stress and difficulty. We completely understand unforeseen circumstances, and will try to swap or change appointments as best as we can to help. But please know that our NHS appointments are already full to capacity, we have long waiting lists and we try to accommodate everyone as best as possible, some empathy for our hard working staff and other patients in-waiting as well please would be greatly valued. We are more than happy to discuss any grievances you may have, and continue looking after you and your family’s health.

Fantastic experience: I have completed my treatment with Dr Tania last week and I could not praise her enough! Dr Tania corrected my bite, made a bridge for my front tooth and bonding for both my upper and lower teeth and the end result has made a world of difference. Not only has the look of my teeth improved a great deal but all my face looks significantly better and younger. My jaws work perfectly now and I have a beautiful smile. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment today, for part extraction, with an independent doctor/dentist ‘Tania’ Wandsworth Town Dental Practice, she couldn’t do enough for me, from putting me at ease, having a conversation about my past and encouraging me to better myself. She tried her hardest to extract the whole tooth, before a decision was finally made, that she had to refer me to the hospital for treatment under NHS. She was wonderful, kind and considerate to me and I would be happy to see her, in the future, as we had a pleasant rapport. Thank you Tania 10/10

Fantastic experience: Ann, what a ray of sunshine in this miserable weather. I called to say I was going to be late and she immediately swapped my appointment so I could be on time. Honestly, people like her are a breath of fresh air when you see them on the front desk. She's genuinely bent over backwards to help me in multiple occasions. Doctor Vee is also fantastic. She gave me solid, honest advice about potentially getting implants. I had a consultant talk me out of implants. She tried to convince me to get bridges instead. Thank God for doctors like Dr Vee, who told me if I was her mother or daughter then she would not recommend bridges in my situation. I could have further damaged my teeth. This is why a good demtist is so important.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tania and Dental Nurse Lalain of Wandsworth Dental Practice were excellent in performing and completing my Bridge Treatment in a matter of weeks. Dr Tania and her Dental Nursing Assistant were very precise , skillfull in doing the treatment.The treatment was done with great dexterity and professionalism. I am extremely satisfied and pleased with the dental treatment .I would highly recommend this dental practice for professional dental care. Fantastic experience: Went to this Dentist for my first time in 6 years visiting a dentist. Dr Tanay made me feel very comfortable. I had to have 2 fillings as a nervous patient I was a bit scared but was pain free, nothing to be scared of. All staff are polite and lovely. Would highly recommend this dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: What to mention Ann who is excellent at her job, I've had a few problems with the telephone systems and staff not getting my messages when trying to book or cancel appointments and one of the receptionists being rude when I challenged this and she in not so many words called me a liar. Ann sorted it all out for me and took the time to make me feel listened too and appreciated. Between Ann and Dr Padma who is an amazing dentist and always makes me feel at ease, I am giving 5 ☆

Fantastic experience: Amazing NHS care from lovely dentist Tanay and incredibly attentive nurse Dhara today. I have some dental anxiety after previous negative experiences at other dental practices and feel very lucky to have been so well looked after. My injections today were particularly painless and I felt listened to and calm. It was lovely to see a dentist and nurse who get on so well and who appreciate each other. I’ll be back in six months and would be delighted to see the same team again.

Fantastic experience: The service that I have always received from all the staff at Wandsworth Town Dental Practice, and that I continue to receive from them now, is impossible to fault. They are courteous, friendly, diligent, and expert, and they all go the extra mile to make sure that their treatments are as efficient and as effective as possible. Fantastic experience: I have been at this Dental practice for many years and have been fortunate to find Dr Padma, a most excellent dentist. She has seen me for rapid treatments when needed and provided excellent preventative advice as well. She has excellent clinical technique so her injections for dental treatment cause minimal discomfort. Her patient manner is so gentle, kind and reassuring she has been seeing my whole family who constantly sing her praises. My mother happily underwent dental treatment with her despite a former fear of dental work. She also reassured one of my colleagues who also had a fear of dentists. Fantastic experience: I'm a very nervous patient, Vee & her assistant in surgery 4 made me feel at ease. Absolutely brilliant dentist. I have a bad gag reflex and she has helped me so much even with me having a walk and dance around the room to stop me from gagging, when I had to do a mould set. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would say Tanay and Dhara have fantastic in dental treatment. I was struggling with teeth pain from last 2 year bland then I came to Wandsworth dental practice for permanent cure. I met Dentist Tanay and I would say he is most experienced and Fantastic Dentist I ever met. Dhara was very supportive during my treatment. He has been our family dentist for the past few years, and I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism and excellent care. Dr. Ahmed is always kind, helpful, and attentive to his patients. He truly knows his job well and goes above and beyond to ensure his patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. Not only do my kids really like Dr. Ahmed, but they are also never afraid of visiting the dental clinic, thanks to his friendly and reassuring demeanor. Fantastic experience: Dr Tanay is incredible. I am terrified of the going to the dentist. He made the whole experience as stress free as possible. I will now not see anybody else! I had to have a fair few fillings and I am scared of needles but he calmed me and had the patience to let me process everything. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr Tanay is so wonderful, before seeing him my anxiety was so high I hadn't seen a dentist in 10 years and now even though I'm still nervous I feel safe and taken care of. I would definitely recommend visiting.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful people now, the practice has recently undergone change in management and it’s a lot better. All of the dentists and nurses are excellent. I just had a whole root canal treatment and Dr Matthew had amazing chairside mannerisms and the dental nurse.

Fantastic experience: I have done the invisalign treatment at this dental practice and am very happy with the result. Dr. Abdul and Dr. Suhaila have been very professional and explained everything well throughout the process and took the time for me to get the best result. Would absolutely recommend.
Negative experience: . I definitely experienced poorer quality of service. Had two appointments cancelled in a row at short notice on the way to the dentist, and cost me two days loss of pay. What is more the tooth implant I had from there after an accident fell out few years later and when I went back to have it fixed the replacement fell out within 10 minutes of leaving the clinic. They also slapped on charges for the repairs. i also had my complaint about my experience, ignored. I was also told that the dentist what does the implants only works Monday which makes it difficult to see them at a time what suits my work commitments. I have been left with a mental peg and a gap in my teeth which has destroyed my confidence and very rarely smile. That said the reception staff are great Finding a good Dentist is really hard to find. I also can't find the money for a replacement implant elsewhere as I had to save for years to have one and basically it was a wasted investment. I hope I have explained the root of the matter.
