Since joining the practice, I have always had an excellent service. I had an emergency appointment this morning and I was seen within 30 minutes and treatment provided which helped with my concerns and follow up appointment given. Fantastic experience: My 13yr old daughter was looked after by Mrs cottom and her team at both harborne and acocks green for her braces, her teeth are amazing and can't thank them enough for the care and honesty, especially when my daughter was nearing the end of her braces but wasn't quite ready..she now has retainers and is super happy she waited that extra few weeks, I can't recommend them enough, great service and caring team..thank you Mrs cottom amd team!!

Negative experience: Dentist very rough when filling, tongue was very sore for day's after. When I flinched did not ask me if I was all right just carried on. I won' t go there again!!!

My first few experiences were not soo good but since I saw Ikhinder Jheeta I feel much safer as she is much better than the other dentists I've seen in the past (several years ago). She's pleasant, gentle and explains everything she's going to do. She checks if you're ok during treatment and she also gives good recommendations... Pleasant receptionists too.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of this lovely practice for nearly 17 years now. My dentist Mike Richard’s is the BEST dentist I’ve EVER had in my entire lifetime!! He’s patient, kind, friendly and he genuinely cares about how I’m doing. Due to a health issue I decided to have ALL my teeth out and have dentures, after having fillings and some teeth removed I decided to ask Mike to remove the rest (against his advice)! But he was professional as usual and after 3 appointments it was all finished. When I got my new dentures I thought they’d be clumpy or uncomfortable..but after 2 appointments to shave them down they fit like a glove ..AND I can Eat with them in, but the best thing about them is they LOOK completely Real..no none can tell I’m wearing dentures instead are shocked if I tell them they are not my real teeth!! As far as I’m concerned Mike is THE Best dentist Anyone could want. My Son is also a patient of his, and he has a long waiting list of people lining up for his services. Which makes complete sense. I’m privileged and so greatful to have such a professional, dedicated, gentle, funny (we’re always cracking jokes), and talented dentist. It really does make all the difference.Keep up the awesome work Mike. Five Stars Always!!

Negative experience: Your receptionist is not a professional person . Allo she doesn't deserve to be in that chair , coz she can't offer any help. When it comes to ur workers ther are the good guys , they told me a i m aggressive towards them , why coz if it was private dentist with cash off course they would have their mouth shot but if u on benefits no one care about u . I never disappointed more in my life . UK is over in 20 years coz no one does job professionally they suppose to do . All fake degrees to get a job. Cottam's Dental should carry out some training to learn customer service ... absolutely disgusting they don't offer any kind of help .

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental service from everyone in the practice: receptionists, dental nurses, hygienist & dentist. Friendly, yet professional approach. Recommended some years ago, their expert preventive & restorative management helps maintain my dental health. Whenever I've had an emergency eg toothache, they've been able to see me, & provide a solution either the same or the next working day.

Fantastic experience: I had my crown changed last week and I am so happy with the result. I haven’t smiled properly in years because of my old worn out crown, but that’s all changed now and I couldn’t be happier. The whole process was quick from start to finish and Dr Richards explains everything very thoroughly all the time. I would have not gone to anyone else or anywhere else. Thank you truly!!! Oh and not to mention I don’t feel pain anymore when I brush my teeth. I am so so happy!

Fantastic experience: Went to Sandeep today for my appt. She decided I needed two teeth out. Now I'm a nervous patient but she made me feel at ease and it was over in no time. I was a bit shaky after but she walked me down the stairs to reception where I sat for a while. Thankyou so much for being caring.

Negative experience: I took my 13-year-old child to Cottams Dental for a routine orthodontic visit, and we were absolutely shocked by the experience. Dr. Cottam was incredibly rude and didn't even acknowledge us properly—she barely turned in our direction and spoke in a way that made it unclear if she was addressing us or her nurse. Her treatment of my child was, frankly, abusive. She made harsh comments about his brushing habits despite the fact that he is diligent with his dental hygiene. Her tone and attitude were unnecessarily harsh, leaving my child feeling judged and upset. He now dreads going to the dentist and feels like visiting this place is a punishment rather than a routine visit. This experience has been so negative that it's impacting his mental well-being. If I could rate this place a 0, I absolutely would!
