Fantastic experience: Literally just out the door from my first ever dental treatment - root canal. Came in absolutely distraught with worry but left with a weight off my shoulders. Fantastic experience: My name is Morag Peden over the last few months I have had dental work done. Dr Bashir is my dentist, the dental nurses were Alison and Bev. everyone was friendly and explained all that was being done. I had dental implants inserted into bottom of my mouth , the right hand side. This has made a big diference to my mouth. I now have teeth. they just look as if they are real teeth. I have had a ceramic restoration inserted into mouth on upper right. Just now I have had my old fillings removed x3 and awaiting three more ceramic restorations. These will be available start of April. I will have teeth instead of black fillings which will be much nicer. During treatment my favourite music is played. Either Cliff Richard or Elvis. Sometimes Dr Bashir joins in the singing. Lets just say he is a good dentist. I would recommend this dental practise.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in dentists before. I’ve seen the equipment, the nurses, the dentist. I’ve seen it all before. I mean this place is very nice. Modern. But I’d never been treated like this. Dr Bashir explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He continued to do this throughout my treatment and it made the experience unique. If you like me had been terrified of going to the dentist then Falkirk Dental Care is the only place I was able to relax while in a dentist chair and I am unequivocally recommending this place. On a personal note one of my appointments I couldn’t get get to Falkirk from Glasgow Dr Bashir went out of his way to pick me up. That is the kind of man he is. I couldn’t believe it. Fantastic experience: Just finished having a dental bridge fitted, and as a nervous patient I can assure you I was not looking forward to it. But I needn't have worried, between Dr Bashir, Alison & Beverleigh I was well looked after. They made me feel relaxed, and talked me through the whole process. The staff throughout the practice are very friendly and professional, and I couldn't be happier with the finished work. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, particularly those who are nervous about going to the dentist.

One thing I have seen and learnt the most at this practice is the way they make the patients feel their most relaxed selves while having their smiles fixed. Negative experience: The actual dental staff are great, however the office/admin staff including management leave a lot to be desired. I have dental insurance so ask for itemised bills to send to the insurance provider, this is consistently either ignored or sent as a non-itemised bill, even after explicitly asking for an itemised one. Why is this not standard in the first place? Anyway, another occasion a charge for a missed appointment from 4 years prior was added, dated from March 2020 (the month lockdown started). I asked for an explanation of this and never ever received one, and the deposit I paid for my next appointment was swallowed by this charge. I spent months asking for an explanation (emailing roughly once a month), being promised callbacks and never receiving them, and just got madder and madder. After 5-6 months waiting for someone, anyone to sort it out, I gave up and registered with another dentist. Don’t get me wrong. This dentist is fine since the actual dentistry staff are great, but god forbid anything goes awry that you need help with from the office staff. Highly unprofessional, lacking the most basic of skills required for the job that they’re paid for. I’ve had far better service at the barras in Glasgow.

Fantastic experience: Simply the Best 2 year journey almost complete (1) Dr Bashir has been phenomenal in transforming my overall oral health. (2) Completed Invisalign with there affiliated award winning orthodontist Dr Mustafa (Ocean Orthodontic Clinic) (3) Extremely pleased with the smile makeover with crowns and veneers been fitted. Being a complex case I’m very fortunate to have found Dr Bashir who has went the extra mile for me at every turn and I am eternally grateful for the time and effort he has spent on me. Negative experience: I went here for private dentistry and every time I stepped in into Dr Bashir’s office I was asked to complete thousands of pounds worth of treatment during check ups. On top of this he is rude to his staff. Completely money-driven. Worst part is the reception staff. They will ignore your calls and don’t call you back. I had my wisdom tooth removed and needed help due to pain, they never picked up the phone. On top of this, I left a voice mail stating it is an emergency and no response. Go to another dentist!!!

Update, 2 years after my first review: just back from some emergency treatment to a filling. Guess what - still a fantastic practice. Great treatment (pain free of course), very friendly and welcoming staff, and a very modern and comfortable environment. Further update, 3 years later: I'm running out of superlatives. Reflecting on Pam Ayres poem, "Oh, I wish I’d looked after me teeth", my equivalent would be "Oh, I wish I'd met Dr Bashir 60 years ago." Simply the best dental practice around; it's not even close.

Negative experience: I have just walked out of this practice utterly disgusted by how I have been spoken to by Carol on reception. We were told a high amount for a bill and I dared to ask questions about this and request a copy of the bill. I was told this wasn't possible but that she would email both myself and my husband the bill, funnily enough neither of us have been sent this. She accused us of not wanting to pay when I was happy to pay but just wanted clarification of what I was paying for. My 14 year old son was with us and spoke about how rude she was and how she was tutting at me and sighing. It was actually embarrassing to see somebody in a customer facing role act in such a rude and unprofessional manner. She asked the dentist to come and deal with 'these people' and for some reason referred to me as 'sir' I can only imagine this was an attempt at being derogatory. The dentist told me that it wasn't her fault and she was just going by what was on the computer. I asked him not to make excuses for her behaviour. Regardless of what the computer says there is no need to speak to customers in this way. I will be making an official complaint via the practice manager. Hopefully it can be resolved at that level but if not I won't have any issue with taking this further.

Negative experience: Moved to this dentists back in April 2024 after hearing good reports. Can't fault the dentists work, however in the 5 appointments I have had 4 have been cancelled months in advance and cancelled again later with no reasoning given. If I cancelled this much I doubt the dentists would keep me on system. Will be looking for a more reliable dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I had neglected visiting the dentist for 10 years due to a bad experience in my teens. I returned this year and met Dr Bashir. When I first met Dr Bashir he told me and in his words "I'm going to change your life." How can dental treatment change my life I thought. Fast forward 6 months and from my hygienist appointment with Kristy cleaning 10 years of build up from my teeth, referring me to the practices dental therapist Neringa who has completely overhauled how I clean my teeth and gums and is fixing a ridiculous amount of cavities from my own neglect, and referring me to a hypnotherapist stephen for issues with grinding my teeth causing jaw pain. Everything Dr Bashir has done for me spans well beyond what I would expect from any dentist and from my catch up with Dr Bashir and Alison today there's a clear roadmap for my treatment that seems to come natural to them. I Can't recommend them anymore without walking you through the door myself!

Fantastic experience: I am in the process of getting Invisalign treatment with Dr. B at Falkirk Dental Care, and it's going really well. Dr. B, Bev, and Alison are all very friendly and make experience very pleasant! Never thought I say that about a dental appointment! The clinic is flexible with my appointments and truly takes care to understand my needs. I have sensitive teeth, and tonight I had my teeth cleaned with the EMS machine. Fantastic experience: Can’t praise Dr Bashir and his dental nurses Alison and Bev enough. I’m midway through my Invisalign journey and they’ve been incredible at every step. I delayed getting braces for years due to a horrendous fear of the dentist but the team have made me feel at ease at every appointment due to their kindness and humour. They also take time to explain exactly what is happening and why, which has greatly reduced my anxiety which I didn’t think was possible. I recently had an issue with an aligner not sitting correctly and sent a text to the team about 6.30pm and they had me in the practice that same evening to sort the issue, which is incredible service. Also want to mention how professional and welcoming Ahmed the practice manger is. He helped me get everything in place for my treatment and always takes the time to check in on my progress whenever he sees me. First class set up.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient and as a result do not visit the dentist. I have just completed a course of treatment including a 5 hour composite bonding appointment and I cannot rate the experience highly enough. Neringa was incredible, putting me at ease and working in a way that was so relaxing. the results are just amazing, I had 5 bottom teeth worked on and they look like new! I absolutely recommend Nearing and Falkirk Dental Care to anyone looking for excellent treatment and patient care.

Was originally going to turkey ruin my teeth but Dr Bashir the main man told me to come for a routine check up since then we have been working on my teeth to get them back to a good standard with a couple of implants and changing all fillings to white ✅

Fantastic experience: I got braces by Dr Bashir 10 years ago and it was the best experience. Unfortunately I lost my retainer during Covid and my teeth have since moved, so I decided to come back. I’ve had some pre brace treatment done by Nerinha Babusis and she is just an amazing person! When she talks you can tell she’s passionate about her work, and when I had to go in early on a cold Monday morning for some work to get done, she had a heated blanket to put over me! It’s small things like this that make the visit less daunting. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Game changer! Had an appointment with hygienist yesterday, always a little anxious as my teeth are sensitive and it’s usually quite painful. Now however there is a new machine that heats the water up and it was an absolute breeze! Can’t believe the difference, no pain at all. So happy!

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful team. I started my Invisalign teeth straightening journey in Feb this year and have just begun the teeth lightning process. It's been a great experience . They all put you at ease and are very clear with their information. Dr Bashir is an extremely skilled dentist and keeps his knowledge up to date with the latest advancement. Most recently introducing the pain free Quick Sleep anaesthetic. I had it a few weeks ago and by far the best numbing experience I've ever had! Highly recommend Falkirk Dental Care

Fantastic experience: Had to make an emergency appointment after breaking my front tooth level with the gum which I got the next day. As usual the service and workmanship was exceptional resulting with my crown replaced on a post and no after pain. Because of the seriousness of the break I will have to have to a implant long term.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Falkirk Dental Care for many years now (just after they opened) and I have had nothing but the best treatment and advice in regards to my dental needs. I have seen 3 dentists in that time and I must say that my current dentist is Marta, she was determined to save a tooth that had broken as it was almost down to the gum line and needed root canal treatment done. The x-ray showed that the roots were really far down this excessively long tooth and luckily for me had the longest tool in her vast array of equipment to do the job with millimeters to spare otherwise the tooth would have to be taken out and all this work done painlessly. I am currently having treatment for a crown and was seen today by the hygienist Karen who gave me better advice about my teeth cleaning methods while she attended to my teeth and made sure that I was not in any pain while she worked away and all while I could do nothing but to look into the most blue eyes I have ever seen which took my mind off everything happening. I am lucky to have such a devoted, caring dental practice to look after my teeth. Thanks all at FDC.

Negative experience: I was looking for a dentist for my elderly wheelchair bound Mum for over 3 yrs due to COVID. Mum couldn't use her old dentist due to moving house location. The Staff at this dental practice are amazing, efficient and caring. They bent over backwards to accommodate my mum's needs. 5/5 This is an important update regarding this dental practice. They have repeatedly cancelled my elderly Mum's appointment 5 times in a row now. She has had 1 appointment after the initial assessment. This 1 appointment I had to visit the practice to speak to the manager. The person I spoke to turned out not to be a manager at all !!!! After another cancellation I again asked speak to the manager. The real manager didn't contact me back - Avoid avoid avoid. This practice gives you hope then rips it repeatedly away, over and over and over again. They should not take on new patients if they don't have enough dentists to cover continual sickness. If I could give a 0 I would.

Fantastic experience: I have an extreme fear of the dentist and can honestly say this is the best, most considerate experience I have ever had- at the ripe old age of 58! All the staff are friendly and reassuring and I would highly recommend Falkirk Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Ive been seeing Neringa for the last three years, and she’s really gentle, professional, and thorough. Her composite fillings are so flawless that they look like natural teeth. Neringa always takes her time, answers all my questions, and never makes me feel rushed. If you're nervous about dental visits, she’s the perfect person to put you at ease. 10/10, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: had work done today in preparation for a crown. I have really awful dental anxiety, and this amazing dentist was just so calm, professional, kind, gentle and patient with me. I can honestly say I did not feel a thing!!! Going to the dentist is not my favourite thing to do, but this lovely young man made the visit a very relaxing experience. This dental practice strives to do their very best to make all their patients comfortable and happy. At one point the manager, then the owner of the practice came in to the room to make sure I was ok!! Today, my usual dentist came in to ask if I was ok and to tell me I was in good hands!!
