Fantastic experience: I had a Dental Hygienist carried out today. Excellent work and service in all respects imo.

Negative experience: Sat on my phone waiting for over 30 minutes but absolutely no answer. Yet whilst waiting I filled out an enquiry form and was rung back within minutes to try to get me to sign up as a private patient when I was looking to join up as a nhs patient. I find it frustrating that their sales time is clearly bigger than their reception team. I know no dentist want new nhs patients due to the lack of money to be made from this branch of medical care. Thank GOD doctors don’t take the same course of action

Negative experience: I was an NHS patient, told the dentist doesn't do tartar removal and had to book a private hygiene appointment for £82, had 2 hygiene appointments waiting 9 months for each, then told I've been discharged as an NHS patient for not seeing the dentist in 18 months. The dentists and hygienists themselves have been nice but the practice they work for is a scam cashing in on the shortage of NHS dentists and making people go private.

Negative experience: No NHS. So I paid £100+ for an appointment. To be told my denture needed replacing at approx. £2,000+ and much more work needed for over £1,000+. Can’t afford it so now £100 down to be told I need work done. I knew that!

Fantastic experience: The whole team are amazing. Pleasant , make you feel welcome but to the point . Monika the dentist was amazing. Friendly, calm, confident and made me at ease with injections etc. Worked smoothly , keeping me informed and reassuring. Completed in time and cannot praise her and her whole team highly enough. Had another appointment today , and as usual, the whole team were efficient, understanding and made the experience bearable ,as dentist appointments tend to worry me. Monika was brilliant again with the large filling completed effectively and efficiently. Five star service . Her dental nurse worked so well with her. TEAM work.

Fantastic experience: Not sure I have the words, I had a massive dental phobia from childhood I’m now 48 years old, I was laughing and joking at the end of my first appointment, the treatment I’ve received has been first class. Thank you to all the staff I’ve made a good choice I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

Negative experience: Recommended by 111 for an emergency appointment for excruciating tooth pain, as soon as I mentioned 111 the lady immediately told be she had no appointments available, they do not take on NHS patients and they only have private appointments, she didn’t let me explain my problem nor did she let me explain that I would have been happy with a private appointment. Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Today my partner visited the practice for a extraction after requiring emergency treatment a few weeks ago. The extraction experience was amazing and clearly explained by Laura. Whilst he was being seen I sat in the waiting and could hear Beth answering calls. She was polite, helpful and seemed to go above and beyond answering questions, and offering advice. From requiring emergency treatment to this point the experience has been professional from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Check up was carried out efficiently and only about 5 minutes later than my appointment.

I saw Giulia Metallo today and was very impressed she is a lovely lady and spent time on my examination then explained in detail what was happening. I felt very comfortable and relaxed which is a lot for me as I’m not a fan of dentists

Positive experience: £75 for a check up appointment, which took 5 mins. I am only here as my daughter needs an NHS dentist. She is autistic. Very minimal check up for both of us. Very little chat from staff. No chair for family member. No indication of when to book next appointment. Depressing. I have never actually had any treatment other than a check up so can't really comment on their dental work. If you are 5 mins late/miss the appointment they charge you for the appointment. Shop around. There must be something better, but hey there is no dental service in this country but am sure whoever runs a dental company makes a decent profit.

Negative experience: We have been on the waiting list for more than 6 years and were unable to get an appointment…. My daughters dentist left and they have now been on the waiting list with no option to book an appointment for more than 1 year… No support to get a dentist…

Negative experience: Wife and I in there maybe 5minutes for a very very very basic check up - charged £100 Prices have gone UP UP, no notification of this just a very small price print out on the notice board which is different from the website. Ouch - extortionate.

Negative experience: After an initial good experience in January when I joined this dentist, unfortunately I can’t say the same for my most recent experience. I joined under the “simplicity” scheme which was a happy ground between private and NHS costs as no dentist has NHS space at the moment. I went to my most recent check up expecting this to still be the case and having budgeted accordingly. I walked in and took a seat in the waiting area, the receptionists were chatting and the f-bomb was dropped, which I thought wasn’t professional but assumed they'd forgotten I was there so not a problem. I went for my check, which lasted about 2 minutes, was asked if i wanted this or that done (felt a bit upsell so I said I’d think about those), but I agreed to a clean whilst I was there. 15 minutes total and my appointment was done. I was told I would have to pay £20 deposit for my next appointment (not a problem) so I expected a bill of maybe £100 with that deposit. It was £135. I was shocked so just sort of paid and left. I then later, after thinking about how 15 minutes had cost £115, then emailed asking for a breakdown of costs, which after a couple of back and forths were sent, and I asked why the prices had gone up so much on the simplicity plan. It was only then I was told that plan had been cancelled in August and it was full private costs. No apology was given. I had not been informed of this, and I find it very underhanded that I had to drag this information out of them after the fact. To not tell people, particularly given the current financial climate is very poor customer service.

Had a quick clean too All done quickly, professionally, but not hurried or rushed I’d definitely recommend them x

Fantastic experience: I needed a deep filling. Monika was very efficient and gentle throughout. The lignocaine injection was the least painful I've ever had. She frequently checked I was okay and had no pain. She took great care to ensure that the filling was the correct height. Although such procedures can never be described as pleasant Monika and her assistant ensured that I was as comfortable as possible throughout. I would recommend them very highly.

Linda takes the time to help you feel at ease, to explain everything and answer questions, as well as providing excellent dental care. The practice is also very responsive when contacted for advice and help, and have always managed to fit me in when I’ve needed extra appointments for treatments!

I was seen by Emma at the allotted time. She seemed very thorough and was considerate towards any physical discomfort I experienced. I left feeling the treatment was well worth having.

Negative experience: Was told by 111 that this dentist does emergencies. Walked in to the dentist and was welcomed with a stern look. No smile or anything. Was told they don't do emergencies even though I use to be registered there. Certainly will not go there again. Tried another dentist given to me by 111 on Aylsham Road and no problems. Got me in today. Where is the care anymore from certain dentists. Plus these guys were welcoming when I rang them.

Negative experience: Rude receptionist and no help whatsoever. They offer services they can't fulfil and don't call back when they should. No NHS service and terrible private service, looks fresh and new but the people experienced let the whole thing down with their condescending and judgemental attitude.

He explained both the procedure and the after care post-extraction to me well. I was assured the procedure will be done pain-free. It was. At any point if I felt it was uncomfortable, we stopped till I was ok. As a patient, I felt respected and supported. I highly recommend this Dental practice.

Fantastic experience: While booking an appointment to have a checkup, I explained that my previous appontment had been cancelled, and during the time since, I had some issues that were causing trouble and needed advice. After hearing of my concerns Linda arranged for me to come in for a checkup the next day, and was able to provide the advice, and confirm treatment for my next visit. Many thanks for the advice, I am now sure I am able to stop the problem worsening.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been patients here as a family for many years . Without a doubt the best we have ever been to . Receptionists are friendly and helpful . Monica our dentist is amazing …. We don’t want to share her with anyone else !! She is kind , gentle and very sympathetic to my nervous disposition !! Even through covid the surgery managed to uphold our appointments and on the occasions that we have needed an emergency appt they have always squeezed us in quickly . The surgery has had a recent make over , it’s clean and modern .
