Fantastic experience: I have been using this Dental Practice for over 30 years. There have been many changes during this time. At present I cannot fault the service they give. Totally professional and committed to delivering excellent dentistry. Very friendly and welcoming with a beautifully calm and understanding approach especially to nervous patients. Can’t fault this practice.

Positive experience: Good dentist! I’ve been coming here since a child. Friendly staff, nice warm feel in reception and very clean!! Only negatives I would say are, it’s quite expensive and they are usually running late. I often find I’m waiting 10-15 minutes ontop of my appointment time… other than that I can fault it.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is never high on a list of exciting days out but my experience with Burford Road have been as good as it could be. The staff are welcoming and the dental team always explain what they will be doing beforehand and tell me that should I feel any discomfort during the procedure to indicate it and they will stop. Parking is never an issue and the waiting area is bright and confortable.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this Practice for a number of years despite moving my home location several times. Initially I was a very nervous patient but the professional and careful work to my teeth has I think helped me overcome any fear of dental treatment and more importantly ensured healthy teeth and gums. I use the NHS service and my dentist Anna and hygienist Susan provide excellent care. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and always very polite.

Fantastic experience: As an extremely anxious person visiting the dentist I was absolutely petrified, however, my experience could not have gone better. I felt really reassured by the dentist and he was very clear with the treatment I need and explained everything to me. He took his time and made sure I was ok with everything.

Fantastic experience: I joined the practice on a private basis in the last year and my dentist is Nicole. I hadn't been to the dentist in years so was quite embarrassed coming in for my initial appointments as I knew I'd need a lot of treatment. Nicole has been great - she is so friendly, easy to talk to, and gentle. I've also had a root canal with Adrian and again I had a great experience considering it's not a pleasant procedure (!). Private dental care is undoubtedly expensive but I know I am in good hands at this practice and that makes all the difference. Highly recommend if you're looking for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Extremely satisfied and grateful for all Michael Pope's expertise today. I had three fillings in one session (because they were for adjoining teeth), therefore one injection only needed. He really cares that his patient is comfortable and carefully explains all that he is about to do and then swiftly does so. Did I enjoy the whole experience, no (I would rather there hadn't been the need for treatment and there are far more pleasurable ways to spend a sunny morning), but do I think it was probably one of my best experiences ever with a dentist, a resounding yes. I thoroughly recommend him and the practice. Many thanks Michael and your team.

I have never had a filling before, so wasn't really sure what to expect, it wasn't uncomfortable atall, and they look the same colour as all my other teeth, very happy. Thank you Anna, great job!

Fantastic experience: For someone who doesn’t normally look forward going to the dentist, I can honestly say that since I joined Burford Road Dental practice in 2021, they have been superb and have changed my view. My dentist, Michael and hygienist, Lisa, are very friendly and so professional. They put you at ease and talk you through each stage. Additionally, the ladies on reception are so helpful and courteous. Definitely no regrets and I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Needed a filling. NHS dentist, Anna, was very thorough and descaled my teeth while waiting for the numbing to take effect. Anna checked that I was happy with it and made a slight adjustment so I was very satisfied with the service.

Positive experience: Nicole is wonderful as is her nurse. Thankyou. As with some other dentists the reception staff are lovely too but there can be a feeling that it's a charity rather than a business

Positive experience: I find my dentist, Mathew, friendly and very good. He gives good advice. The practice is always clean and tidy with friendly and helpful reception staff. A shame I can't get in as an NHS patient but this seems to be a problem everywhere these days.

Fantastic experience: Michael Pope is my dentist at this busy practise. My appointments never feel rushed , they are relaxed and informative when I have needed treatment to the available options. This is very much appreciated as like most people a visit to the dentist is not in the top 10 of places to go to. Last year I had a problem with a large molar tooth. When it was xray'd it was fractured in about 5 places , Michael explained what had happened and we talked through what could be done. At all times I felt I was fully informed and the decisions were mine to make. It was my decision after talking it through fully to try and save the tooth as it was a large tooth and Michael went with my decision and did quite a bit of work to save the tooth, I had to go back probably 3 times while Michael did the necessary checks that the filling had worked. After 9 months the tooth has been successfully saved and has given me no problems. I would say Michael is one of the best dentists I've ever had and I am extremely pleased with the care, attention and treatment I have had since Michael was my dentist at this practise.

Fantastic experience: This was my third sedation, first one at Burford Road Dental with Michael, and by far the most relaxed experience. I had a tooth extraction. Michael and his team were incredibly supportive, understanding, patient and friendly. As someone who struggles very much with anxiety around dental procedures, I highly recommend this practice and Michael for sedation. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. My regular dentist is Matthew Giudici who I cannot speak too highly of. I have had emergency treatment from two of the other dentists too and they have also been very professional. The hygienist service is equally good too and the receptionists are very friendly. Decent amount of car parking space as well which is handy. Reasonably priced and have never felt hassled to commit to any costly treatments. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Becky is always kind and gentle and incredibly patient. She immediately puts you at ease from the moment she collects you from the waiting room and is always keen to make sure that you are comfortable. She keeps you informed of what is happening throughout and provides helpful advice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with this dentist for many years, can’t fault it, organised, calm reception, waiting area puts you in a good place ahead of the dreaded chair but even that has always been a pleasant experience, friendly practical advice from the hygienist, excellent comms with the Dentist, no issues when having a crown that took more than an hour on multiple visits, all very professional, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I left a message to cancel my appointment 24 hours in advance, as required. Within an hour, I received a call back offering me a convenient same-day appointment. They are friendly and go out of their way to assist, so I highly recommend Burford Road Dental.

Fantastic experience: I've been registered with the practice since March 2020, during this time COVID and all, I have received very good treatment and service from Olga Hall, Chris and the reception staff. I must thank Olga for all her work as in my case there was quite a lot of it to do. I fully appreciate that working under the COVID restrictions is far from ideal. ***Update*** 29 Jan 2025. I would like to thank Michael Pope for the very good service I have received from him and his assistant. This covering a period of just over twelve months. On the three or maybe four of my appointments, Michael has treated me with patience/understanding, professionalism, all carried out in a friendly manner. Also another good bit, I like watching the tv on the ceiling! . ***Update*** 17 Feb 2025. A big thank you to Michael Pope for making adjustments to my dentures to-day, making it a great deal easier to wear them. Also, thank you to the Reception Staff, who are very helpful in all aspects. I thoroughly recommend Burford Road Dental Clinic.

Positive experience: The background music in the Waiting Area was so loud as to obscure the patient's name when being called by the dentist's assistant. Perhaps it could be softened or turned off whilst names are being called?

Fantastic experience: Recommended to go to this dental practice by family and friends as my own NHS practice were less than helpful when I was in pain. They saw me quickly, sorted the problem and following their advice my teeth are doing great, so I have stayed with them. I have had to go private now. Staff are friendly and helpful. Premises clean, light and airy and on one level.

Positive experience: Firstly I’m not the best of patient especially when you have to have injections in your mouth, but Burford Road Dental was brilliant, the dentist talked me through what was going to happen, even assured me that the injections would be fine, just a little pin prick, and within 15 mins it was all over tooth out, and i was ready to go. Can’t praise them enough, fab job, well done, and that’s coming from somebody who is terrified of dentist and needles. It’s given me much more confidence for my next appointments.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Lajja at the practice and I wanted to say thankyou. Lajja is an amazing dentist! I clench my teeth at night and she has been doing a great job on preventative work for me. I had a crown fitted on a back tooth which fits perfectly, using the scanner the practice has (no sitting waiting for paste to dry!). Lajja also replaced my retainer and the new one is really comfortable. I can't speak highly enough of her expertise and her ability to explain everything and to me put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Burford dental since I was a small child, next month I will turn 59. For many years Mr Skyes was my dentist and following his retirement I struggled to connect with his successors. That was until Michael Pope joined the practice. He makes me feel so comfortable and is just a really nice chap with a very relaxed and calm manner. If anyone feels nervous like I do when visiting the dentist, Michael will put you at ease. Also deserving a shout out is Susan Timpson (Dental Hygienist and Therapist) who is always so lovely everytime I have an appointment with her. Thank you both, you really do make a difference.

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient to Burford Road Dental and the practice is great, all of the staff are very friendly, attentive and reassuring (especially for someone not so keen on teeth...!) Matthew did a fantastic job at rebuilding my tooth which looks very natural and took great care of me during the appointment. It's easy to make an appointment and they're proactive at letting you know if there's cancellations so very happy with my experience so far.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Sue for a couple of years at Burford Road Dental. Sue has made a huge difference to my teeth and gums - both from her thorough cleaning and from her advice with brushing and dental care. After suffering bleeding gums for years, since seeing Sue, the bleeding has disappeared almost completely. I’ve seen lots of hygienists over the years and Sue is the best by far.

Fantastic experience: My dentist Laura understands my extreme fear of dentists. She is so calm. Tells me what the plans are and what will be happening. She is always kind and caring to me. She is the best dentist I have ever been to. My teeth have always been problematic from the age of seven and it has taken me four years to go back and see one.

Fantastic experience: Dr Olga Hall and the dental nurse were both great during my filling. Olga was patient and explained every step of the procedure which made me feel very comfortable. The filling itself looks and feels great. The reception staff are always lovely too!

Negative experience: Disgraceful & Extremely disappointed with Burford Road Clinic. Very distressing experience. Undoubtedly offering treatment that the dentist is not qualified to do. Avoiding answering crucial questions for the treatment. Sadly I did not see any professionalism and capability, besides the shameful way they treat a patient. Disreputable and dishonourable attitude from the Dentist Dr Fabienne and from the manager. Worst experience with dentist/clinic so far.

Fantastic experience: I would give more stars if I could…. I had not been to the dentist for a very long time and teeth were in a state. I was nervous and embarrassed but the service I received has melted all my fears away. No judgement, just support and advice. Nothing but a welcoming environment from the very first contact. Cannot say Thank You enough or recommend them more.
