Fantastic experience: Very professional dentist , clean and caring

Negative experience: Very disappointed with how the appointment went with regards to removing a tooth. I was told that on the NHS I would have to wait six months to have a tooth removed. The other option was to pay a private consultant £170 just to have a look at my tooth and then I don’t know what else it will cost to remove the tooth. We are now living In an American style system, where if you don’t have money you cannot be treated. Very dangerous path we are on.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely happy with today's visit to your dental practice. My dentist was considerate and patient, he explained what was causing the problems with my bleeding gums and how to rectify it. He gave me oral care advice and recommended a different kind of toothpaste, we agreed a plan to work together on the issue and for me to see him again in 3 months. Thank you.

I had the AirFlow treatment and honestly, my teeth have never felt cleaner or looked brighter. Fariah was incredibly gentle yet thorough, and took the time to explain everything she was doing along the way. She has such a lovely energy — it genuinely felt more like a pamper session than a dental visit! Thank you, Fariah, for such a positive experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Negative experience: An uncompromising dental practice whose management, I think, doesn't hold the customer at the heart of the service it offers; a business that is seemingly so confident in its base liquidity that one is awe-struck by its willingness to lose any and all future business and earnings from an unhappy customer in favour of rigidly adhering to a its penal processes without regard or thought for what impact it might have on their future. A quite staggering self-aggrandising inflation, in my opinion.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for a few years, including pre COVID and being in my 50s have seen a lot of dentists over the years. The COVID times were obviously exceptionally disruptive for dentistry and the return to a new normality slow. However, personally, as a NHS patient who has the odd non NHS treatment, I think the place is excellent and Id definitely recommend it. It is very well organised with reminder emails and phone calls 2 days before your 6 month check ups. Appointments from at least 0830am, friendly staff, friendly and chatty dentists willing to offer detailed practical advice and make 'reasonable adjustments' to accommodate people's needs and irrational fears ( eg slowing speed of de scaler to reduce discomfort) spacious waiting room, disabled ramps and disabled parking outside. I ( and family) don't plan on moving.

Fantastic experience: Although the outside appearance of Broadway Dental in Compton Street Winchmore Hill looks fairly dilapidated, the service of the Dental consultants and equipment is firsts class; Mital my Dentist devised a personal dental plan for me, with excellent results. Mr Satin's initial care was also excellent; I am very pleased with my treatment.

Negative experience: I've been twice here and unfortunately feel obliged to leave an honest review. My first visit with one of the dentists there over a year ago was great. Polite and thorough with his work. My second visit consisted of me getting a composite bond to fix a gap in between my teeth. "All calls are recorded" as stated on the telephone message, and I mentioned to the receptionist how I was previously advised my smaller tooth would cost £150-£180 TOTAL to close the gap, depending on where he would concentrate on putting most of the compound bonding. On the day, I reiterated £150 was how much I was expecting to pay to fix this gap, as confirmed over the phone. . As I'm sitting down mouth wide open, I'm told they would concentrate on two teeth to close the gap in question. That's fine, who am I to argue if that's what an expert recommends to fix the gap in question. But this is when it should have been made explicitly clear to me that the total price at the end would double, and it wasn't. At least give me the chance to say no. The appt finishes and I get told I owe over £320. I'm really disappointed as I have recommended this practice to a lot of people and unfortunately won't be going back. Being completely transparent and open, none of my friends have had any problems at this dentist up to now.

Fantastic experience: Replacement permanent crown fitted by Anish easily and professionally. The crown feels great in the mouth, better than the previous one. Always great and friendly treatment at Broadway Dental. Had a bridge fitted this time and I must reiterate that from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentists (Paula being my usual dentist) everyone is friendly and professional and must surely help dispel the fear of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Saw Maya the hygienist. She was so friendly and knowledgable discussing my health and assessing me before starting the clean. The clean itself was so thorough and she made it as comfortable as possible. Can’t believe she got rid of all my stains, my teeth look so much better. Previous hygienist didn’t remove these. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had to get an emergency dental appointment through NHS 111. They called and got me booked in here quickly. My dentist - Solmaz - was absolutely incredible. Extremely friendly, explained what was happening at all times; made things feel a bit more personable as opposed to just 'visiting the dentist.' In and out within 20 minutes, without any pain or discomfort.

I always feel at ease when I visit their amazing practice and it’s always so clean and smells really good. She gives the best advice on how to look after my teeth’s and also she really does genuinely care about her patients. My teeth always look much better after each visit and I can honestly say I couldn’t have asked for better dentist. This young lady deserves a noble price award. Fantastic experience: I had an emergency appointment today and I’m my usual nervousness attending the dentist. My dentist was exceptional and very personable, it’s like she knew how to distract me to relax me during the procedure. If there was 10 stars she would get it too in this review. I didn’t catch her name amongst my nervousness but the young lady dentist had vibrant pink scrubs. What a gem of a dentist!
