Was persuaded to finally go here after my husband had a good experience with them. They are so nice, so friendly, so supportive. I saw Rebecca today for a hygiene appointment , which I'd never had so was nervous. She was amazing, explained everything, went slow, stopped to see how I was doing, and put me at ease. Negative experience: useless. dentist couldn't even see the chip in my tooth. she had to take a photo so I could show her. So much for professional. Worse than that they have taken a booking fee they had no right to take and are refusing to refund it. AVOID

Fantastic experience: I walked yesterday into White Dental surgery at Finchampstead with a huge abscess, pain and anxiety. Dr Zenfira Haigh identified and treated the cause of problem, her professional and calm attitude made me feel that I’m in safe hands! Post appointment care plan was also explained in details. I now clearly see that swelling has started to go down, and most importantly I haven’t got that terrible pain! I would highly recommend Dr Haigh to anyone who wants a gentle, professional and talented dentist!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend enough Dr Chloe Magyar and the whole team at White Dental Finchampstead. Dr Chloe is the best dentist I have ever had, she is so professional and so nice and friendly. It’s the dentist you would 100% trust as she would always explain everything in details and recommend the best options without trying to upsell unnecessary and expensive procedures or products (something I have experienced quite a lot before!) The reception team is also very nice and helpful, they are very quick and responsive, and they always make you feel welcome and relaxed in the waiting area. The appointments are always on time and I never had any issues with the parking.

Positive experience: Very professional & personable, easy to understand, took trouble to explain what action should be taken, agreed a follow-up appointment for one of the teeth requiring treatment. Disappointing that I had to be referred elsewhere for the root canal treatment & the fitting of two replacement crowns, when in the past this was done locally by another practice.

Positive experience: I have had some great treatment here, Chloe always explains treatment and conditions clearly. Having said that, reception procedures require some adjustments. I had booked an emergency appointment and was told about my options. I left to consider the best way forward. When I called to book the treatment, I was told I need to book an assessment and they would advise on treatment. I explained that this had already been done ( inc X-rays) but was told this was the procedure. Long story short - if you go away to decide, you will have to re book and pay twice for an assessment and X-rays.

Negative experience: My last appointment was at 8.30, I turned up 10 minutes earlier as I did want not to be late to my appointment and miss the school traffic, the receptionist made me wait outside building as they don't open until 8.30 and would not let anyone wait inside, even into the reception/waiting area. I also had to miss my hygienist appointment because they no longer send reminders. They make you book 6 months in advance and use to send a reminder a week before in case you could not make it. They no longer do this and only ring on the day. Unfortunately I could not make the appointment as I was out of the country. I asked if they could move it but they could not as it was less than 24 hours notice and I lost my deposit. I will be looking for a dentist who has greater customer service.

Negative experience: Booked a new patient appointment for 08:30am (surgery opening time) but ended up waiting for 30 mins to be seen. Not the best experience for a new patient. If they are facing unexpected issues, it would be better for them to be candid with the patients.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is really good and thoroughly professional. I’m an NHS patient but feel looked after as if I’m a private patient! The two new receptionists are amazing, super friendly and very accommodating seeing to it that I had the best experience possible. I noticed they were like this with all their customers. I wouldn’t normally write reviews but these guys are so good I felt the world should now. Credit where credits due and all that. Thank you for your five star treatment it was much appreciated!

Negative experience: Emergency appointment. Told the tooth wasn't infected and didn't need antibiotics.No extractions until September at £400 a tooth. Attended another dentist for 2nd opinion, tooth was infected and had tooth extracted same day.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend them enough, especially Dr Toral Bhalodia and Dr Mohammed Atweh. As someone who’s had a fair few unpleasant dentistry experiences in the past, I am very much a sufferer of dentophobia. I’ve been treated with nothing but the absolute best service from White Dental. They've been great and all treatments I’ve needed have been done without the pain or complications which I’ve always encountered with previous dentists. They were thorough when checking if I was sufficiently numb and were generous with the anaesthesia in areas which needed further numbing (Obviously there’s some discomfort that can’t be avoided in dentistry, but this was at a much lesser amount versus when I have had the same treatments from other dentists in the past).

Negative experience: Dentist is always running late. Taken my.daughyer for an 8:30am appointment and sat waiting for 25mins before being seen. Dentist arrived at the surgery 15/20mins late. She has also forgotten about my appointment before. Sat and waited for over 30mins before being seen. The receptionists on both occasions had to remind the Dentist we were waiting.

Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous and anxious dental patient due to bad past experiences so when I knew I had to have an emergency appointment last week at a new dentist surgery, I was a bit of a nervous wreck! I booked my appointment at White Dental in Finchampstead with Dr Aniyyah Syed and noted my anxiousness in the online form when I booked. I was very well looked after from the moment I walked in to the way I was cared for throughout the appointment and even when I was just about to leave the practice. I need to go back for more work soon and even though the anxiety will still be there, I know that I will be well looked after by a great team. Thanks everybody!

However while I attended 10 minutes early and appointment started 15 minutes late, there was neither acknowledgement nor apology on my being kept waiting. Quite surprised, but disappointed too and doubt I will hear anything back on this now . . . .

Positive experience: I'm a young adult who suffers with bad anxiety and I find going to places such as the dentist really difficult to do. I took my mum with me because of how anxious I was and when it was my turn the dentist asked how I was. My mum helped me to explain how I was feeling which caused the dentist to be very kind and patient with me. She explained everything thoroughly and slowly so I understood. Also, if I wanted to stop for a moment I could. They were all very lovely in there, even the receptionists.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to join the practice as an NHS patient but there was no space so I joined as a private patient. I got early appointments and there is never a long wait at the reception and it doesn’t take long to get an appointment. I have been there three times now, twice for a check up, once to replace a filling and I had nothing to complain about. If you don’t mind the cost, the practice is a good choice. The only thing I can say is for a potential patients to double check costs with the practice as cost displayed while booking the appointment might be slightly different from the actual cost. Also note that there are deposits to be paid each time before booking any appointments which could be more than half of the total cost. Overall, great service and friendly staff. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: After calling 20 dentist in the course of morning just to be told they have gone private and no NHS patients l was in a great pain and nobody would see me and White Dental Finchamstead called me and saw me within the hour. I can not praise them enough., not only saw me they even sent me to have a full mouth X ray to try and plan a course of treatment and gave me antibiotics as l had infection in three of my teeth’s My deepest gratitude to white Dental and l would recommend them anytime a big Thank you
