Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this dentist enough, they are the best dentist I have ever been to, shilpa the lady I see is so lovely and kind she goes above and beyond to make u feel comfortable especially if u are scared of the dentist like me ,they are very punctual and they never keep you waiting for your appointment , I wouldn’t use any one else now

Fantastic experience: I had a crown carried out by Sarah Ahmed.. I was worried about having it done as the tooth has caused me lots of problems and there was talk of removing the tooth. Sarah was very professional, she took her time, no pain and the crown so far has been a success.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extracted excellent treatment dentist was very good I didn't want to have anaesthetic just an injection went very well didn't hurt and is healing well.

Fantastic experience: We (me and my two kids) recently moved here after an awful experience else where. We were given an appt with Shilpa, My son who is autistic and non verbal was treated with the utmost respect and kindness and Shilpa even made him a little balloon with a glove to make him more comfortable and it worked, he was referred to community dentist Infront of me which I thought amazing. My daughter who is very nervous, again was treated with respect and was talked through every step of the appt and walked away with so much knowledge. I'm very happy with how I was treated also, plans were made for each of us, x-rays done and booked in for more. Honestly I cannot recommend Terrace dental enough. Best experience we as a family have ever had in a dental setting. They even make appts works around my kids and their needs. Honestly blown away. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I'd been having problems with one of my teeth and my dentist insisted that there was nothing wrong. My friend had registered with the Terrace Dental practice and said I should try them. After having a very thorough dental checkup they found that my tooth was split and needed extraction. They managed to give me an appointment for a couple of days later and took the offending tooth out. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Very happy to recommend.

I’ve always felt a bit insecure about my smile, but they made me feel completely at ease and never judged me for it. Instead, they gave me a brand new smile with dentures, and the whole process was surprisingly quick and easy. I felt listened to and genuinely cared for, which made such a difference. It’s not often you come across a place that combines skill and kindness so well. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone — especially if you’re nervous or worried about your teeth. They truly changed how I feel about going to the dentist!

Negative experience: Awful, had a crown glued yon wrong, went back and had it done again, then the next day of fell out, had to go back again and then it was done properly but I got charged again

Positive experience: My dentist was excellent but was actually a locum coming from his Canterbury practice as their implant specialist. As an NHS provider it is a good practice but if you do as I did and pay privately for an implant then go to the clinic at Bluebell hill as there is nothing private about the experience at this practice. More than happy with the NHS provision but it’s not private. I can recommend the dentist who is based in Canterbury and so if you live near Canterbury he would be a good choice. At Detling the MRI, bone density checks, x-rays, treatment and lab are all on site, as is a permenant hygienist. The environment is private from the minute you pull up in the car park and the service and aftercare are excellent. I choose Canterbury Cosmetics because it was local and I thought the convenience would make it a worthwhile experience but it didn’t. There was also a delay with treatment as the practice had not paid lab bills and my dentist from Canterbury explained he had to sort it out. The good news is my implant is in and I am happy with it but will only use for NHS service from now on. Update….visited yesterday 21st April 2022 for my regular hygienist visit and 5 stars from start to finish and always so polite on reception…..my thanks to all

Fantastic experience: As I’m 73 I have used many NHS dentists over my lifespan however this dentist stand out far above the rest. I was treated with the utmost respect as soon as I went in the door and personally escorted to the dental room exactly on my appointment time. The examination was thorough without being rushed and my treatment explained to me which included rectification of things that would cause later issues that I had not even been aware of. Can’t give a more glowing recommendation than this and I really mean it as it was like I had gone private - but was truly NHS. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: I have had root treatment, crowns, etc by this fantastic dentist, Sarah, and have always been treated with respect and kindness. The dentist always explains the different solutions or alternatives available to me. She always takes my needs and wishes into account, giving a very patient-centred and empathetic approach, always explaining and allowing time for me to feel at ease. The dental assistants and receptionists are all friendly, courteous, helpful and very accommodating. Even the whole surgery and reception area is very welcoming and calm. I would have no hesitation to highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had raging toothache for months and I’m scared of the dentist. I rang on Wednesday and got an appointment for the next day. I hadn’t eaten before I arrived, nerves got the better of me, I felt sick and faint, when telling the dentist this he instantly got me a piece of chocolate and a sugary drink. After feeling better, the dentist asked what my problem was, looked at the tooth, explained he could take it out for me, injected, extracted and on my way all within 30 minutes. All the staff were very helpful. Everyone complains about the NHS and dentists, but this practice is fantastic . Very professional

Negative experience: Do not go to this dental surgery if you want to keep your teeth they are a disgrace I saw a dentist who did not do his job properly all they seem to like to do is pull out your teeth if your on the nhs there to money making I have put a complaint into the nhs unless your a private patient there work is done very poorly

Sara’s assistant today was Tia, I’ve never met this lovely young lady before but every few minutes she would ask me if I was ok- this really really meant a lot to me as I was having a rather big filling and I was rather apprehensive about it.
