Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience this morning. I was seen promptly, the dentist introduced himself and was very personable. I felt at ease talking to him, my examination was thorough and he gave me sound advice about how to continue to look after my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Been with this dentist 6 half years always had an ok experience but didn't like the dentist always made me wait for appointments tooth after tooth fell out ad wait time was months months. Needing alot of work on dentures etc I think if I didn't get messed about all time with waiting wouldn't lost most of my teeth this was first 4 years. But then had a new dentist luke been brilliant sorts everything out strait away lovely staff also.shame luke is leaving Would recommend Prenton dentist now 5 stars

Negative experience: I have been with Prenton Dental for about 10 years with no problems but I have recently had a bad experience. I needed a crown after a filling/tooth repeatedly broke. I had the old filling removed and temporary filling put in while waiting for my new crown. On the day of my appointment the surgery cancelled it. When I tried to rebook, the earliest appointment was the end of January - a total of 10 weeks later - for a temporary filling only meant to last a couple of weeks. It fell out over Christmas and then I struggled to get an emergency appointment, even though I called at 8.40 each morning I was told the emergency appointments had gone and to phone back the next day. When I eventually got an emergency appointment I was charged £26 for an issue they caused - and to make matters worse the filling is not smoothed off on the side an has caused a large painful ulcer on my tongue. I’m still waiting for my appointment at the end of January but feel that this temporary filling is likely to fall out too! I am really unhappy with the service I’ve received.
