Fantastic experience: I was a bit sceptical at first as I had gum disease and bad reseeding gums but Dan methodically discussed with me exactly what he wanted to undertake to fix my problem... He did an excellent job and I am so pleased with the results! I would honestly strongly recommend these guys!

I recently had treatment done by doctor Dimi at gentle dentistry, and just have to say thank you for your attention to details during this process, I have had a front tooth that bothered me for a long time and he has taken care of it greatly, wonderful results… I’m genuinely happy and grateful for it, he took his time to make sure I like it and I could feel his dedication and pursue for perfection! Great planning since the beginning, also have to say thank you to Ella and Maya who were assisting Dimi during this treatment, and were really lovely to me, and Jayne who did a wonderful hygiene session and checked that my cleaning routine at home is as best as it can be, providing me all the information that I needed and ensuring that my cleaning techniques are the best for me! I had a new patient examination with Dimi and was impressed by how thorough and comprehensive the planning was. The environment is great too, with a selection of music and TV channels to watch during treatment. Fantastic experience: I came to see Dan at gentle dentistry after being told my another dentist that I would likely need a root canal or tooth extraction. Dan was able to save my tooth and give me a beautiful crown, his gentle care and reassurance throughout made it a wonderful experience and I recovered with absolutely zero pain. Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Gentle Dentistry for some years now and have always received the best care and reassurance that I'm in good hands. Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Dan and his team for a number of years and have had excellent service throughout. Recently after a routine check up Dan identified a tooth which needed some attention- He presented a number of options and we decided on a new crown. On the day of the treatment Dan combined his dental skills and new technology to produce and fit the new crown in 2 hours- for 1 hour I was enjoying a walk by the sea. The result was fantastic and fitting totally painless. A far cry from the days of impressions, temporary crowns and waiting several weeks for the final product. I am sure a number of dentists use new technology - but when combined with Dan's dental experience and skills the results are outstanding. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Gentle Dentistry for many years and always had the highest opinion of every member of staff. Every one of them is friendly, professional and highly competent in their own area of expertise. My most recent visit, however, surpassed even their own high standards. Some twelve and a half years ago I had an accident badly damaging my jaw and breaking front teeth. Temporary work was carried out with a view to fitting a permanent bridge once all swelling had gone. Two days ago that temporary bridge became loose!! A rapid appointment followed and the bridge cleaned and replaced - still a temporary repair. I can think of no-one with whom I have ever dealt, in whatever field, who would go to so much trouble. Thank you all. If you need a dentist - you need Gentle Dentistry….

Gentle Dentistry gave me an immediate appointment I was treated by Ed who was absolutely amazing professional and made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: I have been privileged enough to have been able to go to Gentle dentistry at various times in my life (would have been consistently throughout my life had a not lived abroad/now in Devon). Dan is the first Dentist I remember, around when I was 7, I was terrified of having injections and tools going in my mouth but Dan would remain calm and patient and ease my stress, even though I was delaying his next appointments. I have not been to a better dentist since. Then last year I had a filling job done at another dentist in Devon, which was filled with a silver filling, now whether there is any truth to it or not, I began feeling anxious and not myself, and began researching about amalgam fillings, and decided that for peace of mind, if nothing else, I would look to get it removed. As Dan is the dentist I trust the most, naturally I got in touch and asked for his advice, as I read that various precautions should be made to prevent unnecessary exposure from the amalgam during its removal. As I feel so safe with Dan, I decided that I wanted to travel to him from Devon for the procedure, as I know he would look after me. I highly recommend Gentle Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: Having tried to somewhat restore my teeth a couple of years ago privately through the NHS I ended up with an infected crown due to incorrect fitment and size and also a handful of leaky fillings due to poor practice. I was reluctant to go through it all again due to the pain I went through with the NHS dentist but had no choice as my crown had to be fixed. I stumbled across Dan and Gentle Dentistry while looking for a dentist that could do the work relatively as pain free as possible and based on reviews and their own claims it seemed like the matched exactly what I was looking for. I started with a full consultation as to what I would need to bring all my teeth up to great condition both hygienically and aesthetically. This involved quite a long plan of hygienist appointments, filling restorations, whitening, wisdom teeth removal, temporary crown to allow healing for the permanent crown, veneers and caps. I decided I wanted to go for the full plan and although came in at quite a cost it was a substantial amount of work. From the moment you walk in the door you have the feeling of welcome, calm and instantly recognise this is not your normal dentist practise. I can wholeheartedly say that Dan and his team wants nothing less than the best for your teeth and will put the best of their knowledge, skill and state of the art technology to ensure so all the while making you feel at ease at every stage of your treatment. Dan literally lives and breathes dentistry and it really shows. I really cannot recommend Gentle Dentistry more highly. The results speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience: Five stars are not enough to recommend Gentle Dentistry in Southbourne, Bournemouth. If anyone is afraid to visit their dentist and use this as a reason not to go – please do give Gentle Dentistry a call - the whole practice live up to their name. Fantastic experience: I became a patient with Gentle Dentistry in September 2023 when my previous dentist retired. I'm definitely a nervous patient and had been wanting for years to replace my aging single front tooth denture with a modern implant. Dan prepared a thorough treatment plan for me and was very patient with any questions I had about implant surgery and other treatments. On the day of the big implant surgery Dan cleared a whole afternoon to focus on me. The surgery environment was very relaxing, even down to music and lighting. Everything is scrupulously clean as well. Dan, assisted by Maya, did an excellent job and I knew I was in good hands throughout. Follow-up has been superb, and Izzy or Katie always ring the next day after any treatment to check all is well. So, if you are a nervous patient, or if you are looking for a dental team you can trust, then I'd strongly recommend the Gentle Dentistry team. It's a ten from me!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dan at Gentle Dentistry for about a year now. The initial assessment was very thorough, and since that I have had three appointments to fix things that were wrong. Dan has by far given me the best dental experience of any dentist. Firstly he explains everything in as much detail as you need, you are never rushed. Secondly he is very careful with pain management, making sure that you never feel discomfort let alone pain. Fantastic experience: I switched from my previous practice to Gentle Dentistry as I needed implants which my previous surgery didn't do. I had two years of treatment involving whitening, crown replacement, bone grafts and finally implants and can't praise Dan and the team highly enough. Fantastic experience: A million out of a Million. Dan is the best dentist ever and the staff are the friendliest there can be. As a child and an adult, like many others I'm sure, visits to the dentist were a necessity but always filled with dread. I've lost count how many dentists I've been to and I can't honesty say I was that impressed with what went on at any of them. My perception of dentistry was that it always hurt during and after and the work had to be re-done again every few years. Having been enlightened by Dan at Gentle Dentistry, I understand now that it doesn't have to hurt and work doesn't need doing every few years if the person doing it takes enough time and does it right first time. I now actually go voluntarily whereas previously I would just hope at annual checkups with multiple ever changing dentists that nothing needed doing. My wife all her life has been traumatised by having to go to the dentist, made worse by a jaw injury in latter years which makes dental work challenging but Dan now even manages her dental care to the point she took out a annual care package. No dentist has ever given her the confidence that Dan has.

He has, very patiently, replaced all of my 40+ year old crowns, bridged over my broken and missing teeth and left me with a fantastic smile, the like of which I haven’t had for 40 years. Since becoming a patient in late 2022, I have found the level of care from all the staff I have come into contact with at Gentle Dentistry to be always excellent. My dentist, Dan, is by far the most skilled dentist I have ever had. As the Gentle Dentistry website informs, the practice uses ‘state of the art technology’. As a patient, I am grateful for Dan’s enthusiasm for, and skill in using, such technology; the rewards to me in respect of comfort, care received, time and convenience are huge. I am so grateful for the kindness and care I receive at Gentle Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Dan has been my dentist since before he set up Gentle Dentistry and has always been terrific at what he does. The entire team are very friendly and professional. I recently had to have a crown tightened that had become loose. Ed saw me very quickly and not only dealt with that but spotted another problem with two adjacent teeth on the other side of my jaw. A few days later he did an amazing job, ably assisted by Libby, painlessly root filling both teeth, restoring them and fitting crowns to give me two sparking brand new teeth. My thanks to you both. The music wasn’t bad either!

Fantastic experience: Terrified of the Dentist, and with sensitive teeth, I opted for these guys after moving to Poole - alongside detailed research. Dan and his staff didn`t disappoint. They have been superb at putting me at ease, whilst gently guiding me through a number of treatments over a number of weeks. The results are fantastic, as are Dan and his Team. After some horrendous experiences over the years elsewhere I can`t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I relocated to Christchurch a couple of years ago.. being a very nervous patient, the last thing I wanted to do was go to the dentist but finally after looking at reviews I booked myself a first check up with Dan at Gentle Dentistry. Over the next couple of weeks things took a turn in that a tooth developed an abscess. I called Gentle Dentistry who put me at ease and even looked at a photo of the tooth before I arrived. My appt day came and as I arrived the nerves built.. but as soon as I got in the door the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. When I got into the room (which was modern, clean and well equipped), Dan took his time to explain the process to me and talk through my history. He understood how nervous I was and took things step by step. The news then came I needed a root canal and various fillings. As I felt so comfortable I went on and got it all sorted with no pressure. Over the coming months I had the treatments which were all to the same excellent standard not rushed and dealt with in a kind professional manner. I then booked both my daughter and mother in who see Dan too, and have had the same excellent treatment. I cannot recommend the team more highly and I would recommend any nervous patients who are sat at home worrying to get booked in and have a chat. I am now lucky that I am a "routine patient" and can go to an appointment without the nervous feeling before I arrive!

Fantastic experience: I have had some rather poor experiences with other local practices of late, but after having undergone several treatments under my new dental plan I can say that I wished I had changed to Gentle Dentistry years ago. Dr Ed GAZDOV and the team have been exceptional in every facet of my care. From the calm and welcoming atmosphere at the surgery to the time and understanding Ed took over my assessment and the excellent work he conducted, I cant recommend them highly enough!

Everyone was very friendly, positive and reassuring. Having undergone a very thorough examination the proposed treatment was clearly explained to me. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dan & his wonderful team enough. I've just completed a year long treatment plan after a sporting accident left me with some major damage. Whilst I'm not someone who's 'afraid' of the dentist particularly I was a bit daunted by the procedures that lay ahead, however due to the absolutely exceptional care, attention & consideration from Dan & the team I oddly looked forward to my visits to catch up with them all, the treatment was just an after thought. Fantastic experience: Just another 5* review. Had the most amazing experience at the Gentle Dentistry and felt like bragging about it. I think we can all agree how important our teeth are and how little some us might know about them. I have had a treatment done at this clinic and it felt like I had a mini work experience at the dentist. I was involved in every step and everything was explained to me prior and during the treatment. From the very welcoming girls Izzy and Katie to the most knowledgable and helpful Eduard, and Hannah. I want to stress how comfortable and guilt free I felt at the clinic the whole time. **spoiler alert*** you even get the choose your own music to help you relax I think we can all agree that we might have let our dental care slip up, and sometimes have experienced a little judgement from the dentist, well not at all at gentle dentistry. I felt genuinely that the most important thing for them was to get my dental health back on track. I hadn't been to the Dentist for quite some time and had been experiencing TMJ problems (jaw pain, headaches and shoulder pain). Fantastic experience: Gentle Dentistry is without doubt the nicest dental surgery I have ever had the pleasure to visit. I had braces fitted under the Six Month Smiles programme approximately 8 years ago and I am still very happy with my results.

Fantastic experience: Me and my mothers last dentist took liberties with procedures and we lost trust in dentistry. We moved to southbourne and mum tried gentle dentistry first. She utterly loved it and encouraged me to go along. Dan is overwhelming positive and happy, which was quite jarring to begin with but I soon found the place to be trustworthy. Ed is quite amazing and is not only really responsive, but very calming when I am concerned. Not to mention the hygienist is straight forward and practical and marvelous at getting the job done. Perhaps the best that gentle dentistry has to offer is the dental nurses, who are always incredibly helpful and lovely, but also witty and amazing at their jobs. Would recomend

Fantastic experience: First time visiting gentle dentistry today and I was very impressed with the treatment I received. As someone who finds dental treatment very anxiety provoking, I found the service to be incredibly reassuring. The dentist (Edward) and assistant (Miya) we’re very kind and gave me distraction and put on my choice of music which helped a lot. Although expensive (private practice), I feel I got what I paid for. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After having my confidence in dentists lowered by a bad experience at another dental practise, I came to Gentle Dentistry a bit apprehensive as to what they could offer. I needed a crown to replace the shoddy work done at a previous dentist. Ed and Yohanna immediately made me feel at ease, explained exactly what they were going to do during the procedure and made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout. There was no pain and Ed explained every step of the procedure as he did it. Again, I would recommend Gentle Dentistry, and felt so good about my visit that even though we live 10 miles myself and my Wife will be travelling this distance to make them our regular Dentists. Overall, very impressive, not the cheapest but take it from me, cheap is not always the best. You pay for what you get. Brilliant Surgery, Excellent team, and Outstanding Service.

Fantastic experience: What a tremendous team! An old crown needed replacing as I'd chipped a bit off the back and food was getting stuck. With previous dentists I've had to go away after one appointment with a temporary crown that invariably got swallowed or mistaken for chicken gristle and then go back a fortnight later for a crown made off-premises to be fitted with the inevitable "adjustment" because the impressions were slightly off. Not at Gentle Dentistry. No impressions required. Just a completely pain free scan of your mouth with Magician Dan's little magic wand once the old crown had been removed - painless - no anaesthesia required, although it was offered, followed by a 45 minute wait whilst the dentist's equivalent of a 3D printer did its work. Fifteen further minutes for it to be fitted and off I went. Less than 2 hours start to finish and almost half off it sat on the beach whilst the crown was made. Dan is staggeringly good at what he does; Gentle by name, Gentle by nature. He and his team of professionals have state of the art equipment, are knowledgeable and skilful. Why go anywhere else?

Fantastic experience: I had a double filling performed by Ed, and the whole customer experience was excellent. Choice of your music to settle the nerves was a nice touch, and despite being in the chair for 90 or so minutes it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as I was expecting Both teeth needed to be drilled out, but no pain at all and both look brilliant with the white filling material. Ed totally put me at ease for the whole time and I am really happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: After many years of neglecting my oral health and poor NHS dentistry I found I was becoming embarrassed about my appearance so I decided to find a dentist. I found one that I thought stood out above all the others (GENTLE) so I contacted them, I was received with a friendly and professional welcome, so I made an appointment for a consultation. On my first consultation I was welcomed with the same friendly professionalism I had on my first contact, this was the first time I was going to meet my dentist Edward. Edward made me feel at ease immediately, so did the whole team. Edward talked me through the plan in fine detail and I knew I had made a good choice. During my treatment I was given great care and the team made sure of my comfort at all times. They have given me my smile back, correction a great smile. Fantastic experience: Ive had major problems with my teeth in the past, from having front teeth knocked out as a teenager, poorly fitting crowns causing gum problems, some poor root canal work in the past, compounded by an intolerance to some anaesthetics like lidocaine, plus a scuba diving hobby that doesn't tolerate imperfect fillings. I hated my teeth, and also going to the dentist, but Dan, Claudia and their team are so gentle and professional, and the environment so lovely, that it's not too bad, and the results have been astonishingly good, my smile has been transformed. I very much doubt there is a team anywhere that is better.

Fantastic experience: Dan and his team have undertaken a number of restorations to correct previous dentistry, and I have been really impressed; his explanation, care and calming approach makes the experience pleasurable - particularly given there has been no discomfort during or afterwards. His knowledge and attention to detail is outstanding and the environment they have created is exceptional. Highly recommended.

The whole team are absolutely lovely, it feels like one big family and they’re eager for you to join. Fantastic experience: I have had successful treatment today as Dan refashioned an old front tooth filling I have had done several times by other dentists in the past. The job he did was perfect. I cannot fault the result and it is the best it has ever looked. He said he was aiming for perfection and he achieved it. I am thrilled with it and will be smiling much more I am sure. And it was all done completely painlessly. The man is a genius.

Fantastic experience: My son is 7 and, after a series of unfortunate teeth problems, has started to develop a serious phobia of anything dental. I was starting to think after several failures at other places that we would have to put him to sleep for something as benign as extracting a tooth... The whole team at Gentle Dentistry did a fantastic work. Thanks to Ed, Claudia, and Izzy, after 35 minutes of unwavering patience, goodwill and continuous efforts, the child finally accepted to relax and was safely numbed and masterfully treated. Fantastic experience: We arrived at Gentle Dentistry and were instantly welcomed and made to feel at ease. We came with our 7 year old son who had had two previous bad experiences at another practice so my poor son was absolutely terrified. Izzy (practice manager) at the front desk was so cheerful and ever so kind to us especially with my son that he agreed to go into the surgery. Dr Ed Gazdov was incredibly patient and skillful with a 7 year old who was refusing to open his mouth! We, as parents, were getting anxious that we were talking up their time but at no point were we made to feel that way and in fact Claudia and Izzy (who came in to help as well) were so reassuring and supportive, between the three of them and a long hour later my son opened his mouth. Dr Gazdov successfully completed the treatment and my son has said that he will only go to Dr Ed, Claudia and Izzy from now onwards. We will not be going to any other dentists from now onwards. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. Thank you ever so much!!

Fantastic experience: Gentle Dentistry is certainly the most pleasant tooth-based building I could imagine! The waiting room doesn’t feel like a waiting room (more like a small hotel foyer); it is roomy and has comfortable sofas and nice big windows. It doesn’t feel medical, or have the slightly uneasy, shabby feeling of many waiting rooms. You don’t have to sit staring at motivational tooth cleaning posters! The toilet is delightful. I’m not sure I’ve ever met a delightful dentist toilet before . When you arrive for an appointment, you are always expected and recognised (at least, after the first time!). The rooms have an armchair where you can sit down and chat about your treatment. When in the actual dentists chair, there is mood lighting on the ceiling and a TV directly over you on the ceiling, that you can watch as a distraction. I usually have a bit of a snooze, but often countdown is on, which works quite well with the sound off! You will probably be asked what music you’d like to listen to, which is great. If you are awkward about this, like me, you can always ask to listen to whatever your dentist would like to listen to :) I have seen both Dan and Ed, the dentists, as well as Bronya, the hygienist. They are all very friendly, and relaxing people to be around. I have had two fillings (my first) done by Ed, in one appointment, and I could not tell you which teeth they were in, as I cannot see or feel them. He was extremely thorough in making sure my teeth, and bite, felt right at the end of the fillings (even though I was too awkward to say, “no, it still feels weird” - he kept going until it was perfect). The whole process was surprisingly fast, and, of course, painless. I have had two wisdom teeth removed by Dan, in one appointment, which was a remarkably pleasant experience, and over extremely quickly. Not the ordeal I was expecting! My first visit to a hygienist was also here, and this was the most gentle de-scaling I’ve ever had. More like a gum massage! I actually look forward to it. Embarrassingly, I do not remember the names of the nurses I have met (sorry), but they are also fantastic and calming. You don’t need to be “afraid of dentists” to come here, or even pretty awkward, like me, it’s just really nice in general. Sadly, they are only dentists to humans , otherwise I’d be booking all my ferrets in to have their impressive collection of teeth cleaned. I’m sure everyone at Gentle Dentistry is glad to have weaseled out of that one!

Fantastic experience: I have always been very nervous visiting the dentist, and have been quite anxious every time, even a check up. Thought I would try Gentle Dentistry and would give them ten stars if I could. All the staff there are so welcoming and when I had to have a long appointment with Dan to redo my front teeth recently, him and Claudia were so reassuring, kind, patient with me and very gentle. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I first encountered Gentle Dentistry in September 2016, after horrific experiences with a local NHS practice and in Singapore. I grew up in a part of Africa where dentistry was appalling and have always hated and resented the cost of it. As a consequence, I have avoided the dentist except where absolutely necessary. My initial treatment, while quite expensive, was outstanding. The team were lovely from the start: consummately professional, friendly and caring. The surgeries and Reception were welcoming and professionally kitted out. For a variety of reasons (my life is a constant roller coaster of rags to riches to rags), I was not able to complete the initial dental plan in 2018. After a trip to New York early in 2020, I had a problem with a 'temporary' bridge that had been in my mouth over 3 ½ years (it was that well made at the outset). I went to see Dan Cattell just before the initial lockdown in March 2020. As always, he was charming, efficient and professional. Through 2020 & 2021 I was beset by problems largely resultant from covid and its after effects on my small consulting business and going to the dentist was the last thing on my mind. Just before Christmas the long lasting 'temporary' bridge finally broke. After a few very unsatisfactory calls to dentists claiming to accept NHS patients, I knew I had to go back to people that I liked and trusted. I called Gentle Dentistry. Katie was amazing; she found all my original records (pre-digitalisation), spent a long while reading through my history and called me to arrange an appointment with Dan for the second day after the practice re-opened from its Christmas break. Somewhat apprehensively (finances remain an issue), I arrived for my appointment yesterday afternoon (5 January 2022). Little did I know that Dan did not usually work on Wednesday afternoons, so he was doing me a very special favour. The practice and surgeries have had a make-over since I was last there. It was always an attractive and welcoming venue, but now its 'karma' and ambience is mind-blowing. Everything about it exudes professionalism and state of the art dental technology. It is no wonder the practice receives such outstanding reviews. Dan and I had a brief chat. As always he was caring and understanding. He then offered me an amazing 'deal' not only to replace the temporary bridge but also to do a quick fix on a crown that broke earlier in 2021. 90 or so minutes later, I left the surgery, smiling yet again. It was an amazing and wonderful experience being treated so gently and calmly in what was a very lengthy session for both Dan and his delightful nurse, Aya. Once out in Reception, it was great to see the lovely Izzy, who I have known since I first went to Gentle Dentistry. Such a really great person who has climbed through the ranks of the practice. It is a great pleasure to write this (lengthy) review. These folk all really deserve the accolades they receive!

Fantastic experience: When we retired to Dorset 12 years ago, despite a 250 mile round trip, as we were very happy with the care provided and were reluctant to change we continued to regularly drive to Hertfordshire to see the the dentist who had treated us for many years. Prior to a scheduled check up we were told that he had decided to move to Cornwall and rather than see another dentist in the same practice, we took the opportunity to move to another closer to home. We talked to many friends and several of them recommended the various practices they used. A respected retired dentist friend told us about Gentle Dentistry saying that in his opinion that we would not find better outside of Harley Street. We immediately made appointments for initial inspections which lead to comprehensive and understandable treatment plans. From our first contact Dan and all the team at Gentle Dentistry have given us highly personal and caring attention, using state of the art equipment with skill and technical knowledge to match they have more than confirmed our friend’s recommendation. Dan’s response when a crown came off on Boxing Day was totally unexpected. As they were closed for the holiday I sent an email not expecting a response until the New Year. Dan phoned on the 28th December and asked if I could get to the surgery. Two hours after arriving, following extensive repair work to the remaining tooth, I left with a perfect new crown which had been manufactured on site. Their passion for what they do is remarkable and we are delighted to now benefit from it.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dan first, but before that I was met in reception where the receptionist was kind and most of all friendly to me. The atmosphere was one of relaxed perfection. I was met by Dan who understood totally my fear of dentistry. We had a relaxing chat first. Then he asked me what music I liked, there was a tv screen as well. As I sat in the chair, he assured me and promised me he would not hurt me and he did not. We had x rays and CT done of teeth and gums. He explained what he could do. He made me feel safe! Made me feel trust. Which instantly lifted some of my fear. Then he made an appointment for the hygienist. I was very scared about that. I need not have been. I can honestly say it was an amazing experience. The first time in my 71 years I had a pain free experience. The girls were amazing, kind and reassuring all the time. No longer afraid of the hygienist!! Amazing!! I go back on Monday to have my review for treatment. So far it’s been brilliant. For those with a real fear, this is the place to come. Jennifer Carter

Fantastic experience: Having had two teeth removed by an NHS dentist, I was left needing a private practice to have some implants and new crowns fitted. I started my search looking at reviews of local dentists, and quickly focused in on Gentle Dentistry when reading the consistently high quality reviews. From the first meeting with Dan and his team I immediately felt at ease and thought this would be the dental practice for me. This feeling was confirmed when I returned two weeks later to be presented with a very detailed and professional report that Dan spent considerable time talking me through and explaining the fully costed recommendations in detail and answering all of my questions. Over the course of my treatment I have been impressed with the whole team who are professional, friendly and welcoming at every visit. Each time the procedure has been explained in detail, and carried out to the highest possible standards, in a very relaxed and calm environment. The high tech equipment that Dan has installed at the practice is truly amazing, and compliments his skill as the best dental surgeon that you could wish for. Overall I am very pleased that I chose Gentle Dentistry, the results have been amazing and I would highly recommend to anyone….. don’t waste your time looking elsewhere, this place simply can not be bettered.

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave the service and experience you receive at 'Gentle' is exceptional. The treatment and clinical managers are so warm and welcoming, they make arranging your treatment plan so easy and they always make the time to call you back to check that your treatment has gone to plan. I had two visits with the dental therapy team. They could not have been more professional in they way they carefully cleaned my teeth. These are the only times I've experienced painless visits to a dental hygienist. My dentist, Ed, and all the dental nurses are exceptional. I had significant dental repairs conducted by the team. The work was completed to the highest standards. I've gone from having a mouth full of problems to a set of teeth I'm delighted with. The whole team is delightful, they really care about the quality of the service they provide and they take care of you for every moment you're with them; it's no surprise it's called the 'Gentle Dentistry'.

Fantastic experience: I have recently completed a course of treatment at Gentle Dentistry. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The hygienist was experienced and very knowledgeable, gave excellent advice and for the first time ever the scale and polish was pain free. I saw the wonderful Dr Ed Gazdov, was given a thorough examination and a treatment plan that could proceed at a pace of my choosing. I had several procedures all carried out expertly, without pain and in a relaxed atmosphere. The dental nurses were very kind and attentive, constantly checking that I was comfortable and pain free. I am delighted with the outcome of the treatment I received and cannot recommend this practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Having just had ,over the course of 6 months, all of my teeth repaired and fitted with new veneers, I can honestly say Im outstanaded with the work done. Dan is so caring, competent , thoroughly professional and has a passion to please. The whole team, particularly Mia ,his nurse, are a credit to his practice. As you can see from the pictures I was missing a tooth but after my treatment you wouldn’t even know that there was a gap present. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Gentle Dentistry for over 7 years and both my husband and I would highly recommend this dental practice which really does live up to its name. The team do everything they can to make appointments relaxed, informed and a really positive experience. When I moved here from London I thought I would never replace the quality of service that I had experienced at my former dentist, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The team are professional, caring and reassuring in all that they do for you. With up to date techniques and technology, Drs Dobson and Cattell are always careful to explain any procedures before and during treatment, which for me is a calming reassurance. I had always been a very nervous patient at the Dentist, but not any more. Now, in conjunction with appointments with the excellent practice hygenists, we both have much better dental hygiene routines and our oral health has improved dramatically - plus we look forward to our appointments as there is nothing to fear at all.

Fantastic experience: I was being treated at a local NHS dentist who told me I needed a tooth removed but they couldn't do it as it was a complex procedure. So I began to search for a private dentist and came across Gentle Dentistry. I booked an appointment and was seen by Dan. The difference to any of my previous dentists is night and day, they talk you through and explain everything and are very reassuring. I had my tooth removed today and didn't feel any thing. If you're anxious about going to the dentist this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Having moved to the UK from Australia it was a daunting task choosing a new dentist (especially after some negative experiences in the past) but I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff at Gentle Dentistry were super friendly and welcoming and their facilities are amazing! Dan was my dentist and it was clear that he loves his job. He made me feel like I was in very safe and confidant hands. They use all of the latest and greatest technology and had my tooth fixed within 30 minutes. Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Dan and the amazing team at Gentle Dentistry for restoring my smile. My front tooth was left chipped after an unfortunate bump from an excited dog. After Dan worked his magic you would never know anything had happened, he matched my tooth flawlessly and I feel confident to smile again.
