Positive experience: Edited review After visiting the practice and seeing the boarded up door. I've been made aware that they had a serious fire on the premises, and the client data was not able to be rescued, so they were unable to contact me. I've now spoken to them and re booked at another location that they're temporarily working from in Waterlooville. Will update accordingly

Fantastic experience: Thr dentristy was good. A completely painless extraction. Pity that when I arrived at 1.45pm for a 2pm appointment, I discovered the front door was locked. This was more difficult for me because my severe osteoarthritis makes standing difficult. There were staff in the office at the time. Alsn English.

Fantastic experience: Lavant Dental is the only dentist I will go to. All the staff are so friendly from the moment you go in. I went yesterday for an extraction and Murray and his nurse Leonie are the best! Murray takes time to reassure and explains absolutely everything he is going to do so no surprises. Leonie bless her is so efficient and professional working in the background. Never forget the importance of a brilliant nurse. They both work brilliantly together and provide the best experience. It was a wisdom tooth being extracted so not the easiest but was taken out without problem and very efficiently. I can't praise Murray, Leonie and all the staff enough.

I had a very gentle check up and he discussed all the procedures and checked I was OK. So lucky to have found him, and the rest of the staff were excellent too. Reasonable costs and a very good range of services offered.

When a small emergency happened - I had a cracked tooth, they made a late afternoon appointment for me, so I didn't have a painful night, which was much appreciated. Highly recomended.

Fantastic experience: I have been scared of the dentist for over 45 years ever since the school dentist but Mr Glover has been amazing at every visit I have had with him explaining what he would be doing etc and that was just check ups this week I needed a filling was so scared but he was so patient with me not going to lie I still hated every minute of but both Mr Glover and his nurse was great my fear of the dentist will never go away but you all have helped me get to where I am now thank you everyone for all you support in getting me to this point

Fantastic experience: Had booked in for an extraction as the decay in the tooth was in a place unable to be reached for a filling. Paul suggested, after an x-ray, to try and save the tooth by putting fluoride in the gap. So happy to have saved the tooth

Fantastic experience: First dental experience with Paul Glover (apart from the standard check-up) was a wisdom tooth extraction! - well this was recommended, but on a second consult it was agreed to try a less dramatic approach so we opted to try just a drill and fill first. Appointment went well, wisdom tooth nerve was unintentionally exposed. After filling, there was an initial 24 hours of serious pain as expected but with a mix of Ibuprofen/Paracetamol it took the edge off, and eventually the pain subsided. Very happy with the painfree injections - Paul is super careful not to hurt those of us unfortunate enough to have very sensitive teeth and keeps you well informed about every everything he is doing or going to do, so no surprises.

Fantastic experience: All staff very welcoming, stairs up to surgery with a stair lift for those less able to climb them. My dentist Marta was brilliant, she took time to explain everything and was very friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lavant Dental.

Fantastic experience: Claire was delightful and pleasant as usual. Please think about getting air conditioning in all rooms though. It was pretty uncomfortable and I wasn’t the one having to wear a mask and safety glasses in it all day.

Fantastic experience: I had a very discoloured front tooth from an old filling which had blackened. That has all been removed and replaced so the tooth is repaired and matches the colour of its neighbours. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service - if you're an anxious patient at the dentist, I highly recommend this practice. Whilst having injections of local anaesthetic for a filling I was very nervous and shaky but was made to feel comfortable and safe and hardly felt anything! If you can afford a private dentist - you should choose this one!

Her technique is neat and accurate, (helped by no longer having to wear perspex mask, etc.) so there is very little discomfort for the patient afterwards. She has a positive manner and explains things clearly. She will be missed :-/

Fantastic experience: This has been my 2nd time visiting the practice after being with a previous practice for many years. Lavant offer a range of services at an affordable cost but also do not push treatments if they are not necessary. Since my last visit I think they are beginning to make improvements to the decor etc of the practice and I look forward to seeing these next time.
