Fantastic experience: After a very difficult root canal and extraction, Sarah was amazing throughout, making sure I didn’t have any pain and explaining everything really clearly. She followed up with a review and discussed bridge/implant options without pushing me to make any decisions. I would highly recommend Sarah and the team for anyone who is nervous or anxious about dentists, she’s amazing. I know private dentistry is expensive but finding an NHS dentist was impossible and I feel like the peace of mind is worth the extra cost.

As I'm leaving for France on Monday morning, an urgent repair was required. After much research and many telephone calls, I was able to secure an emergency appointment. From dealing with the efficient receptionist to having been treated by Dr. Sarah Hyter and her most competent assistant, my experience has been first class. I was dealt with in a courteous and efficient manner, with every aspect of the repair procedure being explained. Fantastic experience: After being a patient of Sanjay's for well over 20 years I thought that maybe it's time I submitted a review, but really the length of time as a patient says it all. Reception staff are friendly and welcoming, the dental nursing staff always go out of their way to put you at your ease and as for Sanjay, so professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. He always explains any possible treatments clearly. Cannot recommend this practice highly enough and could not imagine going anywhere else.

Negative experience: Issues with wisdom teeth. Attended highlands due to bupa referral. Dentist here advised it was the tooth next to a wisdom tooth that was the issued and advised that I should leave the wisdom teeth in place and remove this tooth instead. I got a further two opinions and ultimately it was wisdom teeth that were the issue. They have since been removed and everything is fine including this other tooth! Grateful I didn’t listen to this dentist. I wouldn’t return.

Fantastic experience: Although I have a regular and very nice NHS Dentist, I needed some emergency work done and wanted to have it done under sedation which my guy doesn't offer. I Googled Dentists in Essex and found Highland in 2 locations, the reviews were very positive. I plumped for the Leigh practice and got in touch. The reception ladies were very friendly and helpful and got me a consultation with Philip Hayter very quickly as I was in considerable distress and pain. Philip walked me through my options and made me feel comfortable and confident with my choice of treatment, at no point did I feel rushed. I explained I was a nervous patient and we agreed that I would benefit from sedation rather than trying the injection route and it being too traumatic for me. An appointment was made for the extraction for later in the week. When I went for the second appointment, there was a small group with Philip, all very professional but relaxed and they all helped to make me feel I was in very safe hands indeed. The extraction went well and afterwards there was very little pain from the site where the tooth had been. I was impressed with Philip, his assistant, and all of the staff I came in to contact with on my 2 visits. Yes, it is very expensive to go to a clinic like this one, but I wouldn't change a thing, it was absolutely worth it.

Fantastic experience: I was refered to Sanjay some years ago following a failed extraction by a locum at a previous dental surgery following the death of my usual dentist. Sanjay sorted the problem and also fitted some implants. I find all the staff at Highland View to be kind caring and very helpful. I have regular appointments with both Sanjay and Sarah the hygienist. I recommended Highland View to my son and I would not hesitate to recommend Highland View to any other of my friends and family

Last week I was slightly nervous to get my composite bonding, after wanting to get it for a while, was really worried it would be too obvious. Fantastic experience: After 60years of having such a Phobia of Dentists, especially the dentist chair and the dentist looming over me. The last time l went was at the age of 9 years old. I was forced through pain and a bad and wobbly tooth to find one. I was recommended to go to Highland View dentist practice by a patient who could not recommend them enough to me. I was terrified and ashamed. But truly they were so kind, so helpful and so professional towards my needs and really understood my phobia. I was seen next day and during the initial consultation offered the opportunity to have the tooth taken out there and then using sedation. Fantastic experience: My wife attended Highland View Dental Surgery having been referred there by her usual dentist for treatment for Periodontal Disease where she was attended by Dr Sarah Hayter (assisted by Stacey). Throughout the entire successful course of the treatment my wife was shown nothing but kindness and consideration and her initial anxieties about the treatment (which included root planning) were soon dispelled. Should I ever need such treatment this is definitely where I would try to go. My wife has now been discharged back to her usual dentist for her normal dental maintenance and with advice on how to keep her now ‘healthy mouth’. She is very happy with the treatment and care received and we both highly recommend you to consider this practice should you need any specialist or even just normal dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: Cannot give enough praise to Philip Hayter at Highlandview Dental Surgery, and his dental nurse, Gaby. The treatment I received was amazing. Everything was explained in detail making it easy for me to choose my treatment. This was carried out quickly and efficiently. It was an intricate procedure to extract an infected 'S' shaped root, and it all went very smoothly. The surgery was immaculate, as was the high tech equipment used. Would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of visiting the dentist. I have had some bad experiences in the past. Mr Hayter and his team make, what for me is a very challenging experience, almost pleasant. They are so kind and considerate and patient. For me, they are about as good as it can get, particularly Mr Hayter’s understanding. The treatment I have received from them has been excellent too. This has involved fillings and a dental implant.

Fantastic experience: I dread the dentist and the experience at this establishment has made it quite the opposite. I have had two situations that have needed attention with short notice; a filling and a tooth extraction. The beyond polite and helpful secretary staff there accommodated myself and I was seen to ASAP. Both experiences were handled exceptionally, the situation was explained thoroughly, I was treated incredibly and I am positive that they will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: All staff at Highland View are fantastic. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, the nurses kind and caring. Sanjay is a brilliant dentist and is wonderful with nervous patients. He explains every step of the procedure and makes you feel at ease. I have had a couple of tricky fillings with Sanjay which he has handled with care and both were pain free experiences. A great clinician clearly, but also kind and considerate, making me feel comfortable to ask questions and take breaks if needed. I have recommended Highland View to my friends and family who have also all had positive experiences here.

Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago I was experiencing such agonising pain that I literally wanted to chop my own head off - it was awful. In less than 24 hours, I was booked in to see expert oral surgeon Philip Hayter. Two of my molars were removed quickly and efficiently with the upmost professionalism and care. Throughout the procedure I was reassured and talked to with kindness. Thank you for relieving me of pain, there is nothing I could be more appreciate for. I'll be back once I'm a little more healed for the possible removal of another problem tooth and implants but, have every confidence in all of the wonderful team at Highlandview. Highly recommend!
