Negative experience: Tried to arrange new patient consultation at cost of £67. They wanted a 60% deposit (£40) Explained I didn’t have that to hand and could I pay £10. Colleague said she would ask but never called back. I’m not paying such a large deposit for a service I’ve not had or experienced yet. Poor experience. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist and all the members of staff put you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. In the past I haven't been a fan of the dentist and my first appointment told the team everything. I've been their for around 3 years now and my teeth have improved vastly. The team have supported me every step of the way

Fantastic experience: First class care from Neehal and the team. Neehal provided a bespoke occusal splint for grinding teeth at night that has instantly provided a better quality of sleep and relieved me of long-standing TMJ pain.

Negative experience: Parkfield used to be a brilliant practice but after being a patient for over 15 years I recently decided to leave. It is now difficult to get an appointment and or see the same dentist. The practice only sees patients on a private basis but out of hours they refer you to NHS services. It’s a shame the way the practice has changed under the new ownership.

Fantastic experience: The front-of-house team at this dental practice are wonderfully welcoming. Like many, I have a mild dental phobia (or what’s commonly referred to as being a nervous patient), but the front-of-house team always put me at ease with their warmth and friendliness. They never seem to forget a name or a face, which adds a personal touch that makes each visit feel more comfortable. Dr. Neehal and Dr. Arfeen are exceptional. Their bedside manner is fantastic, and they show genuine care and interest—not just in your teeth, but in you as a person. They always provide top-notch advice and explain everything clearly, so you understand exactly what needs to be done and why. Even though I moved from Didsbury years ago, I still make the one-hour round trip for my hygiene appointments and check-ups. My teeth are in the best condition they’ve ever been, thanks to the excellent care and guidance of this team. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dental needs. Huge thanks to everyone at the practice for all that you do!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the practice for over 40 years and found them to be very good and understanding as I am a nervous patient. The dentist Mr Shah explains everything very clearly and is very thorough. Gill the hygienist is also excellent and I cannot fault the service she and advice she gives me. Fantastic experience: I had spark clear aligners to correct my wonky teeth, completing my treatment in Sep 24 (took about 2 years, but could have been faster if I'd been more disciplined). I'm ecstatic with the results! Dr Aslam and his team were fantastic, extremely friendly and professional, making me feel at ease. I knew right from the beginning that I was in good hands. I was pretty amazed by Dr Aslam's skills, he's an orthodontist, engineer, an artist...there's no end to his talents! Fantastic experience: I had a filling today by Dr Shah. Staff at Parkfield are always welcoming and professional and the quality of the work excellent. I trust that they will always do a good job. The only downside is that as a private dental practice it’s costly - but they do offer dental plans to help spread the cost. As I want to keep my teeth it’s a price that I am prepared to pay! I do recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I find the practice staff extremely helpful- they take time to explain things to you. The staff are always extremely well presented and are pleasant to speak to and smile which goes a long way. I personally see Dr Aslam who is professional caring and a fabulous dentist in my opinion. The practice is always spotlessly clean and has a calm atmosphere ( even during refurbishment) I would feel confident in recommending this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Just completed a series of visits for treatment today. The service and attention to detail was so professional throughout. It was good to have clear explanation of my procedures throughout. And a very smart welcoming place to boot!

Fantastic experience: It's never too late to start enjoying going to the dentist. I'm 85 and my experience had previously been dominated by first memories of going to the pre-NHS school dentist - that huge, noisy drill and the harsh, peremptory instructions given. But now, having recently completed my first course of treatment at the Parkfield Practice, I know that things can be different. From initial examination, through some extractions and then fitting of a partial denture, l have experienced every possible courtesy and care. The information given has been full and helpful and the treatment considerate and effective. Above all, every member of the team has treated me with kindness. Additional post:- “At home in my teeth.” That was the ideal for my first denture. Sadly, it was not to be realised immediately. At first I chose an acrylic part-denture, very modestly priced. After a few days it felt snug and comfortable but had an annoying propensity to pop out when I was eating. I persevered and experimented with adhesive but to no avail. And so I went back to Dr Belattar. She, too, was deeply disappointed but pointed me in the direction of an alternative, suggesting that a cadmium-c denture might solve the problem, since that material would provide greater durability and flexibility. Yes, it would be more expensive but it could accommodate further teeth, if required, at a later date. Also, she personally guaranteed close supervision of the fitting process until the new denture achieved perfection. And so it turned out. From the moment I first tried out the finished version, the new denture has been comfortable and fitted like a glove. From Day One, I completely forgot it was there. And - as a bonus - it was not as expensive as expected. Many thanks to Dr Belattar and the whole team for looking after me so well during the whole process.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Shah today for orthodontic advice as I a m interested in invisalign. He was very clear and helpful. I have been going to Dr Shah for years and very happy with the service he provides.

Fantastic experience: Visited Parkfield Dental Practice on 10 May 2024. Saw Mark the hygienist, who was very friendly and informative about the work he was going to do. Teeth and gums were thoroughly cleaned, he also gave advice on the areas I needed to concentrate on. I then had my 6th monthly checkup with Mariam. Mariam was also very friendly and informative about my dental care. Overall, all the staff I met today were friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I am of an age when my first experience of dentists were with cord powered drills and general anaesthetics. Consequently, I am what is described as "a nervous patient". However, I have found Dr Mariam Belattar at Parkfield Dental Practice to be an excellent dentist. She puts me at ease, and explains well the treatment options. My sessions with her have been remarkably pain free and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Having migrated from another practice, I am amazed at the quality, high-tech equipment available here. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Having been a patient of this practice for over 30 years, I have nothing but praise for the way I’m treated by the receptionists, dental nurses and the dentists themselves. Nothing is too much trouble. They willingly answer any questions and explain carefully the treatment. I feel relaxed and confident at every appointment.

Fantastic experience: The anaesthetic is wearing off and I am delighted to have completed my latest round of dental treatment at Parkfield. When I arrived in Didsbury in the 1980s Ian Smith promised me no pain dentistry and delivered on this pledge handsomely over many years. Now Neehal has taken over the reins and I am delighted at the way that the practice has evolved. New equipment, new fixtures and fittings and the same excellent team. Today's visit a good example of lightning fast x-rays, analysis and completed treatment. Of course, I would prefer that they were an NHS dentist but the economics of that have long made this a very difficult proposition and I read recently that the dental side of the NHS is one of the worst patient experiences. Hopefully an incoming Labour Government will grasp this nettle. Until then I have no hesitation in recommending Parkfield Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I rang for an emergency appointment which I got within a couple of hours. We discussed the problem with my tooth and an extraction was recommended. Everything went well. I had some pain for a few hours after the injection wore off. After that just a bit of soreness. I had specific instructions about what to do if there were any problems. A week later everything is healing well and I am very pleased with the treatment I had.

Fantastic experience: My treatment for Sleep Apnoea with Dr Ingleby has been of the highest level and I recommend her to anyone who has been diagnosed with Sleep Apnoea, or snores heavily. When diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea 10 years ago, I booked appointments with one consultant after another to try to find the right treatment. None made a link to other medical problems or symptoms I mentioned. Only very much later, when I was referred to a cardiologist, was that link made (by cardio). Last year, following 2 heart procedures, I looked for another Sleep Specialist. My first appointment with Dr Ingleby was a revelation. I learned a great deal in a clear and accessible way, including what could be done to support my individual condition. I highly recommend Dr Ingleby to anyone with sleep problems that include snoring.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to Parkfield Dental Practice, she was a bit nervous and had some pain when eating and this practice was recommened. Dr Saimbi and the team were amazing with her. They really put her at ease and explained everything to her. I was very impressed with their approach, punctuality, professionalism and with the skill of the Dentist and his team. Getting her to brush teeth at bedtime was such a struggle before. Tonight she brushed them three times and she is looking forward to her next appointment!

Positive experience: I have only had a first consultation at present so cannot give a full review. However, the practice was very welcoming, dentist friendly and didn’t rush my appointment, explained the process. Emma was friendly and seemed to be very approachable and again didn’t rush the time required and is a point of call for further appts.

Well not just because she is a stunningly beautiful human being in & out (and she truly is), nor her ability to understand every word you say even when your mouth is full of her fingers and equipment but because she is the very best hygienist you'll ever find anywhere. She has an holistic appreciation of the relationship between dental and general health. She is also friendly and offsets any dental apprehension with a fine sense of humour and compassion. Jill Chadwick is a highly skilled and thorough hygienist, who has made a great contribution to my dental health over the years. Her professional standards are high and she communicates and demonstrates effectively to ensure that good dental care at home is achieved. She also laughs at my dentally-themed jokes, and she always appreciates new material.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Parkfield Dental Practice for over 20 years. It’s a fantastic service. Jo and Arfeen have completely sorted out my teeth. Gill has been a brilliant hygienist. They are all so gentle and thorough. The service and care are always outstanding and I completely recommend the practice particularly if, like me, you are not madly enthusiastic about going to the dentist.

Positive experience: My first visit to this place. Everyone is so nice and friendly. It was a shame my appointment was delayed by 10 minutes as I had picked an appointment during my lunch break - but the service and experience I received made up for the delay and has not put me off going back. The treatment itself was comfortable and the Hygienist was very helpful in explaining what was being done and why. So pleased with the results. I went back to the office afterwards and one of my colleagues was really impressed by my cleaner looking teeth that she has booked her and boyfriend in for an appointment!

Fantastic experience: Everyone’s really friendly and helpful. The dentist I see offers good advice and whenever I’ve had problems they have been sorted out. It’s slightly expensive but I trust them.

Fantastic experience: I took my Dad who is 90 with memory issues . Superb care and compassion shown by all team members . Consultation was understood by Dad and he will be having further teatment . He has been with this practice for many many years and still has his own teeth so that speaks volumes ! Thank you all , from George and Janice PS Also for accomodating the appointments in the afternoon , we cant get him ready in time otherwise .

Fantastic experience: Mariam & Katie have been nothing but very friendly and helpful during my teeth whitening process, and the whitening has been very successful. Marc Franks has also been very helpful as a hygienist, advising me on better brushing habits and recommending interdental brushes that have helped keep gum disease away.

The procedures I have required have all been painless, and I no longer have the same anxiety about visiting the dentist that I used to have before I joined Parkfield. Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice since I came to Didsbury as a student. I have tried other dental practices when I moved around the UK and always returned to Parkfield Dental Practice where I can be assured I receive the very best treatment. I am now 58 years old and drive from Wales for my appointments and treatment. During Covid-19 lockdown they repaired my broken tooth when my family in Wales couldn't access any treatment. My sons who are 21 and 23 do the same. We all return to Parkfield regardless of where we live. I think that should give anyone confidence that they are accessing an excellent service with staff who care. I have to also add that the transition from when Dr Smith retired has been very smooth.

Fantastic experience: After an unsuccessful effort with my previous dental practice, parkfield Dental Practice looked after me and made me feel a lot more comfortable and confident about my dental hygiene. Being Autistic and extremely anxious, sensory issues I felt confident and comfortable with talking about my difficulties. So far the two dentists I have seen have been so caring, supportive and passionate. The receptionist Sophie has also been really helpful and supportive. I would give this practice more than five stars if I could ! Fantastic experience: Today I had a filling I was so nervous but Dr Aslam put me at ease and he was so gentle. I can honestly say it was pain free. I would also like to say a special thank you to the lovely nurses.

Fantastic experience: I visited for a Parkfield Dental for a consultation and all the staff members were incredibly friendly. Sophie was very welcoming and Emma was super informative throughout, making me feel very comfortable. Like most, I’m not a huge fan of dentist visits, but I couldn’t recommend Parkfield highly enough.
