Fantastic experience: Referred by my own dentist for an implant. Staff and organisation could not have been better and Alfonso did a brilliant job. Procedures pain free, everything explained as we went along, questions answered calmly and in as much detail as I wanted...and they like jazz! Couldn't ask for better. My own dentist says I now have 'the Rolex of implants'!

Negative experience: Receptionist brusque and had no idea about anything. NHS dentist warm and nice but brusque manner and totally incompetent. Senior dentist helpful, professional and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Queen Square Dental Clinic after having 4 other dentists review my tooth and could not tell me the issue. Frederico has been great, identified the issue with their equipment and I had an appointment quickly to resolve a previously poorly executed root canal at another practice. This has been an ongoing issue for years and it was great to have clarity. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Marco to get a second opinion on my teeth, after I had a terrible experience with my dentist. I was extremely anxious when I arrived WOW! Marco is the best dentist I've ever seen! and the dental nurse he was with was wonderful! They both worked well together as a team, providing outstanding care. Marco was thorough, professional and honest and the dental nurse did her best to make me feel at ease. I would highly recommend this outstanding dental practice to anyone looking for treatment. Fantastic experience: After breaking off half my front tooth at the age of 10 Ash did a fantastic job of fixing it up perfectly. 10 years later we managed to find Ash at queen square dental, after doing such a great job the first time. This time Ash managed to make my tooth look as good as new. I could not tell the difference between my real and fake tooth!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Fred a few months ago for a root canal retreatment. So far, everything has been fine! Fred was extremely professional and despite my general anxiety about dentistry, he made sure I was informed about each step of the process and helped me feel calm. Would 100% recommend! More recently, I've started seeing Monika - she has been fantastic so far. I actually look forward to my future appointments now! Other than that, it's a highly professional and excellent dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Dr Ashish Soneji is fantastic! He’s been my dentist for years. We recently took our 19 month old to her first dentist appointment. Dr Ash was so patient and gentle with her. To our surprise, she did great! He definitely helped make her first experience a positive one and we’re looking forward to future appointments with him.

Fantastic experience: I have to admit I don't look forward to going to the dentist but as this was just to see the hygienist and then a dental check up I was quite brave Turned out to be a lovely visit. The hygienist and dentist and their assistants were wonderful. I felt at ease and almost enjoyed the visit. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful too.

Positive experience: Very professional service. Very competent dentists. A bit more expensive than other places, and they usually forget to send me an invoice even when I request it at reception and they tell me they will. Several times I need to call them to request it again.

Fantastic experience: Suffering from a non-specific but painful tooth/jaw ache I turned to the dental team for help. I was treated seriously and given an emergency appointment. An extremely thorough investigation found the potential culprit. Although difficult, it was treated quickly with meticulous care and professionalism. I have had a considerable amount of dental work with the practice recently, including implants, hygienist and a filling. The whole team, including all the support staff and dental nurses are highly professional and clearly very experienced. They really do provide a 5 star service and experience. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The professionalism, knowledge and integrity of Mark Gillis was first class. The only criticism I have is that the building isn't very accessible to a disabled person. The Dental surgery was on the top floor!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a good experience at Queen Square. My recent appointments with Monica and Zeyad have been really beneficial, their help and guidance has been delivered with real care and attention. Everyone is incredibly friendly at the clinic, and it is always an easy and pleasant experience. In addition to service, a huge benefit for me is the availability of an appointment. My previous dental clinic was incredibly limited in what they can offer, but with Queen Square I am able to book appointments around work easily. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Queen Square dental clinic for over 6 years now! I have tried to go elsewhere more local to me but I had really awful experience I prefer to drive more than one hour and I will never ever go elsewhere again. Alfonso Rao is highly competent, lovely and he remembers everything. The hygienists are all amazing too and they always manage to make my teeth look sparkly and new.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding care and treatment from Alfonso Rao and his team. After initial consultation, assessment, and discussion of treatment options & required results I embarked on a plan involving implant surgery, crowns and veneers. At all times Alfonso and his team have been professional, caring, respectful & friendly. Despite challenges (the result of previous treatment from another provider) Alfonso, Marco and the team ( including nurses, receptionists and laboratory technicians) patiently persisted to achieve a stunning result. Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful dental clinic. I have quite severe anxiety about the dentist but saw that others had recommended this clinic highly, and I read that the staff are trained in how to treat phobic patients. I had 2 fillings and a scale and polish under IV sedation and felt reassured and well looked after at every stage of the process by all members of staff, in particular Dr Ash, Dr Mark, and Martina. They all take the time to explain what will happen and work hard to make the atmosphere as relaxing as possible. I recently went back for a check up and whilst I was still really anxious, Ash was brilliant at making me feel safe at the appointment so at the end I felt like I could come again. If your phobias have stopped you from getting treatment, give this dental clinic a call. Thanks everyone. :)

I had my treatment done by Dr. Frederico Ferreira and he was so great in explaining the treatment to me together with the post operative instructions. He was very calm and professional. Negative experience: Consultation with Massimo who was very informative and knowledgeable. Disappointing that prior to the Consultation I was advised that the cost was £99. Cost for the 15 minutes appointment was then revised to £160 due to an xray being taken.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr Tinashe Nhova fix my chipped front tooth with composite bonding and he did the most incredible job. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results - it looks so natural and perfect you would never know that I had had anything done. He was also very friendly and made the whole thing a great experience. Will only be going to QS Dental Clinic from now on!

Fantastic experience: Follow up to my review below from 2020 - really sorry to be leaving these guys behind moving back to Oz - yes it's quite expensive - but unfort in dentistry you get what you pay for. I've had some serious stuff done (well done Fred) as well as great month by month attention (thanks Ash!), and they now have a rock star hygienist, the very wonderful Martina (Grazie!) - and I love the staff. Super efficient. Well done Alfonso for putting together a wonderful team. If i i could take you all in my luggage to Melbourne i would. Ciao tutte. New to Bristol - and many years down under with outstanding medical care - so pretty nervous about finding similar quality after reading horror stories about UK dentistry. So super relieved to find these guys. Just a very impressive set up - very understanding, great care. Big shout out to Emily the hygienist. - "thorough" does not cover it. Very skilled. But Dr Rao is just a super star - methodical, client focused, great skills, very approachable. Totally over the moon to find a great practice in Bristol. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Very disappointing. Initial tests etc cost £500 resulting in a quote for treatment that really didn’t meet my needs. I’ve wasted a lot of money but better to find out now than later. I’ve now found a really professional practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a double wisdom tooth extraction. As you can imagine I was quite anxious about this but it turned out to be for no reason. I was made to feel extremely comfortable and felt no pain whatsoever throughout, not only this but it was also extremely quick, incredible! I cannot recommend Dr Mark Gillis enough! Fantastic experience: I contacted Queen Square Clinic after my NHS Dentist removed my front tooth ready for an implant and then never called me back to arrange the implant fitting (he said I was ‘high risk' for complications due to a high smile line and diabetes in my family, so I guess he was extremely nervous which didn’t fill me with confidence!). Safe to say that after 4 months of not having a front tooth and many ignored calls, I was at wits end when I called Queen Square for help. Choosing Alfonso and his team was the best decision I ever made. They immediately made me feel at ease and presented me with a plan to getting a tooth again. Over the past 10 months, I have felt cared for at every appointment and at ease with every decision thanks to Alfonso’s professionalism and expertise. I always felt like my options were explained without bias and that I was in full control of my choice of treatment. After being told I was “high risk” by my NHS dentist, I doubted ever having a front tooth again, let alone having an even better smile than before - but here we are! All thanks to Alfonso and his wonderful team. Never thought I would say this about a Dentist, but I will actually miss the team! Grazie!!

Fantastic experience: I've been very happy with the care I've received at Queen Square Dental Clinic. All staff have been friendly & professional in every interaction I've had with them. When seeing the dentist and hygienist, each one makes sure to take the time to answer all of my questions and provide recommendations to keep my teeth healthy.

Positive experience: I feel fortunate that my NHS dentist recommended this dental clinic to do my first implant back in April 2014. Following my initial review with the Queens Square Clinic, I checked out a couple of other implant providers. Whilst they were cheaper for what was a relatively simple implant, none of them gave me the same feeling of professionalism that Dr Alfonso Rao provided together with demonstrable state-of-the-art equipment. I did not regret that decision with the whole process, being delivered efficiently, with no issues and completely pain-free. I am now starting the process for my third and possible fourth implant. As part of this process, I had to have a cracked tooth extracted. Fortunately, the clinic performed the procedure rather than my NHS dentist, since the tooth broke during the extraction and it took many attempts aided by their digital scanner to check that all the pieces had been removed. I would thoroughly recommend the clinic and Dr Alfonso Rao. My only caveat (which caused me to rate the clinic at 4 stars rather than 5 stars) is the cost. However, I can’t see how the level of service could be really be improved – so if you want the best I guess you need to pay.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Queens Square for a number of years amd have received excellent treatment. I can attest to the professionalism and superb service given at all times.

Negative experience: Although it employs quality dentists there is zero attention to caring about clients teeth unless they pay upfront. Even if you have a history of spending large amounts of money on your teeth with them they still treat you like your a stranger. It's a surgery full of greed . Sad to see. I need a root canal which will probably get worse as they won't see me for over 2 weeks even though there was an appointment free today which they refused to let me book as I couldn't pay them till the day of the appointment (less than 24 hours as it was a mect day appointment) . My advice is go to a surgery that cares about your teeth rather than money upfront from existing customers

Fantastic experience: Such a great dentist. Really don't hesitate to book an appointment for whatever work you need to do. I have had an implant and more recently composite bonding and I really couldn't be happier with the results. I feel so confident with my smile now and my dentist (Tinashi) made sure it was exactly what I wanted. He is very talented and the work he does is incredible! Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: I'm so deeply grateful to Mark, who removed the root of my wisdom tooth. I was so nervous about having it removed, because of previous complications... but Mark really put my mind at ease, and the root was removed in under five minutes... I actually couldn't quite believe how quickly he did it. I had no pain at all even after the anaesthetic had worn off. I really can't recommend him highly enough!

Negative experience: Possibly one of the worst experiences I've ever had but only related to the dentist himself. The reception staff and dental nurse were lovely. £156 for an emergency appointment where I sat in the chair for 17 minutes, with poor explanations of what was wrong and what he would do, underprescribed antibiotics presumably in an effort to book in for another appointment at an additional cost. I went to my usual dental practice today and he took my wisdom tooth out for a fraction of the price and with such care, as well as exploring all the reasons why my wisdom tooth was so aggrevated. Value for money at this place is abysmal.

Fantastic experience: I have always been impressed with the level of professionalism provided by the team, led by Dr Alphonso Rao. They take the greatest of care to explain all options and procedures prior to treatment. I can only praise this dental clinic and thank them for their very calm friendly style, which I truly value.

Positive experience: It’s very shocking that no one ever told me in advance if I miss an appointment accidentally, I will lose my full deposit and have to pay £100 for the next appointment ahead. Yet the treatment and reception teams are good once the appointment issue was resolved.

Fantastic experience: I have found Queen Square Dentil Clinic to be outstanding in their approach. From the moment I contacted them I have felt at ease, each staff member I have come into contact with have been warm and welcoming, no question is too silly and all very compassionate when it comes to nerves. Negative experience: For my last two appointments I have booked well in advance with a clear appointment type and price, and then been called on short notice to be told that, because I have not visited frequently enough, I will require a longer and more expensive appointment type. This constant pressure to upsell has forced me to look elsewhere for dental treatment.

Negative experience: They cancelled 3 of my bookings ( one because of covid they say, one because the doctor didn't come at work, one because I was wrongfully booked by the receptionist ) just few hours ( less than 24 h ) before the actual intervention . Have an infection wich was urgent, 2 root canals, 2 implants, strengthen my teeth, whitening, etc etc....lots of money to spend... The receptionist had no clue how to properly deal with bookings. Started 4 months ago and until now they managed to do me 1 teeth...I asked for explanations, because its not that I loose hours of work, time, spend loads of money to this fully private expensive clinic ....but I have an infection for more than 6 months wich nhs couldn't deal... all I got was 30 min with the hygienist as compensation for all this Inconvenience that they caused. I refused to be treated like this, if you miss an appointment they charge you the deposit money....if they miss an appointment...no problem...so I decided not to put my money in their pockets, Bristol is full of dentists.

I'm really pleased with the results and now have the confidence to smile again! Would certainly recommend to others.

Negative experience: The service was good but I was very disappointed to find the price of a check up had increased by £20 in the 6 months since my last visit. This was not communicated to me in advance. It was sprung on me after my appointment, as I was settling my bill. Not impressed as a significant price hike - 44%!

Fantastic experience: The team at Queen Square Dental Clinic are amazing, they are always helpful and friendly. My dentist and hygienist are always informative on the health of my teeth and gums. I would recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I am extremely nervous of going to a dentist due to previous experiences, I explained this at the time of booking my first appointment and I can say that everyone at the practice has been wonderful, very patient with me, everything explained thoroughly, you don’t feel rushed and can ask questions if you’re unsure of anything. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They work with you to find the best option for a treatment plan. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: After paying NHS prices most of my life, going private was a bit of a change, but it's unequivocally worth every penny. - Professional and accommodating team on the front desk. - Reassuring and evidently knowledgable team doing the treatments. - You can watch Mr Bean on the telly while in the chair. Props to Dentist Ash in particular, for the most comfortable and stress-free dentistry i've ever experienced.

Fantastic experience: I broke my front right tooth and needed a crown fitted and I could not be happier with the service that I received here. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly, and as someone who suffers from anxiety they did a great job at making me feel relaxed whilst having what would usually be an uncomfortable procedure. I actually enjoyed going to the dentist! I'm really happy with the results and feel much more confident in myself than before - particular thanks to Richard for his great work making and fitting the crown. If you are looking for this kind of treatment I would not hesitate to recommend Queen Square Dental :)

Fantastic experience: Came here here knowing I had a lot to fix (and to spend ) and with plenty of anxiety around dental treatment. I would do it all again; can not recommend Dr Ashish Soneji enough. He and the rest of the staff have been fantastic. Very happy.

Negative experience: The worst experienced ever!!! Avoid this practice. The equipment does not look professional. Hygienisation is terrible there. During the treatment a piece of my gum was gouged out (see the photo). After the complaint they did not even looked at the wound, did not propose any gels or creams. The manager ignored me completely, she hid, did not even apologised and left all of it to the receptionist. I was hoping for the highest level of treatment for the amount of money that I paid. I though this is not a random clinic but professional practice with a top-notch service. I did not imagine that I will be hurt this badly on a very basic service and that the clinic will be so negligent about it.
