Negative experience: I attended an urgent dental appointment today and was very disappointed with the dentist’s manner. There was no greeting and no effort to ask what my issue was. She carried out an X-ray and brief check, stated everything was fine, and made me feel as though I was wasting her time. When I asked a valid question about my concern, her response felt dismissive and condescending, as if the question itself was unreasonable. As a paying patient, I expect basic courtesy, professionalism, and clear communication. The overall attitude came across as cold and uninterested, which is not acceptable in a healthcare setting. Honestly, get off your high horse and treat others with basic respect.

Negative experience: Horrible service take time with everything wait lasts up to an hour not worth spending money here. Phone call wait lasts up to an hour, and waiting for your apppointment also can go up to an hour. Crap service.

Negative experience: Rubbish place to be honest The phone rings multiple times and the receptionist are just talking to each other. No sense of care.

Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent care and professionalism Dr. Shorifa and Sultana provided outstanding care and support. They were both extremely professional, kind, and attentive, making me feel comfortable and well looked after at all times. Everything was clearly explained, and they showed genuine care and patience. I am very grateful for their dedication and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking excellent medical care.

Negative experience: How on earth are you in the healthcare business? The floors are dirty. The mat looks like a museum piece.it’s completely worn out. The sofas are in such poor condition that I wouldn’t even want stray dogs sitting on them. The heaters are from long before even Mr. Bean was in his prime; they do nothing except wheeze and sigh. They don’t provide any real warmth.., barely even as warm as human breath. The receptionists and patients are left freezing, while the heating upstairs works perfectly fine because, of course, you wouldn’t want to upset your doctors. Fair play. I genuinely wish you were out of business so that someone else could take over., someone who respects patients’ time and money, treats people with basic dignity, and actually knows how to run a healthcare facility. Please don’t ever run a healthcare business like a grocery store. Pathetic behaviour.

Fantastic experience: Zan & Corina are both incredible at what they do. I was actually quite nervous to have root canal treatment but I didn’t need to be at all. Both made me feel very at ease and comfortable, and as for the treatment itself, Zan is the best dentist I’ve ever seen! I felt no pain, it was done efficiently and I’d recommend to anyone - 5*, thank you

Negative experience: bit of a scary place. got referred here by 111 and tried to call to ask a question an hour before my appointment but the robot said they were closed. theres a boxing machine next to the front door so you have to pass by a lot of scary people to get in and then inside the reception is very silent hill-esque. it also doesnt make you feel super safe when the dentist assistant is wearing joggers it kinda gives an air of "we don't care". they also leave the dentist door wide open so what you need to ask about doesn't feel private.

Negative experience: Terrible service! Been on a hold for 40 mins now. Never answer the calls! When I’m at the clinic it seems that all they do is answering calls but then when u actually call, you have to wait 30/40 mins! No follows ups after treatments, dentist always late, no punctuality. Not the best!

Negative experience: Why do you not answer the phone ? Have been out on hold for an hour and then told surgery has closed. This was on Friday at around 10 am. And this is not the first time. It always happens. It’s impossible to reschedule an appointment by calling them. Pathetic service by the receptionists.

Negative experience: they dont pick up the call. I have no idea what they are doing because i can guarantee you they are not that busy where they can’t attend a call. Its absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: Dr Shorifa saw me today She was good in listening, explaining what she thought my tooth problem was and she took some Exrays, then extracted the Offending tooth recommended some Antibiotics, and to get registered with a dentist and recommended a night guard. God blessings Dr Shotifa. I am much much better. My regards

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and dirty place, hygiene should be a priority in this place before opening doors for business. Our dentist has referred our 2 boys for consultation and this place decided on a forward plan of extracting 2-4 teeth from each of our boys. We have requested a second opinion in Poland and been told otherwise. Unfortunately up on telling this to newham family dental the response was ( In this country this is the way we do it). I have to say thank you but no thanks. Clean your place first before doing business please in this country

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Dr. SHORIFA NARGIS. enough! This is easily the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Shorifa is professional, incredibly gentle, and makes you feel completely at ease. They are a genuinely excellent doctor who clearly cares about their patients. Five stars across the board!

Negative experience: Very unorganised, booked me for 10.40 and when arrived I was told the doctor dont start work until 11am. They never answer the call and expect people to call and report changes.

Fantastic experience: We had an emergency appointment at Newham Dental for my 8 year old, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shorifa and the team. She was incredibly warm and professional, putting my very upset child completely at ease and making sure we got the care we needed. The whole staff was friendly and professional from start to finish. We’re so grateful for their warmth and expertise during a stressful moment.

Negative experience: I tired calling the practice today at 4.37pm to make an appointment. I was put on hold the entire time and exactly at 5.00pm the operator said "the surgery is now closed" and the line cut off. This is unacceptable and very poor behaviour from the reception team. The reception teams lack of care make it hard for me to make an appointment to see/speak to my dentist

Negative experience: Horrible service. I have been calling since 4.20pm and waiting on the line for 40 minutes to be then told they are closed at 5pm. This is an absolute joke. Reception staff are horrid.

Negative experience: Calls are never answered,, its like the whole team has collapased..... The desntists are always in a rush to see your back...

Fantastic experience: Very good service by Dr. Shorifa and sujana. I am not only happy but I am number 1 happy. Dr sharifas work is class one. She is first class nice and behaviour is nice. My wife has the same name as her and we are both very happy with sharifa and her work.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Tried to follow up after a consultation for my elderly mother and they don’t answer their phones at all. Tried different times, everyday, for a week to get through. No answer. Tried the email- twice. Gave them a week between emails. No decency to even respond to that either. Avoid this surgery. Took my mum elsewhere in the end as I couldn’t trust that they could communicate and care for her properly. There are far more reliable dental practices out there that actually care about their patients and provide a service.

Fantastic experience: I'd like to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Shorifa and her assistant Sultana for their exceptional care and compassion during my recent emergency dental appointment with my 3-year-old son. They went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and at ease, using a patient and playful approach that really helped to calm his nerves. Their kindness, tenderness, and love were truly remarkable, and I appreciate the extra effort they put into reassuring both my son and me. Given his anxiety about visiting doctors, it's amazing how well he cooperated with them I'm so grateful for their dedication and expertise.I truely wish they where taking more NHS patients!!!

Negative experience: Dentist wrote that I got a filling when I never got it and then fined me at my old address for not paying, I never had a filling just a normal check up. This is fraud.

Saeed Hussain Sandhu I visited Newha family dental care and Shorifa Nargis is dental surgeon. I had severe pain in my left hand last upper molar and I want to take out. Dr Shorifa was aware about my problem but she solved my other teeth problems without saying anything. After a while she said that you are free to go. I asked to Dr that what about my shaking molar and she replied that all done. I didn't realise about anything and she magically fixed my problem. Honestly, She is blessing of GOD for her patients and she treats with patients very nicely. Her hands have magic to heel her patients. Fantastic experience: My daughter had a filling appointment for a few teeth’s and her dentist was Dr Shorifa and nurse Sujana they were very professional and caring people and good hygienist advised was given after the procedure. ☺️

Negative experience: The place stinks of mould and the staff aren't friendly at all. Im surprised it's legal to orperate as its so dirty in there.

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience with Dr Iqra Fahad. She was insulting and doesn’t know how to speak with other people. I had an appointment for my autistic child at 3:15 PM but she didn’t even see my child until 4:00 PM. At 4:00 PM I asked her how long will it take to see my child because my child was very unsettle. Instead of giving me an answer she shouted at me. She screamed and said Why did you come here. Cancel this appointment and change the surgery etc. She didn’t get a proper education otherwise she would know how to respect others. Avoid Dr Iqra Fahad.

Fantastic experience: Written on behalf of my mum. She had a serious toothache resulting in swelling along her jawline and the dentist managed to book an appointment, last minute 2 days later. She was very pleased with the outcome, as she was told there may be complications. However, everything went smoothly and her wisdom tooth was removed without any problems. Fantastic experience: Today's visit to the clinic to see my lovely Shorifa for my appointment- having pain was advised to have tooth extraction. Can't even write this message as in state of shock, as how quick and painless tooth extraction was did not feel a thing. Still waiting for tooth to be extracted but I was told but my sweet lovely shorifa that tooth is out, have a look with mirror it's gone. She is extremely kind gentle sweet, best dentist I've ever experienced in my life for dental treatment. Shorifa is the best. I'm very grateful.

Negative experience: I Wouldn't recommend this place it's dirty and disorganized they can't get anything right very disrespectful and inpatient staff my simple prescription was done wrong and they refused to correct it i have been in pain because of this when i called back i realized i was blocked this Clinic should be looked into by the appropriate authority.

Negative experience: Shofira Nargis the doctor whom you would like to avoid. She is very roughly working with your theeth, managed to broke a£500 cost crown on my tooth ,other tooth touched the nerve , and then on top of all she speak rood to me. Would never go to her or recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: They don't bother or care for their patients. They cancell appointment when they require even with 1 hour notice. They are not reliable at all. Customer service is very poor.

Positive experience: Their reception team are so rude and you can never call them with the listed number because they never pick up but other than that the actual dentist and service is not bad at all

Fantastic experience: I Holly Bennett recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Shorifa and her assistant Deepy at New Ham Family Dental Care, and I can't recommend them enough! My mum Yamilet Bennett has been on the NHS and visited another dentist for over 20 years, but her experience here has been truly exceptional. Since she started going to Dr. Shorifa, all her treatments have been completed quickly and efficiently and there’s not long wait for appointments everything is really quick, which this has made her really happy. The staff are incredibly nice, always making us feel welcome and comfortable. The clinic itself is spotless, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients I truly recommend this one since no dentist cares for their patients like this one.

Fantastic experience: I visited here in an emergency situation last week. The waiting area was a bit hectic when you're in a lot of pain, but the service i got was second to none. The 2 Ladies who actually dealt with me were really kind and easy to talk to. I felt awful, but they reassured me all would be dealt with. And it was. Painlessly and efficiently. I have had no side affects or infections or pain since. So the relief alone has been a god send. Many Thanks Ladies.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by NHS 111 for an emergency appointment and the service I received here was amazing. I was seen straight away and Dr. Shorifa and Deepu actually listened to me. She understand how much pain I was in and gave me the appropriate advice and medication to help with the pain. As I had gone to my own dentist the day before and felt like I had not been heard, it was actually great to feel heard and be provided with proper information and medication for my dental issue. If you do visit here, ask to be seen by Dr. Shorifa as she is a great dental doctor !!

Negative experience: I was ‘referred’ to the hospital in Nov 2019, it’s February 2025 and I’m still waiting to be contacted. I have followed up many times over the years and been told that there’s no record and I’d be referred again. Receptionists are rude, doctors are there to flirt with dental nurses and it’s dirty. I could go on explaining how useless they are but I’ll end with saying, avoid this place for your own safety.

Fantastic experience: I had a pleasure enrolling to newham family dental and with Dr shorifa and deepu. I had a nice clean of my teeth and they showed the correct way of clean my own teeth. I went to many dentists in past when I used to have sensitive problems every body suggested change the past but here Dr shorifa clearly explained why I am getting sensitive teeth and showed me and explained how to clean my gums and teetha and it really helped me. I would recommend Dr.Shorifa from Newham family dental clinic.

Positive experience: One helpful and friendly receptionist . I was very pleased with my treatment until I went to pay. Another Eatern European receptionist had taken over. She was very rude and arrogant. Kept ignoring me and refused to look at me. Spoke to people standing behind me. A real off putting person. Spoiled my visit.

Fantastic experience: I had emergency referral from 111 on 21/01/2025 and had amazing experience I was seen by doctor Shalu and her lovely assistant and what a lovely experience I had , she had a very professional approach and she took her time examined me and help me in my critical situation.

Negative experience: They seem to be running some sort of illegal enterprise here !! I have had my details used illegally in the office by a male when I am female !! And have been sent a fine for treatment I did not receive !!! This is a very serious breach of data protection and identify fraud and they seem to not care or do the standard checks that are legally required and they are happy to administer treatment illegally ! I have contacted them in writing and via the telephone to contact the authorities of this and have heard nothing back would not recommend anyone to go here as they may illegal use your details and cause havoc in your life

Fantastic experience: Had gotten braces treatment recently Doctor name: Dr. Marjan, Therapist Youlanda, and Nurse Lidia I am pretty happy with the results in my teeth, they look perfectly straight now and all over the course of a year. The doctors were nice and the treatment was simple, they also explained the process as they go to make sure i understood what they were doing. Greatly recommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Dr. Marjan Mokhber is exceptional—so skilled and thorough. Therapist Yolanda’s calming presence and nurse Lidia’s friendly professionalism and attention to detail make every visit a pleasure. The whole team is amazing, and I highly recommend them. Getting braces always had me worried but thanks to their service the whole became so much more easier.

Negative experience: I visited this dental practice for an emergency appointment due to a severe bacterial infection. The appointment was booked through the NHS. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. The dentist I saw was dismissive and unhelpful. She quickly told me that no effective treatment could be provided under the NHS and advised me to book a private appointment instead. She offered me two options: 1. Root canal treatment, which she described as a “painful process.” 2. Antibiotics, specifically Metronidazole, which she prescribed. I chose the antibiotics, trusting her recommendation, but they did nothing to resolve the infection. The pain and discomfort persisted, and it became clear that the infection was not being properly treated. Out of desperation, I went to a different private dentist, where I received a proper examination and a root canal treatment. Contrary to what I was told at this practice, the procedure was completely painless and effectively resolved my issue. This experience has left me highly dissatisfied with the service provided here, especially under the NHS. They didn’t take the time to properly examine my condition or offer a genuine solution. It felt like NHS patients were treated with less care or consideration. I would strongly advise against visiting this practice. The lack of professionalism and dismissive attitude toward NHS patients made this a complete waste of time and money. If you need urgent or quality dental care, seek a more reliable and compassionate.

Negative experience: The receptionists are really offensive. I was at the dental clinic because I had an appointment, when I went there I was told it's been cancelled because of the holidays or Christmas wtv, and I was abit frustrated and upset. My English isn't really good so it was hard for me to communicate. Then I hear one of the receptionist telling me about how my type of people come to the UK and get free care and services, that's really offensive and uncomfortable and it's really inappropriate. They said this because I was frustrated about why they given me an appointment if they are going to cancel it. It's a waste of time. I have done nothing wrong. So that person was stereotyping too because I was judged by the colour of my skin and accent. I actually was born in Europe and been here in the UK for 8-9 years now. I was being offended for being frustrated about my appointment they cancelled last minute without any notice. I'm really disgusted considering the fact that even if your here getting free treatments, it's not there problem to be criticising you as they are paid for there work. And you call this the UK

Fantastic experience: New dentist name ARYANA KEISSARIAN. I am very satisfied with her dental treatment from Newham dental care for the first time. This dentist thoroughly checked my children's teeth. I recommend everyone to see this dentist. Every six months I would take my kids to check their teeth. Always get 15 minutes appointment for four of them together. But this time this dentist took 20 minutes for each child. I am so impressed with her attention to detail.

Negative experience: They never answer the phone, they actually watch it ring whilst not picking it up and doing nothing. I’ve waited over half an hour before, had a friend who was near go inside and inform me they purposely do not answer calls. So you can’t call to cancel; can’t call to reschedule, can’t call to make an appointment. It’s so sad to see what the dentist has become it used to be so much better, horrible service.

Negative experience: the child with a delicate state of health does not receive care only by appointment when they are available, if you announce that you will be 10 minutes late, you lose the appointment (I mention that he has many appointments at the hospital and we do not always know when) he does not have priority, he does not receive help at the reception, very arrogant receptionist and always correcting you

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and sympathetic, professional and saw me last minute late Sunday afternoon as an emergency patient. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I contacted NHS 111 and I was refered to this dental practice, today 29.09.24. One of the worst experience I've ever had!, they carried out unhygienic and unprofessional practice. The Dentist Ms Khan used the same gloves to touch the computer/keyboard-using to type then with those same gloves she touched everything with, she touched my mouth and teeth, I was gob smacked, disgusted and so shocked in disbelief and I just couldn't say anything to them directly, she did an x-ray of my teeth and she didn't put on any protective goggles on me! (any dental practice ive been to, whenever they did an x-ray they always put protective goggles on me). The reception staff was the same person who was assisting the dentist practitioner, she used no gloves and touched everything including the tools she passed to the to the dentist which was used in my mouth to check my teeth. I came urgently to extract my wisdom tooth which I was in so much in pain, instead they tried to scare me and say they haven't got all tools to take out my tooth so it's best I go to my own dentist or hospital if the pain gets worse and have antibiotics for my gum infection for a different tooth. I reassured her I don't mind to take my wisdom tooth out as that was the reason why I was here, however she insisted as my teeth are sensitive to wait after first agreeing to remove then she disagrees, it was so confusing, everything was like a rush, come in and come out , just to make money it felt like, I paid £26.80 plus £9.90 for medicine and appointment , money wasted ! I couldn't even get my wisdom tooth removed , what I went in for in the first place! Wasn't done at all!!, waste of journey and time!!, and most of all it's unclean, unhygienic practice!!!!-the practice is not even worth 1 star!!, but I have to give it to post this review!

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely wonderful appointment with Dr. Shorifa and Ilona today. They both carefully examined and performed some filling work and molar sealant for me with a high level of care and kindness. Their professionalism and dedication to personal care was remarkable. The reception staff were also very kind and welcoming. The waiting time was very short. A great dental experience! Thank you.
