Negative experience: I was very disappointed as I was not told how expensive is was going to be and if I had know I wouldn’t have gone ahead with the especially as I was told I could go without it. Also the dentist spent most of the time talking shop with her assistant which was annoying and unprofessional in my opinion. The lady on the desk was very kind dealing with my inability to pay in cash and my paying in several instalments.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sepideh Heydarian is a fantastic and caring dentist. She takes plenty of time to explain the procedure in detail any make me feel comfortable. She is always checking up on me throughout any work to make sure I am doing okay and not in any pain. I always feel relaxed and in extremely capable hands with her. She will often take time to help me understand oral hygiene and what to be doing between appointments and will check up outside appointments.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to The Dentist @ Chiswick for a few years, and have always been very happy with the care I have received from the dentists and hygienists. I had to go urgently this week because of toothache, and was given an appointment within 48 hours of my call, which I really appreciated. I saw a lovely dentist (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name and haven’t seen her before), who listened carefully, gave me a very clear explanation of the possible causes, and then examined and treated me. It was a really positive experience, I left happy and the toothache has gone!

Negative experience: I had a recement for my gold inlay however, it came out in 2hours. I asked for a refund however, they gave me only half refund. Hope this comment helps others.

Fantastic experience: I don't like having to visit the dentist. I am a nervous patient and the anaesthetic always seems to take longer to work on me. However, the dentists and hygienist at The Dentist @ Chiswick are caring and patient. I find the results first class and they make the whole experience almost pleasurable.... almost!!

Positive experience: the experience. with the Dentist including the nurse was excellent my. initial experience being used west end clinics was underwhelming A very muted greeting and and as. new patient no real sense of welcome I feel tis does not represent the practice accurately but could be improved as first impressions count and the initial one this practice made was not favourable

Going forwards Aug 2023 and myself now into my 70's, Ralph continues to provide me with tip top oral health and dentistry - he wins hands down every day!

I have to say a big "thank you" though to Lucy Baxter who is the best hygienist I've ever been to. She just gets on with it patiently and does a fabulous job in making my teeth gleam. She never preaches no matter how bad a job I've made of my own poor efforts at taking care of my teeth. She's fabulous!

Fantastic experience: Following dental surgery in my teens I find visits to the dentist unpleasant (triggering jaw spasms). Ralph is incredibly patient and reassuring, and (I think critically) he very thoroughly details what he’s about to do in each step of the procedure, so no nasty surprises. I would never dream of seeing a different dentist! The whole practice team is fab, and really helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great place to go. BUT there is one problem: They are so nice and professional that you don't want to leave. Perhaps this is a small problem which can be easily overcome?! Came back last week after an absence due to the lock up. Place was very well run. Felt very safe and as always very professional and pleasant. Great people!!! Had an emergency yesterday. Got taken care within an hour. Great and very safe place to go to. Brilliant to have treatment so well explained.

Fantastic experience: Ralph and team are fantastic. I love the way he takes time to explain what’s going on, and unlike many other dentists does not constantly try to upsell. I continued to entrust my dental care to Ralph even when l moved to the US for a four year stint, timing my business trips with dental appointments!

Fantastic experience: My appointment to see the hygienist at The Dentist @ Chiswick was excellent. Pre-notification and reminder was good especially as I had forgotten to upgrade my contact details (though I had remembered the actual appointment). The hygienist could not be better in my view: a triple approach to gum health, cleaning, deplaquing and polishing: almost as good as new! Reception was also very good...which has not always been the case with the new lady in charge being friendly, efficient, helpful and not at all put out by my ineptitude over the aforementioned contact details.

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent long appointment with my dear friend Ralph and my semi-detached long upper bridge is now securely back in place and Ralph checked out the position of my whole mouth with a full mouth xray and some fancy new digital stuff I was sent off v happy and with some antibiotics in case a lower twinging tooth didn't settle down but it looks like it's doing that without the need for the pills So that's great! Lovely staff and superb care!

Fantastic experience: Excellent as always. I had not been to the hygienist for 2 years and was expecting that some of the catch up could be uncomfortable. However Newsha was very careful and managed to get all the plaque off with no discomfort. She was also extremely thorough and pointed out a spot I had been missing in my brushing right at the back of my mouth. Covid measures seem thorough but not obtrusive. Just been for a second post lockdown visit with Merands, the third in the team of hygienists, so I now have a Full House. Excellent as the other two have been. This is clearly a practice with high standards. They have got a new tool replacing the pick that cleans with no pain at all and seems to involve the head vibrating very fast whilst spraying. Covid precautions still thorough but again not obtrusive.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ralph Palmer Gilhooly puts you at ease. He repaired an old filling for me and it was pain-free. He will never recommend a treatment you don't really need. I don't know how he is able to describe so accurately the sensations you are going to feel, before you feel them. I highly recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I very nervous when I first arrived at the dentist due to a traumatic experience 7 yrs ago with another dentist where I lived . I decided to travel to London to see Ralph as many years ago Ralph was my dentist but he moved away to London. The work he performed on my teeth was faultless and still there today . I need not have been worried , as the moment I walked in , Ralph put me at ease. He spent much time explaining everything to me thoroughly and looking at my tooth in depth . There is no question that I would return and travel back to this dental practice .I trusted Ralph with my teeth many years ago before he moved and still completely trust his genuine advice and work. My daughter lives in London and I have also sent her to Ralph . She is so pleased with the work that she cannot tell which tooth is the crown !

Fantastic experience: I'm phobic of the dentist and hadn't been for 12 years so was definitely a more tricky customer. I had to have a root canal and crown but Roni talked me through the whole process and gave me time for my nerves to settle when it looked like I might do a runner. The treatment was fast, efficient and sympathetic. He's an excellent dentist and if you're at all nervous, you won't get better than him - thanks Roni!
