Negative experience: I had an appointment booked for 12:00 and arrived early at 11:55. I sat in the waiting area expecting to be called, but no one came to see me or even acknowledge that I was there. By 12:20, still nothing, no update, no check-in, nothing at all. Absolutely terrible service and a complete lack of professionalism. I would not recommend Moonlight Dental Surgery in Britwell, Slough.

Fantastic experience: I was seen today as an emergency. I have a phobia of dentists but the treatment I received today was excellent. My dentist, Aqeel, was very reassuring and kind. After years of avoiding dentistry I am now booked in to have my painful tooth mended. Thank you so much to Aqeel and the receptionist.

Negative experience: Moonlight owner Jas Gill charged me for treatment that has not been carried out. I paid almost £2000 in October 2023. He has since been giving me excuses as to why he’s hardly ever working there. It came to a point where he only ever worked at moonlight once ever couple of months & even when appointments were made moonlight would cancel giving silly excuses. This so called Dr Jaswinder Gill has now blocked my number so I have no option but to take legal action against him as he’s telling me he’s no longer the owner of the practice & that I should contact the new owners, how does this even make any sense. This guy has seriously got a screw loose.

Negative experience: My initial visit to this private dental clinic for Invisalign retainers was excellent. The staff were incredibly polite, and I paid upfront for a year-long treatment, including £350 worth of teeth whitening. However, once I'd paid, the service dramatically declined. Scheduling follow-up appointments and redeeming my whitening treatment became a nightmare. I had to call weekly, chasing them for updates. It felt like they were hoping I'd forget about the whitening. Despite promises of callbacks, they never materialized. The clinic's focus seemed to shift entirely after payment, leaving me feeling neglected and like they were trying to avoid fulfilling their promised services. However, treatment itself was great, my teeths looks beautiful but they are focused only on money.

Negative experience: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COSTS. They do not care about their patients and are only concerned about making money. I presented to them for an emergency appointment as I broke my tooth in half and had debilitating pain radiating down my jaw, neck and ear. They were running behind 30 minutes on appointments so they just wanted people in and out to make up time without any care at all for their patients. I sat in the chair for 30seconds and the dentist (Jaswinder) tapped my broken tooth and asked if there was pain to which I shook and exclaimed in pain (I was already in agonising pain which is why I booked the appointment). He responded with okay I’m giving you 5 days of antibiotics and that was it the end of the appointment. I had already started a course of antibiotics as prophylaxis when I broke the tooth prior to coming to him and all he did was prescribe me the same antibiotics again. I asked him what about this pain I cannot even stand because of it and he stated it was due to the infection. I told him this is definitely not the case as the pain started as soon as my tooth broke and I have pain even when breathing in (I am a qualified pharmacist working in an NHS hospital myself so have a basic knowledge). He did not even bother prescribing me any painkillers for the pain. He then had the audacity to tell me to book in for another appointment (not available for months) which I would need to pay for again as a separate treatment where he will explore it further and do any relevant scans. Because I was in so much pain (I couldn’t even attend work) I decided to go to another dentist the next morning (Smile) for another emergency appointment. They did X-rays and told me that due to the broken tooth I had an exposed nerve and that nerve being touched or irritated was causing me the pain I was experiencing. They performed an emergency root canal the same day to remove the exposed nerve and my pain was instantly resolved within a matter of seconds!!! Honestly this dentist should be sued for malpractice!! I would not recommend them to anyone at all. They do not practice patient centred care and are only out to make money.

Fantastic experience: I recently had fillings done by Dr Ramjit Gajadhar, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He was incredibly gentle throughout the entire procedure, making sure I was comfortable at all times. His calm and reassuring manner put me at ease, and the quality of care I received was truly exceptional. The service from start to finish was the best I’ve experienced — professional, thorough, and caring. I would highly recommend Dr Gajadhar and the dental nurse to anyone in need of dental treatment!

Negative experience: Constantly cancelling my children’s appointments, sometimes last minute. They’ll also change the time of appointments without a courtesy phone call to let you know. When it comes to the actual appointments you get there and wait ages to even be acknowledged and they run ridiculously late , even first thing on the morning.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Rabia Satti today with my mother and she was a massive help, she was very accommodating and understanding of any language barriers and did an amazing job of explaining any issues and made the entire process very comfortable!

Negative experience: This has been my dental practice for most of my life and while Dr Gill was my dentist I never had an issue. However since it's under new management it's been a terrible experience even trying to get an appointment to begin with. I call up everyday just to hear that the lines are closed when they should be open, I sent various emails and then finally someone answers the phone and says there are no appointments for months and all emergency appointments are gone. After pleading with the receptionist she does finally give me an appointment. I arrive and have an appointment with Rabia who advised scale and polish as well as multiple fillings but to come back on another day and the total quote was around £500. She said she could do this during her lunch break in 30-40 minutes but for this amount of money I'd rather my treatment was not rushed. She took a deposit of £50 but then rescheduled my appointment without telling me, I just got a text with a different time on it. I called reception to explain I cannot attend that time and it was not the agreed time and they asked me to send an email which was another annoying thing. It's taken around a month to liaise with the area manager to get this back which is absolutely ridiculous, all he needed me to fill out is a Google form with the same info I provided in my initial email. Lastly, I needed an invoice for insurance purposes and clearly stated what was needed however 4 times they have sent me the incorrect invoice with information missing, it's like they cannot read the emails or just wish to ignore it. I needed a digital copy and they told me they had technical difficulties but I think they just don't know how to use a scanner or are lazy. I am still waiting for said invoice and refund so I will be switching practices as soon as possible, I do not recommend this practice. UPDATE: 3 months later I have finally recieved the refund for my deposit after escalating to the area manager but I still havent received an invoice in the requested format so have emailed yet again. Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic experience: I have been registered with Moonlight Dental Surgery for few years now and have had very good experience with the care and treatment they provide. Under the new management things are even better. Receptionist Renu was very helpful with the whole registration process when I recently decided to register my family members. She was polite , friendly and very professional. I was given all the required information by the reception and I am looking forward to my next checkup.

Negative experience: Very irresponsible staff. Rabbia Setti who is a dentist there took 4 weeks to make a simple referral. She lacks both professionalism and humanity. They keep cancelling the appointments even for the urgent follow-ups. Shame

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the Moonlight dental surgery services!! To start with the receptionist Mrs. Renu, was very sweet and quick in giving us appointment that suits my kids availability! She also provided warm welcome to my kids to make them comfortable and ensured they are briefed about process! The visits were very well planned and hence we waited for a very short period of time to get into doctors cabin inspite of continuous appointment flowing in!! Also my kids doctor (Dr. Parveen) was very experienced and skilful. Dr. Parveen’s was very attentive to listen to my kids situation and history! The care that my kids received was exceptional. This made this visit pleasant to my kids and satisfactory to me!! She was quick in identifying the issues with my kids teeth and provide quick solution. The clinic premise was spick & span and shows efforts that the entire staff put in to ensure hygiene. I was very happy with the way the entire visit went and looked lot of efforts and planning and care the surgery gives to the patients visit!!! Loved my visit and will definitely make this as our go to clinic. Also recommending my friends about the same!!

Negative experience: I would have given 0 rating but we have to give some rating hence giving 1. They make the patients suffer till the end and still don’t treat them well . Very rude dentist who will ask you to come again and again so we pay for every visit. Still they would not be able to give proper right treatment. The receptionist is rude and even if you write them or complaint them they will just leave it dry and nothing will be done. As we don’t have complete information regarding the dentist , we can’t file complaints against them too with PALS. Please avoid going to this surgery. They are for your money only.

Positive experience: Across the 2 appointments' I needed Dr Rabia Satti was simply brilliant, dental service was outstanding, always giving detailed explanations. 1 appointment had to be rescheduled which was done with no fuss or trouble at all. Fantastic experience: Good dentist, don’t have to wait too long in the waiting area and the experience feels pleasant overall. Dr Rabia Satti was my dentist today and made me feel very comfortable when I was scared of getting a filling. Would recommend.

Negative experience: I'll start with the only two things I found positive about my experience. In the first instance, the receptionist was pleasant and competent. They emailed me a statement for my treatment cost before I'd even left the surgery. The other thing I was glad for is that the dentist filed down the filling before I left. Other than that, the eperience bordered on farcical. I first registered as an NHS patient with the practice in 2022. Last month my fiancé was informed they had a new dentist in and were accepting new patients, I queried at reception and they clarified solely private patients, so I registered as one. I was offered a checkup within a week. I arrived 10 minutes early for my 11:30 appointment on 16.09.24 and ended up waiting 55 minutes (45 minutes after I was scheduled in) by Rabia Satti. She said she'd been in a meeting with her manager. While in reception someone came in at 12:05 saying they had a 12:00 appointment, they were told that they'd actually gone to the wrong dentists but they'd try to slot them in. When I was finally seen, I was told I needed an xray, a scale and polish, & a filling, for the last of which I had the option of a composite or amalgam on the NHS. I said that I would prefer the amalgam, but didn't realise private patients were entitled to the amalgam. She only realised then I wasn't an NHS patient and there was a debate as to how to access the xrays that had been taken on the NHS patient database (I never got to see them, which is the first time I've had an xray and they've not been presented to me). I said I wouldn't want the scale and polish, she said she'd recommend it anyway and wrote it up on an NHS treatment plan form. When I objected, she said that if I complained in several months that I wasn't offered the choice she had evidence it was recommended to me. I pointed out that the NHS form said that I agreed to pay the cost of the recommended treatment plan (£50 checkup, £130 filling, £80 scale and polish). She finally under sufferance crossed through the scale and polish, so I initialled and signed the form. At reception she asked how much a checkup was and they said £40, she said charge him £50 regardless and take a £50 deposit for the filling. I was booked in for 30.09 for the filling, they called the Friday before to inform me that it was cancelled and booked me back in for 08.10. In the reception I once again waited - this time 20 minutes, which the dentist attributed to the dental nurse being late. While there another patient was given a £45 charge for checkup, he explained he'd been seen on the day, so the charge hadn't increased. When I queried that with the receptionist, she said private dentists charge differently. While receiving the drilling, my dentist dropped the mirror and I was actually surprised they replaced it with a fresh one. The dentist was constantly chastising the dental nurse, stating that the drill she was using wasn't cutting and that the dental nurse didn't have the bur stand available. While in the midst of drilling she made the dental nurse go into another room where they were actively treating another patient to retrieve one, was unsatisfied (despite the nurse, Parvinder, reporting that she had a minute to return it and they wouldn't accept further interruptions) and made her go into another room. She further criticised the dental nurse for disposing of a bur, stating they should be reused (to which the nurse objected that she'd been trained to dispose of all burs ater use and the NIH indicates that 5% of reused burs contain pathogens). Finally she didn't warn me after applying the composite, so I bit into it, leaving her a bit frantic. Edit: also, the room was so cramped the nurse couldn’t leave without brushing against my shoes. I'm sure I'm a bit of a difficult patient, but I think I'd rather risk endocarditis than return.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment for my kids with the dental hygienist and therapist zainab hakim. We had a fantastic experience with Zainab, She was incredibly patient, gentle, and made the whole process fun for the kids. Zainab's kind approach helped ease their nerves, and she explained everything clearly. Highly recommend her for anyone with young children!

Negative experience: I can give only 1 star. I am trying for emergency appointment since 8:30 today, It's nearly 11:30. They done my filling last week. Since then m in pain. I rang them during week. No good luck. I paid for my treatment, if something wrong they should give appointment. I will not recommend this surgery at all. Call them numerous time.

Negative experience: If I could rate them minus infinity, I truly would. I cannot emphasise how much I regret going to this dental practice. DO NOT GO Dr Jaswinder Gill, he will be leaving the practice in the upcoming months. If he opens another dental practice, I would struggle advise you not to step foot near it. He has no regard for his patients and only cares about money. He damaged my enamel on my teeth and bite during my Invisalign process. The dental team (particularly in reception) have lied to me on numerous occasions. After finishing my invisalign process and seeing the damage Dr J Gill caused my teeth, I sought out a second opinion from a different dentist. He advised me to get legal advice for dental negligence. For that reason, I have asked for legal advice from a law firm and I will be taking matters further as he is unwilling to help rectify the damage he's caused. There is so much more I could write but this review is too long so I will end with this, if you care about your teeth, do not go to Dr J Gill or any of the dental practices he owns.

Negative experience: Been trying over a week for a call back for an emergency appointment. They never answer emails, phone calls. I'm in agony and they aren't helping. If I want veneers I bet they would call me back.... not happy

Negative experience: They don t respect the time, I was waiting about 1h. Not proffesionals and they also don't understand when is it appointment should be "a appointment ". The appointment time to be respected because the time is important for everyone!!!.They don't care becauze you wait almost 1h!!! . I m only thinking if they also know how to do properly them job.

Negative experience: Turned up for my daughters appointment to be told by reception it had been cancelled! At least they could of let me know this today at some point.. I asked reason why they said he was off sick.. This dentist is going down hill so am registering with a new dentist now.. Anyone thinking on registering with moonlight I wouldn't bother.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs...not interested in your dental issues but getting you in and out as fast as possible and miss diagnosing issues...only interest in taking as much from you and getting you out with not much explanation..in my case this dental surgeries action caused me to be admitted to A&E for emergency interventions.

Negative experience: If i could give zero stars i certainly would. Mr Gill is an extremely uncooperative dentist. I have had an Invisalign treatment which was supposed to last approximately 14/15 months. My completion date has past and my teeth are STILL not straight. This dental surgery just keeps taking money from me yet can barely offer me an appointment or resolve my problem.

Negative experience: First they thought I was in for an emergency appointment, then I had to explain I’m here for a check up, literally spent next to no time checking my teeth and said they are fine. I’m not no expert but without doing a thorough check or even Xray how can you be so sure. I asked around and found the same level of service to neighbours at this practice £25 for a 2 minute check up, my wife was told £100 for hygiene appointment, go elsewhere the owner seems to want to make a quick buck and comes across very arrogant.

Negative experience: Staff are extremely rude & incompetent. Overly subscribed so appointments are difficult to get or you have to wait weeks to see the dentist. Jaz rushes through appointments, does not fully explain procedures. It’s all about making money for him and unfortunately you can really sense this. Patient care & priority is very low. There are plenty of other dentists in the area I recommend going to them and avoiding Moonlight!

Fantastic experience: My fals tooth falling twice in a month, in an emergency I requested them to make my appointment urgently on the same day due to my some other commitments. So I am lucky after listening my concern they checked and fixed the tooth. Also staff is very polite and helpful and give the response of any quarry. Fantastic experience: I had called many dental practices on that fateful day just to register as an NHS patient because my gum was swollen and awfully painful. Moonlight Dental Practice was my last try. Bingo! They picked up my call, very polite receptionist and I got an appointment straight away. I had to tell the dentist my anxieties resulting from my last dental visit which was an emergency. No need to repeat that experience because I don’t want to relive it. The dentist at Moonlight was so reassuring and true to his word, was so gentle, professional and polite. Having had all my previous dental needs met by my aunt who is a dentist too, I felt I was in safe hands again. The experience at Moonlight is first to none. I haven’t stopped telling others about it. Indeed, it’s nice to know that there are still dentists with compassionate hearts. The entire team at Moonlight Dental Practice are so nice and polite. Lots of professionalism in a non judgmental environment. Please remain as compassionate as you are. Thank you to the team!!

Negative experience: Moonlight dental surgery is one of the worst surgery in slough. I have been having same tooth issue for last 3 years, and they have done absolutely nothing to help me. They keep putting me on antibiotics, rather than eradicating the problem from the root. my tooth probably need an extraction. They have no clue what to do. I am in constant pain and suffering with this has affected my lifestyle. I have been back and forth with them with no end to my pain.

Negative experience: Not a good experience. I did invisalign treatment. At the very first visit everyone is very kind to convince you to have the treatment done, then they don't care about you anymore. At the beginning, to convince me, the dentist told me my treatment would have taken only 6 month, for real it took me 4 years!!!! There NO genuine interest in making the client happy, they just want to speed up the visits, doing things very quickly to move to another client and make more money. My teeth were not straight at all after 2 years, and the dentist would have easily completed the treatment if I didn't point it to him. Normally you should trust your dentist, and wait for him to give you his honest opinion, but that wasn't the case. Apart from that, the hygienic conditions were low. The dentist was touching PC keyboard, mobile phone and other surfaces and then put his hand in your mouth, it's pretty bad. I would not recommend this surgery.

Negative experience: This has got to be the worst dental practice.The male dentist doesn't listen got my procedure wrong They have taken payment & I'm still waiting for the manager to get in touch.absolute joke!

Negative experience: Have emailed a request 3 times over 2 weeks. still no answer to my urgent concern. Their chat system doesn't seem to work. Phoned them and got answerphone message they were all on lunch

Fantastic experience: I got seen this morning and the receptionist and the practitioner manager was extremely helpful and very apologetic which was comforting they explained to me what the issue was etc their wifi playing up which I appreciated glady and the work I had done extremely good thanks

Negative experience: The worst dentist I've ever seen. The staff aren't helpful, wasted my time on several occasions and then wanted me to pay for treatment that I didn't have, twice!

Negative experience: Mr Gill rude rude little man! He asked if I'm still considering invisalign as he can see I previously enquired. I actually came in with tooth pain and a hole in my tooth i waited around 45min took a seat and was told its a wisdom tooth take antibiotics and go to wexham for X-ray tooth will need to be removed. I returned back 2months later same tooth pain I'm once again being asked about invisalign when I have tooth pain. I explained my pain and was told oh ill give you some antibiotics and that the tooth needs to come out he did not even bother to look at the other teeth I had to ask. More interested in making money i will never pay you for your invisalign service I will take my money elsewhere.

Negative experience: Mr gill Very rude man who works in dentist been there for years and my last time and tired being spoken rudely and never listen to his patients appalling.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. The only good thing about the place is the kind receptionist (young lady with the blonde hair). I was advised to seek an emergency dental appointment from my local GP and 111 due to 9 days of jaw, ear and head pain, I also had swollen glands and a red throat which all indicated towards an infected wisdom tooth (I’ve previously had two wisdom teeth infected with both removed so I knew this was the likely the issue to my pain). As soon as I sat down and Dr Gill looked at my teeth he was completely dismissive of all my concerns simply because he saw that I had “turkey teeth” as he described. He stated I had an incorrect alignment and my veneers and crowns that I had done in Turkey last year were too big (I’ve not had any issues with my teeth at all since having them done, in fact the dentist in Turkey fixed the problems a UK dentist caused). He did not listen to my actual concerns and instead very rudely criticised the work of another dentist and patronised me saying “have you not watched the documentaries on tv about turkey teeth?”. Rather than listening to my concerns and me stating to him that I’ve had issues with my bite since I was a child and I didn’t have alignment in my teeth prior to my veneers he sat there and told me the only way to fix my issues is to have all my teeth taken out and replace which would cost over 20K. I said to him I think this is a wisdom tooth issue but he didn’t even bother to check. He said my GP was also wrong. I have never been so rudely spoken to and dismissed simply because I had treatment abroad. I walked away feeling upset, worried and let down. As I walked back to my car I phoned up a private dental clinic in the area who specialise in cosmetic dentistry. I told them what had happened and they made a booking to see me within the hour. During my appointment with the private dentist they xrayed my mouth and took a look, he said my veneers from Turkey are nothing to worry about, in fact they were very good quality, I don’t need any teeth replacing and all I have is a simple wisdom tooth infection which he photographed and showed me on a big screen. I was given antibiotics for the infection straight away with a follow up appointment booked. The fact Dr Gill could not spot a simple wisdom tooth infection and spent more time giving me his unnecessary opinion on “turkey teeth” meant I had to pay £250 for a private appointment. Absolutely disgusted in the way he speaks to people. At the end of the appointment I asked Dr Gill what to do, he said the only answer is to have all my teeth replaced. He caused me unnecessary panic and distress. I then asked if he knew any private clinics he could recommend and he couldn’t even advise me of one, just told me to google it. Never been so disappointed in my life. Avoid at all costs. An untreated infection could have caused so many more issues. I will be taking this complaint further.

Negative experience: Still waiting for a root to be taken out from a broken tooth which is a constant pain and abscess. And all fillings I've had since the 4 years I've been with you have fallen out. Please help as everyday is painful

Negative experience: If there is a zero point or negative less than zero i would give that as well , went there to my appointment today and doctor didn’t even talk to me or explain anything , he took less than mint to look inside my mouth then insert needle and he asked me to wait outside then he called me agin in but i told him i was in pain so instead of talking and trying to sort out the situation he told me to take this medication and go to book other appointment in other day , wast of time and still in pain left the dental practice asking them to cancel my next appointment and i will never be there agin if you want any details more or name of that doctor let me know if you want to improve quality of your practice
