Fantastic experience: I am a patient of Jacqueline Portelli. I used to have uneven, and very discoloured teeth. We spoke about what my concerns were, and Jacqueline suggested resins. She bleached my existing teeth, then used resin composites to reshape my smile. They're basically coatings that go on top of my existing teeth, so no need for anything too intrusive. The investment was worth every penny, and i felt a million dollars; my new smile took years off of me. Jacqueline is a true artist, and so gentle and kind. When i first met her i was quite nervous of dentists, but straight away she put me at ease, and i've since followed her and continued as her patient (12 years total). I'm SO excited that she's now back in St Neots! Just been today for a full check up and clean, and my smile is once again bright, and i feel rejouvinated. Go see her for yourself - Jacqueline is a true asset to any surgery.

We contacted spire dental and got a nice helpful lady who booked me in mid week. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, and the treatment I received was first class even calling me the day after to make sure I was ok. Highly recommend this business to everyone. Negative experience: It use to be a good place until recently - I had tooth extraction appintment and payed deposit for it - when they cancel and move it its ok but when you do you lose it - I'm changing dentists for sure this is unacceptable

His synergy and teamwork with any of the nurses he works with is seamless, they make a great team and I feel like I'm getting value for the money I spend on my dentistry every month.

Fantastic experience: Matthew my dentist has made me realise a trip to the dentist does not have to be a negative experience. The results left my very unhealthy tooth looking brand new and he works with you calmly explaining each step. You can tell he cares and he is kind natured. I'm am a very anxious patient and he has single handedly raised my confidence with now keeping regular appointments without worry.

Negative experience: Another update…. I made a complaint on the 10th March asking for a Manager to contact me, today is the 24th March and I’ve heard nothing!! Update: working day number 8, still not heard from a Manager. How come all the 1* reviews seem to be about the Reception staff?! Reception staff incompetent. Made a complaint 6 working days ago and it hasn’t even been acknowledged by a Manager! Therefore not even worthy of 1*

Fantastic experience: Really good work from zarah at spire, she did work on my top front teeth and they look great now very happy. Would definitely recommend her. All the staff are very friendly, I was actually removed from the patient list in the past for a missed appointment but the staff managed to get me back in and made time for me, i massively appreciate it my teeth were so bad and I had serious anxiety but I no longer dread going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Rosie was brilliant today as always. I had a troublesome tooth extracted today. Bad memories of dentists from my childhood means I am quite a nervous patient. Rosie put me at easy, explained everything and the whole procedure was over minutes. Thank you Rosie and well done.

Negative experience: The absolute worst dentist!!! Went there for a filling left with needing a root canal. She filed into a nerve and just put a filling on top of it I was in great pain and when I went back for the pain I was in they wanted me to wait 4 hours to maybe be seen or call 111 Thankfully another dentist else where seen me the same day and fixed the problem spire dental caused! I do not recommend this dental practice unless you want them to ruin your teeth !!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction at spire dental st neots never had one before so was a bit anxious the dentist sweat lad did her upmost to make me fell comfortable and make the experience as painless as possible I can't sing her praises high enough.Even the next day when I wasn't sure of something she made time for me.

Fantastic experience: I am super impressed with the Spire. My son crackes a back tooth last night. I called at 9am today and we got an emergency appointment at 1pm no issue. We go there at 1, and was called in before we even sat day. Saw a lovely dentist and assistant (sorry didn't catch their names. Checked over and rest kf the tooth removed and out before 1.20. Back for our normal booked check ups next week.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment at spire today I walked in to see the friendly staff behind the counter got my time sorted and sat down was only sat for a couple of minutes then went upstairs my appointment was quick and done to a high standard in a friendly atmosphere all round pleasant appointment

Negative experience: Misleading information from NHS website and during the call to register for NHS treatment. I specifically asked for NHS treatment and was assured this was ok, but in the treatment room it was explained to me that NHS treatment wasn't available. It's a scam to make people pay for private treatment!

Positive experience: Dentists are good but reception staff lack empathy,communication skills and customer care training.

Negative experience: Twice now, I’ve turned up to an appointment, (for which I have received a confirmation email, and booking reminder) to be told the appointment has been cancelled - though I was only told this when I arrived for the appointment. Wasted time, wasted petrol, wasted parking. Oh, and they sent me a ride ‘no show’ email, even though I did indeed ‘show’ but was turned away! Been coming 5 years to this dentist, private patient. Won’t make the mistake of turning up to a third cancelled appointment.

Negative experience: My rating is for the reception staff only. Worst of the worst!!! So rude!!! All that they know how to say is ‘uhhhhhh donnoe’. Saw me struggling with my buggy, didn’t even help. Just stared! I was having a nightmare and they made it worse. Do not go if you have to take your baby.

Fantastic experience: First time my little ones had visited a dentist. Very good experience. The dentist tried winning them over by talking to them and making them feel comfortable. He managed to have a quick look. The stickers at the end was a nice touch. Booked in for 6 months.

Negative experience: I have been a private patient at this practice for 12 years. Clinically, I could not fault anything at all. The dentists and hygienists have all been brilliant over the years. Unfortunately it is the support side that lets the practice down. My last two dentist appointments have both been cancelled, and I only became aware of this when turning up on the day. When questioning the lack of communication around this, staff showed no empathy for the inconvenience this caused me (I work in London and have to take half a day off work to attend). Instead, the response was rather defensive when they explained that bulk e-mails are used to communicate cancellations. Why the e-mails never reached me remains a mystery. In past, the practice used to also call or text patients. I was informed that due to large numbers of cancellations, this was no longer done. After careful consideration, I have decided to leave the practice and look for one where I am treated as a person, not a number.

Positive experience: New to spire dental. The quality of service I received was very high Nishma was very clear and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and there new patient offer is good. The reason for not getting five. My first appointment was cancelled on the day and my rescheduled appointment was delayed by half an hour. Life happens so it’s not the end of the world but it effected my work being late to my own clients.

Positive experience: As a customer of many years I know the dentists and hygienists at the practice are very professional and engaging. More recently there doesn’t seem to be enough admin support as I’ve not be able to speak to a receptionist on 3 occasions now, having to email instead.

Negative experience: Not very impressed as this practice cancelled my appointment three times in a row! Very poor. Would NOT recommend. Receptionist not very helpful and a little bit blaze, couldn’t really be bothered kind of attitude..In the end I asked for a refund which I’m still waiting for.. when you consider NHS is very few and far between now, so you’re forced to go private and you’re also required to pay upfront for services. It is a pretty disgraceful. When under the NHS, not once did I ever have an issue. But then again, during that time it was with a different practice and not this one. I am very very dissatisfied with this practice. AWFUL

Negative experience: My first visit was very pleasant for my checkup but the second visit was just awful! Upon entering the Receptionist was so unfriendly and very rude. Whilst waiting in the Waiting Area, 2 people who came minutes after myself were seen immediately. I was kept waiting for 20mins with no apology or any information on why the Hygienist was running late. When I asked the miserable Receptionist, she replied that she would check but disappeared to the back of the office. I had to just leave! It's a real shame to pull out of this Practise, all they need is a decently manned Reception.
