Fantastic experience: Just changed dentist to The Dental Care Centre Little Lever. Wish I had changed years ago. Beautiful building and the dentist I saw plus all members of staff are super friendly and very professional and efficient.

Negative experience: After dental negligence at her previous dentist, causing her to quickly lose teeth due to rapid gum disease caused by an apicoectomy, my daughter moved to the Dental Care Centre about 6 years ago. They took the remaining teeth out and gave her a temporary denture that was ill fitting and caused pain and irritation to her gums. She has had the same problem with the permanent denture. Rubbing and causing pain. If she has the denture in, it is extremely painful, rubs continually, blisters and leaves her with an aching jaw. Can't eat with the teeth in, which impacts on my daughter socially and mentally. The dentist ignores my daughters problems and tells her to just keep them in more even though her mouth is continually blistered. Several different dentists over the time she joined the practice. The only positive about the practice is Karen, the lovely receptionist.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing place. After 2 attempts at an extraction at my own dentist I was referred here. The building is clean and neat, the staff are friendly and good at what they do. My anxiety was high, but they calmed me down and made every thing easy. I was done and dusted within 30 mins and have had no further issues.

Fantastic experience: A breath of fresh air! Great visit today. Met a fantastic dentist called ‘Noor Fatima’. Absolutely delighted. I am hard of hearing, this lady was polite, a beautifully spoken lady, she made an effort to look at me when communicating so I could see what she was saying too. Dr Fatima is brilliant, very intelligent and knowledgeable as well as a caring and compassionate person. Dr Fatima fixed my broken filling and had my teeth all sparkling clean in no time and I went out there with a big smile on my face. Dr Fatima is exactly the kind of dentist we all need, a true professional and very empathetic. A very gentle lady. I only wish there are more people like her in the world as it would be a much nicer place to live in. Thank you so much for you amazing service. Mr S Martyn

Negative experience: I had one of the worst experiences at this dental office today . My children’s appointment is scheduled on today 30/4/25 at 11:45. I took my two children at the clinic on time, when I reached the reception told that our booking is cancelled and they phoned me over the phone and someone picked the phone and stated that the number is wrong and I cross checked the number and that too is us and she mentioned that an email was sent to my email address that too is not received. The receptionist is not at all polite. The reason for cancellation of today’s appointment is due to doctor’s absence and that too is not mentioned to me. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional and compassionate dental care.

Fantastic experience: Hannah was extremely professional. She was very patient with my daughter, who is autistic and has other learning disabilities. She took the time to explain to my son how to best look after his teeth. I would recommend Hannah as a dentist to anyone, she has a lovely manner and a very pleasant personality. She made what is usually a stressful appointment with my daughter, into a more relaxed one.

Negative experience: I came here for sedation for my wisdom tooth out. I was absolutely petrified as i am of dentists. The dental guy never even sedated me, or numbed my mouth. I felt everything. I was shouting and banging my leg but he still carried on with the procedure. I will never return here again

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental practice. Mr Slattery and his team not only provide an excellent service they do it in a caring relaxed fashion. If I've needed any treatment it has been explained why and how in very easy terms and I now have total confidence when going for my check ups, so thankyou. Update 7/8/24 very thorough visit today with Areej Dosa, hygienist and her assistant. Alongside a thorough clean she also took measurements which showed an improvement in my gums. Also thankyou to the receptionist who is always very helpful. 18/2/25 another very thorough scale and polish by Areej Dosa, thankyou. Also very friendly and relaxed on my last check up with Ravindra Saroya, fortunately didn't require any treatment, and again thankyou to Karen the receptionist who is always very helpful.

Positive experience: Very nice. Pleasant people but some entertainment in the waiting room wouldn't hurt... Not dancing girls but perhaps a TV or low music.

Positive experience: Got referred here for sedation, went for Pre obs, i am petrified of dentist, and the woman who did the pre obs, was so rude, asked me if I had any questions, but then stated she has other people waiting (there wasnt) and I only have 5 mins with her. Took me years just to get to this point. I am even more petrified now that the dentist is going to be rude and obnoxious like her. I was expecting a warm and empathetic welcome, I got a cold and hurried person. Fear of dentist is so real ! And people should be trained in this ! Trust me I've know I've been through worse, but this is a phobia.

Positive experience: New practice & new dentists taken over from former owner & dentist Nigel Slattery who is in my opinion second to none. Preferred his layout & atmosphere with coffee table fish tank & hexagon fish tank with beautiful relaxing music playing in the background. New dentist was very polite & until he adapts not as technically gifted and skilled as Nigel was who by far most gifted dentist I have experienced. Unfortunately hurt me several times during scale & polish vs feeling at trust with Nigel I was always in safe hands. Not sure if I will now leave the practice after 20 years plus because I am determined to find best dentist I can close as possible to Nigel Slattery. On positive note after few days pain settled down from scaling by new dentist and teeth look good & if not returning wish the practice well. Nigel, his decor, fish & pleasant relaxing atmosphere are missed & hope I cross paths with Nigel Slattery again by far best dentist ever encountered & truly beautiful man on earth!

Fantastic experience: This isn't my regular dentist. I came as I'm having a tooth taken out with sedation and I attended for the pre assessment and booked in for the appointment. Reception staff and the dental person I saw were extremely nice and knowledgeable.

Negative experience: They sent me a text message saying that they are accepting new NHS patients and I should call to book, when I called they said I need to come down to collect a form. I was at work this day and couldnt be there by 5pm when they close so went the first thing next morning at 9am and they said they are only taking under 16 years old. What a waste of my time, should have said this in the text or over the phone in first place!

Fantastic experience: Been terrified of the dentist from bad experiences from when I was a child and in the forces so after so long was feeling anxious but was made to feel at ease and although it was only a check up, this for me was massive, got to go back for some treatments so I can only go off initial appointment but things look good so far, Thanks Ayasha for the reassurance in the initial assessment, see you again in December Update: After I had treatment for removals elsewhere I went back to see Ayasha and the team for some work, I can only say what they had to deal with from me was probably hard enough but they were so patient and got started to getting sorted and after all's said and done I'm happy with everything even if I was a nightmare so really appreciate it thank you AAA+++
